Fantastic experience: This was the first time here and they were very good and fast. Usually other locations we’ve had to wait longer and my daughter wasn’t comfortable but here at Illinois, I will be bringing her back. Dr.Raj and Ashley were great and so was the rest of the front staff.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars all they way from the front desk to the back. Everyone was wonderful to me.So very kind. Dr.J and is assistant Alejandra explained everything to me. I had 1tooth pulled 2 fillings and 1 crown. All at the same time.I had very little pain during and after . That's amazing. I have had lot's of dental work done in the past.They made me feel totally at ease through the entire treatment.That means so much.Dr. Raji was very kind to. Although he did not do my treatment Dr.J did. They talk to me together explain everything I needed done. And I need alot because I am a cancer survivor. Chemo drugs have affected my teeth . I will have the other side done after the holidays. I will recommend them to all of my family and friend's.I am a very happy pain free patient . Thank you everyone for your kindness.Blessings to all.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at Illinois Family Dentistry. They told me I had 13 cavities, which seemed excessive. I went to another licensed dentist for a second opinion, and they confirmed I actually had only four. That kind of difference is alarming and made me lose all trust in this office. I also requested a cleaning, but all they did was polish my teeth over plaque—no scraping, no thorough cleaning at all. It felt rushed and careless. Based on my experience, this place seems much more focused on money than on providing honest, quality care. I strongly recommend that no one come here without getting a second opinion first. I felt misled and taken advantage of.

Positive experience: My cleaning was quick and painless!!! I love that!!! The one thing I didn’t enjoy much was all the water running down the side of my mouth and down to my neck. Other than that the experience is not bad!!! My doctor was Dr.O assistant was Brisa!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

Negative experience: TLDR; clean office with tvs on the ceiling but felt like a money grab and horribly service. UPDATE: I saw a different dentist after this visit and they said I had no cavities. This place is a MONEY GRAB I had really high hopes for this place given the great reviews it has, but alas I was let down I came in as a new patient for a cleaning. I wasn’t able to see the dentist I made an appointment with but was able to get in with another dentist instead. They did my X-rays. That was a smooth experience all together. Newer x ray machines and the technician was easy to work with. I finally get to see the dentist, and she does a teeth checkup. She tells me I have two new cavities and doesn’t go more in depth. I haven’t had a cavity in the last 20+ years of my life. I ask for more detail as I’m caught off guard and didn’t get much back other than “would you like fillings?” I say yes out of panic. I also asked to get my mouth guard cleaned. I get sent an invoice of the fillings and mouth guard cleaning service. Mouth guard cleaning is $100 which baffles me as I’ve never been charged at multiple dentists for that service let alone $100. I can buy an ultrasonic machine to clean my mouth guard at that point. I call the dentist back and ask for more thorough analysis of my cavities. I tell her to show me the X-rays and she takes pictures of it. It doesn’t look like an obvious cavity so I asked her to take a picture of a regular tooth to see it side by side. Then I ask for more info regarding how long it takes in general for a cavity to develop given my last dentist appointment 5 months ago didn’t mention this. She gives me the typical “it depends” answer, and sure, whatever but honestly this didn’t feel helpful. I tell them I no longer want fillings and only my cleaning. I wait another 45 minutes to get my teeth cleaned after. The cleaning was absolutely horrible quality. There was water all over my face and running down my chin. She hits my tongue with one of the tools, and of course I flinch and tell her what happened. No apology. Water hits near my eye and I have to sit up to wipe it - no apology. The flossing was half assed. I looked in the mirror when it was all done and still saw food visibly in my teeth. Perhaps I should have rescheduled to see the dentist I originally scheduled with. This was really disappointing.
