Fantastic experience: Outstanding service! Dr. Yoo And Haley, her assistant, were an outstanding team and provided a service that was beyond my expectations. I walked in for a consult on my chipped tooth and walked out two hours later with a perfectly set crown. They have all the tools that are state of the art and it makes the process so much easier than the old days. I would highly recommend them and this practice.

Fantastic experience: I have quite a bit of teeth issues and was hesitant to have an ‘unknown’ dentist in the practice work on me. Dr. Samira is wonderful. She has now become my dentist of choice ! Dr. Samira is not only beautiful she is also kind, friendly, yet professional and conscientious. Dr . Samira wants her patients to be comfortable and explains what she’s doing and invites questions pertinent to the procedure she is performing. If you’re looking for a new dentist give Dr. Samira a try. You certainly won’t regret it!

Positive experience: I asked before I came if they could give me an idea of what it would cost and they said they’d have to see me first so I went in and it was way too expensive. She said it starts at around $60,000. I paid less than 30,000 a few years ago And I thought it got cheaper. So no, I will not be coming back

I didn’t even have an appointment for today, just walked in after seeing several videos on the internet. Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend this DENTIST. Everyone is so nice and understanding. From the dentist to the very attentive office assistants who cater to your personalized needs. My 1st couple of appointments were AWESOME. The entire staff was amazing. EVERYONE was SO polite and supportive. I have always had a fear of dentist. However, they ease my stress and fear. My anxiety was calmed by the dental assistant that calmly held my hand during my entire procedure. I must say they have a new employee named 'Lauren". She appears to be the office assistant (appointment booker/cashier). She does NOT blend with the rest of the staff. From her cold smileless introduction, accompanied by a blank stern appearing expression.... She really contradicts everyone else on the staff. I thank GOD she wasn't there when I had my procedures performed. I probably would of turned around and left. They should really consider placing her in the back alone and replacing her with someone who greats patients with a smile, who is friendly and approachable. Her energy is a STERN CONTRADICTION compared to the rest of the friendly, compassionate, empathetic smiles of the rest of the staff. If you can avoid her, I'd advise you to do just that. Besides her blank cold stare upon entry, THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! My best friend is now a patient here as well and she loves it too. One of a KIND STAFF! I WILL CONTINUE TO VISIT HERE

Fantastic experience: Amazing office and care from the staff. Everyone was amazing from the time I called them and told them I had a complication from a previous dental office a few days ago. The staff seen me same day immediately and fixed my dry socket that I had gotten from another facility. The dental hygienist was incredible and performed a very harmless nerve block in my mouth. The provider was calm and reassuring and explained everything that he was going to do and made sure I understood everything. This office had me feeling very comfortable all the way through my appointment. When I walked in I was in a LOT of pain, however, when I left after my procedure for my dry socket I had no pain even after the numbing medicine had worn off! Thank you to everyone in that office, you guys are the dream team!!!!!

With their humble professionalism, reassurance & thorough knowledge, Misty & Dr. Bryant quelled those fears from the moment they started working on me. They were more than happy to explain what needed to be done to get my teeth back in shape & repeat it a few times so I, not being in the medical field, could properly understand. I was then given appropriate services within the hour and was relieved of the excruciating pain that initially led me to this office. As a new patient, I was treated kindly and now, several days later, I’m healing well. I would absolutely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Leo has been my dentist since 2016 when I came to him with severe periodontal issues. It has been a long journey but he and his staff have taken good care of me including seeing me quickly when something unexpected occurred. Fantastic experience: I love that Tryon dentistry is up with the latest dental equipment to make the exam thorough . Dr Yoo thoroughly explained the issues with my teeth and the process to go through with repair and what to expect during the procedure. She also addressed my bone loss and how to proceed with Laser cleaning. This is the first Dentist visit that I felt comfortable understanding what was the treatment plan.

Fantastic experience: Very careful and concerned. Dr. Bryant checks constantly during procedures to make sure patient is comfortable. If she likes the song on the sound system, she will sing along, which makes things fun. If you ask nicely, she will show you a picture of her very cute child. The office staff are very nice and helpful and Abby is the bomb.

Fantastic experience: I’m not going back to this dentist office . I made an appointment to get my teeth cleaned and they said that they didn’t have time to do it but yet they had time to give me the x rays I kept telling the hygienist to clean my teeth and do the x rays on the next visit but she said it’s mandatory to do ex rays first which I new was BS but I held back from telling her . I originally refused the x rays but for some reason I let her talk me into it but I regret doing that because I should have.just walked out . The hygienist and the dentist were not personalable at all . They were very robotic and it made me feel like I won’t welcome . And it got worse when I checked out because they didn’t even make a follow up appointment like every doctor under the sun does . They used the excuse that my insurance wasn’t active it was in a waiting period . I called my insurance when I got home and they said my insurance was active and they paid for the X rays . So needless to say I will find another dentist

Negative experience: Didn’t get to experience actual service from this practice although I was excited from the reviews. It wasn’t until I drove to the office and got in the chair when I was told there was an insurance issue and I would need pay out of pocket or file my own claims. A cell the day or morning of would have been nice and saved everyone’s time.

