Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for years. Every person I’ve dealt with from the front desk to the dentist’s chair has been remarkably accommodating, friendly and helpful every time I’ve been in. This is the best dental office in the greater Phoenix area without a doubt.

Fantastic experience: It is a pleasure to review Sonoran Dentistry. Moving to a new city poses many challenges. As we all know finding adequate healthcare in itself is a relief, but finding EXCEPTIONAL healthcare is a gift, and as I have found in the past 20 years after moving quite a lot, it’s next to impossible. It can take a lifetime to establish a qualified team of doctors. Dr. Herro at Sonoran Dentistry is a skilled practitioner. She was referred to me by my daughter who has lived in the area for quite some time and is a patient of the practice, as well. I had been advised to have a crown by 3 previous dentists. However, struggling with the aftermath of bad dentistry in many cases is much worse than the original issue, so it was important to me that I was in good hands. Dr. Herro is a young confident woman and immediately transfers that confidence in her abilities to her patient. After the initial checkup the procedure was scheduled. She performs the entire procedure for one day. They do the crown in house, so it was very convenient. I have had a few prior crowns, so I thought I knew what to expect - bite adjustments and follow-ups are often required. Most times there is soreness around the gum area. Not in this case. It was the easiest crown I have ever had. I felt zero pain during or after the procedure. The fit was excellent, requiring no further visits. I am 100% satisfied!! She is Exceptional!!!

Fantastic experience: Everything about this dentistry is so amazing. They really make you feel heard & seen. Ever since stepping into their space, you are greeted with smiles and compliments. It also has a nice modern vibe to it which is very welcoming. They were very speedy and didn’t make you wait which can be very frustrating as appointments can take a big chunk of time out of your workday. She takes her time, answers all of my questions and explains everything. She did an amazing job and is genuinely caring. Negative experience: I tried to call twice. Phone system just hung up without chance to leave a message. As a potential new patient this is unacceptable client service as no way to talk to someone. No need to respond, I just want you to know as you lost a patient.

Negative experience: Been a customer for over a decade. In fact I've been a customer before the new office and all of the dentist's that are there currently. While I have had a good experience over the years today was astonishingly awful and I'm leaving. What happened? Well if I want an appointment I have to wait 7 months because that's the soonest opening. 7 months. They really appreciate my loyalty apparently. So yea good luck there.

Fantastic experience: I started coming here about 9 years ago when I first moved to the area. I had a great experience but when I moved from the area I decided to find a dentist closer. Big mistake. After a year or so I was back. Dr. Zubairi helped fix some bad dental work and has made great recommendations. I’ve been back for a few years again and trust her advice and will no longer take good doctors for granted! Also, all the staff is the most friendly and happy and professional and kind. That makes a big difference and I appreciate it.

Fantastic experience: Truly the Best Dentist Experience I’ve Ever Had Dr. Herro is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been to. From the very first visit, I felt completely at ease — and that’s saying a lot coming from someone who used to dread dental appointments! You can tell she truly loves what she does and genuinely cares about her patients. The Dental Hygienist Sana that took care of me was so kind, She was gentle and thorough as she did my cleaning. Fantastic experience: I am a brand new patient to Sonoran Desert Dentistry. I was impressed from the moment I walked in the door. The office is clean, the check-in process with Mia was a breeze! I was then taken back for x-rays with Victoria who was a great conversationalist and explained everything she was doing to put my mind at ease. I was extremely impressed by the technology they are using. By far, way more advanced than my previous clinic which makes for a less invasive experience and more concrete results. Negative experience: What a wonderful office! My first visit today and I am so impressed! Everyone I spoke to was exemplary and I think I received the best cleaning I’ve ever had in my life! Definitely 5-Star! UPDATE: Once "they" decided I need a deep clean on "3" of my teeth $$$, I managed to get one more regular cleaning in. I've now been told they can no longer provide anymore services in the future. I'm dumbfounded. BEWARE.

While Dr. Herro was my provider on this visit, I can confidently say that all of the doctors in this practice are top-tier. Fantastic experience: The office staff are incredibly caring and professional, making my first visit—and every visit since—such a positive experience. Dr. Brad has been managing my alignment issues with Invisalign, and I couldn’t be happier with his care. Anytime I had a concern—whether it was adjustment pain from new aligners or a button falling off—they took my concerns seriously and fit me in as soon as possible. I even drive from Surprise, Arizona because they’re truly that good!

