My Dentist

Negative experience: I am sharing my experience with this dental facility based on my personal records and observations. I have multiple patient ledgers. One shows a “Balance Forward” dated the day before my first visit. Since I was a new patient at that time, having a balance forward at the start of my ledger raises questions. The fact that it is dated before my initial visit is particularly concerning. Some records list dental damage that does not appear to match the x-rays taken at the time. Some damage documented in my initial visit was not observed until subsequent visits several years later. Notes from the initial visit indicate a plan to extract a tooth that showed no visible damage on the x-ray. This extraction is not listed in the care plan, and the tooth in question developed observable damage years later, which eventually resulted in its extraction. The records from my initial visit were not entered into the system until four days after a follow-up visit. Other facilities documented damage to my teeth within a month of a visit to this office that is not recorded in this facility’s notes or records. Internal communications between staff show discrepancies with the patient records. For example, one letter indicates I had periodontal disease during my initial visit, while other records from the same date indicate my gums were healthy. I am sharing this information to document inconsistencies in my records and to help others be aware of potential differences between documentation and what was observed or communicated during visits.

Fantastic experience: Super clean and Hygienic office! Very professional staff. Clear and accurate financial information. They explained everything promptly and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. It was based on income which is understandable. But they made sure to distribute payments in a timely manner! Both Dr. Phillips and Dr. Wendling were kind during my visits. They listened to my needs during my procedures and respected the way I felt about everything. I’m overall pleased with my visits and the work that was done on my mouth. Send questions my why I’ll totally keep you informed!

I have had nothing but great service from everyone! From Lauren at the front desk, to the different hygienists, and to Dr. Phillip! My anxiety level goes down each and every time I go. I highly recommend them!

His work was amazingly done like nothing had happened. It was even smoother on the back side. All this with little wait❤️ As an emergency first time patient everyone was amazing even at checkin! We need to support a dentist that offers this great service ! I highly recommend My Dentist!!

Fantastic experience: I have a horrible phobia of dentists ... Alot of people do right ? Anyway I had to have 4 fillings done two on top and two on bottom. I was so nervous and scared. I said a prayer and asked Jesus to be with me and He was. I had an exceptional dentist her name was Meredith and she did fantastic. Her helper was amazing too but never got her name! Anyway I didn't feel the shots I didn't feel any pain on top at all. The bottom I started to feel pain and raised my hand and she immediately stopped and gave me more medicine to numb it more and gave it time to work and then began again and continued to check on me to make sure everything was okay. I highly recommend this dentist above all others I ever been too. I'm very thankful and satisfied with the work that was done and feel so much better ! Thank you

Fantastic experience: They were very kind and gentle to me here. I have very bad ptsd and on the autism spectrum and struggle with these environments and situations but they totally were understanding and compassionate to me. They explained everything to me very well and in a way I understood. They explained the financial stuff fully before the care started so I understood everything well. They made me feel safe and cared for there. This is a great dental clinic. 10/10 would recommend

Negative experience: Went to this office because I am in pain with a broken tooth and infection. Refered out. surgeon would not help, I only have medicade. Called this office to try again to get some help. Told that since I was referred they would not help . So if you don't have expensive insurance don't bother calling here.

They, if we have a good time, they do their work they do a excellent job. I would suggest them over anybody in town. Fantastic experience: The facility is very clean. Friendly and fast check in. (I don’t like having to take x-rays every time for just a teeth cleaning. But it’s their way of doing it. To get a more accurate assessment of teeth.) The technicians and Dr.s are nice, easy on the teeth when cleaning, and very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend My Dentist in Fort Smith.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Phillips and his team at My Dentist- Fort Smith are absolutely great! The cleaning I received from Trisha was quick and pain free with great results, and the care plan they have set up for me is comprehensive yet affordable. They also offer multiple financing options and you will probably be suprised at how much credit will be extended to pay for the out of pocket costs that insurance does not pay. A+ 5*’s. *UPDATE: To anyone looking for a new dentist, your search is over. These guys are excellent. Not only will they work hard with your insurance to get as much covered as possible, but they think of this strategically so you can get the important things done first and with less money out of pocket. Concerning their care, it’s top notch with an emphasis on minimizing pain. Trisha actually gave me a shot on the roof of my mouth and I didn’t feel a thing. I just can’t say enough about how good these folks are. Looking for a dentist? See MyDentist, Dr. Phillips *Update in ‘23 Trish is still my hygienist and I love her to death. She’s great at making the waterjet cleaner (the new way of cleaning, not scraping with a tool). I’ve had some needed work done this year but I got all of that taper care of and they even financed at at 0% for 12 months You can pay it off early which I will do by about a month because there is no reason to with the 0% apr. Dr Phillips is still lead at the practice and he does an amazing job. He is very smart about things and like I say the whole team including Lauren the office manager are very helpful in getting your insurance dollars spent first so hopefully you don’t have to come up with much out of pocket at first, though you may have. to come up with just a little if you had some major work done. It really just depends on your insurance. Also do not forget hey do Zoom whitening, which is this amazing whitening procedure that takes about 1:30-2 hours and your teeth come out looking fantastically whiten that before. They stay white for a while too. I had mine done in Feb ‘23 and I still can’t tell any more yellowing. They office this Zoom service at about half price once a year do get an eye out for that discount! Anyhow, love em, won’t change for nothing now. And been seeing them about 5 years. Well thanks for reading. Update: Wow! They are incredible. They deal with impossible patients. They are more than friends. They care about you and your well being. I can’t thank them enough for dealing with me.

