Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say Dr. McDuffee is truly a wonderful dentist. Just had seen him for a check up recently as a new patient and I broke a piece of my tooth. He got me right in today. Took outstanding care of me as well as the hygienist. Definitely worth leaving a review for the care attention they showed me today. If you are scared of the dentist or need a new dentist, he's great and very gentle. Thanks so much Advance Dentistry! ❤️

Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend this practice AT ALL because they do not know how to explain or educate their patients on basic procedures and the numbers of the scans to you so they just charge you for what you came in for on top of services you didn’t discuss or want scheduled. I came in for a major cavity in one tooth and they deceived me to schedule me for a minor cavity elsewhere and a basic cleaning costing over $140 even with insurance. They did not listen to my Chief complaint as a patient so avoid this place.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional staff. Warm, friendly and caring. Very well managed practice. Dr. Sayre is a very skilled dental surgeon. Using the most advanced technology in dental implants. And he is a perfectionist. Highly recommend him.

Negative experience: Don’t go there . I was overcharged for a veneer. My insurance covers 50% of the cost, but they claimed it “didn’t take” just to make a profit. It’s disappointing because they seem more focused on money than on quality care or honesty. They might be getting new clients, but not returning ones. I’ll never come back!

Fantastic experience: My regular dentist couldn't see me in a timely fashion. I was able to get in Advance Denistry The day after I called. The work they did was outstanding. I have a new dentist!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Advance for several years. They truly live up to their pledge of “No Fear Dentistry.” They are the best! 8/11/23-a follow up - got my first ever crown today (in my 50’s) Dr. Goebel single-handedly has fully restored my faith in dentistry. It was a bad childhood for dentistry and she has such a great disposition and demeanor and gentle touch. Thank you all. I’m sorry I do not remember all names of those I met. Mikhaila assisted Dr G and Alice cleaned my teeth and administered the novocaine. Excellent job at both! Thank you all so much for changing my dental life thoughts and helping me get better at caring about it! You truly have helped more than words can say. 10/8/25-I went again today for my semi-annual cleaning. Meghan did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Hanahan checked up on me afterwards. Both are continuing great examples of why I love this practice!

Can’t believe how caring and helpful the staff were. Due to upcoming surgery they will finish the crown this week, taking away a huge concern.

The staff work as a team and I get in and out of appointments very efficiently never have to wait long. The front staff and administrative staff are very courteous. I highly recommend this office and competent team of professionals.

Fantastic experience: It is a calming friendly place. I had a fear of dentists for many years. I came there with some problems. They used sedation dentistry & my problems were fixed. My hygienist Leesa puts me at ease and does a gentle job at keeping my teeth their cleanest and best. I won't go to anyone but her. She is amazing!

That chair looked like a torture chair instead of a chair that will put me on a path to a happy and healthy dental hygiene. Advance Dentistry has changed all of this for me. Fantastic experience: Phenomenal experience with truly compassionate people. From scheduling the first appointment, to being walked through every step of the appointment with a gentle tone, to the final scheduling - everything is well-thought out and prepared. This is truly a No Fear dental office. They don't judge you and are there to get you back on track with your dental health. The entire visit today took away SO much of my anxiety! I didn't think I would leave laughing, but they made sure of it. Excellent office, outstanding people. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good about this place. I was originally recommended here by a coworker to have my wisdom teeth pulled. I was nervous and they explained step by step what was going to happen. They were calm and when I was getting my iv I started panicking and the nurse talked to me so calmly and quietly and really helped relieve any anxiety. That was a year ago and I am still coming back here for general cleanings and needs. The team here is so kind and really want to help. They don't make you feel bad for having anxiety about dentistry and will go slow and truly help you along the way. I highly recommend Advance Dentistry to everyone!

Over the past 8 years, we worked together to get rid of bad teeth, fill gaps, straighten, whiten and boost my confidence. I love Dr. Hanahan. We have truly built a great relationship over the years. Positive experience: All staff were professional & provided a care plan of dental care that needs to be completed.However,the cost of the sedation is cost prohibited especially since Medicare doesn’t cover at least the IV sedation.I knew the dental work was partially covered by dental insurance but the sedation alone for one administration was more than the entire years worth of coverage from the insurance.

