Positive experience: The dental team is actually great, but the front desk staff appears to have changed and are a bit rude. With all the new construction and traffic delays, there should be some consideration of the grace period. I doubt that the cleaning couldn’t be done when I was turned away, but just because they weren’t friendly I wasn’t allowed to get any services done.

Fantastic experience: Full transparency here, I do not like going to the dentist. I never have. Having said that I have been with this practice for about a year now. They are kind and compassionate and offer pain-free dentistry, which is really big for me. I have had to have a fair amount of work done help, and have a bit more pending. It is such a comfort to have estimates of the work done. The team runs the work through the insurance company so you know. Pretty darn close to the penny, what you're out of pocket expense is going to be. That really helps with budgeting. My only complaint is there does seem to be a lot of UM decor. Next time I have an appointment, I will need to take some green and white to balance out the waiting room

And of course, over the decades, the entire Parkside Team has been the picture of perfection. Fantastic experience: I've only had my 1st visit and initial consultation but I'm impressed so far. They were very gentle and gave me several options to choose from in regards to corrective plans moving forward. I've had horrible experiences with dentists in the past, but I feel good about this decision and look forward to not only getting my smile back but also being able to dine in public without embarrassment. I felt like they cared and that seems extremely hard to find now days. They also expressed desire in wanting to get the most benefit available from my insurance instead of just using up my yearly on one tooth. If anything changes, I'll update, but I'm hoping I won't need to. If you're looking for a new, caring dental office, give Parkside a try.

Fantastic experience: I was having pain, and fortunately, had an appointment for a teeth cleaning. Doctor Sam Cohen checked my teeth, and he was able to immediately get me in for a root canal and a crown. Throughout my cleaning and dental work, the team worked so well together, seamless handoff. I could tell there was great communication among the team. Dr Cohen explained everything throughout the appointment. I was even able to see the tooth crack that was causing my pain via a digital photo of my tooth.

Fantastic experience: The Team were so professional from the front dest to the Doctor, very loving and respectful. Their billings far better than many places I've ever been. Fantastic experience: Had a tooth that felt like something broke off of it. I was able to get an appointment within 2 days. I needed a root canal. I was able to get it done same day. Nitrous was a huge benefit. Like most people in not a fan of dental work. Friendly staff. Very pleased.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many dentists in the Detroit area... Its hard to find a "perfect" dentist ... many of them JUDGE you... Many of them want your MONEY! Parkside made me feel comfortable and did NOT judge my teeth I actually walked out smiling for ONCE! ... It is so easy for people to judge... I had the perfect teeth growing up... Then I had kids.. I am a single mother of 4... My kiddos come before me!!!! And now they need a little TLC but hey I went to them and explained my past experience with the dentist and they both understood and LISTENED!. SO a BIG thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: I am again re-writing a review to apologize and correct an error about my experience at Parkwood Dental that should have been Parkside Dental Team located at 36444 Warren Road in Westland Michigan. I was greeted and welcomed by a friendly check-in team at the reception desk and noticed how they greeted and treated their patients.. I was looking for a new dental team since my former dental family no longer accepted my insurance. I have passed Parkside Dental many times and actually stopped in for a consultation about a couple of years ago with, i believe it might have been Doctor Steven Cohen or Dr. Daniel Rogers, and was very pleased and impressed by his concern and professionalism. I mentioned to the doctor that I would be back if I decided to look for another dentist so here I am. I didn't expect that I would be able to get an appointment right away but did the following day. I was due for a teeth cleaning and the hygienist, Ashley, was thorough and gentle with cleaning my teeth. She has great bedside manners and made me feel at ease. I informed her in some areas my gums are highly sensitive, but she took care of that right away by giving applying a numbing compound. Well that reduced the "fear factor" I was experiencing that resulted in no pain, so that made me a happy camper. I appreciate the dentist who came in to examine me after I got my teeth cleaned who gave much needed information that he addressed. I guess I'm sold on being a patient of the Parkside Dental Team, so to all of you who are looking for a team who will take care of your dental needs while at the same time making you feel at home, come on down to Parkside to become a family member.
