Positive experience: My procedure was much more painful than I thought it would be. The doctor would not give me enough pain medicine to sufficiently control the pain. If I had it to do over, and knowing what i know now, I don't believe I would have done it.

If he isn't sure or know all about my problems, he talks with his associates to figure out the solution. Thank you so much Dr. Owens!

Positive experience: The only thing I would do for improvement is for the hygienist to tell you their name when they come get you. Introduce yourself so we know what to call you.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, helpful, caring, and polite staff. They make you feel comfortable, so you trust them as they do your dental work. Amanda makes me feel comfortable and not think about what she is doing. I'm one who doesn't like to go to the dentist.

Positive experience: I went with Owens dental for my dentures. Everything was great until I had my dentures and all appointments from then on for re adjustments was a long waiting time with the last one being almost an hour of waiting after having been taken back. I arrived before my appointment time, was called back and the doctor had stepped into the room before leaving again and didn’t return for almost an hour while I sat there waiting. Prior to receiving my dentures there was no long waiting time, only after receiving them, and corrections needed to be made, I had extended waiting periods with no explanation as to why.

Negative experience: Today was a horrible day at Owens dental and the matter of an hour and 25 minutes I received 10 fillings without any previous knowledge. My mouth is so sore and I was so swollen from all the numbing agent that I could not even swallow on the drive home I have never had a bad experience before, but I always paid cash. Nathan Owens actually did the procedure and I am amazed as him being the owner that he would even attempt to do 10 fillings in one setting he laughed about the fact that I thought I was getting two he never confirmed that it was going to be 10 my mouth and my cheeks are so very sore and it triggered my Multiple sclerosis From all the trauma. I am terrified of having to go back and get one of the fillings refilled this is unacceptable and no one should have to put up with this pain

Fantastic experience: This is the only dentist office I have ever felt comfortable and wanted to return to. Everyone is so nice and non judgmental. I have always hated going to the dentist and due to not having the best teeth, always feel judged. That is not the case here and I’m so glad to find a good dentist office! They take the time to explain everything to you and make sure you understand and are comfortable. Amanda the hygienist is amazing as well! Unfortunately, I don’t remember the names of the other staff I have encountered.

Negative experience: Avoid Owens Family and Cosmetic Dentistry at all costs. I went in expecting and paying for a root canal and crown, but all I ever got was a poorly done crown that has failed multiple times. Instead of doing the root canal as promised, they kept dragging me back for “repairs” and excuses, trying to save the tooth when that’s not what I agreed to or paid for. This feels like dishonest and deceptive practice. They charged me for treatment that was never actually done, and left me stuck with a crown that continues to cause problems. After all the wasted time, money, and pain, I have no trust left in this office. If you value your health, your time, and your money, stay away from Owens Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. So as of today, the same tooth I had fixed a couple months ago that I paid for a root canal Before now, after a crown, now it needs a root canal which I already paid for !! Now they want another 1200 It’s crazy. I can’t make this stuff up.

Once I got there I knew they couldn't put it back on since my jaws were locked but Alissa talked to me and asked Dr Taylor, since Dr Owen was out of the office what they could to help me. Alissa could have sent me on my way, but instead, she wanted to try and make me feel better. Alissa is the best!!!!!.

Negative experience: The staff is amazing and so nice but I got some fillings done in Dec of 24 and it’s now July of 25 and i still can’t even eat on that side of my mouth I have been back 5 times and it’s still not fixed but the staff is so sweet just wish they could get my mouth fixed

Fantastic experience: Dr. Owens and his staff are AWESOME!!! My husband has not had to have dental work done except cleanings. Today he had several teeth removed and was extremely nervous, especially since he never had any teeth removed. He didn't feel a thing, he said, Dr. Owen and Briley was great! Shout out to the ladies upfront helped keep an eye on my daughter while I sat with hubby to help ease his aniexty. Thank you Owen's Dental!

