Fantastic experience: Dental Hygienist, Maggie, was very professional. She operates to keep me very calm and informs me of everything while she is doing her work. I appreciated Dr. Whiting checking my teeth and X-rays thoroughly and efficiently after my cleaning. I will be seeing them again for my scheduled 6 month dental check-up.

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth cleaned. Hygienist was great, gentle next Dr west examined my teeth. Discussed the possibility of replacing a crown. Explained why. At check out I was given an estimate on the cost of that procedure along with an estimate of what my insurance would allow. Nice office, very pleasant

Fantastic experience: Dr. Whiting is an excellent dentist! Very good at what he does and you can just tell he takes pride in his work and cares about doing a great job. He even called me later to make sure everything was fine and gave me his cell # in case I had any problems. The office staff are great as well. I finally found one that I'm happy to call "my dentist". 11/20/2025 Update: Not only is Dr. Whiting the best but I have to add that the hygienist is amazing as well! She is skilled, knowledgeable and personable and is doing great at getting my gums and teeth, which I had let go pretty bad, back in decent shape. Also the front desk staff is great! I love this whole office and feel lucky to have them!

Fantastic experience: My wife reached out to Dr Rice on a Saturday afternoon to ask if he would be willing to fix a tooth I had cracked the night before while eating popcorn. It was cutting my tongue and causing a lot of discomfort. He responded within an hour and willingly met me at the clinic, even though he was trying to prepare for a two-week out of town work assignment. It turned out to be a broken crown, which he removed and replaced with a temporary until he returns in two weeks. Always the best care and unbelieveable service! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Fantastic experience: Great Staff, went in for a bad toothache. Office staff was great for me into the schedule found out I had an abcessed tooth and was given antibiotics to start the process to fix it.

Fantastic experience: I'm very pleased with the service I've received at this office. I've seen both Dr. Rice and Dr. West and would recommend them both. D.Dr. Rice is very gentle about his work and take great effort to insure that he does not cause any pain while performing any procedure. The office staff is cordial and helpful. The dental hygienists perform are friendly and perform their services in an effective and timely manner. I have found no problems with any staff in the number of years that I have been going to them.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't ask for a better visit to a dental office. Dental offices are typically not a place of comfort, but everyone at this office makes me feel comfortable. Genuinely kind and welcoming staff that doesn't feel fake. Can tell my hygienist, Nicole, genuinely cares about her patients. Probably the best cleaning I've ever had! Wouldn't go to any other office.

Fantastic experience: I needed a crown and some fillings replaced. They made the crown on site and under two hours later I was out the door. Dr. Keith West and his staff were very friendly and professional. The Dr. followed up with me that night just to make sure I was felling good. I will be back for all my dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Nicole is an amazing hygienist and the care at Advanced Dental is always top notch. The Wife and I enjoy being under the care of Dr. West who is excellent as well as being very patient focused. And the front office went above and beyond recently to resolve an insurance claim for work recommended by an oral surgeon, not at Advanced Dental. Centrally located, easy to access and park at, voluminous waiting room- Highly Recommended!

Fantastic experience: Using new technology I left with a crown that looked exactly like the tooth it replaced and the color was dead on in a couple of hii ok urs in and out!!! They found a discrepancy in my account. I paid for a service not rendered two years ago. Dr. West noticed it and was honest and mentioned it. We worked out an equitable arrangement. That’s why I will always go to Dr. West. His integrity is way above what I have experienced in the past

Fantastic experience: After moving to Show Low, I was nervous about changing my dentist after 20 years, but I feel comfortable now. The staff was curtious, helpful and gentle. The Hygenist and Dentist were very caring and answered any questions I may have have. I also recently had two old crowns replaced and Dr. Whiting and his assistant did a great job. Very caring.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Whiting is THE best. He’s careful, genuine and kind, and makes you feel comfortable as his patient. The front desk staff are amazing, and KIND. I got the privilege of meeting one of their Hygienists for the first time today, Mandy (didn’t get her last name) for a deep cleaning and she did such an excellent job of it and explained everything along the way and never once made me feel embarrassed for the condition of my teeth. I want to say that this clinic is one of the best, and all of the staff are so amazing. I will be loyally sticking with this clinic for as long as possible. Keep up the excellent work/customer service!