Fantastic experience: Prior to coming here I hadn't been to a dentist in far too long. I had a horrible experience that left me pretty fearful of dentists but after all of suggestions from friends and ads for "anxiety-free dentistry" I decided to give it a shot and I am thrilled with the level of care and patience I have received here. I have also never felt judged, which was another concern based on the time since my last visit. I've got to a point where I honestly look forward to my cleanings. Would recommend this business to anyone who has ever had a bad experience with a dentist but wants to reclaim their dental health!

Fantastic experience: Been going here for years, about a decade. Met with different dentists and had different hygienists and with one exception a few years ago - literally a single appointment in all that time - I've never had a negative experience. I have had fillings and we did a consult for a crown - tooth fell apart before we could get that fixed (a dentist in another city broke it). We discussed options and expectations and costs. When I've had questions, they've answered them. They explain what they're doing and why if you need them to. I can't speak to the fear some have of the dentist - my childhood dentist was amazing so I never had that fear - but knowing what to expect does wonders for easing your mind.

Fantastic experience: Megan was my Hygienist today and as always was very friendly and did a great professional job. Caitlin was the assistant - also very friendly and did a great job getting me set up for my dental cleaning. There is a very skilled, professional office here. You will not find better technology or skilled, friendly staff!

Positive experience: Wow. How can I explain this properly? Well, I spent 3 days in a row there this week. I am certainly glad I did but somewhat disappointed that the third day I did. From the beginning, the staff were sweet, helpful and caring. The first visit I was free, which was great news, and the exam and xrays was explained exceptionally. My care plan was given to me and I even got antibiotics to treat my sinus infection that was causing the pain that started my appointment to be scheduled with them. The second day was my cleaning. The hygienist was great. She was personable and caring as well. My third day was today. I received two fillings. I was offered sedation in my first visit during the care plan but I declined since I've never used this before and thought it would be fine. I'm 47 years old, so I've had many years of experience going to the dentist. I also was a dental assistant in my 20"s so, I thought I could handle this without spending extra money for comfort. Either, I was wrong or it was just a bad day. My check-in was as expected, with staff, being prompt and kind. When I was taken back for treatment of my fillings, the main assistant was pleasant but busy with a trainee so, I sat there several minutes feeling alone. The dentist came in and gave me my numbing injection and was quickly out without saying much. I didn't think much of her rushing in and out, bc I know I'm not their only patient, but when my procedure was in process, my anxiety began. I believe a dental assistant was being trained, but I was not notified of it, which gave me my initial anxiety. Then, my sinuses starting acting up, which they were treating me for, so being tilted back as I had to be for dentist to have proper vision of a molar tooth, I felt sinus drainage and felt the need for more suction or swallowing. Obviously, causing me discomfort and requests to stop for more suction and when I was told to lets just get through this, I'm sure for my comfort, but still hard to hear, made me feel more anxious because of being uncomfortable, I was taken care of well by staff when I finally got a real break from the situation and got to sit up and have a moment to clear my throat. They also made sure I was medically okay by checking my vitals so, when I was cleared to continue, we did so. There was mention, that since I take nightly medication for my anxiety condition, that I should make morning appointments so I don't have all day to think about a dental procedure. That made total sense but since that was the most she had spoke to me about and it was end of the visit, I felt that I hadn't starting building a patient doctor relationship. As the doctor was leaving I mentioned I couldn't bite down properly and the doctor showed frustrated with the assistants when my lower left tooth hadn't been marked in the notes that it needed a final check for smoothing out roughness as the top right had been completed. Departing, I teared up feeling embarrassed and disappointed in my third day's appointment. The most comforting moment I had in today's experience was when an angel of one of the assistants who took my hand and softly held it as my anxiety peeked as I heard others in the room discussing the whereabouts of squeeze objects and hugging pillows that they hadn't prepared for. I'm so glad I got to thank that sweet young girl personally before I left my room.

