Negative experience: I am very disappointed with that place since I have been a patient for twenty years. I am not a fan of xrays . I believe this is a patient’ s decision if it is supposed to be done since my gums and teeth are in a perfect condition. On my last visit the medical assistance told me that it was LEGAL to have xrays every two years and she was not gonna do a check up without them. It was ridiculous because xrays are just recommended …so she lied to me. I believe the facility is simply greedy for money. There is no specific law requiring them to be taken and patients have the rights to refuse them.

Fantastic experience: The waiting area is cozy. All the staff are polite and professional. They have thorough explanation of any recommended procedure to be done to have good looking and healthy teeth. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: As always, I had a great experience at your office. I am a nervous patient, but everyone takes their time with me and are very patient and I appreciate that.

Negative experience: Too expensive! They charge too much for the service. As as example for root canal they charged 2k, but my insurance accepted price was 1k and then insurance paid 50% so i was supposed to pay 50% which is $500 but i ended up paying 1500 because their cost for root canal is 2k. After service i received quotes from other dentist and it was WAY lower for same service! PLEASE try getting quote from other dentist and you will see the issue right away!

Fantastic experience: Not the biggest fan of the dentist from past experiences, But I like going to Advanced Dentistry with Dr Dustin W . He's nice and gentle, walks you through the process, and a big one for me -makes sure you are comfortable during a procedure. The hygienists are all very nice and gentle - i don't leave with my mouth hurting afterwards thankfully. 5/5

Fantastic experience: Dr Tyler is not only a superior dentist he’s also a heck of a nice guy. Has so much compassion, he adds the personal touch. Gabby is a true sweetheart, she too adds to the personal touch and family feeling that permeates through the office !

Fantastic experience: Edit: I got my tooth removed at another dentistry and one week later at 10 pm the blood clot got dislodged and it would not stop bleeding throughout the whole night. I walked in still bleeding around 7:30 am the next morning before they were even ready to take clients and as the staff was still coming in. Running on no sleep I desperately explained my situation to the receptionist who walked in at the same time I did. Dr. D Wylde overheard and recognized me (I had only been there twice total in the span of a year) and said that he would get a room ready, take a look at it, and take care of it. With no appointment Dr. Wylde checked it out, solved the issue, and I left feeling so relieved. Very grateful to have a dentistry that genuinely feels like they care so close to home! Very friendly and professional staff! They were very attentive and genuine. Left confident with my teeth and smile after the service I received!

Fantastic experience: I came to Advanced after having a not so great experience at another dentist and being in a lot of pain. From the first phone call and through all of my appointments, I have been treated with kindness, patience, and care. The entire team really does a great job of listening, educating, explaining, and working in partnership with each other and the patient to create the best care plan. The team is not pushy at all - they encourage you to take charge of your oral health and they provide the tools for you to make the best decision for yourself. They utilize some really cool technology that helps you better understand what's going on and how different procedures or tools can help. I am incredibly grateful and cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Tyler and the entire team at Advanced Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Great experience all around. From the front office to checkout. Appointments are a breeze, no long wait times and I absolutely love My hygienist. She is so knowledgeable and kind. She is also very personable and attentive. After my previous dentist retired I had a hard time finding a new dentist. After trying a few other places and being told I needed over 20k worth of work I came to advanced dentistry for a second opinion only to find out all I needed was a deep cleaning. This should tell you how honest the dentist is. The staff and dentists have gained my full trust. I can happily and confidently say my family has found a new home for dental care. Negative experience: This place literally scammed me, came in for a full cleaning which is covered by my insurance and they charged me $500 out of pocket After doing everything for cleaning- get this- literally only half of my mouth. The staff is only nice enough to get your money

He helped replaced old veneers that made very unhappy, and gave me a smile that will forever make me happy. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and knew what I needed before I could say it. Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for my Invisalign appointments. I’m making great progress and I’m very happy with the service that I’ve received both from the technicians and from Dr. Wylde! I couldn’t be happier. I also see them for my regular dentistry, and they are always proactive to prevent a problem from being a bigger problem.

