Positive experience: I have been to this practice many times, and overall, the service and care has been good. My complaint is not about that. I hav decided to leave this practice, since I completely disagree with the new policy that patients now have an automatic added fee of 3% to every service. They say this is to “help maintain high standards” blah blah blah, and I think it’s completely wrong for them to openly pass on their business costs to patients, and a percentage of all services, at that! I’m so tired of customers having to pay the sneaky added fees that businesses would either absorb or build into their new rates. I am a business owner. There are costs with having to do business and when even medical practices are adding fees for the running of their business, I think it’s so wrong.

Fantastic experience: As usual, I had a great experience from beginning to end of my cleaning. The receptionist couldn’t have been friendlier upon my arrival and Jordan, my dental hygienist, is always so nice to catch up with. She is friendly, efficient, gentle, and always does a great job. Thank you for making my cleaning so pleasant!

Fantastic experience: Very professional Dental office! Everyone was very friendly! The office was very busy. I was able to ask Dr. Svoboda all of the questions I needed to ask. Hours for dental work is very accommodating to my busy schedule! My anxiety diminished once I went back and talked to Dr. Svoboda.

Fantastic experience: I was in for my semi-annual check-up. My Hygienist, Jordan, was very friendly, she explained everything she was going to do before hand, and just did a great thorough job. Dr Braum, new to the practice, was also very friendly, exhibited a high level of professionalism and expertise. I'll be back in six months.

Fantastic experience: Another great experience at the Dentist’s office. Great reception and intake process. Professional cleaning by Jordan, thorough exam by Dr Svoboda, 11/10/2025! Today, 12/31/21, I needed a crown to be reinstalled that dislodged. Dr Barker and assistant Luzmann were kind to let me crowd their already full, holiday calendar and were efficient and timely in restoring the crown so I could avoid an exposed molar over the weekend! This dental practice is the best I’ve ever worked with! Dave U

Fantastic experience: Our family has been going to this practice since 1998, even though we have since moved 45 miles away. All of the doctors and staff have been excellent and really make us feel more like friends or family, than patients. We usually leave with our cheeks aching - not from any dental procedures but, rather, from laughing with everyone who works there. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We're still patients, here, in 2025! Brittany is an absolute delight! We love the whole staff, including the Senior Doctor! :-)

Negative experience: Absolutely stay away. This practice used to set the standard in Littleton, but not anymore. The level of care and professionalism has dropped significantly, and some recent experiences felt downright unethical. Very disappointing.

Positive experience: I’ve been a patient at this office for some time and generally appreciate the care I’ve received. However, my most recent visit left me feeling frustrated. During my cleaning, my hygienist performed a specialized cleaning without informing me that it came with an additional charge. The process of the cleaning was also not communicated to me. I was completely unaware this cleaning incurred an upcharge until I went to check out and was surprised by the unexpected fee. I called the office afterward to express my frustration, and while the practice manager acknowledged that there was a communication error, the resolution offered felt insufficient. She did offer to schedule me with a different hygienist next time, which I appreciate, but there was no offer to remove the charge for a service I never approved. It felt like my money was spent without my consent, which is not acceptable. Clear communication and transparency about costs are essential in healthcare settings. I hope the office takes steps to ensure patients are fully informed before any procedures are done in the future.

Fantastic experience: Southbridge Dentistry significantly stands out as a caring, passionate and professional practice. I had a dental emergency, to which they actually got me in the same day, even though I had not yet been a patient of theirs. Their staff are friendly, their office modern and spacious and their vibe just makes you feel immediately comfortable. So grateful to have found this practice ♥️

Followed up as promised and she speaks efficiency and insurance language very well.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Southbridge for over 20 years. Due to a lack of insurance coverage, I left in 2023 to go with someone “in network.” Big mistake. I realized what a gem Southbridge is. No upselling. No dramatizations of supposed issues. I decided to go back even though it is out of network. They are worth it!

Negative experience: The worst........Cannot and will not perform correct billing. They make terrible mistakes and will not own up to them. Stay away! There are SO many better dental offices around.

Fantastic experience: Very thorough in their work at Southbridge from checkin to checkout. The dental hygienist, Nicole, was great as usual and is always helpful providing tips & suggestions in a caring way.

