Restoration Dental

Negative experience: Established patient. My son had a tooth ache, so I called. They DIDN'T EVEN look at my sons teeth, they immediately asked for money that we already paid. Once I told them that was an error, they asked for $115 for emergency visit. They did not inform me of this fee when I called initially (again, established patients). They wanted to take another x ray - he just had x rays at his semi annual check up in August. They seem to value money over people. If you go here make sure you keep track of what you paid and when. They value $115 over a child's wellbeing. Look elsewhere.

Negative experience: Went in due to some tooth pain, they did x-rays, and did mm gum measurements. They told me I had multiple cavities, and that I had 5-9mm for my gums. They told me I had bone deterioration and needed deep cleanings and multiple cavities filled. We are a military family so we’re moving back to where our family dentist was so I said I would wait the pain wasn’t that bad, as they wanted an exuberant amount of money. I just finished with my family dentist who I have seen for years, who has done multiple fillings, TMJ treatment, etc. For myself and my extended family. I had no cavities, no gum deterioration, and no oral issues other than the TMJ we are continuing to work on. When I informed my family dentist of what I was told he was shocked and appalled as he could not find anything wrong with my mouth. Restoration also prescribed/gave me 1.1% fluoride toothpaste and my dentist back home said absolutely do not use that, you don’t need it. I also called to get documentation for insurance purposes and no one has called me back. I am so glad to have a dentist back home who knows what they are doing, and am so glad that I did not allow restoration dental to do any work on my mouth.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing for adults and kids. It’s so cozy and doesn’t have that sterile clinical feel that makes you nervous. Dr. Janna Kate is so gentle, caring and supportive. Honestly my experience here made me switch my kids to this office because of how refreshing it was to be in a dental office I didn’t need therapy for after. I had a dry socket after extraction and that got me in immediately and really care about their patients comfort levels. I was given a warm blanket and they even stopped to put subtitles on tv for me. Genuinely a 10/10 experience. For my fellow military families, while they are out of network for tricare, the fees are so much cheaper that any other offices I’ve been to that I genuinely didn’t notice they were out of network. So don’t let that part scare you off if you’re looking for comfort and compassion in your dental health.

Fantastic experience: This is the best experience I've ever had with a dentist. The ladies at the front desk were personable and helpful (Eden was great!). The hygienist, Diana, was friendly and gentle. She explained everything as she went. Dr. Love is knowledgeable and a people person. Everyone here seems to like their jobs. The place is beautiful. They use state-of-the-art equipment. I went as a new patient for x-rays and a cleaning. My appointment went longer than what I am used to because they literally analyzed each individual tooth. I've never had such a thorough dental checkup. It was worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr. Love and had a great experience. I’ve been having some tooth sensitivity from a filling that I had done about 10 years ago. It is pretty large. He lazered the tooth and I no longer have any sensitivity. This was so amazing. Dr. Love is the best!

Fantastic experience: Top tier treatment!!! Everyone from the front desk to the back was super nice and welcoming to me today at my first visit with them. They even texted me when they had a cancellation and got me in sooner than my previously scheduled appointment time. I was offered a nice warm blanket and Mrs.Diana made my cleaning so comfortable and she was sooooo informative! I even had a mini photoshoot before I left the office. I had extensive work done with very little pain then or since. The crown fits perfectly and matches my other teeth. Everyone in the office is professional, friendly, and caring. Fantastic experience: My mother recommended Dr. Love as she has used him in the past, and he lived up to the standard, plus more! I was very nervous, coming in as a patient who was botched by their last dentist, I had a serious dental issue and was treated with upmost respect. The team informed me of my options and discussed the entire process, beginning to end, ensuring I was less nervous. When it came time for my tooth to be removed, Brandi did everything under the sun to make me comfortable and relaxed., She even provided me with a blanket to be cozy while I was waiting for medicine to start. Fantastic experience: Needed an emergency dental trip and was referred to Dr. Love over at Restoration Dental. When I came into the building I met some of the most nicest people in the world and that's saying something since I work in the car industry and meet a lot of people on a daily basis. The nurses were amazing, shout out to Brandi, Dawn, Eden, Georgia and Fran. If it wasn't for Brandi I would've been screaming during those shots . Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience. I normally HATE going to the dentist but all of the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. It is very clear they truly care about their patients; they were able to get me in same day and resolve my issue for an emergency appointment and I have received follow up messages afterwards. Fantastic experience: Last May, on the day of my daughter’s graduation, I woke up with pain and swelling from an infected crown (not placed by RD). I called RD and they saw me the same day, used scans to show the infection and proceeded to pull the tooth as well as prepared my jaw for an implant in that spot. It has taken almost a year between healing and placement of certain fittings to get it completed, but the staff have been wonderful at assisting throughout the entire process. Georgia helped with my implant, Pam cleans my teeth twice a year and Dr. Love was compassionate during the extraction and subsequent treatment installing the implant. I can’t thank the staff at Restoration Dental enough for helping to care for my teeth and keep my smile healthy! Thank you, all!

