Fantastic experience: My wife and I had a wonderful first time visit at Dr Kim’s Dental Practice in Tucker, Georgia. We found the office personnel to be very welcoming and efficient. Dr Kim offers first time client an introductory fee which we truly appreciated. We found Dr Kim’s dental examination to be very thorough, complete and reassuring. It was obvious that Dr Kim had reviewed our dental records from our previous dentist. That gave us peace of mind. Both of our dentist hygienists were very competent, well trained and friendly. Our checkout was efficient and easy. We have experienced many dentists because we travel and we found Dr Kim’s dental practice to be exemplary and first rate. I chose Dr Kim’s because of his many 5 star Google reviews. I made a fantastic and correct decision to book an appointment at Dr Kim’s Dental Practice in Tucker Georgia located on Lavista Road. Fantastic experience: Dr. James Y. Kim is truly the best dentist! He’s very experienced and knows exactly what he’s doing, especially with implants. I had an issue with one of my tooth implants, and while another specialist suggested removal and a new implant, Dr. Kim was able to remove it easily and even saved the crown of the adjacent tooth. The procedure went smoothly, and I saved a lot of money. I’m so happy with the results and feel very blessed to have Dr. Kim — he truly cares for his patients!

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience!! I saw Dr. Kim for a root canal treatment and a crown, and also for a tooth extraction, and his job was impecable!! The crown looks totally natural, I had no problems with the root canal treatment and I appreciated the kind, efficient, and knowledgeable attention by Dr. Kim and really all of his team. The crown perfectly matches my other teeth! They listen carefully and explain things! I usually have an issue with my ear allergies and neck and cannot lie fully horizontal, so I apprecaite that they respect this and listen to my needs to be comfortable during my visits. All of the staff that I've interacted with, from the front office to the crown assistant to his dental assistant have been really great. I highly recommend this dental practice!! I've sent my husband to this office as well.

Caring, doesn't push you towards treatments that are unnecessary...as a point of fact, I have 20-year-old bondings on two teeth, and I mentioned wanting to eventually replace them as I was afraid they were getting old and would break. He told me that he wanted to go with an if-it's-not-broken-don't-fix-it approach. SO relieving...other dentists may have seen just a way to make additional money off a client, by Dr. Kim wanted to make sure I was only doing what was necessary to maintain quality dental health without having to pay for services that weren't actually needed. Highly recommend this office!!

I chose Dr Kim because of his reviews on Facebook, not knowing how actually amazing he is I went in for a regular cleaning and found out that one of the reasons why my front Tooth was chipped and deteriorating it because I had a root canal when I was very Young. I was starting to become very self-conscious and my smile was slowly fading, which to me one of my biggest assets. not only did Dr Kim and his staff fix the problem, but they did it to perfection. I normally would never leave these type of pictures on the Internet, but I am so pleased with his work, and I couldn’t be happier! if you are in need of a wonderful, kind experienced dentist, Dr Kim is your man! Fantastic experience: I returned to dentist Dr. Kim for a more complicated filling for a tooth where a small piece broke off. He answered my questions and completed the filling. I am impressed that he kept the bite fitting of the teeth unchanged. Also the teeth cleaning I received two weeks before was excellent.

Fantastic experience: 2025-3 Update: just cleaning without x-rays for around $140…seems reasonable. I have no dental insurance. Nice, efficient hygienist. Still looking good. 2024-2 Update: Cleaning went well. Had a new hygienist, because the last one left, but there was no hiccup in the scheduling. Normal COVID questionnaires and precautions. Prices seem normal. 2023-8 Review: Great dentist and hygienist. I’m a new patient and was lucky enough to get their new patient who pays cash deal. Not a great fan of panoramic X-ray, but all is included in the first visit. Office is well run and very friendly and plays good background music. I especially like Dr. Kim’s approach of not pushing services. He mentioned that I would eventually need some work, but pointed out that I would know when it’s time.

Fantastic experience: I am 55 years old and I have always had a fear of going to the dentist office. But I would highly recommend Dr. Kim and his staff. They were patient and kind, through my silent tears. Dr. Kim preformed a root canal and I felt absolutely no pain or pressure. Even hours later once the numbing agent wore off. My pain was minimal. I was able to take OTC meds, didn't need the prescription. Please trust your dental care to him and his staff.

Fantastic experience: My first visit and dare I say a dental visit was pleasurable? It was. The people make the atmosphere welcoming and very orderly. Things that made me feel I was in good hands were first they xrayed my whole mouth. Then an assistant came to give me a quick exam followed by Dr. Kim who went over his observations and recommendations. Very thorough and even gave me something to discuss with my cardiologist. Next I had a very detailed cleaning and the hygienist gave me a good lesson on good hygiene but the why if it all and the best times to brush and floss. They recommend the water pic type cleaning with brushing and flossing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

He has never charged me a cancellation fee and has only recommended other options to help me take care of my teeth while having dental anxiety. Dr. Kim was very friendly. He didn’t try to push services on me I didn’t require. I finished up with a cleaning by Katie. She kept checking to make sure I was comfortable.
