Negative experience: Came here because my primary dentist referred me for a root canal and wisdom teeth extracted. I seriously need you to understand that this isn’t an automated review and I’m still recovering from what these guys did to me. First thing was they had to numb me multiple times for the root canal and it just wasn’t working and they kept saying “you have to bare with us” I was fighting for my damn life. Got through the root canal and that’s when the real fun started. The guy used like a screw driver to pry on my bottom right wisdom tooth and I could feel all of it…My gums ripping, the bone cracking… it was just brutal. After about 15 minutes of this guy aggressively digging at this tooth he gives up and referred me to an oral surgeon.. 3 days later and I can’t eat and I can barely sleep because my jaw is so swollen and my gums are tore up. The guy swore the tooth didn’t even budge and now I’m sitting here in serious pain waiting for my consultation at this oral surgeon that isn’t available to see me until the middle of December.. I know it’s hard to find a good dentist but please…please take your business elsewhere.

Negative experience: Worst dentist I’ve every been to, didn’t even wait for the numbing to kick in before starting a root canal

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sam Amirani is the best dentist in the world. Hands down. Makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. He makes jokes when performing his work. He really makes coming to the dentist not feel like a nightmare. Extracts teeth with ease. Can’t even feel them being pulled out. His staff is amazing and the most helpful and kindest staff. If you want your teeth done correctly and with no pain then come to Dr. Sam Amirani. Located in the st. Joseph medical office plaza. Affordable and just hands down the only dentist I trust for me and my family.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the everyone that works there. Everyone is sweet and friendly. They don't just see you as a patient they see you as a person. Which is amazing and makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Dr. Sam told my son he was fine when he was in fact hurting him and had not let the medicine sit long enough. Dr. Tom was the only reason we stayed but found someone better. Called to cancel my last appointment with them and the girl was rude when she hung up.

Fantastic experience: We've been coming here for about 7 years and we've always loved Sam and his team, but today really made our day when our youngest met her Cinnamoroll twin Amy, and now she is beaming and can't wait for her next appointment! Thanks for always making our kids feel so comfortable here!!

Negative experience: Inexperienced. I've had more than one molar extracted over the last 50 years. The two they did were the worst. I'm not so sure they did my fillings right either. They're way too sensitive. I'd take your kids elsewhere. The staff was very polite, and accommodating. I just think the dentist is too green.

I’ve been at this dentist for years and he wasn’t a familiar face but the way he treated me It felt like he’s been the one cleaning my teeth for years . I came in with a upside down frown because I dislike the dentist but I left with a smile on my face thanks to you Jordan❤️

Negative experience: The first time I came here, I was referred from my primary doctor. I had to pay out of pocket for my first appointment which I accepted. My second appointment, I called in advance to see if they took my insurance. I was told they did, so I booked myself an appointment. I called again the day of my appointment asking how much I needed to pay, they gave me an estimate and DID NOT tell me that I needed to be “pre approved” I drove 3 1/2 hours just to be refused to be seen unless I paid over $600 right then and there. Upfront the ladies were rude and uncooperative. They only care about getting your money and couldn’t care less if they’re overcharging you or if you have insurance.

Fantastic experience: jordan was super helpful and friendly and had made my experience with you guys well. he was communicative and kept a conversation going with me and my niece.

Fantastic experience: This employee named Jordan has assisted me every time I came in, he’s super helpful and very attentive to your needs. I like how he puts us first over himself ensuring we have the best service that he could provide. Every time I walk in, not even one second goes by without him almost immediately assisting me, whether that be a quick snack or entertaining me as I wait for my appointment. This man is truly an inspiration and a prime example of how a pure, lovable, gentleman can be. Most kids go to the dentist not wanting to be there but when I’m there, kids walk in and are happy to see him, and that says a lot about him. His energy brightens up the environment to all ages. You can come into this establishment with a straight face, but you will always leave with a smile on your face when Jordan is there. Whenever I have kids, I want him to be their dentist.