Fantastic experience: 5/14/25 Since we can not leave more than one review I thought I would add in to this one. I still can not say enough good things. I have been to multiple dentist in my life and Restoration Dental is by far superior to all of my previous experiences. Dr. Love and just the whole office Beth, Erica, Fran (and there was one other young lady that unfortunately I can’t remember her name but she was blond ish with blue eyes and maybe 5 foot tall) were all amazing and kind. I had my permanent bridge from the plan we had from the previous review. They made sure I was comfortable physically and emotionally. I had needed a lot of work done for a long time but having been a single parent for a while my money went to my kids needs. Now they are grown and I can take care of me and I finally found a dental family that I can trust and know that they are doing what is best for me and not what will make them the most money. Restoration Dental will forever be my dental office. So sorry guys y’all are stuck with me for as long as you will have me. I can not say enough good things about restoration dental. I broke a crown on Tuesday and went in. Unfortunately they were super busy and could not get me in but made a way to see me the next day. I went in on Thursday and everyone was just so nice. I already knew they would not be able to save my tooth but they did check to make sure and then laid out all of my options along with letting me know the financial side of it all. We all agreed I would need to have to tooth extracted and although I hated the thought it was just going to have to happen. Dr Wolf and Beth were so very kind and supportive. There was another lady that helped Dr Wolf and although I know she gave me her name I can’t remember which makes me sad because she was amazing also. It was lunch time and after the decision was made to extract the tooth the worked through lunch time to get it done that day for me and it was not an easy extraction for them. Me on the other hand they made sure I didn’t feel a thing. I don’t think I have ever been treated so kindly at a dental office (normally I would end up leaving in years after having been scolded ) I could honestly go on and in about how wonderful they were to me. They even called me the next day to check on me. I am so glad I now have them as my forever dental office. Thank you all so much.

Fantastic experience: Hands down one of the best experiences I have had. Dr. Love and his crew are extremely attentive, patient and humorous. Best of all the technology is up to date. I went in for a new patient appointment which consisted of the normal cleaning, X-rays etc ( I must add, I stated normal but they absolutely do a lot more than the normal and are extremely informative); however the real problem was an old filling that had fallen out. Seeing how much pain I was in the lovely lady at the front asked if I could wait after my cleaning and Dr. Love and Francis stayed well past business hours completing a stubborn root canal to ensure I left their office pain free. 10/10 would recommend. For those in the area that have delta dental, yes it is out of network, but very worth the service and care you receive.

Fantastic experience: Can't thank them enough! When snowmageddon shut Enterprise AL down this past month, I had the misfortune to break a tooth/filling on the 23rd. Restoration dental was the only dentist open in the area that day, and was sooo helpful. Dr. Love and his dental assistant (I believe her name was Erica) even stayed after business hours to help take care of my issue. They were so considerate and helpful and even worked to help keep everything as affordable as possible, since they are not my normal provider. If you are considering dental work I highly recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: Restoration Dental is truly a one of a kind dental specialty unlike any other. We had searched the whole state of Alabama for the specialty work my mom needed and were about to settle with doing some work here in the Wiregrass area and the rest in Birmingham when we found them. Dr. Love, Ms. Georgia and their staff literally have been an answer to our prayers. Not only are they the most thorough dental specialists I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, I have personally witnessed the dignity and respect they show all their patients regardless of class and/or status. You can rest assure you will get the quality care and respect you would want your mom to receive every time you visit.

