Hygienist Lisa and Dr. David Ducommun were the most friendly, patient, thorough, reassuring, and still professional dental providers I have ever had as a patient! I felt heard, not rushed one bit, and I’m actually looking forward to my next visit! Amazing! LOL! Fantastic experience: I previously left a review for the Sun Prairie location after getting my wisdom tooth removed there, but wanted to leave one here as well. Dr. Andre was fantastic and truly helped me regain confidence in my smile. I needed my front tooth repaired due to a cavity under the bonding, and he rebuilt it to look as good as new — completely pain- and stress-free. He took his time to ensure I was happy with the results and comfortable throughout the entire process. I unfortunately can’t recall the name of the assistant or hygienist who worked with him today, but she was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. I always feel confident in the care No Fear Dentistry provides, no matter which location I visit, and I look forward to continuing my care here.

Negative experience: Please look at the 1-2 star reviews before coming here, & definitely get a second opinion if you’re told you have cavities. I was told i had 5 cavities & at the time it felt iffy but I trusted the positive reviews & let them give me the fillings. Fast forward a few years and 2 of these fillings have painfully cracked within 8 weeks of each other, yet the 2 fillings I’ve had since I was very young are still in tact with no issues. I really don’t think I needed the fillings & I regret letting these people talk me into it. A few of my friends that came here also have similar stories. Like the other reviewers say - this place seems like a scam that straight up lies & tries to get as much $ as they can.

Fantastic experience: Great staff great team great environment. Got an emergency appointment and root canal same day and extremely grateful as I was in excruciating pain for weeks. Definitely would recommend anyone giving them a shot you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: We have had excellent care at Madison No Fear Dentistry. Both my daughter (10 years)and I enjoy the personalities of all the hygienists and the dentists and the receptionists. They remember details – and make you feel special whether it's that they remember that you like Adele radio or they remembered my daughter's favorite TV show to watch when she's getting her teeth cleaned

Fantastic experience: Always timely, always proficient. My hygienist works quickly and accommodates my needs to prevent a backlash of TMJ after holding my mouth open.

Negative experience: I went here for a cavity a few years ago. Needless to say she didn't file the filling down saying I'll just grind it down with my teeth and now my teeth are still uneven and its very annoying. So make sure they file the fillings down so your jaw dont click when your eating. Thanks you ruined my smile.

Fantastic experience: For someone who has major anxiety and PTSD when it comes to dentists, I really didn’t do too bad today. I was still upset and nervous the whole time, but it wasn’t horrible. They have a “mouthwash” that you can swish around in your mouth prior to anything, the taste is absolutely disgusting, but it did help. Yea, I may have gouged my finger on my right side with a finger nail on my left, and I need a bandaid, but that’s ok. Yes, the chair was shaking, but that’s ok. Yes I may have accidentally bit the hygienist, but, only because I went to say something at the same time she put her finger in my mouth. But that’s ok. I’ve never bitten a hygienist, and she’s never been bit, 1st time for everything. All in all a pretty good experience.

Fantastic experience: I went to have a loose crown checked out for my first visit. Dr. Rebecca Gander did a great job of assessing the situation, offered a good solution and was able to do the work immediately to repair the tooth and make a mold for a new crown. Going to the dentist is never a pleasant experience for me, but they were very courteous, kind and professional.

Positive experience: Mike did a great job with my Dynaflex. I'm back to great sleeping with out snoring!

Negative experience: Went out of network with my dental insurance so I would have been using my out of network benefits. My payment would have went up over $100. When I said I would not be able to afford that and I'd likely need to cancel, they simply said "Okay, that appointment is cancelled, have a great day!". No trying to work with me, no offering options. Wanted to love it here. :(

Negative experience: Got a surprise bill because they didn't notify me that they were no longer taking my insurance despite verifying my insurance (Delta Dental) at scheduling and registration.

Fantastic experience: Dr John is an artist! I have a lot of dental anxiety due to negative experiences with other dentists not numbing me enough and leaving my face bruised from poor injections. Dr John took less than 30 minutes to replace a filling and I didn’t even feel when he injected the anesthetics. I’ve never had such a quick and painless dental filling. I was elated! My dental trauma is fixed.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was super understanding and kind. The staff took their time & explained things throughly. They offer a lot of different things to help you feel more comfortable. If you have a lot of anxiety about getting work done on your teeth this is the perfect place to go! Only negative is they dont offer a payment plan with the office themselves they recommend going through a credit card.

Fantastic experience: The white-hot plunge of a cruel needle into gums ... never happened. I didn't even feel the novocaine. The agonizing grinding of a drill against the quivering skull-bones ... I hardly felt it. Got two fillings, one on each side, and it was painless, and very fast. Truly these odontic sorcerors have conquered pain itself! Highly recommended place to go if you hate pain, as I do. They're also very pleasant and make you comfortable as possible.

Fantastic experience: My name is Phil and I spent some time at No Fear Dentistry this morning. The work I had done by the dentist and his assistant was terrific. I am 87 years old and. since I started going to NO Fear Dentistry I Almost look forward to the trip.

