Patricia is an excellent and thorough hygienist. She explains each process she goes thru and gives brushing tips to keep your teeth and gums healthy. Fantastic experience: This is an excellent and caring group. Dr Planes did a lower plate for me that involved 5 implants. Through no fault of his, a couple of them failed and he had to make a new appliance. Throughout this 3 year ordeal, he has been extremely patient and did all of the extra work and appliances at no additional charge. Great guy.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ashley Marmolejos and DA Kathy turned what could have been a negative review of my ongoing experience at Planes Dental Arts into a top review. A while ago, I had a broken wisdom tooth. As many are, I am quite scared of going to the dentist, more so for a broken tooth. I have all my teeth and up until this point the worst I have had are cavities filled and one deep cleaning. I made an appointment and the Dr. who saw me at that time (do not recall his name) filled in my tooth as if it were just a cavity. This was fine. I went back for a cleaning and the tech called in another dentist, who proceeded to tell me I needed a crown (on a broken and failed-filled wisdom tooth). When I asked if they should just not remove it, I was told I needed to remove that, along with the corresponding bottom wisdom tooth (nothing wrong with the bottom one, as far as I know). I reluctantly made an appointment for a crown. I was advised by many not to move forward with either the crown or pulling of two teeth. No one had ever heard of having to remove two teeth if only one was an issue. This was after being told by the dentist who suggested I remove two teeth that wisdom teeth are only removed if impacted. Fast-forward to yesterday. I called in a week ago and decided to have my broken wisdom tooth extracted. I was ready to go in and ask for all sedation available that would allow me to drive home. I did not need to. Dr. Marmolejos and Ashley were kind, patient and caring. They walked me through the entire process. Dr Marmolejos explained every step before she began to make sure I was informed and moved forward only when I was ready. Her warmth never made me doubt her next steps and she got my tooth out without incident. She successfully pulled the entire tooth out, root and all. Kathy sat next to me, reassuring all was well and gently patting me on the should. I even laughed as I missed a queue from her to "bite down" on irrigation as I was so nervous she gently pushed my top lip down. When I had my wisdom tooth filled, I was swollen and bruised by the time I was home. It lasted a few days. Today is day two and I have no swelling or bruising - after an extraction. Dr. Marmolejos and Kathy are by far the best of the best and Planes are lucky to have both on their team.

Fantastic experience: CONSULTATION VISIT. Since I returned to Floridia after being gone 40 plus years, I have been looking for 3-4 years for a good, professional dental operation to maintain the good work my previous professionals and in three other states maintained. I saw understanding and knowledge in their questions and answers. I know some of my explanations were a bit vague. Based on their responses, they understood what I was trying to explain. I will continue with this group and I will follow-up with more reviews as time goes forward. I was very impressed with each agent and professional I dealt with on this first visit.

Positive experience: The infrastructure, support, and administration functions have suffered terribly since Loren was taken to the back office. This appointment is a case in point: a couple of months ago my top retainer broke. I called your office. In the past, Loren would take care of getting it replaced. Now, the manager said I had to come in for new impressions. She also put in my file that I grind my teeth, which I have never done. Today, I drove from Bonita Springs to Vero. The hygienist was totally ill prepared. She brought a dentist in who determined that I do not grind my teeth, that I did not need new impressions, and that my trip was a waste. I have always been happy with Planes; I still am after the dentist made his diagnosis. But the office worked much more smoothly from a client standpoint when Erin was in front. Thank you. TJB

Fantastic experience: ALL PERSONNEL working at Planes Dental Arts were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and charismatic. This includes Front Desk Office, Dental Techs, and Dr. Planes himself. EVERYTHING was explained in detail in consideration of my specific case that will involve full arch upper and lower zirconia implants. Fantastic experience: After finding Planes Dental on Florida Blue Dental site I called directly. Was able to get an appointment that fit my schedule. My paperwork was easily done on my phone. When I arrived at my appointment it was take a seat, I was called quickly. Julia welcomed me and took care of all radiology, then set expectation for the DDS. Chris came and introduced himself and set expectations. We discussed my concerns and he guided me to options for consideration. Next came Sharrif who examined my gums and prep for a cleaning. That was set up and my introduction to Planes was complete. Looking forward to working with the team.

