Fantastic experience: Wow! What a collection of quietly competent professionals! The team at East Limestone Family Dental, led by Dr. Scott Fitts, are the best in Limestone county and, likely, among the top practices in Alabama.

Fantastic experience: I first visited Dr. Fitts’ office on November 6, 2025, to have a crown placed, but I was concerned that it appeared bulky and was noticeable when I smiled. I returned on November 12, and the dental assistant made adjustments to the crown, which improved the appearance slightly, but it still wasn’t exactly what I hoped for. On November 17, Dr. Fitts and his dental assistant Claire replaced the crown entirely, and the new one looks amazing. I am truly pleased with the final result. Their expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to ensuring my satisfaction made all the difference, and I greatly appreciate their professionalism and excellent dental aesthetics.

Again, thank heavens for this family dental office. (We had visited several other area Madison/Limestone County dental offices who informed us that before they would take us as new patients we had to have a deep periodontal cleaning for $1,500.00. Every one of these dental offices used the same phrase: "We are "ethically" bound to do this.")

Negative experience: I would stay way from this place. I had tooth pain but had me wait over a week before they could get me in then took an x ray and told me to go see and endodontist because it looked like I needed a root canal, gave me some drugs and a toothbrush and charged me $259.00. Guess I should have went to a real Dentist like Davis in Athens who saw me the same day and fix the issue.

Very professional, Caring for her patients, Kind, and experience. Like I said I have not had to have any dental work done, but when Dr. Fitts comes in to do the follow up checkup he is also easy to talk to and very Plesant. If anyone has a need for a new dental office, I will highly recommend this practice.

Positive experience: My fourth visit with this dentist practice, the dental hygienist was very nice and helpful good visit.

Negative experience: I’m not sure what happened to this place but I went in for tooth pain, paid $60 and the dentist never even came in. They took an x ray and sent me to the endodontist because they thought it was related to the root canal I had done earlier. When I went to see the specialist (Price Denton in Decatur) and after I paid $250 (this is with great insurance) the specialist told me I just needed to floss more in that area…I return a couple months later because the pain had become so intense. They do more x rays, and tell me I need a filling….but make me wait an entire week. I get the filling and almost immediately the exact same paint returns and it’s even worse. That cost me another $70 and I’m now going to a new dentist to solve my problems. It was absolutely ridiculous treatment and after going 3 times I’ve seen the dentist for 5 mins for the filling. New dentist today put me on antibiotics and will re-do the root canal if the antibiotics don’t work. Don’t waste your money here, it is truly disappointing they treat folks this way. Singing river blew this practice out of the water in just one visit, take your money there!
