Fantastic experience: Who can say they actually enjoy their trip to the dentist? I certainly can! I have been a patient at Acadian Dental for over 20 years and hope I never have to find another dentist! Dr. Perkins (no relation to me) is the BEST, and it is always a pleasure seeing Robyn and Linda. I cannot recommend Acadian Dental more strongly!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr Perkins for over 20 years. My kids wouldn't go to any other dentist. Now, as adults they still will only see Dr Perkins. They have traveled as far as from Arkansas to Houston, Texas to see him. He is the best. His care for his patients is wonderful. His associate , Dr Driver is right up there with Dr Perkins, in that he takes the extra time to make sure the patient is comfortable. I give these guys a 100+. And the staff are the best you will ever meet.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Perkins is an excellent most qualified Dentist in Houston and in the NWest portion off 290 and Tidwell area. We have him since about 25 years and all my entire family goes to him including my grown up children too. We feel so at home and relax to share with him our family vacations, illness experiences because he is like family to us too.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Perkins has gotten me back to going to the dentist. My first visit with Eric was around 2005 I've had several repairs due to grinding, he does them quick and never judges you. Whenever you are in need of dental work, Dr. P will work diligently to help you. And if there is an emergency repair needed, he will usually accommodate you , just ask. He is the perfect dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had no hesitation in making my appointment with Dr. Perkins even though it has been 11 yrs. My concern was how would it go with a cracked tooth. He explained the condition and options. I went for the root canal although swore to myself I would never have this done because of the horrible stories. Misinformation is harmful. From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave, you are welcomed and treated with courtesy. They do many little things to make the process as good as it gets. The staff is amazing and the dentists are the best I’ve ever had! My partner James sent me to them a couple years ago and I’ve never considered any where else! Fantastic experience: Dr. Perkins is a fine dentist and has taken great care of my teeth for at least ten years. Mostly I appreciate his attention to detail and making sure my bridge and crown (s) fit perfectly. He is a five-star dentist! Dr. Driver has done an excellent job of filling my cavities and, recently, repairing my chipped tooth. I consider him also a five-star dentist! Linda cleans my teeth so well. When she is finished, my teeth are like new!

Fantastic experience: Office admin was super professional and accommodating when attempting to schedule a last minute appointment. Upon arrival, I was greeted and seen within ten minutes of my appointment time, quickly and efficiently taken care of by the assistant and dentist and was happily in/out.

Fantastic experience: They are always so kind and courteous! When I woke up with discomfort in a tooth, they worked me in that day. I needed a root canal, and they took care of me the same day, knowing I was about to leave on vacation. Dr. Perkins is awesome! I had zero pain, through the root canal procedure! I'd recommend them to anyone, especially if you're looking for a gentle dentist and staff!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and efficient staff. My family members and I have come to Acadian Dental for over 15 years. Dr. Perkins spends much time explaining a problem and offers various alternatives. There is no pressure to choose any treatment plan. All choices are explained. I would not go to another dentist. No one in my family, brother, sister, mother, has ever been disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Perkins is always so welcoming and practices honesty I an count on. He rarely gets my business because my problems are referable, as was the case on this visit. Fantastic experience: I love this entire TEAM. From the front desk person, Robin, to the hygenist and the Assoc. Dentist and of course, Dr. Perkins. Been going for about 20 years, and I have moved but will still drive to Acadian. My husband, who is scared of the dentist, has gone to this office and he had a good experience. I usually get cleanings, but I have had root canals and fillings, as well. I have no problem recommending them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit at Acadian Dental. Lynda was my dental hygienist; she listens and is very knowledgable, very professional and has an excellent chair side manner while taking care of my dental needs. She made me feel very comfortable and all of my dental anxieties were eliminated in her chair. She is a pleasure! Dr Perkins is equally as wonderful; he is pleasant, listened to my concerns and created a reasonable dental treatment plan to take care of my dental needs. Dr Perkins has state of the art dental equipment and has a very upscale office. Robyn is the front desk professional is amazing and very personable. I wish I would've found Lynda and Dr Perkins years ago! I have found my dentist and my hygienist for life. I have already referred my family members to Acadian. There is absolutely no reason to fear or delay your dental needs anymore.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Perkins', Dental Hygienist, Lynda, did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth and made sure that I was comfortable, during my procedure. Afterwards, Dr. Perkins came in to check my teeth and answered my concerns and took care of the minor issue, that was bothering me. Dr. Perkins' staff, Shari, is diligent about sending reminders, the day before, to ensure I don't forget my appointment. Robyn, ensures that I am checked out properly and given a follow up date, for my next visit. Dr. Perkins has been my husband and my dentist, for 20+ years. My husband and I like him, because he has a gentle touch, is truly concerned with his patients, has excellent bedside manner and understands how to speak with my husband, in his current condition. We highly recommend Dr. Perkins and his Associate, Dr. Driver, as well as their staff, for any dental and/or or services offered. You won't find anyone better.