Negative experience: I've been waiting until I was finished before leaving a review. Please avoid this company. It's been over a year and I still have zero top teeth. I should have walked out when he tried To sedate me using fentnyl. I felt every tooth being pulled. There's is no excuse for me being a year without top teeth. They made atleast 3 top dentures and none are comfortable. It's easier to eat without. This has truly effected my life. My plan was to return to working parttime once I had dentures. Not realizing it would take a year!! They are nice but I woukd avoid them at all cost. The only thing they care about is money. Again I was expected to go back to work ao I could pay them. 21000$ for only bottom dentures is a rip off. I'm not sure how I'm gonna keep making payments. It truly has made my life hell!! I've gone from a super social person to someone who hasn't eaten in a reaturant in a year! I don't do social events because I'm plain embarrassed! Please please avoid them!​​

Fantastic experience: Sharif the hygienist was thorough, gentle, friendly, and noticed and advised me on several issues nobody had attended to before and educated me about everything I needed to do and why. I discovered that I had been flossing incorrectly my whole life, and his guidance dramatically improved my gum health. He went above and beyond in his service. He also made sure I got a return appointment.

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with my first appointment at Planes Dental. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Once my x-rays were completed I met with the hygienist and the dentist to discuss the best course of treatment. Before scheduling any appointments I was presented with a detailed itemized quote showing what my insurance company would cover and my out of pocket expenses. I felt comfortable scheduling the necessary appointments without any pressure from the staff. I am looking forward to my next appointment.

Negative experience: I had some crowns done in Nov and Dec. They were paid in full, actually overpaid. I requested a refund and as of today have not seen the refund of over $3000. I have asked several times in the last month or more and still no refund. I requested to have an appointment with Dr Alex Planes and was told someone would call me, that was over a week ago and no call yet. Maybe Dr Planes himself would be willing to call me to get this matter settled.

Fantastic experience: My Mother went to the PSL Branch and was very happy with her newly installed crowns. My wife and I live on the very north end of Fort Pierce so my wife decided to the Vero Branch for a checkup along with two visits for deep cleaning and a maintenance cleaning who performed the services from a Hygienist named Sherif, she was treated with kindness and expert service, so I decided to go to Vero for my full checkup which ultimately lead to three crowns which took two different appointments. Dr. Chris and Assistant Kathy performed the service with expert care. Another service I received due to the extensive deep preparations for my future crowns was, Dr. Chis called my personal phone two days after my crowns were installed, just to check up how I was feeling, Wow now that's a rare service these days! I also just got back from my scheduled deep cleaning, and the Hygienist Sherif performed the deep cleaning, and he was very detailed with my cleaning and since my teeth haven't felt this smooth and looked brighter in many years. I have to give a shout out to the entire staff including Kim at the front desk who's been very attentive making my families appointments. Five Star Service from initial appointment to complete full services performed.

Negative experience: Been coming here for a while but had a very frustrating experience. Finished with my routine cleaning and xrays and had to wait for the doctor for 30 minutes while in the chair!

Negative experience: Revised review: After more than a year I still have not received my final teeth/appliance. The one provided did not fit, so they installed it only using 3 of the implanted 4 screws. Bit is off and it becomes loose and now they are Ghosting me, not returning my call or setting up an appointment to correct the issues. Now in the process of evaluating my next steps.

Fantastic experience: The first review I wrote about Plane’s Dental Arts, Vero Beach and Traditions locations was at least a year ago. Guess what?? The service, the staff and the experiences just continue to be unmatched. The staff is professional AND personable! The expertise is excellent and being a mouth cancer survivor who’s mouth is quite a challenge, that should mean something to a new patient. Knowing great talent is working in both the locations I have been to. You won't regret your first experience and perhaps this is the dental practice you never knew could be so service oriented!

Fantastic experience: They are the first dentist ever to give me a shot where I felt no pain, not even a sting plus first time ever to have bone marrow put in the socket where the tooth was plus stitched it up with no pain. They are by far the best dentist ever! Now I don't dread going to the dentist at all.

Negative experience: They lied about my insurance and about helping me out made me feel very confident about getting stuff done then when I get there it’s a DIFFERENT story would NOT recommend them to anyone. If I had a choice I would do NO STARS they are liars…. I never even saw the dentist.

Negative experience: I am very happy to say my issue regarding my refund of $1,ooo.oo with Winter Springs Family Dental has been resolved. Despite it taking quite a number of months I am glad it is finally resolved. Thank you it is greatly appreciated. I need help I have a $1,ooo.oo refund I have been trying to get for 7 months now. I have left numerous message via text, email, direct phone call to Olga cannot get an appt of go over my file or a refund. I have been getting I am working on it for 7 months. I have submitted every paperwork she requested. I am very frustrated and sick of it. They make you pay upfront but will not refund your money when it is due. Can someone please give me a name beside Olga I can contact.

