Redwood Dental Warren

Fantastic experience: I started with Redwood Dental a little over a year ago and have had great care. I recently had a crown break and all that was left was the root. Having the roots removed was tough and took about 90 minutes. Dr. Blake Shaffue worked hard and did a great job on it and did a bone graph. I was sure the next few days would be so painful but it really wasn’t. The only suggestion I have is, more carefully communication with the patient during the procedure. I knew they were having trouble but not much info was communicated.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a dental provider who has the full package, look no further. Dr. Hanna is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and an overall superb dentist. Most providers with great skill lack bedside manor, but not Dr. Hanna. She is kind, compassionate, patient, explains everything, and makes sure that you are comfortable with everything ant that you understand what she is doing every step of the way. This resonates through her team as well...her coordinator and dental assistants are the best! If you want truly good people who care whole heartedly about their patients and that you can trust, go see Dr. Hanna and her team. Seriously, make an appointment today! Choosing to go anywhere else to see another provider would be doing yourself a serious disservice.

Negative experience: Be aware before entering this facility in Warren, Michigan. You go in with Teeth problems they do the x-rays the dentist comes in and pinpoint the problem. He then has to extract a tooth and that’s it. Well my insurance paid for the x-rays and the extraction which is the work that the Dentist did, but little do we know there’s an extra little fees that allows the dentist at this location to charge patients so they can pocket the extra money. My family has been going to this dentist for years and never once did we have any extra out of pocket expense so when I contacted my insurance and explained everything to them and they told me that This dental office used the wrong billing code so I reach back out to the Dentist office and apparently the billing department said no they use the right one so again it is a scam. It’s sad. Why do we pay dental insurance if the dentist can get away with doing this what else are we missing be aware.

Fantastic experience: I was so anxious before my appointment, but from the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel at ease. Arianna was truly made for her job she didn’t just treat me as someone with dental problems, she treated me like a human being. Her kindness left me in tears when I left the office. Hanna, the dentist, was equally amazing she explained everything with such ease and made me feel truly seen. The front staff were also so kind and welcoming (sorry I didn’t get their names!). This was an experience unlike any I’ve ever had before. Thank you to the entire team!

Fantastic experience: I had a terrible toothache and they saw me ASAP to evaluate and diagnose. Went back later that day and they did a root canal which relieved the massive pain I was in and they did it a timely manor. So thankful for the wonderful staff and Dentist Dr. Hanna. I also liked the office itself very lively with many patients. I usually go to the St. Clair Shores location but they were totally booked up that day so they recommended the Warren location both locations were very helpful.

Fantastic experience: Maria cleaned my teeth and does a very good since I don't always floss like I should. In the past when I got my teeth cleaned I almost got a lecture so I almost always did not like going to the dentist. I still don't like going but Maria Is just cleans my teeth and when I feel discomfort she tells me that is the result of not flossing.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a cleaning done by Kelli. I have been going here for years. Kelli is very professional and being that it was 96 degrees outside, I was in no hurry to leave her care.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday, I had the pleasure of becoming a new patient at Redwood Dental in Warren, Michigan. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist, who made the check-in process seamless and helped me with my forms and insurance information. The waiting area was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, which added to the positive first impression. Michele then brought me back for x-rays and a scan of my teeth. She was incredibly friendly and had a calm, comforting presence that instantly put me at ease. Dr. Brannagan came in shortly after and thoroughly reviewed my x-rays with me. He took the time to ask about any concerns I had and what I liked or didn’t like about my teeth. During the exam, he identified a tooth with a soft or sticky area that may need a crown in the future. I appreciated his honest and thoughtful approach to the evaluation. Overall, I had a very positive experience and felt genuinely cared for by the entire team. I’m happy to have found such a professional and welcoming dental office.

Fantastic experience: First time visitor. Great Experience. Before I went for my appointment I considered this a dreadful situation, but after I entered the office things changed. I met staff that were kind and professional. Dr. Brannagan DDS explained the issues and provided me with sensible solutions. He took his time to answer my questions. Everyone I met at the office had a patient first attitude, they were friendly and caring. I feel confident that my issues will be completely resolved in a timely manner. I was very impressed by the Redwood Dental team.