Negative experience: I was extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism at this dental office. I placed a $250 deposit for a procedure, but due to an unforeseen emergency, I was unable to attend the scheduled appointment. When I contacted the office to explain and request a reschedule, I was told the deposit would be forfeited, no exceptions, no credit applied, and no consideration for the circumstances. While I understand the need for policies, the complete lack of flexibility or empathy was disheartening. A patient-centered practice should be able to distinguish between negligence and a genuine emergency. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling more like a transaction than a valued patient.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist appointment of my life! I have had horrible experiences at the dentist throughout my life. My teeth are really sensitive and it’s been so hard finding a hygienist and a dentist who are patient but also thorough. I heard from previous dentists that they couldn’t clean my teeth properly because of how much I was complaining. Well, I now know it was their problem, not mine, because Victoria gave me a complete cleaning and polishing. She is a phenomenal hygienist - I told her she can never leave, because she will be my hygienist forever. She was so thorough, patient and caring. They have nitrous oxide gas, so that helped me keep calm and pain free. Dr. Brad examined me without rush, answered all my questions in detail and was overall very kind. Also, Dr. Brad did my bf’s veneers and they look phenomenal. If you are afraid of the dentist, this is the place for you. If you are just looking for an extremely competent team of professionals, this is also the place for you. I can’t recommend them enough!

Positive experience: I had used Sonoran Dentistry for many years and overall, I have been pleased with the care that was provided. This year seems different and I will be looking for a new dentist. I had a crown placed and a month in, it broke off. I fully understand things happen, but when I called to get in to have it repaired, I was told it would be over 2 weeks. To me, that should have been an immediate appt given the circumstances. I waited and had it repaired and so far no more issues. Today, I had a very stressful morning (unrelated to an 8 am dental appt) and I forgot the appt. I called and explained that I had forgotten and that I certainly could reschedule. This was the first time I had ever missed an appt. I rescheduled and then I was told they needed to collect the $75 dollar fee for missing the appt. I told them I would look at a new dentist and ended the call. I did receive a text that they would wave the $75 dollar fee this one time, but I am not interested in continuing to do business with a dentist who seem to be more concerned about the revenue than being understanding and reasonable with their patients. This was the last straw. Edited edition: Fast forward. Most of the dental work performed by Sonoran Dentistry has required follow-up work. Very disappointing. One bit of clarification. What dental service would go into business without a plan for emergencies? I get it that we have obligations such as National Guard Duty. That's not an excuse to deliver care to your patients.

Fantastic experience: Truly a wonderful office. I have been a patient here since I first moved to Arizona in 2018. Everyone in the office is friendly, kind and helpful. The office is very clean and efficient. The dentists are honest about exams and procedures. The front office staff was always so helpful in moving around appointments or offering last minute cancellations. I moved about 30 mins away several years ago and for the past few years have happily commuted that way just because of the amazing staff. When I decided to finally change practices because of location, Romy was so kind and helpful and sent the forms right away. Kindness and great patient care makes a world of difference, and this office has it! Thank you!

All the dentists (shout-outs to Dr. Herro, Dr. Brad and Dr. “G”) are kind, knowledgeable, always ask if we have any questions, and we are never rushed. As for their work, they are very good at breaking down what they need to do to you while answering any questions you have. Fantastic experience: Teeth cleaning with Lilly- best teeth cleaning ever in my “decades” on earth. Confident, pleasant, efficient - as well as an sweet authentic human being. Dr. Brad and Dr. Z are the best ( haven’t experienced the other dentists at this office but I’m sure I will - they seem to attract the highest caliber ). I moved from CO 5 years ago and have tried to give two other offices- dealing with many issues. Today I finally found my dentist office! So thankful!