Negative experience: I have been a patient for 10 years and was very pleased with the services provided, but things have changed since Covid, and not for the better. I have had a different hygienist for every visit; there has been a noticeable turnover among the hygienists. I haven't had a good experience with a hygienist in the last 3 years. I used to be taken on time for my appointment but the last several times I have had to sit and wait, it has been as long as 15 minutes since Covid. I purposely switched to the first appointment of the day this last visit so I wouldn't be kept waiting, but I was still kept waiting 10 minutes. The hygienist seemed knowledgeable, but she was clumsy, dragging the various cords across my chest, almost gagging me when she put the suction device in my mouth, and she did not perform a gentle cleaning. I have a high pain tolerance and she managed to leave me with sore gums. I'm still uncomfortable a day later. I'm at the point of moving on to another dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a very pleasant routine checkup with Halie as my hygienist. She is knowledgeable and very nice. I felt that she did an excellent job, and I would request her again. As in the past, the office people are very friendly. My dentist, Dr. Svoboda is also very friendly and thorough in his exam.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Svoboda and Dr. Hoover are the BEST!!!! Hailey my hygienist is absolutely phenomenal! These docs and staff are very thorough and treat what needs to be treated. They are kind and compassionate and have family friendly pricing that fits my budget! I have been a patient for may years and plan to be for many years to come!!! I was so impressed with my first appointment and am happy moving forward. Now after 2 years my hygienist Halil, runs a top professional cleaning process. Her knowledge, patience and highly skilled work ethic makes my appointment a delight every time.

Negative experience: I have been a loyal customer nearly 30 years. My dentist was Scott K. Since Scott left the Southbridge practice I have had little satisfaction with this office. I have requested treatment plans and an account ledger three times and still do not have them. When asking clarifications, they simply reiterate "I forgot". I am attempting to finish my 2025 tax . I had a direct "one on one" consultation for which they have no recollection or action plan. As it relates to billing!! Don't expect the estimate to match and do expect to get another bill you didn't budget. Never expect an billing overcharge to be returned. They simply don't do it anymore.

Fantastic experience: Today's visit was for 6 month check up, cleaning and X-rays. The latter revealed an aging crown had moved out of place on a tooth that already had a root canal years ago. The resulting gap has allowed some decay to start and will require replacement. I was provided a very quick follw-up appt to start the process within less than a week, with final follow-up possible in about another 10 days for final replacement. Dr Bowen fully explained the steps in a clear manner and the estimate for the entire replacement seemed very reasonable. Even with the complications uncovered the whole visit lasted only 1 hour. Also, my wait time after arriving was only a few minutes before being called and I was in the chair a minute ahead of my scheduled appt time. Very efficient all around.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been using southbridge dentistry for about 4 years and I’ve been completely satisfied every time I go. The hygienists are always kind and helpful and doctors are very knowledgeable. The whole place is clean! Will always recommend this business!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Southbridge for more than 20 years! Sue is my hygienist and I have seen all of their dentists. They are all wonderful, smart and have great bedside manner. Sue is just the light to my day and I look forward to seeing her as my hygienist and dental appointment every 6 months! ❤️ We usually have to plan our appointments at the end of the day so we can catch up on our lives! I’ve been going there so long with Sue, that she has become quite a wonderful friend. I can talk to her about everything. What a wonderful and safe space with all my dental needs. Negative experience: If I could leave 0 stars I would. My son was scammed today. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!! He showed up to his first cleaning today and gave the front desk his insurance information. He was told the cleaning and a panoramic xray was covered so he opted for both. When he got home he got a call that his insurance actually does not cover anything and he had to pay over $500!!

Fantastic experience: I moved to Colorado more than 20 years ago and the dentists at Southbridge have taken care of me the entire time. And while I've always had good hygenists, today I had an exceptional hygienist - May. Like most, I'm a nervous dental patient and she gave me great tips and while being incredibly efficient, she was so personable that the time in the dental chair passed quickly.

The staff are so knowledgeable, upbeat and welcoming, and I really liked Dr. Hoover who clearly and expertly explained details regarding issues going on with my teeth. Fantastic experience: Dr Svoboda is the 1969 supercharged ford mustang of all dentists in the metro area. A powerhouse of the industry. All of the office staff are exceptional. His commitment to your teeth care is like no other. He could literally fix SpongeBob’s teeth. I trust him, the Denver Nuggets trust him. Look no further. Let this man help your grill.

Turns out I didn’t need to spend $3,00 for crowns - just a couple of replaced fillings. Thank you to everyone at Southbridge for not only saving me money, but saving my teeth! The filling replacements were quick and easy and both the hygentist and dentist made sure I was comfortable each minute. Negative experience: I never write reviews, but I am writing to express my frustration with the experience I had at this dentist office When I initially called to set up an appointment, I provided all the necessary information, including my plan details and member ID, to confirm that my Aetna insurance was in network. The person I spoke with assured me that my insurance was indeed in network. However, on the day of my appointment, I was informed that my insurance was not covered. Instead, I was offered discounts and given information about out-of-network costs. This was extremely frustrating as I had already confirmed my insurance coverage over the phone. The lack of accountability and the “I don’t care” attitude from the person that was attending me was just ridiculous! This miscommunication caused a significant waste of my time. I made the trip to this office based on the assurance that my insurance was accepted, only to be told otherwise once I arrived. I urge you to review your procedures to ensure that accurate information is provided to patients regarding their insurance coverage. Clear and reliable communication is crucial to a business that actually cares about patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bowen and the entire staff were fantastic. I had a double crown done and they were exceptional from the begging to the end making what would normally be a terrible experience a good one. This is the best dentist office and staff I have seen in a very long time.