I was unable to get my teeth cleaned today due to a power outage, however Lydia was being cautious because of my recent knee replacement surgery and had questioned if we needed to proceed. I appreciate her knowledge and concern so we decided to reschedule in 6 months.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth that was giving me a lot of pain. They did offer different options for me to deal with the tooth. I choose to just pull the tooth out. The process was so painless to the point I didn’t even know the doctor had pulled the tooth out. I would recommend this dentist office to everyone. The staff were very friendly and understanding. I will make this my regular dentist office from this point on.

Positive experience: My visit today started out as normal; my hygienist did her normal good job and then Dr. Carter did a good check as is normal. This is were it took a bad turn; Dr. Carter said I would need to have a "deep clean" on some teeth and she explained why. She said we would set this up for later and the process would be explained when we set it up. I then waited for explanation and when called up to the window I was asked when it would be good to do and it's $416.00 dollars. I asked what it entailed and was told - like a cleaning but only on certain teeth. I asked how long and was told about an hour. I asked if I could pay when I have it done, a month from now, and was told no, needs to be paid when appointment is set up. I am still not sure what is going to be done and why it costs 4 times more than my regular cleaning. Is all I know from the doctor is that my readings should be from 1 to 3 and I am at 5 right now. Either the doctors or office staff need to be a little more forthcoming on what is being done. And no reason why I had to pay before other than "it's policy". My first good/bad visit here.

The clinical staff meet these qualities but the front desk personnel loudly announce your business to be heard by everyone in the waiting room from the balance on your account to the card you are paying with. Fantastic experience: I have been to many dentists in my life and I can honestly say that Dr. Matt Owens goes above and beyond for his patients.. The staff treats you like family! The office is very clean, the entire experience is fabulous and if you are scared of the dentist as bad as I, then here is where you should come! He also does lip injections and I’ve had it done several times.. Not once did I have any pain and he did the BEST job I have ever had done!! On a scale from 1-10, I Dr. Matt Owens and his entire staff a 12.. “ GO SEE THEM BECAUSE THIS IS WHERE YOU ARE TREATED LIKE FAMILY!”

Fantastic experience: I had a crown come off. They were able to get me an appointment right away, repair it and send me on my way. With Christmas coming up I was worried I'd be stuck. What a great group of professionals and friendly people. They were awesome and I highly recommend them!

Negative experience: I have never had the best experience at this office. After 3 years, I had to try again because my dentures were made there. Dr. Owens was nice, as he always is and when we were done talking about what my options were, he asked me to wait while they got me a quote. I was left just sitting in the exam room and it wasn't till I went up front from the back that I realized nobody up there had a clue I was back there waiting. It is never a smooth experience at this office, from not keeping track of things being sent to a lab, to following up with the patient. I had to call them when my dentures were lost after being sent out by their office and never returned. I would not recommend this office for certain procedures.

Fantastic experience: They got me in the day I called (as a new patient) when I had a terrible abscess with facial edema and excruciating pain. I am a nurse and I knew that I simply needed an X-ray and some antibiotics to start. I contacted Tesa Reeves office first and the receptionist wasn't any help and without empathy informed me that she could get me in the later part of January (over a month later) Dr. Owens' staff were extremely helpful, caring and professional. I would definitely recommend them for any dental needs.

They do good, thorough dental work but also put a lot of emphasis on making the whole experience feel safe, positive, and clear. I would recommend them to anyone, but especially to anyone who gets nervous about seeing the dentist. Owens has made a big difference for my whole family.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I both use Owens Dental.Amanda is wonderful for cleanings and my husband has been impressed with Dr. Carter for dental procedures and implants. The staff are always friendly and professional. The best part is, it actually costs us less to pay cash for services than it did to pay for dental insurance and copays. They are a full service dental practice in Pulaski. We are thankful to have a local provider that can handle a wide range of issues! Highly recommend!