Fantastic experience: This office is amazing, starting with the front office staff. They are always willing to help answer any questions and accommodate patients. I love how communicative they are with the back office about patients and their schedules. Romy and Amy are always on the run, helping patients with scheduling appointments, answering questions, providing information about procedures, addressing insurance concerns, and so much more. All the front office staff are always there to help you! Now, the doctors here have it all! Dr. Brad is an amazing, passionate dentist. From the moment I started working with him, I could tell he LOVES what he does. Dr. Brad thrives on tackling challenging and special cases, and he always amazes me with his exceptional work. I love his attention to detail. If you’re looking for aesthetic work, implants, veneers, etc., THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. Dr. Gastelum is the doctor I worked with the most, and he is by far THE BEST—here’s why: Dr. G is incredible at what he does. He always starts the day with a smile and genuine excitement to do what he LOVES. He takes excellent care of all his patients, ensuring they are comfortable before starting any procedure. He is calm, patient, and meticulous in his work. His numbing techniques are magical, according to his patients! Dr. G’s work on teeth is remarkable. He takes his time with patients and is very conservative with tooth structure, which is always a plus. I love his work, and I often tell him at the end of appointments that his fillings and crowns look flawless, like there’s nothing there at all! Dr. G’s exams are also extremely comprehensive and thorough. He always provides patients with options, explaining the best-case and worst-case scenarios. He genuinely works with his patients’ interests in mind. Dr. Herro is an exceptional dentist who truly stands out. She approaches every case with enthusiasm and professionalism, making even the most complex procedures seem seamless. One of the things I admire most about Dr. Herro is how she always takes her time with patients, especially when explaining procedures and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. If you’re looking for a dentist who is not only highly skilled but also caring and patient-focused, Dr. Herro is the one. It’s been an absolute privilege to work alongside her. Dr. Zubairi is an incredibly calm and patient-focused dentist. She has special techniques that make every procedure smooth and comfortable for her patients. It’s always a pleasure to work alongside her and witness the care she provides. The dental assistant team at this office is truly outstanding! Daniela, Eric, and Jenn go above and beyond to ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for. They are always ready to answer questions and explain procedures in a way that’s easy to understand. With their expertise and compassion, you can trust you’re in excellent hands. Negative experience: I was a patient since Dr. Parsanko owned this business. Over 10 years. However, it has drastically changed. My husband had a medical emergency and was taken to the hospital - but apparently that wasn’t sufficient for this business because he lost his deposit for canceling an appointment. The dental hygienist that had been here for years left the practice and now so did we. If you can - avoid this place. They seem to only care about money now and profits over people.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist is absolutely the best. She pays attention to every detail and explains everything to me. I also appreciate the follow up call to make sure I understood everything. Today the dentist squeezed me in on some extra work so I didn’t have to make a new appointment. It was very much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. I was very impressed with the high tech equipment and procedures during my appointment. Victoria did a great job cleaning my teeth and taking X-rays. Dr. Herro was great. She was very thorough and patient when explaining what the X-rays showed . I was so glad that this practice was recommended to me. I highly recommend Dr. Hero and Sonoron Desert Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Sonoran Desert Dentistry, and it was great from start to finish. The front desk was welcoming. Lily, my hygienist was friendly and knowledgeable . Dr. Zubairi was fantastic. She explained her recommendations thoroughly and answered all my questions. I will definitely continue to come here for all my general dentistry needs.

Positive experience: Cleaning was as per expectation of a regular cleaning, nothing spectacular. But the admin staff and policies not recommendable. Once again, they're trying to charge EXTRA for a regular cleaning.... the dentist didn't even see me, and yet they want to charge MORE for a NON-existent beyond-regular cleaning service. Not good... Amendment: changing to 3 stars from 1, for Dr Brad's effort and patience to explain stuff (and he's a very good dentist)... though I'm still not convinced with the billing (that the regular cleaning I got equates to what I'm being charged for).

Fantastic experience: Dental hygiene and annual checkup was excellent, but cost for crown and color match was unexpectedly high. Previous crown work did not have extra cost for color match. Dr. Brad does excellent work. Just wish that the front office kept that prevoius 'small practice' vibe. Changing to 5 star. Dr. Brad called to explain that color matching is an optional item. I stand by my previous statement that dental work provided is excellent. Staff is very professional and puts a high regard on patient relationship.

Fantastic experience: The whole staff, from as soon as you walk in, to getting your teeth cleaned, to checking out, everyone has a smile on their face and are so welcoming. It’s a dentist that makes you feel at home for the two times a year you visit.

Fantastic experience: Had a great first time experience here with Dr. Herro. She was thorough, explained everything in detail, and had great “bedside” manner. She presented all of the options I had regarding my dental care and allowed be to make an informed decision after giving me a detailed medical explanation of my dental pathology. Fantastic experience: Beautiful, Comfortable office and examine rooms. My Hygienist was absolutely amazing and kind. She explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable and it didn't hurt that she looks like a movie star. The Dentist came in after my cleaning and did my exam and was also amazing and explained and showed me photos of my teeth and explained what was going on in my mouth. Like a lot of people I don't like going to the Doctors but I now look forward to my next cleaning in 4 months.