Fantastic experience: I’m a new patient and I was impressed with how friendly and professional the staff were. As a new patient there wasn’t a long wait to get in to be seen and Dr Bowman took the time to answer all of my concerns. Britany performed a thorough cleaning of my teeth in a warm and timely manner.

Fantastic experience: Dr Bowen and the staff at Southbridge Dentistry are simply the best. I’ve been a patient for 4 years. Dr Bowen successfully fixed an implant of my front incisor that failed twice before from a different dentist. The bone was thin and the prior dentist placed his too far forward causing it to break. Dr Bowen carefully found the real problem and then over a year used bone grafts to fix things and make a solid base for that really visible tooth. It’s now been in about 2 years and I love it. We just completed another implant and have also done a crown and a filling. I’m 69 this year and have seen many dentists over the years. Dr Bowen is the best. Beyond being professional and nice he keeps the “mechanical engineering” part of how teeth, bone, nerves, bite, etc. All must work together. He doesn’t do unnecessary work, and I am pleased to highly recommend him and this practice. Assistants Fabiana and Carolina are also really great! I can’t overlook recommending them.

Cosmetically, everything he has done looks so much more natural and perfect than work done by other dentists. I wish he had done everything from the beginning. Problem-free. Painless. Fantastic experience: After a traumatic accident on July 4th that left me with the front teeth of my mouth knocked out, (as well as other teeth around the impacted area chipped and damaged) I truly thought my life was over. However, thanks to the kindness, patience, knowledge, and expertise of the Southbridge Dentistry staff, (especially Doctor Allison Hoover) my smile looks better than ever before and I have finally been able to put the traumatic incident behind me. My new replacement teeth are incredibly realistic and closely match the look of my regular teeth. Both the crowned and the replaced teeth are also strong as they can handle me chewing with them without giving me any pain at all. There are even times when I will look in the mirror and completely forget that the teeth in the front of my mouth are not my real teeth! Southbridge Dentistry has not only given me my smile back, but has also made me feel beautiful and powerful. <3

She not only goes above and beyond in my regular teeth cleanings but makes sure my night guard, which is old and well loved, is almost like new. And that wasn’t easy! Dr Hoover pitched in to make my night guard wearable without having to be fit for a new one. This practice cares and always puts their best foot forward.

Negative experience: My family and I have been patients at this practice for 20+ years and am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the unprofessional experience I had during my recent dental appointment. As a patient seeking quality dental care, I expected a high level of professionalism, competence, and patient-centered care. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of these expectations. The dental staff displayed a lack of professionalism and empathy throughout my appointment. The dentist seemed rushed and disinterested, providing minimal explanation to address my concerns and handed me a referral notice and told me to "go across the hall". Unfortunately, "across the hall" also did not fully understand the request of this dentist. This lack of communication and patient engagement left me feeling unheard and uninformed about my own dental health not to mention the lack of professionalism shown in this encounter. As a patient seeking quality dental care, I believe it is essential for dental practices to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, competence, and patient-centered care. Perhaps this practice has gotten too big to continue to provide the things that used to be their core values.

Fantastic experience: Dr Bowen and Dental Assistant Dani were very professional, interactive and kept me thoroughly informed as they repaired my broken tooth. First visit to the practice for me. Very impressed.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Southbridge since I was a kid, in fact no other dentist has cared for my teeth in 30 years. They have such kind, helpful, and knowledgeable front desk staff. My time is always respected, everyone is always very welcoming, and the dentists provide care in a very kind manner. The real stars of the show are the hygienists. Halie has been my hygienist for years, she is highly educated, very gentle, and more than anything else is kind and remembers things about my life. I got a new job and new dental insurance, and it feels like such a gift that I didn’t have to find a new dental office!

From receptionist, to assistants, to Doctors, each person I've worked with is friendly, caring, professional, and a pleasure during each visit. Specific shout out Dr Bowen, and Dani - thank you for making a generally less fun place to visit so much more enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr. Shane Bowen regarding a failed dental bridge. Dr. Bowen was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the topic and was able to offer a myriad of solutions to my bridge falling out. The office staff are incredibly kind and the billing department is knowledgable and very upfront with all charges. All parts of the office were cohesive and knew all parts of my procedure. I cannot speak more highly of Dr. Bowen. He has the experience and knowledge as well as compassion and professionalism that help me feel listened to, understood, cared for, and confident that the work he was doing would last well over 30 years.

Negative experience: I would normally give them a five. But this time I will not. Left a bad taste in my mouth that they are charging 3% for an office visit fee. That is ridiculous. The lady at the front desk was rude. Her name was Eurasia. ( not sure that’s correct, but it rhymes with that) i’ve been going there for 12 years and I’ve never paid that fee. If They’re looking to pay their front office staff, they need to pay it with their profits. I felt like I needed to take a shower after I paid that bill. Any fee that they charge should be posted clearly, and out in the open for everyone to see prior to getting service. Just like car dealerships with the dealer handling fee.