Fantastic experience: I have extreme dental anxiety. After neglecting my mouth for over a decade, I found Dr. Bryant and for the first time ever, I’m actively going to the dentist… without the anxiety or shame. (And if you know, you know how deep that shame can run.) Dr. Bryant is knowledgeable, patient, calming & honestly, just cool. You can tell she takes pride in her work, not only because she cares deeply about her patients, but because she holds herself and her team to an incredibly high standard. Every hygienist I’ve seen here has been wonderful. They validate my fears, work with my anxiety and make the whole process feel safe and manageable. From the operational side as someone who has worked in healthcare for over 15 years this office is top-tier. They’re friendly, communicative, and scheduling is genuinely easy. They’re responsive by phone, text, and email. The insurance team walks you through financial plans without the usual headache or confusion. When I was uninsured, they provided self-pay options that made care possible. They’ve even hosted free dental clinics I've been able to take advantage of - that’s how much I trust this office to let professionals learn and practice under their guidance. They’ve also helped me manage dental work tied to my chronic health issues, and they’ve done it with compassion and efficiency. They also offer sedation which … I have obviously taken advantage of. I take medical care seriously, and my fear of dentistry is extreme so please understand how much weight I put behind this review. I recently had my first baby, and I wouldn’t trust my mouth or my baby’s with anyone but Dr. Bryant. Thank you Tryon for being there for me. I love you guys & your music. If I HAVE to be at the dentist, I’m glad I’m at this dentist. Xo

Fantastic experience: I have a real fear of the dental chair so I only went to the Dentist for emergencies. A friend recommended Dr. Leo and I've been coming regularly now for almost 5 years. Dr. Leo and his staff are excellent. Walking in the door is like coming home, the office is comfortable and peaceful and the staff are very friendly. Dr. Leo does an excellent job, is very thorough and his rates I find are better than most. I'm a patient for life.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! This practice is working to help me overcome dental anxiety. The staff and doctors have been patient and kind through this difficult process. They are obviously experienced in working with those who suffer from severe dental anxiety. They have also done excellent dental work and have given me a smile that I can be proud of for the first time since I had my front teeth knocked out. I would definitely recommend this practice and their affiliated practice called Highland Implants.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a bridge for 6 teeth, had to have three root canals done. The dentists here are absolutely amazing, never thought the procedure would be so painless. The worst part was the numbing as I don’t like needles. However the dentist that administered it was extremely thorough and made the process painless. Would absolutely recommend this office!!!

Negative experience: I went in for my first appointment to have X-rays taken and to get my teeth cleaned. After an hour and a half, all I got was the X-rays and an estimate for $11,000 to have work done. They are located 30 miles away, and now they want me to come back this Thursday and Friday to clean half of my mouth each time.

Negative experience: Missed one appointment since becoming a patient and the office manager refuses to wave a $50 fee posted on my account. If I was a repetitive offender, I could understand, but life happens and I called the next day to apologize and reschedule. They have no compassion towards their loyal patients. I will NOT be going back.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful Medical Practice! You feel valued and appreciated the moment you walk in. Great team from the receptionist Sidney to Amber the care coordinator, and Dr Leo ‘s surgical assist Kasey. I went to three different Implant centers before I made my decision to deal with Tryon Family Dentists and Highland Implant Center. I was explained the procedure by Dr Leo him self after being briefed by Amber. He took the time to explain everything to me and even took me on a tour of the facilities. I particularly was impressed by his robotic assistant Yomi . Yes a robotic implant assistant.This resulted in very little post surgery discomfort, bruising, and pain if any. Also the surgery was performed precisely by the robot with Dr Leo’s guidance.I can go on but …. Make an appointment for a consult and see for yourself. You will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: My experience wonderful! There was a welcoming atmosphere the staff was friendly knowledgeable and greeted me smiles. I met with Dr.Leo, he’s very knowledgeable compassionate and confident in his work. I think I found my new dentist!!

Negative experience: Please do not use this place at all!!!! I went to Tryon Family Dentistry in Raleigh and was seen by Dr Sameera. I had pain in my back tooth. After numerous x rays the Dr decided I didn’t need a root canal but to do crowns for both of my back teeth. I understood the back one needed it but the one next to it I wasn’t so sure about. But they convinced me that it would be smart to do both at the same time once they numb me anyway. I went back for that crown work and they had hard time to get me numb (should be a clear sign for a doctor that I have an infection somewhere there). When they were working in my mouth, in comes a young nurse just to stand there and doctor seemed to be more interested to talk with her about showering in the gym weather it lives them feeling dirty or not than concentrating on the work she is doing in my mouth. After a 5 hour session and $25000 I go home and realize after 2 weeks that the pain is still there. I went back and Doctor Sameera was still convinced that it’s just the biting and she will file the new crown down a bit. The pain she caused me made me jump in the chair. They took another x rays and all of the sudden now they admit that I needed a root canal the first place. They said they would not be able to do that so I would be forced to go to another dentist office and it will cost me almost $2000 to get the root canal done. I contacted the manager Amber and first she agreed that they would do the root canal for free (still not admitting they did anything wrong). Then she called me back that now they can’t do that and I would have to go to another place after all and paying it my self. Do not, I repeat do not go to this place unless you know you need a simple cleaning… and as you can see from someone else’s review, be careful even then since they like to do extra and charge you. Now I’m left with horrible pain and more financial hit and Dr Sameera continues to do her damage and her manager Amber supporting her to do so.

