Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for about 5 years. Doctor Miller is one of the best dentists I've ever had. He's a very humble veteran and based on his level of skill, he's probably seen it all. Doc is also a perfectionist, so he is super careful with his work. They do use outside services for oral surgery and more complicated root canals, but those local offices were also great.

Fantastic experience: Simona was the best hygienist. Not only are my teeth very white, but she recognized a gum issue that I had been having for several months. After cleaning the gum and adding an antibiotic patch, the situation resolved in 2-3 days. Thank you Simona.

Fantastic experience: I have had a great experience with this dental practice from the dentist to the caring hygienists. The cleanings and diagnostic X-rays are done with gentle care. Dr. Miller has made a great effort to restore my teeth after many years of use. The crowns and fillings he gave me have all fit perfectly. He is very efficient in the way he works the dental issues I had.

Negative experience: While I desperately wanted the Dental Care of West Melbourne office to be my regular dentist, it sadly did not work out. I am a student in Florida which makes my insurance a bit tricky. I was up front with the office about this. I even called through my insurance company to make my dentist appointment to ensure they accepted my insurance and had all the information they needed. After completing 2 visits, I realized they had not been billing my insurance properly. I had been charged outside of my network and, therefore, over charged. I figured it would be easily resolved and completed my third appointment as well. The third appointment confirmed they did, in fact, take my insurance because this was the one and only visit they charged my insurance properly and it was in network. I wasn’t even angry at this point. I just wanted them to make it right. However, I called numerous times. My insurance company called them numerous times. It became clear this office had no interest in charging me properly. It’s a shame too. The staff were kind and welcoming. They just need to train their coder and biller more efficiently or at least not overcharge patients and not correct their mistake.

The receptionists were very polite and were of great help to me in processing my payment and setting up my next appointment.

Positive experience: I am really appreciative that I was able to get an appointment to have my chipped tooth fixed. I was a little disappointed that I was left sitting in the chair for 45 minutes before the dentist came in to work on my tooth. Fortunately, it was a really quick fix.

When you book an appointment with them, I always get right in and if I do have to wait it’s less than five minutes. The facility is spotless and the dental staff is very meticulous. Fantastic experience: I had an emergency with severe pain. They saw me within 2 hours of calling them. Everyone was amazing…. Intake personnel , Assistants , Dentist & financial associate. I got compassionate care & their financial person found me insurance covage I never knew I had attached to my Medicare Advantage plan. It was incredibly comforting that everyone in the office actually cared!!!

Fantastic experience: I can honestly say they understand patient care. The entire staff that I interacted with were so very kind. I struggle with very bad anxiety. Not a mild case but a pretty bad case of anxiety and panic attacks. Even without this I’ve always been afraid to visit the dentist office. A few bad experiences and I just stopped going. I believe I finally found a dentist office that I feel comfortable and safe. They listened, made sure I was comfortable, weren’t forceful, treated me with so much respect and truly seemed to care. They took care of my issue (even offered me different options to allow me to choose what I would be the most comfortable with doing). This gave me the courage to allow them to proceed with the removal of my tooth and they checked on me all throughout the procedure. I wish I could remember their names. I was so anxious I do not recall. Both ladies were amazing at what they do. They are definitely in the right professions and I’m so relieved not only from my tooth pain but to have found a dental office that I can trust again. The facility is also very nice and clean… one of the things that is important to me with anxiety is windows and natural light. I was in a room that had windows which also helps with my anxiety. I did not feel like I was in a hospital. I will be returning in April for a full exam and dental plan and I hope that I will be treated by these ladies again. They have earned my trust and I’m already recommending this dentist to my family members and friends.

Simona was one of the best hygienists I've ever had. Thorough exams, gentle cleanings, professional dentist and ultra clean office. I'd recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: Claudia, the hygenist, repeated jammed a corner of the x ray holder into the roof of my mouth. She ignored and did not reply the first time. The second time, I tried to avoid it by backing my head up and was blocked by the headrest. Claudia made it clear that I was being difficult. A seven week appointment was made to clean the left side. Should I just make a 4 month appointment? Then you would clean the teeth every 8 months?

Fantastic experience: Wonderful service! My 7 year old son had his cleaning done and the hygienist was absolutely amazing with him explaining everything she was doing going over cost before doing anything and even letting him help with the suction. Overall wonderful experience with all of the staff!

Positive experience: I got there 5 min early and was taken back 35 min after my appointment time - and - literally after everyone who came in after me. My previous dentist was extremely punctual. They had 7 am appointments. I knew they would take me back at 7; I knew I would be there exactly one hour. I was working Home Health at that time so I knew EXACTLY when to schedule my first Pt of the day. When my SO asked how it went, I told him what happened. He said “yah, they’re like that (late) all the time.” I realize “things happen”, but people have other places they need to be. Maybe improve scheduling and be considerate of their jobs and responsibilities too - picking up kids, etc? Also I know the pros and cons of water cleaning. I’m just not sure the pros outweigh the cons. I got an excellent cleaning from an excellent tech.

Fantastic experience: I was seen on time. The dental assistant, Bettina, was welcoming and friendly. She did a quick look-see, then did x-rays and a couple of tests. She noted the results for Dr. Miller. When he came in, he too was welcoming and friendly. He explained what he thought the problem was, offered to show me the x-rays, then pointed out and explained what his suspicions were and why. But here's the best part: two items, each very simple, yet to me very important. First, at no time did I feel rushed. Many times in medical/dental offices I have felt like they just wanted to deal with me and move on as quickly as possible, but not here. Both Bettina and Dr. Miller took their time, explained things to me, and answered any questions. Second, I was never pressured to sign up for expensive procedures (which I may or may not actually need), as has happened as several other dental offices. Rather, Dr. Miller up front stated that he believed I needed a referral to an endodontist, Bettina prepared a referral reference sheet, the insurance statement for the visit was shown and explained to me, and I was on my way. On-time, friendly, professional, not rushing or pushy - how could I reasonably have asked for anything else?

