Fantastic experience: Been to comfort dental in the past, finally after a few years, I needed some work done, and it was the same as last... great! Everyone was very welcoming, and I am happy with comfort dental restoring my magnificent smile.

Fantastic experience: Comfort Dental - Rio Rancho gives me one of the best experiences with deep cleaning. The staff are very patient, courteous and very professional. Dr Gee, is such a great Dentist, she's very cool and makes you feel relaxed with her singing. She is very knowledgeable in her field with awesome gentle hands. Dr Gee gave me one of the best experiences. I highly recommend all of their services and Dr Gee and her staff for being so wonderful...

Negative experience: OVER CHANGING!! This dental office is great except for one thing, they overcharge and balance billing. I have insurance and every time I get the claim statement from the insurance company it show that I was over charged $200-$300 and when I try to bring it to their attention all I get is that I’m chasing moving target but can not tell me where that extra money went to. They overcharge me and the insurance company trying to get as much money as they can. OVER CHARGING…. Check your statements, I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company to get my money back.

Negative experience: The wait time was ridiculous !!!! My appointment was at 9am and I wasn’t brought back to chair until 10:45. 2 1/2 hours to have cleaning and extraction is bad time management. Plus my teeth do t even feel clean. I would never recommend and will not be going back. Worst experience ever. People are nice but I dont have time to wait that long because they have 1 doctor doing everything. The girl came and flossed my teeth and polished them before they were even cleaned, makes no sense to me. I will be looking for a better place. Don’t waste your time Wish I did t have to give a star

Positive experience: Giving a three star because I really enjoyed the Dentist and the were able to do same day. However, the front desk clerk and hygienist were so rude. Absolutely no customer service, definitely made me feel like I was just another paycheck in and out of the office. Would highly recommend manager do some customer service training with all staff.

Negative experience: Made an appointment because my filling fell out. Show up for my appointment and sat there for an hour and a half in the chair amd never saw the dentist. Finally walked out. This place sucks!!!

Negative experience: absolutely terrible. my grandma paid $1200 to get partials. they did not fit her. she then got diagnosed with cancer and had chemo treatment. they said they would honor it when she was done with chemo to get ones that would fit. she goes back TODAY and they won’t honor it. have some decency and keep your word.

Negative experience: They did some fillings and I have a white spot inside my cheek the next day that started to hurt. I went back of course because it’s an emergency if it’s infected. They made me wait my entire lunch and wouldn’t give me a time frame and the lady at the front desk just rolls her eyes at you.

Fantastic experience: I in pain, deep into an emergency, and my regular dentist couldn’t see me for at least 10 days. Comfort dental got me in the same day! Once I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming demeanor of all the staff. Though my issue is going to require a root canal, I will definitely be returning to Comfort Dental for all my future needs.

Positive experience: The doctor and my extraction were great! The terrible thing was to leave me without pain medication, 1. You sent it late when the pharmacy was closed 2. You sent it to the wrong Walmart, I asked for the one in Golf course and paseo del norte.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. The girl at the front desk was so, so annoyed that I didn't know all of the Comfort Dentals are privately owned. The negative interaction with her put me in a really bad mood. I was called back only to sit in the chair waiting for 45 mins (I'm not too upset about the wait bc I'm sure they had to squeeze me in since the pain just started the day before), listening to the guy next to me who was getting his entire mouth extracted. Hearing that......ugh! Then I had Dr. Gee trying to explain what my problem was but I couldn't hear her over the pop music that was piped into the entire place. So annoying. But what was worse....Dr. Gee didn't repeat herself OR turn the music down when I explained I couldn't hear bc the music was so loud. So I left there not fully understanding what was going on in my mouth. Plus the issue of my pain wasn't at all addressed and I think this is the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. I'm just gonna pretend that didn't happen and find somewhere else to go.

Fantastic experience: I have very high anxiety issues with dentist stuff. Dr Clayton really cares for his patients and how they feel and helps you understand. I hadn't gone sense i believe 2017. I had to have a chipped filling redone and he really made sure I was comfy and asked through the whole procedure if I was okay! I just had 2 teeth pulled today and I wanted to be sedated, they made that possible as I knew I was going to be so anxious! I remember some things but I also remember him asking if I was okay! He is very caring and listens to your needs and supports you through the whole process! Even the receptionist helped me when I called ,as I was worried about being sedated! And now I feel so much better about going to the dentist! Thank you dr Clayton and everyone in the front end! You guys are so amazing!

Fantastic experience: Wow, very impressed, Late Walk in, after 6:00pm, new patient, didn’t have an appointment. I had low expectations of being seen that late in the evening. However they got me very quickly and I was seen by the Doctor in less than 30 minutes. All staff was great, Doctor and Dental Assistant stayed after closing time to see to my needs. They did a great job, very happy and very impressed with the professionalism of all Staff at their office. Probably one of the best Dental experiences I can remember.