Positive experience: I thought I posted this 6 mos ago and I didn't. So this is for December 2024. I'd just like to say that my Hygienist, Stacy, was amazing. She went above and beyond by taking her coat off and coming back in to help me when all other Hygienists were busy or gone. The website is tricky when scheduling and it turned out I had not scheduled a cleaning at 4pm like I thought! Not only did Stacy stay over to help me but her service was, by far, the best I've had. It's been years since I had a cleaning and there was no pain! She was kind, gentle, and understanding and I truly appreciate her! She deserves FIVE stars. I gave a 4 star review due to the website being tricky and the whole staff being aware of it but not changing it.

Fantastic experience: Traci, my dental hygienist, was very thorough in cleaning my teeth. She showed me how to clean my bridge and suggested the use of an electric toothbrush. She is very helpful and professional and I highly recommend her.

Negative experience: Avoid this office — especially because of Stacy, the store manager. She gave wrong info about insurance twice, leading to surprise bills. When questioned, she was rude, dismissive, and blamed insurance instead of fixing their mistakes. I’ve reached out multiple times, and no one has contacted me back. Get everything in writing — don’t trust her word.

Negative experience: My daughter had a painful toothache. When I called them I told them she had been up all night crying and asked them if they had any availability. They got her in and did an X-ray. My daughter kept sobbing in pain, office employee told us she needed to keep it down, she was freaking out the kid in the next room. Right after that they recommended us to a specialist. They didn’t look in her mouth or try to help figure out something for the pain. Didn’t clean the area or anything. Went to another dentist same day, they couldn’t complete the needed work but got her numbed up, cleaned, and closed back up until we could see a specialist.

Negative experience: I have already done as suggested by "the owner" and explained my issue to them directly via online contact. I don't believe those communications are monitored. I have spoken to several of the office staff as well. They apparently don't share anything with anyone higher up. What I expressed to them should have prompted someone to follow up with me immediately and address my concerns and difficulties. I regret going here in the first place. I see from other reviews that my negative experience is not uncommon, and that trying to ACTUALLY contact "the owner" is a waste of time.

Fantastic experience: The Doctors, Dental Assistants and Office personnel at Redwood in Warren on 13 mile road are true professionals. Their professionalism is truly exceptional. They do their best in making you feel comfortable and part of a family.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Dr. Fadia Hanna during my emergency dental exam. From the moment I walked in, the office environment was warm, welcoming, and spotlessly clean. The assistant (Heather) was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. Dr. Hanna herself was thorough, professional, and genuinely caring, explaining everything in a way that was easy to understand. The treatment coordinator (Pamela) and the rest of the front-desk staff were equally impressive, handling everything with efficiency and a friendly attitude. This staff embodies the spirit of a team. I’m so grateful for their quick response and top-notch care. Highly recommend Dr. Fadia Hanna, this practice, and this team to anyone in need of a dentist.

Negative experience: Lady answered the phone talking In slow motion then laughed at me when I asked how much an X Ray would cost and said I would need to set an appointment obviously but I don’t see what was funny gonna laugh at the wrong one eventually.. very unprofessional stuck up attitude

Fantastic experience: My whole family goes here including my mom and dad and two young kids. We loveee them. The assistant, Heather, made my three year daughter feel so comfortable during a filling that she had no problem sitting still for them and not a single cry!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bouchillon and staff are amazing. My husband and I are always greeted with a smile the second we walk into Redwood Dental. We have been patients of Dr. Bouchillon for sixteen years and pass many other dental offices on our thirteen mile drive to the Warren location for his services and his amazing hygienist, Stacy.

They have a very upbeat environment that makes me want to return for all of my dental care. My entire household are proud to be patients here. They actually make us feel like family. Fantastic experience: Redwood dental on 13 mile by schoenner is the best. Been going there for 36 years with no problems after my teeth were worked on. Dr. Bouchellon is the best. There is a very talented group of people working here. Never had any problems after any procedure I have ever had. They're the best. Its been a few years since this post. It's been 39 years now. I wouldn't go anywhere else. So professional and skilled . Staff is great too.

She was informative and consistently making sure I was comfortable during my X-Rays, the other staff there also seemed to have a positive attitude and were very welcoming . From the moment I called this place I was greeted with kindness and concern, they made setting up and appointment super easy . Fantastic experience: Everybody knows or should know Dr Bouchillon is the best dentist in the state of Michigan. His skills have been fine-tuned and honed after many years of experience. His training at the University of Michigan included extensive training which most dentists never have a chance to experience. Dr Bouchillon takes care with every single patient. He treats them as though they were family. He makes sure you're comfortable you don't experience any pain and he does meticulous work. I have been going to Dr Bouchillon for over 20 years his work is the best you're ever going to see. He is a master when it comes to gold crowns and white crowns. Thank you Dr Bouchillon and thank you Redwood Dental.