Fantastic experience: I recommend the Tryon Family Dentistry because when I went for my regular cleaning of my teeth I was treated with a loving care professionally. Fantastic experience: I was really nervous coming in- everyone from start to finish was extremely kind. I work in the medical field as well and can really appreciate a well run clinic. Dr. Leo was very comforting as well

Negative experience: Every single time I left, I left with more pain. 1) I had a crown on top of a live nerve that got infected and needed a root canal. They “checked” it by putting the crown on the table and numbed the nerve. They said they would put the crown back but they didn’t and they just sent me home. An hour later I was in an incredible pain because my nerve was exposed to air. I had to disinfect and put the crown back. The dentist did not apologize for this. 2) Throwing tools on your patient is never okay. The dentist would use a tool and would throw it on me as if I was a toolbox or something. 3) “We are going to give you instructions about what to do” they didn’t. I waited and waited and it took them 1 week to send “post operation instructions”. 4) “We are going to explain to you the medication” they didn’t. I asked for the front lady for the prescription that they forgot to give me and googled what they were. 5) Every single crown I have gotten was porcelain and I usually had to wait for it to come from a lab. When they said “oh we are going to do the root canal and crown the same day” I was surprised. They said they had their own lab. I said okay… It turns out that they do a crown with the same material with fillings. It has only been a few months but this poor quality crown already started to deteriorate. 6) The first time I left their office they gave me a prescription but didn’t explain anything. It turns out they were very strong immunosuppressants that messes with hormones and mental focus. Warnings or explanations are that the things they do around here. 7) Lastly they said some of the operations were covered by insurance but they were not and I got quite a surprising bill much later on.

Fantastic experience: Hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had at the dentist. The staff is friendly, professional, understanding and patient but also timely and thorough.

Negative experience: There are so many positive reviews about this clinic just because the staff at the reception smiled and spoke nicely to customers. I believe people go to a dentist for quality treatment, not for polite small talk. I went in for a regular teeth cleaning—my first visit to this clinic for cleaning. I specifically requested not to have any additional X-rays because I had all the necessary images taken just four months ago. Justifying unnecessary X-rays under the guise of “ethics” is the height of arrogance, especially toward those who can’t immediately express their dissatisfaction due to a language barrier. Right before the cleaning, the dentist confirmed that they wouldn’t perform any extra procedures that cost additional money. The cleaning itself was a complete joke! Out of the 40-minute appointment, the actual cleaning lasted no more than 5 minutes. A tiny brush with some paste—that’s it! Exactly what I do myself twice a day at home. I was absolutely shocked by such a poor excuse for a dental service. I never expected that a 5-minute brushing with paste could be called a professional cleaning. BUT! On top of this pointless procedure, they added: X-rays for $140 An "exam" for $100 When I complained, the manager didn’t even bother to come to the reception. I was literally told: "Sorry, here’s your bill." I walked out with a $346 bill and a strong feeling that I was completely scammed. I strongly discourage anyone from trusting the positive reviews and using this clinic’s services.

Fantastic experience: Always the best care even after 13 years. I was one of Dr. Leo’s first patients; while he has expanded & moved, he continues to hire the best staff who are on poibt hygenists and other dentists. I do miss seeing Dr. Leo directly. My teeth are in good hands.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Tryon Family Dentistry. Dr. Bryant saved my teeth when other dentists wanted to sxtract them and give me implants or a partial denture. She listened to me when I said I wanted to keep my teeth. I am very happy with the treatment I received at Tryon Family Dentistry. I will continue to go there for my dental needs.

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere is very relaxing. The facility is spotless, and the employees are very friendly and professional. They took the time to answer the questions that I had and made sitting in the dentist chair a comfortable one. Of course the music helped also. Would recommend this dentistry to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I just switched to Tryon Family Dentistry after becoming unhappy with my old dentist and I’m so glad I did! Their appointment book fills up early it seems so be sure to think ahead. It seemed like all women in the office, which I loved, ‘the vibes are immaculate’ as they say. They have a bunch of high tech equipment I’ve never heard of before - the handheld xray machine made taking xrays wayyy more comfortable and the ultrasonic tool used to clean my mouth was cool too. The tech also took pictures of my teeth with something that looked like a chunky pen. A lovely dentist did both my exam and my cleaning, and the most important thing is that she was so gentle on my mouth! I didn’t get stabbed in the gums once, which happened a lot at my old dentist. They did make me wait in the chair for fifteenish minutes between exam and cleaning but I was in and out in under an hour anyway so who cares? The office is large, clean, and modern looking. Overall I’m very happy with my experience as a new patient.

Fantastic experience: From the first day walking in the door!!!!!! OMG!!!!!! Everything is so extraordinary. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help and advise. The Doctors are super caring and like angels.