I have never be scared to go to the dentist here. I get a warm neck wrap, watch Netflix, get a warm neck wrap, and get freshly baked cookies on the way out. It made having to go to the dentist a much more positive experience than I've had in the past. And he removed my tooth in less than one minute. It was quicker & easier than getting Botox!

Fantastic experience: Madison No Fear Dentistry took amazing care of my teeth and anxiety during my two recent visits! I was a new patient who hadn't had the chance to receive any dental healthcare in a very long time, and they scheduled me quickly and took great care of me! The staff I got to work with, Dr. Michael, Tara, and Lisa had paitence with my anxiety needs (answered my many questions, music, lights down, no judgement), we clear on procedures and expectations during the visit, were calm during the process, and were also very very friendly from start to finish! Finally, I'm booked on a regular schedule now to stay healthy. Absolutely recommend if you haven't been to the dentist in a minute and may have some fear or anxiety about jumping back into taking care of that again. After my visits I felt like an enormous weight had been lifted.

Fantastic experience: I have avoided going to the dentist for a few years due to anxiety surrounding the process. Madison No Fear was so painless and easy to start working with. The dental assistant Sabrina and Dr. John were so patient with me and reassuring throughout the whole visit, while explaining things in detail and allowing me small breaks!

Fantastic experience: Had to have a crown installed with an quote north of $1,700. Bill came to $1,408--when asked why so much less they said (essentially) that they estimate for a worst case scenario, and that my dental work went smoothly, hence the lower bill. Naturally I was delighted and delighted with Dr. Ducommun and his staff.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ducommun was awesome as always! I drive quite distance for dental care because I can't bear to switch to a different dentist. Today when he found some issues with my teeth, he was able to get me in within the hour to get it taken care of ASAP. Katie the hygienist was fun and friendly and did a great job with the cleaning. Dr. John completed my fillings and I was so impressed with his kindness in regards to my nervousness and the quality of care that I received. I had no pain, which is only the case when I go to No Fear Dentistry! Thank you all for going the extra mile!

Fantastic experience: I was so anxious coming in to get a crown done today. But, Dr. John Cairns was so professional & kind as to how I was feeling. He made me feel so at ease & it was the most relaxing crown visit I have ever had!! Highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: In the summer of last year, my daughter needed her molars out. I had to call multiple times to ger the referral sent. By the time they did, we'd switched insurance. There were a lot of nrw dentists, so it may not have been the front desk. I had cavities for about a year or more, before they listened to me. They knew I had a blood disorder that made me suseptible to infection, so it may look different on an xray. When they finally looked, the dentist kept drilling and drilling. I wondered why, since they said I didn't have any cavities. I left in so much psin,cI had to pull over in the back of Walgreens for half an hour. They also had me rinsing with chlorahexadine instead of giving me antibiotics for severely infected gums, so my teeth got worse. It didn't help much either. I ended up spending tens of thousands of dollars to fix my teeth, but at a really good dentist in Mt. Horeb who cared about me and treated me like a human being, instead of gaslighting me to over a year of suffering. Telling me it looked fine. They have a lot of young dentists, but I think because I'd been weaning off of pain meds my doctor PRESCRIBED for almost a decade for my back, Dr. Ducommon decided I was making things up or something. It has become common practice by too many doctors, to look at medications and discriminate. I chose to get off of my pain meds. My pain management specialist said I wasn't an addict, but if I wanted to, I'd need to wean. That's what I did for my own wellbeing. This may not have been why, but they knew my body worked differently and chose to ignore me. I'm not going to sue, but I hope and pray this is a learning lesson for Dr. DuCommon. It also just went down hill since I first started going there. This was 2 years ago now, so hopefully it's changed, but they put a lot into marketing, and why all the new dentists? Turnover at the time for some reason. IDK. Hope this helps. They did remove my amalgam, which I appreciated, but that was like 10 years ago. It was different then.

Fantastic experience: I don’t know that anyone loves going to the dentist but I don’t mind it at all. Mike is the hygienist and sleep specialist and we always pick up our conversations right where we left off. He knows his stuff!!! The staff are kind, patient and wonderful. The space is clean and well organized. It always smells like fresh bread or cookies (actually baking bread or cookies) and it does create a home like, calming, space. I will continue to recommend this office

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist but No Fear has made it better in so many ways. It’s the little details that make a difference-a warm eye pack and neck wrap, taking time to give my jaw a rest when cleaning and adapting the preventative care to meet my needs instead of insisting I have things done because it is due. The lip balm, fresh baked cookies and bread really put it over the top!