Negative experience: I had gone here for years and had been with Dr. Dustin Wilde. Since the expansion of the office recently it's all one big sales push. They are currently pushing invisiline aggressively. I was told by Dustin I could get them because a few lower teeth are crooked. I was shocked, I said I never thought my teeth were crooked, and I never once asked about invisiline. In fact I was always grateful to never have needed braces. I asked him directly why I would get invisiline for minor cosmetic treatment when I've explained for the last 6 years that I am not focused on cosmetic needs and need to stick to minimum treatment? He had no good answer, just well uh we can do them for you if you want them. Everytime I brushed my teeth for a week later, all I could think about was how upset I was told be told I can get $7500 invisiline for a slightly crooked smile. Dustin, you are crooked, not my teeth. I got my daughter invisiline at Hurley and Volk on Roselle with a $1500 instant cash coupon and interest free payments in office payment plan. I'll never go back to your office. Stay humble.

Fantastic experience: Extremely friendly and warm environment, always used to get anxious going to the dentist but these guys truly put me at ease!

Negative experience: My first three appointments I was told that my teeth were in excellent condition and that my gums were fine. On my fourth appointment a new hygienist took over my case. She went on and on about how bad my gums were and spent about 10 minutes revising my chart. She then told me I had periodontal disease and that I needed a deep cleaning. I told her that my gums never bleed and I have never had any inflammation or pain. She insisted that I needed it done so I reluctantly agreed. The procedure was done by a hygienist and took about one hour. I was charged $2,458 for this hour. I was subsequently charged an additional $165 per appointment for “periodontal maintenance”. I went to another dentist after this experience and there was no mention about any issues with my gums.

Fantastic experience: I was in town on business and had a crown come loose. I called their office and had an appointment in 2 hours. The entire staff and experience was great. I highly recommend this Dentist office.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t had a great experience with past dental offices and practices but Advanced Dentistry has changed that drastically for me. I went in for a root canal and had an experience with Dr.Tyler Wylde like I’ve never had before.He was very understanding, caring, and knowledgeable on my situation and what needed to be done. Everyone at the office is so friendly and welcoming, it is the only place I’ll ever go to for my dental work and needs. A well deserved 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: I used to treat finding a dentist as a “what’s close to me” exercise. This group is pretty special. I’ve moved several times, they’ve turned over some dentists, but i happily make the 30 min drive to get to them. If all practitioners (MDs, psychologists, psychiatrists, etc) treated their patients like Advanced does, I can honestly say the world would be a better place. I’m an ex smoker. It was not kind on my teeth or gums, and these folks are kind, understanding, nonjudgemental. “High-EQ dentistry.” Get an appointment if you can.

Fantastic experience: I called them at the last minute because I had a toothache! They got me in right away and I can say they took X-rays and it didn't hurt at all, Gabby was very soft-handed when she was doing it. Dr Tyler came in took his time talked over my problem with my mouth and came up with solution. I was so happy, I will be going back. I'm still waiting for my dentist from my office that I originally called to call me back. Everyone was so nice in the front office as well.

Fantastic experience: Very professional, my father and I have been going here for years. I brought my wife and kids as well. My daughter had to get some cavities filled and they were patient with her being a little scared. Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else . I had a crown done here and it was night and day compared to a crown I had done somewhere else. Way better work here. Reasonable pricing also compared to some other places that gouge.

Fantastic experience: This place is outstanding!!! I can’t say enough good things regarding the care I received here. They are honest and don’t overcharge for work that isn’t needed unlike a lot of other dentists. They truly care about you as a patient and the care you receive. I have seen both Dr Wylde’s and you can tell they are really passionate about what they do! I will never see another dentist!

I have the worst dental anxiety ever and Dr Tyler and the hygienist Karolina made me feel so comfortable that I calmed down immediately. I had some gum therapy which sounds terrible but I didn't feel a thing! I am looking forward to my visit with them next week and this is definitely my new dental home!

I have a complicated dental history including phobia but this practice has handled every aspect of my care exceptionally well.

Fantastic experience: As someone who is terrified of going to any dentist because of previous bad and painful experiences, I am beyond thankful for Dr W. He told me from the beginning he was going to give me a new experience and calm the fear. All I can say is wow...did he ever. I had a root canal, cavity fill and strip and replace bonding. It was a good experience all around. It started with his approach and genuine concern for me and ended with the same. The whole team is caring and knowledgeable. 5 stars for sure.

