Fantastic experience: I recently went for my first visit at Flagstaff Downtown Dental. Everyone at the reception desk went out of their way to welcome me and get me ready for my appointment. I noticed that the office was beautiful and sparkling clean. I was quickly called back and met Dr. Joshua Blaine and his assistant Jenn. They listened to my concerns and took their time evaluating my situation with care and complete professionalism. I am very happy with the service I received. Flagstaff Downtown Dental is my new go-to for my dental needs. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Blane examined my pressure sensitive tooth and used X-rays and hot/cold thermal tests and determined that I needed a referral to endodontist. He arranged that right away. I will be seeing the endodontist early next week. I appreciate Dr Blane’s careful exam, analysis of the situation and follow-up.

Negative experience: The hygienists and techs here are great. Unfortunately the billing department is not trustworthy and stole money from my account, and after 2 insurance companies denied payment for "necessary" services, I don't trust the dentists either. Sad, because Downtown Dental used to be the nicest place to go. It appears it was recently sold to a new owner and the changes have not been for the better. They recently started asking for payment upfront (on my account that had a credit balance [although they shifted my balance to my wife's account without authorization], for example, which just shows the level of distrust they have, and that is reciprocated right back to them.

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to everyone at this office! You are amazing at what you do! I've developed pretty severe dental anxiety over the years bc I have a small mouth + limited jaw flexibility. Most of the procedures I've had with other providers have been very painful and embarrassing as I've had hygienists, x-ray techs and dentists complain both to me and when they think they're out of earshot about what a difficult case I am due to my anatomy :(. Not the case at all with a single person here - just gentle accommodation and no pain! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Flagstaff Downtown Dental for over 2 years and I’ve had a wonderful experience. They’ve really helped me to transform my smile. Their office is beautiful, spacious, clean and run very professionally. I’ve never had to wait long and my cleanings are always throughly done. I was long overdue to get crowns and Dr Blaine and team were so supportive in helping me get through all the work leading up to my crowns. I love my new smile and I’m so thankful for their experience and quality service! I do believe some fees are higher than other places in town but you get what you pay and everything here is top notch!

I’ve met dishonest dentists in the past. I feel well cared for at this office and will continue as a patient.

After a long search to find an extremely talented surgeon to place the implant in a tight and difficult space, I needed and equally talented dentist to fit a crown on the implant. I am so grateful I chose Dr Stowell and his entire team who gave me every effort and truly cared about the result. Attention to detail is an understatement. The team at FDD is competent, courteous and professional. For a recent procedure, Dr. Stowell clearly explained the issue to be addressed, why it needed to be done and what it would involve. Using a mirror, he enabled me to see the filling that needed to be replaced with my own eyes. The dental procedure went very smoothly, and totally comfortable.

This all occurred just hours before the start of a long weekend. I was very impressed with the staff and Dr. Blane. It looks like I’ve found a new dentist! Conversation, largely one way, included discussion of no-show fees paid by clients not being shared with dental hygienists. As professionals whose time is valuable, it is not fair they are not compensated by receiving part of the no-show proceeds.

Fantastic experience: I had an old crown replaced, and it couldn’t have been more pain-free and hassle-free! Dr. Stowell is the best dentist I’ve ever had, and his team is amazing! I was completely comfortable the entire time, and it went much more quickly than I thought it would. I was totally confident in everything that was part of this procedure. This is a great practice with a large private parking lot and beautiful office. I will never go anywhere else!