Fantastic experience: Going to Dr. Perkins office is like going to see your favorite aunt/uncle. Everybody greets you by name any you are given the red carpet treatment. Dr. Perkins is fantastic with his gentle touch and a quick smile.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been seeing Drs. Perkins and Driver for over 15 years now for all our dental needs and they are fantastic. As a physician myself, I always pay close attention to how other medical offices run. This office excels in customer service. From the moment you call or arrive at their office, you are warmly greeted by Shari or Robyn. I always enjoy a nice conversation with Lynda while she does my cleaning (although I usually have some instruments in my mouth)! Dr. Perkins and Dr. Driver have performed exams, fillings and crowns on me and I have never had pain or any problems with their work. Overall, great office and great staff!

Fantastic experience: We are always greeted and made to feel welcome. Dr. Driver understands nervous dental patients and changed my teen’s fear of dentists during the first appointment. We’ve had a couple of emergencies and we were able to be seen the same day. We love the staff (Robyn) and the hygienists. They seem to work well together and to have a healthy work culture. To top it off, the billing is always accurate. My family of five are patients, as well as my mom and my aunt. I am so thankful we found Acadian Family Dental and Dr. Driver.

Negative experience: Extremely upset with Acadian Dental!!! They did work on me without checking my insurance to see if it was covered on two different days. My insurance plan (not insurance company) had changed from my last visit with Acadian Dental. So once I got a letter from my insurance company stating the x-rays and deep cleaning on my bottom teeth would not be covered by insurance, I asked them for help with the cost since they didn't check my insurance in the first place before doing the work. They texted me that Dr. Driver said "we don't give a discount for your Guardian fee schedule since it's an HMO. Said I would need to pay out of pocket $541.20 more, on top of the $130.80 I had already paid last week to finish the bottom deep cleaning." Totally unwilling to work with me on price!!! In my opinion, they are the last defense to check with your insurance to make sure there are NO Large "Surprise" bills Sad, because I really liked going here.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal today, probably my third and it was not the least bit uncomfortable. Dr Perkins is incredibly skilled and somehow makes the dentist a place of peace. They never make you wait. The staff are very nice, easy to work with and always willing to accommodate your schedule. They stay open late for you if needed, without hesitation. Our 9 and 14 year old children love him. My wife switched from her life long family dentist to Acaidian and it was the best thing she ever did. Everyone who's ever tried Acadian, usually switches and stays for life. Love this place and their staff.

Fantastic experience: Our family continues to receive great service from Acadian Family Dental. There is truly a family feel from the front office as well as the technicians and Dr. Perkins and Dr. Driver. In addition to our regular cleanings and dental needs, I was also able to get a snore guard when a CPAP machine did not work for mild sleep apnea. I've had two different types of guards over years (TAP and Silent Nite), and the staff at Acadian Family Dental have been very helpful with both. Especially when I manage to break one and they are quick to put me back into a snore-free night.

Fantastic experience: After leaving a chain dentist office, which took FOREVER to get an appointment and always had a different dentist and hygienists. I decided to make change and I am soooo glad that I did. It's been about 2 years since I have been going to Acadian and I love it. The dentist are very nice and I have had no problems. I like that they are close to me but If I have to drive miles, I will. That's how loyal I am because the service is outstanding, the office is clean, and there is no wait time at all. They know their clients by name when you walk in. I just love that freaking place!!! UPDATE 2/9/22 They are still amazing!!

Fantastic experience: Acadian is always friendly, kind and professional. The dentists and hygienists are VERY good, while always being gentle, understanding and giving great explanations as to what needs to get done. It's difficult to say it's ever truly pleasant, but this is as close as it gets for a dentist's office!

Fantastic experience: I had my regular check up and teeth cleaned. At the end I told Linda that it had been painless and that she had done a good job. My teeth and gums are better which is primarily due to her guidance. The dentist double checked and was satisfied with the cleaning and no further work was needed. I feel very lucky to have Dr. Perkins as my dentist.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Acadian Family Dental for decades. Even though they are out of network for my HMO, I still go there because of the excellent service ( I will switch to PPO next year). The dentists and staff are knowledgeable, gentle, honest, helpful, friendly. Five plus stars.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever. I went for years without a dentist because I had a horribly painful experience as a teenager. Dr Perkins is a PAIN FREE dentist. He uses every tool available to keep you from being in pain. Love me some nitrous oxide . I cannot ever refer another dentist. Not only is he pain free, he an excellent dentist.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for years and they have always treated me with respect and care. I had to switch dentists for awhile because they did not take my insurance but when they did again, it felt like seeing old friends or family. My mom comes here too and if she can’t pay the amount due, they allow her to pay in installments or even discount the cost. Amazing practice.

As a senior citizen, I have been to several dentists in both Louisiana & Texas & you will find none better! I live an hour away, but the quality of care makes it well worth the drive. I whole heartedly recommend Dr Perkins!

Fantastic experience: I used to be scared of dentists. Dr Perkins has such a genital nature. He understood my fear. First treatment I had music in my ears and a little laughing gas and tears running down my face as he fixed my teeth as the years passed I only occasionally use anything. Today I took my 89 year old mother. Such kindness. Plus, and this is a huge plus....he respects my time. Rarely have I ever waited more than 5 minutes. Exceptional care and work. Post update: My mom is now 90, and I couldn’t think of taking her anywhere else. So kind and caring.
