Fantastic experience: Staff is very professional and nice and they took good care of me

Negative experience: My son got seen Friday due to a chipped tooth that happen at school but when we took him they didn’t check it correctly they said they were not told he was getting seen for chipped tooth even though I was the one who made the appointment but because dad took him they told me dad never mentioned it but clearly he did my son even told me he told the guy dentist his chipped tooth an it hurt. They failed to help him I had to make another appointment then at that appointment when I called to let them know I was running late due to work she told me they canceled cause they only do emergency’s I told her it was , she then told me ok then come in obviously they do not communicate cause I told them twice that day in the morning when verifying his appointment an also when I told them I’d be late but then again when arriving . Once I was leaving the lady in the front with glasses was very rude I called once I left because I forgot to get a doctors note and she told me they are up here once I tried to say thank u she hung up when I arrive for getting them I told her once again thank you she then ignored me i understand she was probably a bit frustrated with me cause so was I but as it is her job she should always be professional.

Fantastic experience: Been taking my child here since early August of 2025, from day one the staff here made us feel comfortable, everyone is kind and attentive, the dentist is great about explaining what she's doing before she proceeds, my son has no anxiety about coming here! Would recommend!

Positive experience: This was my third time going in. Everybody is really nice the only thing is I was supposed to have an appointment to get my wisdom teeth removed. I came in thinking I was going to get my teeth removed and I didn’t. I even had my son grandma look after him while I got my teeth removed and pumped a lot of milk for him to eat only to find out it was all for nothing and I didn’t end up getting my teeth removed. It wasn’t entirely their fault tbh it was the stupid surgeon’s fault.

Fantastic experience: Walked in and was greeted immediately with a friendly smile, all the staff was nice and polite, the dentist make sure you’re comfortable and relaxed, everything was explained and all questions were answered.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing visit. The staff was so helpful and patient with my infant son. Everyone was very kind and we were in and out. Special thanks to Irene, Lauren and Mariah for all of the extra help. They’re awesome!!!

Fantastic experience: Great, friendly staff! My kiddos love going and having the royal treatment each time. Thanks for being such a great kid-friendly environment. I especially love the massage chairs. It helps take the load off from a stressful day while waiting for my kids to be seen. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic experience: Everyone is always kind and helpful! I’m grateful they can see all 3 of my children at the same time, I know it can be a lot, however they handle it so smoothly. They are always understanding if I need to cancel or reschedule. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Positive experience: I was in for four wisdom teeth extractions, no one was specifically rude, however there was confusion from the counter about what kind of sedative I was getting even though I was told otp what I would be getting, the woman asked if what I was getting, in addition to that there is no bedside manner, none of the doctors introduced themselves to me, they just came in a started taking me what to do and it made me so much more anxious than I already was.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr. Jahagirdar! I had an emergency because my filling fell out, and my tooth was on the verge of becoming a serious problem. I called Family Smiles, and they got me scheduled in for the same day. They provided me with different options to help finance the visit. I ended up needing a root canal and crown, which is very expensive! So, I ended up finding a financial plan that would help me pay in increments instead of all at once, because, as we all know, a root canal is very expensive, and it's during Christmas time! Dr. Jahagirdar was amazing and attentive; he made me feel cared for and heard. I really appreciate all of the staff making sure I was comfortable and informed. Fantastic experience: I’m typically very anxious and scared at the dentist but everyone here was so nice. The atmosphere was so welcoming and my hygienist was very funny and made me feel more relaxed! The dentist was very patient with me and explained the next steps! They even gave me financing options. I 10000% recommend Family smiles, they were amazing

Fantastic experience: We just left our appointment and I have never had such a positive experience with any doctor ever! He usually cries really hard and they still proceed to go through and do the things that need to be done. His doctor today, insured that he was comfortable, and not once made my child cry! As soon as my son would start getting upset, he would back off and make sure my son felt comfortable before he kept going! Would highly recommend!

Negative experience: The dentist that was helping me was rude as ever did not feel welcoming besides the receptionist she was amazing ! Other than that the dentist poked me multiple times and got mad at me when I would move a bit bc it was hurting and she was rude to the lady helping her… it’s a nice place but not nice people

Fantastic experience: Dr Charmichael and his staff are definitely go getters! They meant business! They were very thorough, thoughtful, and quick! Not only did they take the time to discuss everything with me but they made sure my daughter was 100% before letting her leave. The whole process for her extractions was literally about 45 minutes from start to finish. No complaints! Clean and professional work, patient staff, and all were very knowledgeable! I'll be bringing my son here for his wisdom extractions as well❤️‍thank you all for making a scary procedure easy!