Fantastic experience: Joci, greeted us magnificently and helped us by making the temporary crown. The Doctors were amazing and down to Earth also and I am very thankful our daughter recommended us here because the cost wasn't inflated. Very affordable and a life saver when everything else is so expensive. Thank you Doctor for making it affordable. We will recommend you to everyone we know!!

Fantastic experience: I have a serious TBI and PTSD and exterme anxiety. Everyone who works here is amazing. They make sure I am comfortable there hygiene practices are impeccable. Top notch service all around. There are like the Jedi masters of dentistary. I cannot express how pleased I am with everyone who works there.

I called yesterday morning and they were able to get me in same day, got my tooth pulled quickly, and everyone was very kind! Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Dr. Sam since 2018 I'm very fond of his service they made me so comfortable that I started bringing my children and now the family comes. I hate needles and I hate pain and they really minimize my pain here and makes me relaxed enough to get my procedures. They cater to cowards and when it comes to dental work im definitely that! As long as I'm in Wichita Dr. Sam will continue to be my dentist!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here my entire life and i’ve never had any issues. You really get the sense of care and attention from all that work here.

Negative experience: If you are looking for dentists who will ease your concerns and provide satisfaction and good work this is not the place. I recently got a crown and two fillings. Once the work was done they did not show me how the crown looked but it had taken long enough so i proceeded to leave the office. Once i got home i looked in the mirror and noticed the crown was not flushed to the gum line and was obviously too short. I notified the dentist (Dr.lawlis) of this concern and was told there was nothing that could be done without drilling my real tooth underneath the crown and was told they did not want to fix it. During the appointment of my crown placement the doctors did not come into the room the entire time and the dental assistant was tired of waiting on the doctor and decided to cement my permanent crown on her own. This is illegal, unethical and will be reported to state board. I visited my other dentist who specializes in cosmetic work and ortho who told me that dr lawlis was false and that drilling did not need to be done to place a better fitted crown. My other dentist also showed me X-rays of the two fillings associates in family dentistry claimed to have filled but they STILL appear to have cavaties. This work was supposed to be done correctly before my invisalign treatment with my other dentist and now that the work was not done properly i have to spend extra time and money to do it all over again. My experience here was overall very unpleasant and i will not be back. Do not waste your time and money here. Go to a dentist who values your concerns and does the work properly. Everything about these dentist screams lazy.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here since I was in elementary school— maybe even before that. They are always quick, safe and incredibly nice people. Sam is awesome and Madison is super friendly, she makes you feel super welcomed.

I was calmer than EVER before. The dentist done a fast and wonderful job as well. I am well pleased with the service today.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Dr. Amirani and this practice since I was in middle school (I’m 26 now) and I cannot say anything but great things. I came from another dentistry that ruined my mouth, practically wasting my time saying they “fixed” the issues I had, but didn’t really. I had to have extensive work done, and I was so lucky to have found Dr. Amirani. I spent hours of my middle school days having my teeth reworked, this team bringing my smile and ultimately, my confidence back. My smile is so beautiful and I am so proud to show it off. Everyone at Associates is so kind, remembers the little details (even things from middle school!) and I cannot thank them enough. Even anyone new they’ve hired over the years is the same — friendly, caring, & do phenomenal work. Highly recommend. ❤️

He was really scared..Jasmine and Michelle was extremely patient and kind to him and Michelle is an excellent shot giver he didn’t even feel it. We will be sure to always request her. Fantastic experience: I came to AFD to get a deep clean on both sides of my teeth and I ended up getting around 15 shots in total from both appointments. The ladies were very gentle and made me feel safe and secure, I appreciate them being so sweet and being able to hold a conversation whilst cleaning up my smile.

Positive experience: Deep cleaning was very good I believe her name was Nicole. Filling afterward was ok. Novacaine was wearing off, it hurt some. Also seemed like they were hurrying, maybe because I was hurting. Not sure, honestly been a long time since I was at a Dentist for any work.