Fantastic experience: Been back many times now and won't go anywhere else! Been back several times and always outstanding! Zero anxiety going to the dentist now! Update! I’ve been back twice since my original review. Once for a cleaning a few weeks ago and today to get some major work done that I’ve put off due to dental anxiety. I opted for the sedation and they were able to get two root canals done and fill several cavities on the right side! I was so relaxed that I actually fell asleep multiple times during the visit. This is coming from a person who’s palms would sweat just calling the dentist and hands would shake going into the initial appointment! I can’t say enough good things about this place. I am no longer afraid to go the dentist! I still need to get some more cavities filled but I don’t think I’ll even need the sedation this time. I have a lot of dental anxiety and hadn’t been to a dentist in about 15 years. I drove about an hour to Madison No Fear Dentistry today for my initial visit. Every one from the front desk staff, to Paige my hygienist, to Dr. Kourtney Kuyper we’re all very kind. Paige and Dr. Kourtney Kuyper were patient and empathetic. They took the time to listen to my fears and determine a course of treatment to get me back on track. I’ll update more after my treatment but so far very impressed!

Wish I could give 10⭐ I was safe, they listened to my concerns helped me make a plan that made sense to my life style and something that will work well with my work schedule also. Fantastic experience: No Fear Dentistry has been great for my family. They are so kind and professional and make my daughters feel comfortable. They are always encouraging good dental hygiene in a positive way, even when my girls have cavities. Dr Dave makes a point to know us and has gone over and above to treat my family. We moved almost an hour away, but drive to keep our favorite dentist!

I have a family member who has an appointment and on the way there had a medical emergency. They missed the appointment and weeks later I was helping them go through their mail. I found this handwritten card from Madison No Fear Dentistry that said they had heard how he had missed his appointment due to a medical emergency and just wanted to wish him well. It was so VERY thoughtful and I could tell my family member was especially touched. I can tell the dental team seems to care about their patients. I'd recommend based on that and will visit soon!

Fantastic experience: Dr. John and Anna his assistant did an amazing job! Anna is very kind, made me feel comfortable, and was able to ensure I was ready for Dr. John to start fillings. I admittedly do not like going to the dentist and normally am white knuckled in the chair. This would be 1000% times true in getting an abscessed tooth pulled.-which is what I was having done today. They did such a great job, I never even grasped the armrest! Very much appreciate No Fear Dentistry, their entire staff and am so very happy to be their patient! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Fantastic experience: All staff are very welcoming and kind. They often remember you and ask about your family. I appreciate that they offer alternative options not available with other dentist offices. This allows me to get the care I need in a way that aligns with my personal preferences.

Fantastic experience: Like a lot of other people, I am anxious about going to the dentist. Finding a new dentist is even more anxiety producing. I am so delighted to have found No Fear Dental! From the initial phone call to the exam chair, I was set 100% at ease. In many ways, No Fear Dental undid a lot of my past experiences with Dentists. Dr. Mollner and Sabrina were tremendous- knowledgeable, patient and kind. I am so thankful for their treatment of me and their expertise. I cannot more sincerely recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: WOW! This clinic is fantastic. Jade was so sweet and made me feel safe and heard. She has the cutest pup. Every part of the dental clinic from reception to the doctor and the financial support team was so sweet and easy to talk to. I was really nervous going to this clinic but I had such a fantastic experience. Thank you so much for everything and a special thanks to Jade and Grey. You guys are amazing and I am excited to see everyone when I go back. Again, I felt safe and heard. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Every time i go to No Fear Dentistry the staff is always polite, super great at explaining everything before they do any procedures or charges and are willing to work with you on scheduling and what fits your budget! Highly recommend going there over any other dentistry! and they always make sure I am comfortable as can be and at ease. I've been going to them for about four years now. It's worth the drive to me every time since I don't live in the area!

Fantastic experience: I can be a challenging dental patient, as I need perio cleanings, have a poor gag reflex when taking x-rays, and put off appointments longer than I should. The staff here made dental care a delight for the first time in my life; they listened to my needs, made no judgements against my difficulties, and offered an arsenal of amenities and techniques that helped me feel comfortable while they got done what was needed. Would recommend time and time again.

Fantastic experience: My appointment went well as it always does there. On time and Mike did a great job getting me taken care of. Dave checked me over and we were good to go. I always look forward to see them both. I highly recommend this dental office!

Fantastic experience: Shikyla made me want to come back because of her amazing customer service she offered me a heated blanket and made the experience fun rather than scared. She provided me with excellent feedback on my teeth’s health. I reccomend no fear 1000%!

Negative experience: Extremely disappointing experience at this dental office. My daughter went in for fillings and ended up with a burn on her lip from the tools used. Despite expressing discomfort—even after receiving anesthesia—her concerns were completely ignored by the staff. To make matters worse, she was still charged the full amount for the procedure, and when she brought up the issue, the staff refused to take any responsibility. This lack of accountability and disregard for patient care is unacceptable. I would not recommend this office, especially for individuals with sensory sensitivities or anyone who feels uneasy about dental procedures. Professionalism and patient well-being should be a priority in healthcare, and unfortunately, that was not the case here.

Fantastic experience: Gracie was the absolute best! She gave me a warm neck wrap and blanket. I listened to my favorite music on Pandora. She was so conscientious about my gum sensitivity and offered some numbing gel that was a game changer. Excellent communication and care with every step. Very highly recommend NFD and Gracie in particular!