Fantastic experience: Check in process was smooth and the front desk ladies were kind and professional. Dr Whiting and his assistant Griffin did a great job replacing a crown I had broke. The process was faster than I expected and I had no soreness after. Will be returning.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit last week. I was struck by how clean the parking lot and exterior of the office was. The office was very welcoming and the front desk staff very friendly and seemed “happy to be there” Hmmm? I had my teeth cleaned by Nicole - very professional and thorough. Fantastic experience: Every person I interacted with was pleasant at Advanced Dental Care. Upon arrival the young lady at check in was very sweet. The young man who took my X-rays was so kind. I wish I knew everyone's name... Chad, the dentist, was great at explaining my options and made me feel comfortable. I ended up scheduling a cleaning and they had an opening the next day. The young lady that cleaned my teeth did a fabulous job and was funny and sweet. I'm really impressed with all of them. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Whiting is such a kind & reassuring dentist. I had a terrible experience with my dentist of 2 years in Show Low. My former dentist of 33 yeas in Phoenix did such excellent work. I was ready to return to him. Fortunately a friend I trust recommended Advance Dentisty. Their diagnostic tools are stellar. I knew immediately after my assessment by Dr.Whiting I would receive excellent care. One crown down , 6 to go. All replacements , ages old & crumbling. Dr.Whiting is a fact giver & in no way pushes for procedures. He left the ball in my court. So grateful I don't need to go to dentist in the Valley. Dr. Whiting is that goog in my book.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for squeezing me in yesterday. I had terrible tooth pain and found out that I need a root canal. I am on the mend now. Keith West is a terrific dentist!

Fantastic experience: Went in for a cleaning but had been experiencing a problem with a tooth for a couple weeks. Dr West had me come in the next day, he tooth old cap off and determined the tooth was not savable. He pulled tooth right then. I was little sore first night but all is going well now.

Fantastic experience: Had to replace a filling. Dr. Whiting was very gentle because I told him I am worse than a kidwhen it comes to needles in my mouth. His assistant first numbed me with medicine and I think a q tip.After 5 or 10 minutes Dr. Whiting came in to give me the dreaded needle. I held on to the arms of the chair, closed my eyes and waited for pain. He talked to me and was very gentle and believe it or not I never felt that needle. Him and his assistant were great and made me very happy. My tooth looks great and thank you Dr.Whiting and his assistant. Maybe now I will not have anxiety thinking about dentists.

Fantastic experience: The dental assistant who did my cleaning was so fun and friendly, made it into less of a chore. Dr. Whiting is friendly and kind and answers all your questions without making you feel dismissed.

Fantastic experience: Dr West offers treatment options (with his recom mended method) for complex dental problems. He tends to underestimate his own Work- this visit involved tough decision- Implant vs. Crown after Root Canal. I like to preserve what I can of my birth dentition- the resultant tooth build up and crown feels rock solid- believe it will last till I pass.

Fantastic experience: To start, I was taken in at my exact appointment time. Then I had the most amazing hygienist, Shelby. She listened to me and was very gentle, especially since my teeth are very sensitive. Then Dr Rice and Shelby explained my cleaning plan very thoroughly. As much as I don’t like going to the dentist, I’m looking forward to having them save my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Previously utilized another dental practice in town that was not open Fri- Monday…. Did not realize … their schedule and had no secondary on call back up plan .Had severe toothache pain that radiated to my palate and ear drum practice was able to work me in and Dr Rice had wonderful examination techniques and very good understanding/communication skills they have acquired 2 new patients Very Thankful!!

Fantastic experience: I've now seen Dr.West 2 Days in a row. Yesterday, to discuss an issue that had arisen a couple of weeks ago causing me pain, and today after my cleaning which I was able to schedule yesterday. Dr. West listened to my concerns and explanations and left me feeling reassured. Then today I saw Shelby for a cleaning. She was thorough, gentle and very personable. I can't speak highly enough of Dr West, Shelby, Nicole and the front office staff at Advanced Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Keith West for many years however have seen all the DDS there at one time or another. They are all terrific and Shelby, she is just amazing! I have a great smile and healthy gums thanks to Advanced Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: Dr West is very concerned that you do not feel any pain. I had a crown and it was no pain. It did take an extra shot, but no pain. Kim is wonderful too. I love the tv monitors where you can watch the ocean and fish. I am ready to go to the Virgin Islands now.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Advanced Dental Care with Dr. Whiting and staff. The office was friendly and comfortable. Everyone had great personalities. I’d even go as far as to say, I really enjoyed myself. The work on my teeth came out perfect, and I’d fully trust Dr. Whiting with all my dental care. He and his assistant were professional, knowledgeable, and I absolutely trusted their recommendations.

Fantastic experience: If you need dental work, and want it to be top-notch and to be treated with care and respect, look no further. Dr. Whiting is the best dentist I've ever had. He is super patient and does a fantastic job, taking his time and doing everything he can to make sure you're happy. The staff is awesome too...the nicest people I've ever dealt with just about anywhere. Even when my insurance company was late - very late - paying my bill, their concern was only for what I had to go through in dealing with them. I recommended Dr. Whiting to my friend, who has a LOT of anxiety when it comes to dentists, but after being treated by Dr. Whiting for cavities, he has no more anxiety and is looking forward to getting more dental work done from him! - As am I!

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal (unplanned) and crown done yesterday. Everything took 4.5 hours to do and Dr. Whiting so patient and kind. I told him and the staff that I had anxiety and didn’t have very good luck with the dentist and the whole staff when above and beyond. Love their staff.