Negative experience: While my experiences here have never been over-the-top unpleasant, the CONSTANT spamming of texts is insane. I can barely go one day without a text from the receptionist, usually littered with grammatical errors, asking if I want to move my appointment as a spot just opened up 2 hours from the time of the text. Shockingly, I have no interest in rushing to get ready and get to the dentist as I chose the appointment date that I did for a reason. Additionally, I believe they must get commission from Invisalign because I cannot even go in for a simple cleaning without being made to feel guilty for not agreeing to start. Not a horrible dentist, but communication is very unprofessional and services are constantly pushed.

Fantastic experience: Go here if you want nice friendly caring individuals taking care of you and your teeth. I had a really bad experience the year before getting teeth pulled and I was scared yesterday. But they reassured me and we're very understanding. They took that tooth out the same day! That doesn't happen. I'm so used to being sent home and told hey come back in another two weeks to get that tooth pulled! But not Dr. Phillips and his wonderful team!. It just went so smoothly! They didn't talk around me like I wasn't there. They talked to me and constantly helped me to feel safe and in good hands. Thank you so much!!!

Fantastic experience: Best office ever if you have young kids! My 2 and 4 yr old boys love Miss Trish and everyone in the office! While I held my 2 yr old for his cleaning, an assistant played with my 4yr old to keep him busy! They are a great family friendly office! Super efficient and clean too!

Fantastic experience: Love my Hygienist, front desk always so friendly, girls don’t stand up or sit and gossip about people out loud. Don’t have a lot of kids in the office wailing and climbing around on everything. Whole office is clean and tidy. Patients aren’t crowded in the waiting room waiting on doc to finish and hearing a lot of laughter and conversation not related to the visit.

Fantastic experience: Having a full tooth removal. Not only were they able to accommodate the level of damage on my teeth they did so without making me judged. Made sure I was fully numb before beginning and the young Dr. Collazo was amazing highly recommend. Also they were patient and so very sweet to my son Easton who got a filling and 2 caps. The ladies at reception were kind and very knowledgeable. 10/10

Fantastic experience: They treated us very kindly. Including my 5yr old. I've heard nothing but good bout them and then I got seen by them and it was a decent experience since I hate dentists. It was only a first check up but they were all kind people and kindness definitely goes a very long way cuz otherwise people end up going somewhere else. So thank you "my dentist" for being good to us. It's greatly appreciated. My 5yr old didn't hate it for his first visit to dentist and that says alot for his next visit next week. So again thank you! Fantastic experience: Had a bad toothache and they fit me in to their schedule and got me in for a root canal the next day! My dental hygienist was so sweet and nice, and the root canal was done fairly quick! This will definitely be my new place to go

Negative experience: Called them to see if my intwould cover everything and they told me yes. Well then I get a bill in the mail for $80 they finally took care of it but I don’t trust them now. Just beware the only thing they done was rays and I talked to the dentist for 5 mins wasn’t happy with service at all. Only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they did take care of bill

Fantastic experience: My first visit here was the best experience with a dentist office I have had in many years. I had an appt with another office. Left upset without seeing the dentist. I came here the same day. They got me right in and within a week my tooth was fixed. Root canal with a crown. The staff is knowledgeable and professional and friendly. I will never go anywhere else. Dr Phillips is amazing.

Fantastic experience: I had not been to the dentist in while, but I have been to many over the years and have had much work done. The minute I entered, the super friendly front desk, et al made me feel very comfortable. It took Dr Philips 1 glance to diagnose a long standing issue missed by everyone else. They got quickly to work professionally developing a plan to fix my smile. Grinding, rough edges, jaw pain, chipped teeth from a cycling accident. They quickly developed a suitable plan, and amazingly I am excited to visit the dentist again.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best dentist I have ever been to! If I could give more stars I would. The front staff are very friendly and welcoming. The dental hygienist is amazing! She explained everything to me thoroughly and gave me tips throughout my visit on keeping my teeth and gums healthy. I would recommend this place to everyone!