Negative experience: Doctor seems very nice staff is very nice very nice facility only problem is that they had me sign documents for having the procedure done and I didn't really get a chance to read them and then I was wolfed out of the office with the idea that they would get their money up front for this procedure and now I'm reading that there's no guarantee I don't have a warranty because I am a smoker and I'm not real thrilled about any of this so and it's been very stressful for me to even see that so I need somebody to give me some reassurance that they're not just going to leave me sitting in the water I'm a 25-year smoker and I can't just quit overnight before the procedure so if someone wants to give me a call I would have greatly appreciate speaking with them

Fantastic experience: Alex Planes is a great dentist - his work is perfect. His office is clean and the hygienists give the best cleanings. Sherif was my hygienist, and he made sure that my teeth looked perfect and felt great. I move often and have had to change dentists frequently. After several dentists tried (and failed) to fix one problem tooth that had given me years of pain, I felt like it was impossible. Dr. Planes fixed it after one visit. Not only did my tooth feel great- it also looks perfect. He really is an artist!

Negative experience: SEEMS TO ME THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!!! Sherif is one of the hygienist we have used in past but he refused to do my routine cleaning today 4/13/25 because i refused X-rays to be redone at this visit being last time i was there they had been done with with no issues found. I am tired of making so many appointment and paying a few hundred dollars every time we go to the doctors when we are just trying to follow the “normal health care guild lines for our stander screening”. This generation relies heavily on test but i miss the old school professionals who are smart enough to pick up problems with their abilities to see and hear what happening by just an exam. I’m thankful there was a very nice hygienist by the name of pam, i think, who has over 20 years of Experience who allowed me to see her while there. She was sure to educated her patients the importances of good oral hygiene. Before she proceeded with todays cleaning she did check with Dr. Christopher who is now the weekly dentist there that sees most patients. Dr. Alex plains now sticks to major surgeries so only plan to see him if you have major issues. Thinking this practice is not like it used to be and worth looking into another dental office. I am so thankful Pam stepped up and was okay doing my routine cleaning as would not be happy that provider was refusing to see me after i drove all the way there from orlando for nothing! Respecting patients time is a high priority for me and this clinic has much to improve on when it comes to this! I would have been hopping mad if it was not for Pam. Health care providers fail to understand we have rights and respect patients time. I understand standard of care as a medical professional myself but maybe I’m old school. It’s our job to fully educated, give them the best care we can, with what we have, and it’s up to the patient to apply the rest! Each Hygienist seems to clam you as their patient; meaning once one has you in their chair don’t plan to see anyone else. If you are unhappy with your clinician be sure to tell them you want to see someone different next time as they will keep sending you back to this clinician otherwise. Prior to treatment they have you sign the cost of your visit which is always nice to know upfront than hit with an unexpected bill after. The office can be a bit disconnected from front to back staff. They often don’t have all their supplies in stock and have to go room to room looking for what they need. They don't give new toothbrush, floss, or small tube of toothpast at each cleaning anymore this seemed to change after covid for some reason but they offer free coffee and tea in the waiting area and give out wine glasses at new patient visit which seems very contradicting to helping promote good oral hygiene. Seems to me they just want your money!!! This office has wasted a lot of time and effort for us over the past decade. Dr. DelRio was our last dentist their who was warm, honest, and knowledgeable but no longer with them. Think Dr. Christopher replaced her seemed like a nice guy today but a very quick exam with not much but a quick look so no grove check or anything will likely try somewhere new next time. We have been frustrated in the past when setting up appointment and trying to make sure they had all the correct insurance info on file, along with sending over medical records so i think it time for a change as not seeing much improvement with this clinic. Recommend they try to keep the good staff. Lately we have seen this clinic Standards drop. Better when he first opened his Practice. Location nice area, off A1A between vero beach & inlet but failed remodel projects over the years and chairs in waiting room are not comfortable at all so hope they get you in and out quick. Wishing u good health & many blessings my recommendation is try others in the area over them as been with them for about 10 years now and it just keeps getting worse.