Negative experience: Since trying this place we have had nothing but negative experiences. We had sealants done on both of our children which they both fell out that same day! No they didn't charge us to put them back on. We had a filling scheduled for my son which he did have to be sedated. They did cut out a large portion of his tooth and filled it. In my opinion they took too much of his tooth!! Less than 3 weeks later the filling falls out!!! Now they want to sedate him again! No thanks something is definitely not right with the care. One of the doctors there made a comment that the doctor who did my son's doesn't do fillings. Imagine hearing this! I was livid! If they aren't experiened why schedule him for the procedure with that doctor. Only positive experience is the staff. They are friendly but not worth tramatizing my child. We definitely will not return and hope no one else experiences this.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at this dentist office. My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 pm for a new patient x-rays and a cleaning. They put me in a room at 12:05 but I didn’t get my x-rays until 12:30 pm and the doctor did a check up at 12:45pm. She asked if I had any issues with my teeth which I didn’t so she looked at them and then left. I waited again until 1:00 pm, when someone came in to polish my teeth which didn’t make any sense since I haven’t even had my cleaning yet. After polishing I asked her about the rest of my cleaning and she said I would have to either reschedule it for a later time or another day. The other option she gave me was to wait for the doctor to come out and when I asked how long the doctor would be she said she didn’t know. Mind you I’ve already been there for an hour and still haven’t gotten a full cleaning. This was frustrating to me because why polish my teeth if I’m not even getting a full cleaning? When I asked if this was normal she didn’t answer my question. As I was about to leave the front desk told me the doctor could do my cleaning in 10 minutes. By then I had already been waiting an hour with no communication on why it was taking so long or any delays. When the doctor finally did the cleaning, it felt very rushed. She just scraped my teeth quickly and didn’t even floss, which has always been part of every cleaning Ive had elsewhere. Over all the experience felt unorganized, rushed, and inconsiderate of my time. I left feeling like they just wanted to get me out the door instead of doing proper care. If I were you I would pick another office that would care about you and your experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ramya and her assistant Denise were amazing. I got a crown and it did not hurt me at all. Neida was geat checking me in for my visit as well. I definitely recommend this place for any dental work.

Positive experience: Very friendly staff and very helpful. The dentist we saw the 1st time was amazing but the dentist we saw today was definitely lacking. She was in the biggest rush I've ever seen in a dentist especially with little kids and didn't seem to care about the issue I had brought up. She immediately dismissed it and practically ran out of the room.

Positive experience: Had an appointment for my 2nd oldest today for a loose tooth. **They do not do the coins anymore, sadly, but they do have a drawer of prizes. Not many and not too exciting. My daughter picked 2 small dinosaur tattoos.** It was clean, walking in; there is a kids section with cartoons on the TV, tablet station and a table with chairs to color. The opposite side has 2 massage chairs and seating. The receptionist was kind and she was easy to understand. Very simple, helpful and informative. The nurse that was tending to my daughter was so genuine and sweet. Calling her friend and making her feel good The doctor was... Stern. My daughter's front tooth was pretty loose, but not loose enough to feel comfortable to yank it out(which is why I scheduled the appointment, so we can get it removed in a comfortable manner)That being said, we went with numbing jelly instead of a shot and as the doctor was rubbing it around the tooth, she began to pull it before letting it set to NUMB. My daughter, 5yo, could feel it and was not happy with it. I definitely did not appreciate that. It took a dental assistant to bring my baby ice cream and prizes to even calm down.. it took a minute. But in the end she is happy it's out, so she can eat without hurting and brush her teeth without it hurting. Plus, who doesn't love a visit from the tooth fairy..I would recommend going, but I would avoid that doctor. I need someone like their old dentist in Plainview. Such sweet sweet doctor's and anesthesiologists. Super smiles behind the hospital. If I had the gas to travel back and forth from Lubbock, I would!

Fantastic experience: This is by far one of the best dentists I've ever seen the office is amazing with a capital A. You walk in and the staff greets you with a genuine smile and how are you today. You look left you see a play area for the kids, you look right you see a play area for Dad! They have the best waiting room I've ever seen. The staff is very professional and very friendly and the dentist appeared very knowledgeable. My daughter-in-law found this place for her 1-year-old and I highly recommend it for infants on up. I was so impressed that I am booking an appointment for myself and my husband.

Fantastic experience: The people that worked there were very efficient. My appointment was at 2:00 & the service I got was quick. I walked out the door by 3:00. Had X-rays & deep cleaning. Travis was very gentle & did not hurt my mouth when he cleaned my teeth. I will be going back again. The service was excellent. The facility was really clean as well. Everything looked brand new & they have been there for 2 years.

The RDA Anna performed sealants on my 10 yr old and was amazing and patient. Dr. Hoffman removed my semi permanent retainer of 18 yrs after it halfway broke. Great experience, definitely recommend coming here.

Negative experience: Update: A few weeks after my children got dental cavities filled thier cavitie fillings came out, on both of my girls. My oldest lost her fillings the second week after procedure and my youngest the third week. Come to think about it that was the fastest cleaning and fillings they've ever had and the fillings were done by the denist. Now I get to find a new dentist to fix the open holes in their teeth, l highly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE..!