Negative experience: Would not recommend will charge for procedure they do not complete then will cancel your appointment without text call or email. Very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: I had two wisdom teeth removed. I was a little sore the evening of the procedure but no pain the next day or for the rest of recovery. They did a great job of explaining the procedure and the sedation they were going to use. I highly recommend anyone who needs a tooth extraction to consider Advanced Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: The staff is AWESOME! They made sure I was comfortable the whole time while getting root canal. I definitely would recommend this location. Lynn even made sure my lips lol was moisturize as we know your lips can get chap during procedure. Dr.White explain every step of what was being and answered ALLL of my questions. Negative experience: My daughter had a root canal. They apparently had decided to go out of network 28 days before her procedure, and neglected to tell us. Now we paid a ton of money we didn't have to. Their billing is outrageously high. I'm angry that they don't inform you they're no longer in network after years of being in network. I feel like I was robbed. Very disgusted.

Fantastic experience: Like a some people, I am absolutely terrified of the dentist. It had been 30+ years and needless to say I had a lot of broken/ missing teeth. It's extremely embarrassing but I felt very comfortable and not judged at all. The first visit was free and extremely thorough. Dr White was able to tell me exactly what needed done and Victoria made the insurance side of the process very easy and understandable. She provided me with many different financing options. The day of my surgery my anxiety was through the roof. I was given nitrous, the IV was inserted and I woke up at my friend's house. Felt nothing, remember nothing, everything gone and stitched up. Dr White and her staff were incredible. They truly care. After 30 years I can not wait to be able to smile again.

Negative experience: I remember coming here a while ago, I was told I absolutely needed a root canal and there was no other options. They wanted like $5000 after maxing out my insurance. Went to another dentist and they said I was fine and wasn’t even close to needing a root canal. I’d stay away from here at all costs.

Negative experience: Had a 3:30 appointment. I showed up 30min prior to my appointment. They call two other patients before me. With the same appointment time. I the environment was clean. I didn’t like that I had to wait last. Iykyk.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience following a routine cleaning in June that caused significant sensitivity in one of my teeth. When I reached out to the office for help, I was met with delays, dismissiveness, and unprofessional behavior from both the staff and the dentist I saw. My concerns were not taken seriously, and here I am six months later, still dealing with persistent and painful sensitivity. Clearly, something more was going on, and their unwillingness to address it has left me feeling unheard and frustrated. While this office has many positive reviews, I strongly encourage them to improve how they handle follow-up care and patient concerns to ensure every patient feels valued.

Negative experience: Stay far away from this practice. They over charge and underdeliver. They have packed cubicles full of equipment to push patients in and out of their office. You would be lucky to get 5 minutes of face to face with the dentist per visit. I had a root canal done here and they completely butchered it. There’s gaps in the area and now I have to get it redone by a professional. Not to mention, my dentist in downtown Chicago charges 50% less than a Cincinnati suburban “practice” for fillings. Places like this are a perfect example of unethical business practices in the medical industry. I’m writing this review with hopes to notify potential patients before they trust a sweatshop style dental practice like this. Do your research and choose a better option.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at the Fairfax location for over 3 years. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The office is clean, modern, and well-equipped, which adds to the overall positive experience. I also love that they use the latest technology, making routine procedures quick and efficient. Dr. Elizabeth Goebel, DMD " Dr. G." is fantastic. She takes the time to discuss my dental health in detail. Her expertise and genuine care for her patients are evident. I leave my appointments feeling well-informed and confident about my dental care plan.

Negative experience: Customer service is great up until your treatment. Afterwards, just forget about it. Get everything you need from them in writing and up front. I got my wisdom teeth removed last Wednesday- everything was smooth until the weekend. I called to get the first appointment available on Monday due to severe pain. They gave me a syringe and sent me on my way. No medicine, nothing to alleviate the pain for now. Revisited for no reason. Poor communication on whether revisits are needed or not. Also, I was supposed to get 4 teeth removed but only ended up getting 3 removed on surgery day. They said nothing about it a refund until I mentioned it. Let’s see how long that takes to get back. Based on prior reviews, the refund process is a hot mess. They just want your money!!

