Fantastic experience: If I could give 6, or even 10 stars I would. I had gone to two other dental offices, one started out as a good experience, but it seemed as though the cap was met with insurance so did the good experience. The other was just not great from the beginning and went downhill from there. The team at Rigby Dental has been awesome from the beginning and have gone up from there. Every person in either location has been friendly and efficient at everything they’ve done. Dr. Evans is phenomenal. Everything is explained before and during the procedure in a relaxed and professional manner. If you are in search of a dental office this is where you should go. Update: I’ve had a couple new appointments and Rigby Dental is the absolute best. They are very attentive to your needs and work to alleviate any concerns. Update #2: Still the very best. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it. Update #3: Dr. Evans is the best dentist I’ve ever seen. He explains everything he is going to do and why. The crew he has working with him is wonderful. They are knowledgeable and are always thinking of patient care as well. Rigby Dental should be your first call for if you need a dentist. Update #4: Rigby Dental is the dental office all other dental offices should be judged against.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Rigby Dental since 2012. Today I had a very thorough but gentle cleaning by Sarah. At 76, I appreciate the friendliness and professionalism of this office staff.

My brother referred me to him and his teeth are beautiful. Dr Rigby staff is equally kind and knowledgeable. They’re the sweetest girls!! I’m so glad I decided to go there!! I don’t want to forget the bathroom.. it’s nice and clean and smells good!!

Negative experience: Crown fell out after 3 months and it was really sore the entire time. This visit makes me hesitate to ever want to go to the dentist again. Just going to leave the crown out for now because it doesn’t hurt anymore. Oh yeah, I take excellent care of my teeth.

Great bedside manner and I just felt like the Dr genuinely cared about me as the patient and helping me get the best options for the work I need. This was by far my best dentist appointment and I don’t say that lightly. I had two crowns and and implant started.

Fantastic experience: Today I received my first crown and also a filling. I was impressed with the experience. Dr. Evans and his AWESOME assistant Asho (I may have misspelled her name) who both made, what could have been a stressful procedure, feel comfortable and manageable. Asho and Dr. Evans have a wonderful way of explaining each step during the process in terms that are fast and easy to understand. BOTH, took the time to explain the step and why, which helped ease any anxiety I had about the procedure. Both are personable and even added some humor to lighten the mood. :) The office has modern technology that made the crown. I was glad they could clear my old tooth, then create and place the crown in a single visit. In and out in a few hours. From the front desk staff to the clinical team, everyone was friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about providing quality care. Thank you for taking care of me. I'm sure you treat everyone the same though I appreciate the personal attention to detail.

Positive experience: The dental assistant was way too rough. She poked my gums hard multiple times while cleaning my teeth. Then she was rough putting on the polishing gel and flossing. She needs to slow down and take her time.

Fantastic experience: I've been to two of their locations. Although the Sandy location is closer the West Jordan location is still closer than going all the way to Foothill, where the VA dentists are located. It's a nice change that I'm able to go somewhere that's not militar, and the waiting time is a lot quicker. Rigby Dental rocks! I sure hope the VA Dental has long waiting lists so the community care will continue sending me out in town. Thanks community care! Thanks Rigby Dental. Oh, We work with Merri, the VA bills coordinator. Merri is able to make sure Rigby Dental gets paid for all the service member appointments. Thank you Merri!

Fantastic experience: My appointment went well. There was not a long wait time. I have had two appointments with Dr Evans recently and I am very happy with the results. No pain or sensitivity.

Fantastic experience: I have struggled to find a good dentist office in the area. Thankfully some family recommended Rigby Dental. Everyone in the office is very welcoming and I always feel well taken care of. Dr jones has done an amazing job on all dental work I have come in for. Also, they are so great with kids! My daughter is 3 and loves it there! I will definitely keep going to Rigby for my cleanings and dental work!

Negative experience: I've been with Rigby Dental for 6 years with a year gap. There is a high turn over of new dentists and office administrators which may be indicative of underlying issues. I loved them at the beginning. Great dentists and administrative staff that understood insurance. I moved for a year and had a great dentist in Houston. The fillings that have been put in since then have tended to chip, fracture my teeth, and not last very long. Previous fillings including the ones in Houston have had no such issues. They do not chart or document well on what procedures the patient actually wants done and instead go ahead with procedures after the patient is already in the chair. Scheduling has been incredible difficult with moving appointments over a week in advance but still being charge a no show fee that took months to get removed. I am very sad and disappointed in the quality of care, and I will not be returning. I am less than impressed with Dr Rigby and his taking accountability for what happens.

The office is always amazingly friendly, helpful and patient. The dental technicians are always concerned about my comfort even offering a blanket. Fantastic experience: I have severe dental anxiety and life long chronic health problems which has absolutely wrecked my mouth in the last year. Dr. Evans has been an absolute legend and godsend for me. His no nonsense straight shooter approach is exactly what I need in a provider. He was extremely attentive and kept checking in on my anxiety levels throughout the procedure. I also wanted to shout out to Shelby the hygienist who did an incredible job with making sure I was calm and completely numb. What a magician! She administered the anesthetic with little to no discomfort. I haven’t ever had a better experience than I did with her. Just going to the dentist would have sent me into a full blown panic meltdown in the past, but I am happy to report that I am feeling really good, calm, and happy with the results of the work done so far. Thank you Dr. Evans and everyone at Rigby Dental for turning my dental experience into a positive one instead of yet another traumatic one.

Fantastic experience: What a lovely office and friendly staff. Dr Rigby and Dr Evan’s are highly skilled and very caring. My visit was excellent, from the front office Meg, Kayley and Bridgette who worked hard to get an appointment that fit my schedule to Kristin and my hygienist Shelbie who took very good care of my teeth and were super patient with me. Even passing sweet Elli in the hall for a quick hello. Busy office but people matter here. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Negative experience: I wish I was better prepared for my dental procedure. No one explained what to expect afterwards, I had no idea I would have stitches and need to wait 4 months for a crown, or get a bone graft. I signed consent forms without the doctor speaking to me or offering to answer questions. The staff is very nice but no one talked to me during the procedure to explain what was happening so it caused more stress. They also were socializing amongst one another while I laid there wondering what was happening. I know this is very normal for the staff, but it would help to remember this is likely the first time your patient is experiencing this and has no idea what to expect.

I was able to fix a filling, get a crown, and get measured and evaluated for clear correct all in the same appointment today. Same day, permanent crowns have been a game changer and they have been doing it for years. Everything is always very efficient at their office.

Fantastic experience: Shelbie, my dental hygienist at Rigby Dental is extremely thorough and conscientious about her work. She does so without making my gums sore. I leave her office with nice clean teeth. She is extremely friendly and interested in my family. She has fun personality, very easy to talk to. She has recommended recently a whitening for me which I followed through with and it helped my teeth look a lot nicer. Fantastic experience: I had a cleaning done by Sarah - she was efficient and professional while maintaining as much friendly conversation as one can while putting tools in your mouth. She is very confident and competent and managed to turn, what I was expecting to be a 2 hour grueling session into just 40 minutes of mild discomfort at the worst. While I will never look forward to getting any dental work done- I know Sarah and Rigby dental will make it as pleasant as possible.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for *years* and they’ve always been amazing. Today Madison did a whitening for me - she was wonderful! Explained beforehand everything she was going to do, and then explained again as she was doing it. Painless, minimal discomfort, and she checked in with me frequently during the process. AND! She didn’t get any bleach on my gums, like, at ALL! Nicely done, Madison!