Fantastic experience: This is important for you to read if you are looking to get implants! My journey to get my smile back started with two other implant providers in Vero Beach and Sebastian, FL. The first one gave me a quote of $21,000 with two dental offices involved. That quote was just to replace my upper teeth with implants. The second one quoted me $19,000 for just the upper. I was looking at replacing just my upper teeth because of the expense involved. These quotes were given 2022 & 2023. The money was the issue at that time because I had little knowledge of how the process was actually going to take place. The first dentist, after my upper teeth were to be extracted was going to give me a temporary upper denture that would hold in place by being stuck to the roof of my mouth. She asked, "Do you ever have a problem with gag reflux? I'm not sure how, but I came across Planes Dental Arts in November 2023. I told Dr. Planes that I just wanted my uppers replaced, "because of the cost". He responded, "Why just the uppers? Your bottom teeth need to be replaced, also." He was right. My bottom teeth were also in bad shape. He then gave me a quote for both upper and lower. My answer was, "Well that's not going to happen! I don't have that kinda money." And I left sad. I felt Dr. Planes was my last opportunity get get my smile back. A month later I was contacted by Dr. Planes office explaining to me about an opportunity to have my smile back by using a new dentist, supervised by Dr. Planes, doing dental implants. This new dentist was new to their office but not new to dental implants. It would cost me less, so I started to save my money. April 13, 2024 I had my teeth extracted. I was expecting the worse because I was to have 21 teeth removed. I survived the extract process with no pain and no discomfort! The implants were also inserted at the same time. That was a Saturday. I was scheduled come back back Tuesday, April 16th, to be fitted with my temporary new uppers and lowers. Tuesday, April 16th, I was given my new teeth that I would be using until the implants were secured by my bones healing, about 6-8 months. That Tuesday, after the teeth were installed, Dr. Planes, placing a mirror in front of me, asked me to smile. Because of my missing teeth, I had not smiled in nearly two years. I forced the muscles to form a smile. Looking in the mirror and seeing my new teeth for the first time, made me cry. Dr. Planes said, "You just made my year!" As of this writing, I received my permanent teeth last Thursday. My wife, who is a professional artist, said, "They are perfect!". For me, they feel good and look great! I want to thank everyone at Planes Dental Arts! The entire staff are not just employees there, they showed throughout this entire process that they truly do care, not just for, but about their patients. They made my journey a happy one! Negative experience: Had a very bad start. Upper teeth kept coming loose, and actually fell out twice. I was very disappointed! After about 6 weeks and at least as many visits, they re- scanned my gums and made me a new set of upper and lower teeth. They fit much better, and since then, I have had 3 more sets of temporary teeth ( each one fitting better than the last). I am now looking forward to getting my permanent implants. / It is now Nov. 19. I had an appointment on Nov. 5 to get my permanent teeth installed and on that day they called me and told me that my replacement teeth were broken ( zirconium-broken?) and they would have to reorder them. Said I would be called in a week or so. I called them today because it has been 2 weeks, and they told me that there was nothing on the schedule for me. I’ll keep updating my post as we progress. Called on November 18th to see about getting another appointment, and got no reply. Called again on November 25th, 26th, and 27th, and no-one has called me back yet to let me know what is going on. I will try again next week, but I’m afraid I may have to to get legal assistance to get what I paid for. Looking through the comments, I see that I am not the only person who has had this problem. Before you give them any of your money, follow my post to see what I have to go through to settle this.

Fantastic experience: I had never been to this practice but it came highly recommended. I found the check in staff attentive & friendly. The actual dentistry staff were knowledgeable & came up with a treatment plan that was very observant of possible interactions with current prescribed medicines. I look forward to a continued association with this group.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I are very happy we found this Dental Group. Everyone is very professional. You feel at ease the moment you walk through the door. Everyone is very friendly. We love Dr. Weiss our new Dentist. He is very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. My husband actually does not mind going to the Dentist now. The Hygienist, Front Desk Personnel, Dental Assistants and Billing Office are all awesome. We are very happy with the services we are receiving. We look forward to continuing our relationship with this Dental Group for many years. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Fantastic experience: I've had both Kevin from the Rockledge office work on my temporary denture and I like him a lot For my dental surgeries I had Dr Ghods work on me I really like him too and he's the one doing my dental implants. I got my temporary implants put in this morning and they are solid. I had some problems with scheduling but Dr Ghods promptly rectified it. I am very happy with the Dr's and all the staff is really nice.

Fantastic experience: Been a great experience. Dr planes was very thorough with my dental work. I had full upper and lower implants done. Surgery wasn’t bad. I seen and heard horror stories. People looked liked they got beat up. I had zero bruising on my face, no black and blue eyes etc. Received my permanents today and so far I’m happy with them. Thank you Dr planes and staff. Btw the office staff was always great!

Fantastic experience: Although I have been a total chicken about getting my teeth back in good condition for 10 yrs. now, I FINALLY found the Planes Dental Arts!