Fantastic experience: I always had a fear of going to the dentist. A couple of years ago i went to a local dentist for a filling. They tried to talk me into having all my teeth pulled. Recently having severe tooth pain, i researched Advance Dentistry. My first visit was promising and the staff were very professional. So on this Friday i had 2 Wisdom Teeth pulled. The pain wasn't as bad as it was on my first visit. I would strongly suggest going to the location as they took me out of the misery i put for so long. Thanks so so much for doing what you do Best!!

Fantastic experience: I have been to many dentist's in my time and now that I am a senior on medicare I have chosen this dentist office over others that are on my insurance plan causing me to self pay All charges myself But it is worth it because of: professional friendly staff, expert care and No Upsell or procedures not needed. The office is run like a well oiled machine.

Negative experience: Awaiting relief from a root canal problem that has me in severe pain. They can’t see me for 72 hours. While they prescribed an antibiotic, nothing is available for pain with which I cannot function. Can’t work; can’t sleep. I’m left to the Bushmills Irish pain management program. I almost never ask for pain meds and I don’t do the sedation. If I’m asking, it’s bad. Instead of an Rx so I can sleep, it’ll be whiskey-soaked cotton balls all weekend. I’m desperate, and I resent being left to suffer by people I trusted. OTC meds aren’t working and they hurt my stomach. I wish I had not gotten this root canal.

Positive experience: Communication not great. Was told I'd get a prescription prior, had to call several times to get that. Saw the actual dentist very little, he was dismissive and in a rush. Never got full name, just "Dr. H". After 10 days of a bulky temp crown, I called. The crown was in, no one called to tell me. When I asked why, no one could tell me.

Fantastic experience: They’re thorough and effective while being gentle. I’ve never experienced anything but friendliness from the entire staff, including front-desk, hygienists, and dentists. I used to dread going to the dentist, but now I realize it doesn’t have to be a scary experience! As long as I’m in Cincinnati, I will never go anywhere else for my dental care!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to a handful of dentists and this one is by far the best. The entire staff is friendly and professional, from the receptionists to the hygienists to the dentists they all make the experience great. The dentist is very thorough and knows what she is doing. The fact they also perform orthodontist work is a major plus as well and I couldn’t be happier with the work with my apicoectomy. I will be a lifetime customer!

Negative experience: The staff was polite and professional but when I told them I don’t want IV Sedation just numb me up and pull my tooth. They never called to set it up. I tried twice but they never called me back to set up an appointment. I’m assuming it’s because without the IV Sedation they don’t make as much money but it’s ok because I went to Aspen Dental and got it all taken care of at a fraction of the cost.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience at Advance Dentistry on Wooster Pike once again. Unlike many, I’m someone that gets some decent anxiety when my dentist appointment comes up. Now I’ve been working with Lisa for maybe 7-8 years now and can say she is a HUGE reason why I’m such a happy client. Always in a good mood but more than that, Lisa truly cares about how you’re feeling both mentally and physically. And no doubt others at Advanced Dentistry (Wooster Pike) are the same … but to me Lisa is just exceptional. I would absolutely recommend Advance Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I had been fearful of the dentist for years since I was a child, but i have been coming here for just over two years now and I can truly say that fear is gone. Everyone here is so kind, encouraging, and gentle. The past several teeth cleanings I have had here have been truly painless. My experience with Margo really stood out today. I left with that great feeling where you can’t stop touching your teeth with your tongue because they feel so clean, yet there was not one moment where I winced, felt any pain, or had bleeding gums from pokes or the water pik. I never thought I’d actually look forward to my next cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I'm as big a sissy as there is when it comes to the dentist but Dr. Donaldson is by far the best dentist I've ever had work on my teeth. Her and her sssistants are very professional and give you a feeling of comfort and support which I need very much when I'm in a dentist chair.The only place I'll even think of going is Advance Dentistry. Fantastic experience: I personally visit the Fairfax location. Both dentists I’ve seen and the entire staff is top notch. They worked around my crazy schedule to get me in and pushed for me to receive my permanant crown before vacation. I hate going to the dentist but when I have to, this is where I recommend going! They really care about their patients