Negative experience: At first the front desk staff is helpful and attentive to get your business, but once I made my appointment I found out I would be late so I called to reschedule. They insisted I come in anyway while I said I would pay the fee because I work midnight and need to be in bed soon. After I get there I wait 30 mins in the waiting room, then they numb me and start drilling away the cavity and leave me in there for almost an HOUR! If I didn't have a hole in my tooth I would've left right then. Once they finally came back I calmly told them I needed more numbing anesthesia because I waited so long and I felt everything, they acted like they were shocked I even brought it up. The rest of the procedure was personal and uncomfortable I wouldn't choose this dentistry if I were you. And always get a second opinion,especially if they tell you you need 5 grand plus in work.

My every time routine hygiene teeth cleaning or any other appointment is always like family or friends meeting with no discomfort, no pain, just joyful meeting. Fantastic experience: Redwood Dental is great. I go to the location in Warren on 13 Mile Road. I went to them for years and then the company I worked for changed dental insurance to Guardian Dental HMO and the insurance was horrible. Redwood didn't accept that insurance and now I know why. Fast forward 10 years I got a new job that has Delta Dental Insurance. I couldn't be happier to go back to Redwood Dental. Everyone that works there are very kind, polite, just down right great people. I would highly recommend Redwood Dental.

Fantastic experience: First, let me start with from my first appointment ever Dr. Patel made me the most comfortable than any dentist I have been to in my life. She cares, listens, empathetic, and acts fast in the care of what an individual needs. She did not critique or belittle me like many dentist do unfortunately. Let's talk about the staff, very friendly, accommodating. I have to give a special shout out to Kennedy and she is the sweetest and most kind person. Fantastic experience: When I moved to Michigan I had to find a new dentist and that is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. It’s also like finding your hairstylist if you women know what I mean. My husband recommended redwood dental but specifically in Warren, MI as he’s been going there for a while now and enjoys his dentist and hygienist. He wanted me to see his Dentist at first but I decided to give Redwood a try and just take a chance on anyone who I could see as soon as possible. My first cleaning was with Stephanie and I met Dr Patel! They’re both amazing people! I’m very big on first impressions and these two definitely were a pleasure! It’s kind of weird to be able to be so comfortable with anyone after they’ve worked on your mouth and hygiene but these two did not make it awkward at all! They’re so professional and nice! I would highly recommend Stephanie and Dr. Patel!

Fantastic experience: My experience was like a family reunion. In fact I as well as several other clients discussed how long they had been coming to Redwood’s. The elderly man had lasting details of the staff. The conversation led to Real estate and the costly housing within Warren. The dental hygienist, and other staff familiar with clients and as always very professional.

Positive experience: Hair on her gloves and when I brought it to her attention she removed the hair then put the same gloves in my mouth. Hair on utensils. Hair on her clothes. Xray hurt and bleeding gums. She has long straight hair. I have dark curly hair. Patients name is Alexa

Fantastic experience: I had to see them as an emergency and had an appointment within 3 hours. I went to the original office in about 1970 and happy they're still around! I'm sure my childhood X-rays are still there somewhere! Dr. Patel and her assistant (how I wish I could remember her name...I'm sorry!) were so friendly and made me feel like I've been been going there for years! The assistant even remembered the name of one of the original dentists, which was so cool lol. Definitely will be returning!

Fantastic experience: Stacy is an angel! She has always been an angel when it comes to the scraping part of a cleaning. With my old dentist, I experienced pain in my gums at my bottom teeth after a cleaning, and with Stacy, I’ve had that problem once, maybe twice after a cleaning! During my routine cleaning on May 7, the noise the scraping tools on my teeth made me cringe, and Stacy apologized, thinking she poked me with one of the tools, but I explained to her that the noise of the tools on my teeth sometimes bugs me, which I’m sure is common for most people. I love Stacy, and the other staff at Redwood Warren, so much! I wish I could give her more than five stars!

Fantastic experience: First visit but the place is extremely clean. The staff is very polite, helpful I felt very at ease. I was very happy with my first visit. I think I found my new dentist home.