Negative experience: Went for a routine cleaning an examination back in November 2024. Appointment was scheduled for 2pm, I got there at 1:45pm. After waiting until about 3pm (more than an hour) they finally saw me. They did a cleaning, which while rough I did feel like they did an okay job on. However they then said I had something close to 5 cavities, which to me was rather strange (since I had no pain or any issues up to that point. I presumed at most I had 1-2, but sure I guess it'll be fine). After a little while they go ahead and start numbing up my gums. One half they do amazing (quickly numbing, can't feel anything), the other half somehow just doesn't numb anything. I make sure to let them know and after another ~20 minutes they renumb that side and wait for it to kick in. After finally having my entire mouth numbed they begin the fillings. The right side worked out fine, but the left side was a whole lot different. They seemed to take significantly longer, and especially seemed to be doing quite a lot of work especially for a cavity. Once they're done my mouth is sore and numb, and I head home. Still sore for close to 2 weeks, and now the left side is extremely sensitive. Warm/cool foods/drinks are extremely jarring compared to before, so I just try and avoid it. A few months go by and it's mostly subsided. Now I develop a toothache, same side, same teeth. I wonder why since I've been maintaining regular brushing to avoid having to go back. I go ahead and call, and when I finally get seen (again after an hour long wait) they do another set of x-rays and the tech lets me know that the filling they did was far too deep, and that it's now pushing up against the nerve. In short they more than likely made a filling way deeper than necessary (especially since there was no pain) and are now recommending a full root canal and crown. I've gone ahead and decided to go with a different dentistry office since at this point it's been nothing but excessive work that seems to have done more harm than good.

Fantastic experience: It was a wonderful experience as soon as I walked in all the nurses there the dental hygienist were just awesome. I was literally shaking like a leaf but now I go there with no problem not to mention I have only been to the dentist, maybe five times in my whole life and I’m regretting it now, but Dr. G is wonderful I have stayed in communication with her and done all the procedures that need to be done. I will never go anywhere else. Everyone is friendly.

I appreciate their professionalism and skills. I’ve had experience with many of the dentist and multiple text and every one of them has been efficient and proficient!

I knew they were quite busy, but when they actually called me in I was pleasantly surprised by the organization.. The staff was extremely Friendly and knowledgeable the Dental work I got from the doctor and his assistants was exceptional.

Im absolutely impressed by The personal relationships the staff builds with each client to the sensitivity and support of the drs and staff. I have had bone graphs to implants and root canals here and will never go anywere else again. The care and support that every member provides at this dental office is the best I've ever experienced!!

Fantastic experience: Over the 4th of July weekend a tooth ache in a molar became accessed and the pain was excruciating. Comfort Dental got me in early Monday and took care of the problem tooth.

Negative experience: The Insurance personnel did not understand what Customers concerns on financing where and did not listen to the fees and policies of different insurances are in discounted rates

Negative experience: I have been going to the dental office for years. But the wait has become beyond ridiculous. It sometimes takes over an hour to be called back and then an hour to be seen by the dentist. There are good dentists out there that take better care of their schedule. The care is honestly not worth the wait.

Negative experience: Imagine waiting for 6 months to have your teeth cleaned and then they try to mislead you. Dr. Vaughn made me wait for an Hour and 10 minutes but never apologized. I totally understand that they get busy ‘cause I’m a clinician myself, but they should not treat their clients like we’re ignorant. When he finally saw me he said, “ the tech did good cleaning your teeth. “ I responded, “Nobody cleaned my teeth.” What’s weird was they polished my teeth first. He sounded frustrated and started cleaning my teeth. After he & the tech cleaned my teeth, I had sores in my mouth because they tried to do it fast and pulled hard on my lips. My kids were also there with me and saw that I had tears in my eyes because of the pain. I felt harassed and the cleaning itself was terrible. It did not feel like they throughly cleaned my teeth and there was no flossing done. I would never treat my clients like the way they did to me. I called the front desk guy about my concern since they do not have a clinic manager and he said I will raise this concern & somebody will contact you but nobody did. I hardly write reviews but this is worth my time for other clients to know.

Negative experience: I originally had a 5 star review. Let me start by saying I like Dr. Gee. Shes nice and made me feel comfortable. I had bad tooth pain which caused me to have to see Dr Leinweber to do a root canel since Dr Gee was out. The few next days it started to bother me. I saw Dr Gee for an adjustment to my bite. The pain continued for 4 weeks. I called tried to get in with Dr Gee. She was gone. I went to another dentist where he examined me. Mentioned he observed a missed canal in my tooth (which is common to miss) also said I had a Huge Cavity on that same tooth. He wanted me to see a specialist to have it redone but 2 weeks later. The pain was horrendous. I went to the dentist that week and got it pulled. I didn't want to wait or do it again. I called and asked for a refund. This Dr. Called me . Talked horribly to me and was so offended I was asking for the money back. He talked to me like I was below him. But tried to keep his "nice" tone. I never said it failed. I told him what the other dentist told me. The fact he didn't take accountability and talked to me like this with no resolution is a joke. Ill be filing a grievance since he didn't want to come to an agreement. Giving me a refund for a crown that was never put is the only thing that was refunded. He also said he would refund me for the work up it was not included. No accountability.