Fantastic experience: This is a super cool dentist office the staff is great friendly. The Dentist , is so funny I just love him. He comes in always laughing and smiling making jokes. It’s a real pleasant environment. I recommend everybody come highly recommend. 12/10

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Amirani for more than 19 years. Once I had a cracked tooth and he treated me on the weekend. Dr Amirani is kind & provides individualized care & responds with options for different treatment plans as needed. Michelle is often my hygienist and it is a practice that you will often see the same hygienist so they know what works for you as person.

Positive experience: They take the time to really work on your teeth, they also explain as they go. They do a good job and care to make you feel you’re best with your smile. The employees are all sweet and carry conversation to make you more comfortable. Boba is only 7 minutes away to treat yourself after an appointment!

In and out, quick and easy, and the ENTIRE (everyone) is super kind, friendly, and helpful I'd give them 100/100 if I could... who ever says that about a dentist?? let alone their whole office!!!

Negative experience: I will not be recommending this office to anyone anymore. I recently found and saw another dentist after coming here for 2 years because I wanted a second opinion on my teeth. I was told I needed a root canal and 2 other fillings and a deep cleaning which my insurance doesn't cover any of. I was also told the first time I went my filings were 25 after insurance and this last time I went they tried to tell me they were 90 with my insurance. My new dentist said I didn't need a root canal and put a filling in which my insurance covered 100 percent. And I had no more cavities that needed fillings. Also they said my gums were fine and did a regular cleaning on me. On top of all that this office will change your day and time of your appointment with out your knowledge. I encourage others to check around for better dental care if any of this sounds familiar with you aswell. Not to mention the poor dog they have in their office that is always barking.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy all of the staff and doctors at this office they are caring kind compassionate and take the time that is needed for each patient and they are also super patient with the patients. The oldest 2 of my 5 girls want to come here for all of their dental needs, as we just came for some specialty work like a root canal . I highly recommend this office for the whole family. The dentists are so kind

Fantastic experience: This was my third dentist office I went to within a week due to a tooth infection. All the other dentists either wanted to send me to a root canal specialist or book me way in advance. Starting to get desperate I set up a consultation with this dentistry. (First time patient) on a Monday at 8am and walked out at 11 AM having done the root canal and a cap, THE SAME DAY. All I had to pay was $150. The rest was covered with insurance. Three weeks later I get my final cap and couldn’t be happier. I will never go to another dentist.

Negative experience: They first off started telling me my insurance was not valid so I had to get them on the phone to settle that, then they try to collect $20 from me as my cleanings are 100% paid for. Then when I get my teeth cleaned the hygienist wasn’t very happy. When I said, please only use hand tools. That only took 15 minutes and at the end they never flossed or polished my teeth. I’ll never come back, very unorganized

Fantastic experience: Earlier today I came in for a routine cleaning and had Madison as my dental assistant. She was immediately helpful and enthusiastic which helped put me at ease as I’m very nervous at the dentist. She also offered emotional support dogs to help further calm me. Madison was professional and efficient. She was lighthearted and passionate and helped to make my experience one of the best I have ever had. I will be coming back and asking for her everytime. She deserves a raise. She is the heart and soul of the dental office.

Negative experience: Most horrific dentists on the planet! Has a barking dog running around in the office! Refuses to actually take accountability for their mess ups and refuses to even try to fix them. Refuses to let someone make payments even though they don't tell them the price before hand!!! Never go to this dentists! This place needs reported to the state

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing !!!!!! Great from the beginning from when you call and schedule to the end of your actual appointment! Very knowledgeable and positive atmosphere! I love it here and have never felt so welcomed anywhere else . I’ve had my wisdom teeth removed with them (reasonable pricing) , to a deep cleaning needed for braces and more! I even pulled my children from other dental places to bring them here ! The staff are so respectful and polite! Sam is so funny and makes your visit not so worrisome ! And his right hand lady who does the deep cleaning is the bomb! She tells you step by step process , comforts and definitely shows empathy! Again I love this place! I won’t go anywhere else ! You won’t be disappointed