Fantastic experience: All of the Office staff and Dr. Brad were amazing every single one of them has outstanding customer service and I really appreciate that. They spoke to me just as a normal person in a language and a conversation that I could understand (without extra medical terminology) it made thinking about my treatment plan easier with as real and informative that they were. Update7/2024 I cannot say enough great things. I am past the halfway mark of my treatment plan and even though I was frustrated in the beginning and a bit of a brat the staff has been so kind and understanding they are amazing all of them. I kind of enjoy going for my appointments just knowing how kind and helpful everyone is. Then we have Dr Brad, just wow. He has taken every concern in mind and has done an amazing job. He is so skilled, kind and an innovative thinker. When I went again yesterday for another procedure he had the lab guy and his assistant (sorry I forgot their names) but they were awesome as well. And I was surprised about a change in plan but it was more than I hoped for. It felt like a gift. I’m so grateful for all of them. I don’t do a lot of reviews but they all deserve it! I had no pain or soreness after either- and he was so gentle and communicative throughout the procedure! Everyone at their office is also so so friendly! I will for sure be going back! :)

AND, my dentist praised Dr Brad’s root canal work! I have always been afraid of the dentist office, but no longer! The staff at Sonoran Desert Dentistry are fantastic and Dr. Brad is the best. I've been impressed with their professionalism and caring. I'm actually looking forward to my next visit.

Fantastic experience: I had the opportunity to get my teeth cleaned by one of our amazing hygienists today! I promise my review is not at all bias just because I'm an employee! This was my first time getting "the patient" experience for myself and I can see why patients LOVE our practice and rave about Anna! Anna was extremely gentle! I loved how fast and efficient she was without feeling rushed. Her technique with the hand scalers was precise and so gentle not to poke your gums or scrape too hard. I love that she used a combination of the ultrasonic scaler and was so careful not to miss even the smallest little spot of build-up! My teeth had that freshly cleaned by a stellar hygienist feel and I couldn't be more satisfied! Thank you SDD for taking great care of the staff and our beautiful community!

Fantastic experience: As someone who has the worst anxiety about going to the dentist, I can confidently say that a lot of that anxiety and stress has been put to rest after my experience at Sonoran Desert Dentistry! I went in last week for an emergency tooth extraction. I was in so much pain and absolutely terrified. However, as soon as I called, everyone from the receptionist to the dentist, were just absolutely so wonderful! Emma (receptionist) was so kind and gentle with me on the phone and was so inviting the second I walked in! They were able to get me an appointment day of within an hour. I didn't know how severe the cause of the pain was, so when I was told that I would need to have two teeth extracted that same day, I panicked. Heidi came in to help me with all financials and was so responsive and knowledgeable of all of my concerns and questions and really put my mind at ease when it came to securing a payment plan! Dr. G was the dentist I saw and he immediately made me feel so comfortable! His entire team was so friendly and funny! It was also very comforting to have them speak Spanish. I speak both English and Spanish fluently, but just having them speak to me in Spanish made me feel so welcome and safe! I just want to give a tremendous THANK YOU to that entire staff for making my experience there so calming! 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient and recently went in for some unexpected work. I can't praise Dr. G and his staff enough. They are amazing! Not surprisingly, I'm generally not a fan of going to the dentist. Dr. G and his staff made the experience not only tolerable but I'm now less apprehensive about scheduling my follow ups knowing the exceptional care I'll receive. Fantastic experience: Got an amazing cleaning/checkup this week by Stephanie, she was amazing! Been going to Anna for years but I gave her a break from me this time... Dr.Brad completed my exam and thoroughly explained why he recommends the treatment I need. I was able to learn a lot from my own mouth and they were able to do same day treatment too! The dental assistants were also great at mentally prepping me prior to my procedure. Salsabil got my room set up while Eric jumped in for treatment. Quick and efficient. Glad to have people who care about my dental needs <3

Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth before a trip to Phoenix and my nephew gave me the number to his Dentist, Dr. G I called before hours and immediately received a call back and could get in when my flight arrived. My tooth needed to pulled, which is never fun, but was pain less also had a bone graft which Dr. G recommended to help with the healing process and the future tooth replacement. I would highly recommend the practice for their professional staff with the help and upfront information on billing and finding my insurance information. Finally, Dr. G did a great job of explaining post procedure I had no bleeding and day 2 no pain.

Fantastic experience: My name is Wen, I’m a patient of Sonoran Dessert Dentistry. I’m one of the happy patients with Dr Herro. I’ve had bad teeth since I was little, I was always so nervous when I went to dentist in the past till I met Dr. Herro, I couldn’t believe that I even dozed off while she was fixing my teeth . She removed my old silver filling on one tooth and put new filling in, also made a crow on another tooth. She did all those in only 2 hrs. That was really impressive.