I was in so much pain and they got to work right away pulling 4 teeth with no pain and I was out and on my way quick . This is the definition of a great team . They were the best at getting me worked in and helping me get signed up for things to help me with payments. Super nice, sweet staff! I definitely will continue to go even without insurance. Positive experience: Great as usual, but unfortunately it took a long time for the doctor to see me after my cleaning due to complications with another patient. These things happen, but it would be good to have a backup plan for such events.

Fantastic experience: I have recently switched to Dental Care of West Melbourne as my previous dentist no longer accepts insurance. I have not had any procedures. However, I've had a major cleaning and a follow up. My new Dental hygienist, Claudia is exceptional. Both caring and thorough. I look forward to continuing with these folks.

Fantastic experience: The biggest, cleanest, most professional and trustworthy dental office in Brevard County. It smells nice, it looks nice, the people are nice. I've never waited more than a few minutes in the waiting room. All the hygienists are very pleasant and competent. Dr. Miller is patient, well-educated, and cares about his patients. 100% recommend.

Negative experience: Updating my review - do not use this office. I was willing to let the rest go (showing up for appointments and no one being there to take me after I took off work and drove over an hour to get there, reporting me to collections because they decided to charge more that wasn't included in the quote long after I had confirmation that I was paid in full, etc.) but they did such a horrible job on my crown that I'm now going to lose a tooth that will leave a visible gap when I smile. The crown originally did not fit, they re-did it, and the new one also did not fit but at that point they refused to fix it and just shoved it on. My new dentist said he is very sorry I received such sub-par work, but because they left such a large gap he will have to pull the tooth, as there is no saving it. I'm devastated and at this point feel its necessary to warn anyone that may be considering going to this office.

Fantastic experience: I had a broken tooth with an old filling in it. As a person who had not visited this office before, I was given a reasonably quick appointment. I was able to complete all forms online in the comfort of my home. To my surprise they not only assessed the problem, but were very proactive. I walked out with a repaired tooth and a temporary crown after my initial appointment! I couldn't have been more pleased!

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t seen a dentist in quite a while, and so I was a little apprehensive, but that all changed as soon as I walked in the door. I was taken in very quickly and met my hygienist Candrin who made me feel relaxed from the get-go. She was very thorough and took extensive sets of x-rays screenings, etc. when it came to the cleaning, she was meticulous yet very gentle. I had quite a bit of tartar buildup, and she double checked to make sure that she removed it all. My dentist, Dr. Miller was also very approachable and answered all of my questions. The entire staff that I came in contact with were extremely professional, friendly, and made me feel right at ease. I highly recommend Dental Care of West Melbourne!

Fantastic experience: Dental Care of West Melbourne is an excellent choice for dental health. I have been going to them for over 4 years and the treatment and care has been absolutely wonderful. Dr. Miller and my hygienist Simone are always straight with me and concerned about my health and well being. Dr. Miller repaired a broken crown that was done years before at another practice and not correctly. He was not happy with it and did the work for free! I have read other reviews about them being pricey and some other complaints but I will continue to use them with the quality of care I am receiving. Worth the price and more.

Fantastic experience: A couple things have sold me on this office. They can get all three of my kids in at the same appointment time, because they have enough staff. The front office staff are kind and communicative. They let me know upfront how much everything costs. When my kid had a cavity filled, the doc did a fantastic job at explaining the process which really eased her anxiety. He asked her what she needed and accommodated accordingly. The hygienists are so good with my whole family.

Upon entering, the waiting area was clean, there was refrigerated bottled water available and Zaneda at the front desk was pleasant and always smiling. The highlight of my visit was Simona, my hygienist! If I wasn’t comfortable and relaxed, my conversation with her sure did it. Fantastic experience: I moved to Florida a couple years ago. Had a wonderful dentist in Pgh x 25 years, we would fly to PA, to see our dentist, twice a year. But once we made FL our permanent residence we knew we had to find a dentist here. A close friend provided this dental practice w/Dr Miller. He is wonderful. ALL his staff is wonderful also. Very friendly, and knowledgeable. Practice is thorough and helpful. Was successful in getting me in within a day or 2. I WOULD RECOMMEND DENTAL CARE OF WEST MELBOURNE to everyone.

Negative experience: Quality of care is good here, but I find it to be overpriced and did not appreciate all the pressure to do a lot more work than I actually needed. Turns out i only needed $3000 in work as opposed to the $7500 I was told I needed. My last visit I felt shamed and dismissed for my choices and timing of things. While it started well, I ultimately felt bullied into bridgework that turned out to be unnecessary and ultimately feel that the main focus of this practice is money.

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with Dr. Miller and his team. This is the first I have visited a dental office and the staff was very attentative to my concerns and my needs. This was very important to me. The entire listen careful and advised doctor of my problem. The doctor then assessed my issue, provided a diagnosis, and expressed his concerns and thoughtsvthe best way to treat my problem. The care, compassion, concern, and love the team showed is what makes it count for a patient like me. When Dr. Miller took his chair and sat face to face to me and explained my situation, I was like yes that personal touch is what I am looking for in a dentist and his team.
