Fantastic experience: A friendly atmosphere. Saw Dr. Mark Garner for a tooth extraction. He also did my wife’s implants. He explained the options well and everything was prompt and professional. His assistant was also very professional.

Fantastic experience: The office was clean and welcoming. It was set up like your own home living room and coffee was served. I’ve never seen that anywhere else. The Dentist, Dr. Mark, was well informed and asked to be put in touch with a lab tech that created the dentures that I wear. That seems to me that he was going over and beyond what most dentists do. The Dental Hygienist, Haley, was proficient In her craft. She was gentle and attentive to details. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to my friends and neighbors.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and informative staff. Easy experience. My DH explained every procedure to me, what the photos meant, what I should expect, etc. I felt very taken care of. They also gave me a goodie bag with my name written on it. AND they heave each client a fresh baked cookie! We worked out a treatment plan for my cavities (whoops) and I will be sticking with them for a while. Very happy I went to Orchard Meadows. This is the cleanest my teeth have ever been.

Fantastic experience: This was hands-down the best dental experience my husband has ever had. He needed two teeth removed that were broken at the gum line, and the whole team treated him with such genuine care and respect. They took the time to show us around, made sure we were comfortable, and even let me stay with him during the procedure. You could feel how much they love what they do. Every detail felt thoughtful, not rushed. It’s rare to walk out of a dental office feeling grateful, but that’s exactly how we felt.

Fantastic experience: Hands down THE best dentist I've ever been to. This is the 5th dentist office I've been to in my life (first in Rapid City) and I am so thankful I chose Orchard Meadows. My hygienist was thorough, asking me questions even before she started evaluating my teeth. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable and answered all my questions. The female dentist also took the time to examine my teeth (not just the poke 3 teeth and call it a day). The check out receptionist was also kind. I didn't expect to spend 2 full hours at an initial dental visit, but this office takes the time to hear your concerns, evaluate thoroughly, and answer all questions. I will never go anywhere else. Great job all around Orchard Meadows!

Fantastic experience: Recently, I had gone in to Orchard Meadows Family Dental to get an abutment placed in the fixture that I had placed approximately six months ago. I was greeted immediately with a smile and the receptionist already knew my name. Three minutes later I was called in by Patricia, one of the assistants. She was very polite and professional! Dr. Mark was very fast and explained to me each step as he placed the abutment. I was in and out within a half hour! Next step is the crown… can’t wait!! Thank you Orchard Meadows!!

They offer an array of comfort services which include neck pillows, warm blankets, sedation, anxiety support, massaging chairs, and other services. They’re very transparent and keep you updated throughout the entire appointment. They give your price estimates during the appointment so there are no surprises. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Orchard Meadows for several years now after being left hanging by my previous dentist who left the profession. I have suffered from severe periodontal disease and wanted a Doctor I could trust. My hygienist was always friendly, efficient and gentle and Doctor Mark is the best always friendly and engaging and providing me with the best information and options for my treatment. The entire team makes you feel welcome and part of the family. I have to make a 2 hour drive for my appointments but it is worth it. Eventually it was time to go with dentures and I inquired about implant supported lower denture. I had implant surgery this past December and have just received my permanent snap in denture. It is a long process but very well worth it the Dental team is very supportive and reassuring. Part of the process may be that the fit isn't perfect immediately but they do their best to schedule in for any adjustments needed. Another bonus is the cappuccino machine and chocolate chip cookies. I would highly recommend this clinic to any looking for a top notch professional caring dentist! Thank you for guiding me along on this journey.

Negative experience: "Up to our standard of care" My wife went here to possibly get some work done. She was told she had I believe six things that needed fixed and told the price with a breakdown of what was covered by insurance. By the breaker down it showed that three out of six issues were covered by insurance due to the max annual amount covered. She told them she wanted split the appointments between two years (it was already around November) taking care of the worst issues first to insure coverage on all six issues. When they called back they told her "We recommend that you find another dentist because we don't believe you are up to our standard of care". To me, this shows a blatant disrespect and disregard to a patient. I hope this helps you chose better.

Fantastic experience: On day 2 of a trip from western Montana to Georgia I developed a toothache. I called dentists in the Spearfish, SD area where we'd spent the night. Orchard Meadows was able to see me on an emergency basis. Dr. Juhlin examined me, diagnosed the probable problem and offered solutions. Due to the fact that we had a long drive/trip ahead of us I chose a temporary solution (Antibiotics for an infection) and OTC pain meds until I returned to Montana. I was very impressed with the entire office. They were welcoming, accommodating and professional. I felt that I was in good hands throughout my experience. If I lived in the Rapid City area I would certainly consider this office for my dental needs.

I’ve been reluctant to visit the dentist due to a spinal vertigo issue I deal with; thankfully I’ve not been triggered during any visit. Negative experience: After reading other one star reviews looks like I have avoided some interesting billing that could have gone on. Made and appointment for my son. We had all the insurance and paperwork done and things were ready to go. Show up at the appointed time and suddenly there was no appointment but yet all the insurance information was in their computer? They allegidly had no contact phone number. Drove home and retrieved the appointment card and brought it back to the office. Now the excuse was somebody called and canceled the appointment due to being out of town. The whole thing feels a little classist.

Negative experience: You cant leave a no star or i would made an appointment a month early for my son and went to go to it they had no record of it but i had the paper they gave me for the appointment with the date and time and the only thing they could dind was my insurance on file if they didnt like the wife beater band pants and uncombed hair when i wnt in to maake the appointment they should have said something but didnt think it mattered how you looked when you set up an appointment it would not have bothered me so bad and i wouldn't b writing this review if it would have been an appointment for me but when it comes to my kid's no matter how ild they are especially my baby then it gets to me im old school gen x i have pulled my own teeth but this was pretaning to one of my kids and thats qhat sat me off so i took my business elsewhere

Fantastic experience: Amazing service! I was quoted more than $2,000.00 to have my busted wisdom tooth removed by other providers. Because of this I waited more than a year to get this done. They had me in and out in no time at all on a first come first serve basis for free extractions cleanings and fillings event. They were amazing! Extremely polite, considerate and professional! I wish I knew the name of the doctor his assistant. I’d like to shake their hand one last time and see about making him my primary for dental. I’d highly recommend their services to anyone needing care!

Fantastic experience: I normally hate going to the dentist. I feel like I get lectured about my teeth and gum health. This has never motivated me to want to take care of my teeth. Orchard Meadows approach of educating (instead of lecturing) made me feel comfortable and I feel like I have the knowledge to move forward with the oral cares that I need to be doing. Everyone was very friendly and took the time to make me feel like I was important. They seemed to appreciate me being there to take the proper steps in the care I need.