Fantastic experience: I am so glad I found Comfort Dental. My family and I have been going here for a couple of years now. We have always been pleased with the customer service as well as the dentists. We love Dr Clayton and Dr Vaughn. They know I'm terrified of getting dental work done and they really know how to comfort me and help me through the procedure. The whole staff here are just awesome. They are also friendly. You get great service when you go here. A big plus is their hours of operation. They stay open late on the weekdays and they're even open on Saturday. It's very handy for the working class customers.

Fantastic experience: There’s nothing fancy about Comfort Dental on Southern, but there doesn’t need to be. I needed a new dentist and picked Brandon Clayton, DDS, from a long list of providers because he was accessible for me and the office accepts Medicare. It was a brilliant choice. Janae, his dental assistant for that day, introduced me to the quality care of the office. She went about the business of setting up a stack of information for a new dental patient and she was still able to hold up her end of the conversation, although I sometimes tend to talk too much, so she had plenty of time to do her work. I could hear a dentist in other cubicles greet people with enthusiasm and warmth, so I hoped he would be the dentist I had registered to see. Luck was with me and it turned out that the delightful voice in the office was his. They worked well together and it was clear that the entire office was run with efficiency and it had protocols in place, because everybody knew what was expected of them. The staff seemed to enjoy working together and I always take that as a sign of a positive work environment. The dental work was excellent. In fact it went so smoothly that I didn’t know I was having the actual dental procedure. I was shocked when they announced they were finished and I thought they were still cleaning my teeth. My only regret is that the dental assistants rotate with each other so there is no guarantee Janae will work with me next time. Fingers crossed! I can highly recommend this practice if they all offer the quality care I received from Janae and Dr. Clayton.

Fantastic experience: I walked in at 7:30 Monday morning without an appointment. I’ve had a tooth that had been giving me trouble for sometime, and it turns out there was fairly severe infection. I was unable to commit to a day, to come in and get it pulled out. We decided to pull it right away, and it was done with the most care and compassion I’ve experienced in a dental office. I’m so appreciative to Comfort Dental for seeing me without an appointment and taking care of a relatively serious issue at a very turbulent time in my own life. Thank you so much folks!

The dental assistant and the doctor where great and incredibly helpful. I am so happy I found Comfort Dental. I recently went the other day for a check up and I saw DrG she is wonderful and caring. The staff is so sweet and helpful. From the front desk person to the dental assistants everyone is knowledgeable/ friendly/ very caring / I feel incredibly lucky to have Dr Gee as my dentist she is absolutely the best. So caring and a fantastic dentist. So happy I found Comfort Dental April 28th 2025 I had two teeth pulled and had my new partial put in. I truly feel blessed I have Dr. Gee as my Dentist she is incredibly caring and truthful about everything from procedures to cost. She is gentle. Her techs are also so caring and thoughtful. I am so happy to have found Comfort Dental everyone from checking in to checking out is wonderful.

Fantastic experience: The staff is detailed oriented and answered all my questions. They explained the process of the temporary and permanent bridge. It took a long time and it will be worth it! Now, the dental team has divided my mouth into four quadrants to work on old filed cavities to make new and clean under my gums so they last longer. The team is great and explain everything.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Comfort Dental and I had a really great team work on my chipped front tooth. The dental assistant was welcoming and friendly, she took the time to explain my financial options, and answered all the questions I had regarding my medical insurance and the gold plan offered by comfort dental. She didn’t know everything about my personal coverage but found out before any work had begun. I was able to make a confident decision about what work to get done that day. The assistant worked on my teeth and was skillful and gentle. Dr. Jennifer Gee came in and picked up where the assistant left off and they were a great team. Easily the best dental team I’ve ever had work on my teeth. The chip was fixed, and I am confident and happy again. I know the next step and what it entails. Fantastic experience: My son’s tooth was hurting him and we were luckily able to get in same day. They were all so nice from when we got there and they took great care of him.

Fantastic experience: We transferred here from a different dental office due to repetitive rude front desk/scheduling staff. The front desk was not rude here, though could be friendlier. They just seemed overwhelmed. Though the dental staff was phenomenal!!! John was the absolute best dentist my husband, myself and our 87 year old father ever experienced!! He was so thorough, explained everything clearly, was gentle, never allowed us an opportunity to “choke” and the patience he had with our dad who has some dementia and is slow to respond was far above and beyond!! I am moving my entire family to this location specifically to John also!!

Fantastic experience: Decent place to get dental work done. Dr. G was the best but honestly, I didn’t see the other dentist. I am pretty sure they are good like Dr. G!