Negative experience: I went to this dentist after seeing their Google reviews, but my experience was extremely disappointing. The moment I walked into the office, they used scare tactics, showing me scans and trying to convince me how bad my teeth supposedly were. For the last 46 years, I’ve only had one cavity, and I’ve always taken good care of my teeth. Despite this, they performed the same cleaning they do for everyone else and told me I needed a deep cleaning. I have excellent corporate insurance, yet I still ended up paying $450 out of pocket for what they called a “general cleaning.” No other services were provided. I also told them about a specific issue I was having—my teeth in the back were touching uncomfortably. They completely ignored my concern and instead tried to sell me $6,000 clear braces. Later, I went to a different dentist, who fixed the issue by grinding one of my teeth for just 10 minutes. That solved the problem, and I paid nothing out of pocket. This experience was absolutely unbelievable. It’s clear this place is more interested in robbing people than actually caring for their patients. The doctor showed no genuine concern for my issues. This place is a scam. Avoid it at all costs!

I have had several dentists over the years & I am so glad I found the team here to care for my family’s dental needs going forward. The vibes upon walking into the office are immaculate & the team did not disappoint. From the people at the front desk, to the techs, to the doctors; they were all so kind & comforting. I had the pleasure of meeting Amy & Dr. Tyler for my visit & both were beyond amazing. Everything was explained to me in so much detail & I left feeling confident about my dental plan & my smile. I was hesitant to try a new dental office but heard great things from a relative, and I'm so glad I tried them out, the entire experience here has been a breath of fresh air. I only wish I started coming here sooner. I've seen Dr Dustin Wylde, he works at a great pace and most importantly is very good at what he does, the best quality dentist I've had. He also has a great personality. The entire staff here is very professional but also pleasant and friendly. Everyone I've come into contact here has been great. They use modern equipment (the way they were able to measure and design my new crown was very cool) I had some vertigo issues after a car accident (which made it hard for me to lay back in the dental chair) and they were very accommodating and did a great job of putting me at ease and working with me. My teeth are far from perfect and they've always been nice about it and have helped me get to a point where I don't mind flashing my smile. Highly recommend. Thanks Dr Wylde and Advanced Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: BEST DENTIST EXPERIENCE EVER! I went on Free Dentistry Day(September 7th) and they had maybe 50 people looking to get dental work right as they opened and they welcomed everyone in so pleasantly and with open arms. I came in for a filling with a bit of nerves just based on previous dental experiences in my life and the Advanced Dentistry completely made me feel calm and taken care of. I left with a new filling as well as instructions on how to care for it moving forward. I currently live out of state but I’m truly considering flying out biannually to make this location my primary dentist! Also, love the fact that there’s a mom and son working together, really brings a family feeling to the overall place. If you’re still deciding to try them out by the end of reading this, GO DO IT! PS: I was done with the filling I posted in the pictures in under an hour!

Fantastic experience: Dr Tyler is great. I have a lot of anxiety and he and his assistant, Gabby helped me thru it all. No judgement! They truly cared about my stress and my comfort. I highly recommend this group. Office staff are also great. Also, the receptionist who is the first person you interact with was also great. Fantastic experience: Excellent experience! Front desk staff very kind, efficient, professional. Hygienist(Kiki sp?) gentle, informative, great educator, and patient friendly. Dr.Tyler provided several options of care, showing a sincere interest in my dental care. Tim S. reviewed insurance coverage carefully with me, and provided detailed explanation of payment/insurance plan. He then gave written financial plan , encouraging questions, and providing answers. Overall experience exceptional. Highly recommend practice.

The doctors are very efficient and approachable. Was hesitant at first, and scared to go back to dentist. But they made the experience pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Excellent place! Excellent care! Dr Tyler and his staff are very friendly and are able to thoroughly explain the produce beforehand and during the procedure. They have an excellent staff and hygienists that also work seemlessly with Dr. Tyler. I’ve been to many dentists in the burbs and Advanced Dentistry is by far the best! My last dentist left me in the middle of my ongoing treatments. She moved further away to Elgin. Dr Tyler was able to take me as a new patient and continue my care happily! Give them a try!

Fantastic experience: 7-8 Just came from the dentist. Had to have another tooth extracted. If you ever need that done, Dr. Tyler Wylde is your man. He removed the tooth intact and gave me plenty of helpful information . Another great experience. Sadly I was there to have my tooth pulled. The staff was great and made the experience as pleasant as possible. Dr. Tyler Wylde took care of me this time and gave me plenty of timely and helpful information all along the way. Both he and his assistant were very encouraging and made me feel well taken care of