Fantastic experience: To begin with, For some reason my google wont update my last name but now Im married and it’s Cassady. I hadn’t been to the office since Dr Howell retired. I was having a really bad toothache and needed an extraction. No one else was available till after the first of the year so I decided even though my BCBS is out of network with their office and I would have to pay up front a lot of money I would figure it out somehow. They had a cancellation for the morning of December 4th so I took it. I got there a little before they opened and was let into the office by a very sweet young man who was also behind the counter, sorry didn’t get his name. I don’t realize though upon checking in that if I didn’t pay with cash it would be a 4% charge to run a debit/credit card. Had to step out and go pay $4 at all in to get cash. But oh well better than an extra $20. The man getting all the charges is banking, lol. Anyway, when I returned to the office I only had to sit for a few minutes when Diana my wonderful hygienist called me back to do my X-rays and ask questions. Then Dr love came in to do the initial look. He need more X-rays that he didn’t charge me for, thanks doc. Then after all the individual X-rays I was taken to the exam room to review the X-rays with Ericca. She was very informative about what the X-rays revealed. Dr love came in and explained as well what needed to be done to each of my problem teeth in the future. After that Dr Love numbed my mouth very well didn’t feel a thing while he was pulling my bad tooth. Best extraction I have ever had. Ms Ericca was wonderful, she held my hand a bit. She held my jaw when doc was yanking on my bad tooth. The whole experience was worth the money. I was even greeted with kindness from Ms Eden whom I paid at the end of my services. Dr Love and these 3 lovely ladies are wonderful and kind. From the time I left the office to now two weeks later I haven’t had any pain from the extraction. Not even after the numbing wore off. No narcotics were given just straight Motrin and Tylenol every 4 to 6 hours I was very surprised. Sorry it has taken me two weeks to leave my review I got extremely busy at work and almost forgot I needed to spread how good my experience was. Again thank you and Merry Christmas.

Fantastic experience: I seldom take the time to leave reviews but Dr. Love and the entire staff must be commended for the outstanding care provided for my son. He needs special attention to have dental work performed and RD is where we found it. Dr. Love and Fran were extremely patient and obviously well trained for difficult situations.

Fantastic experience: Today I had an emergency appointment to have some of my teeth taken care of and the experience was amazing! I know, a strange thing to say about going to the dentist! However this clinic is filled with knowledgeable, kind, COMPASSIONATE and professional staff I have ever met. I work in health care and am a local artist so that’s saying a lot! The lobby is so comfortable and homey and has a warm and welcoming feeling and it’s got a HUGE fun abominable Snowman for the holiday season! So much fun and super creative for kids to enjoy and those of us that are young at heart! The front desk staff are super friendly and accommodating and the financial people are very helpful and answered any questions I had. The Dental equipment is state of the art and almost sci-fi in appearance. I was quite impressed with all the instruments and ease and comfort of using them. The Dentist was so kind and caring about my comfort and seemed to really care that I was hurting and the amount of care and concentration in her work was very noticeable to me and APPRECIATED. In particular Brandie was super helpful in easing my anxiety and helped talk me through my anxiety riddled blabbing that I tend to do when I feel like I’m being overwhelmed with stress. All in all it was a fantastic experience for a stressful and painful visit. Now I’m off to drink soup for dinner. Go get your dental work here. You won’t be sorry!

Pam Carmichael is amazing, and explained e everything so that I could understand. They even have a selfie area to show off your smile. Fantastic experience: Dr Janna Cate has been great with my little guy! She is so great with kids and did such a great job distracting him during his procedures. He started out wanting to sit in my lap, but then was just fine and moved to the chair without me. He also had to hang with me doing my cleaning and the staff was so sweet setting him up with crayons and a coloring book. We’ve used another pediatric dentist in Montgomery who we love, but it’s really nice to be able to do all of this at home! (And she’s a UGA fan—so bonus points! Go Dawgs!) Have to also add that my older daughter and I have both seen Dr Love and love him just as much as we do Dr Janna Cate! My oldest has had a few traumatic experiences at the dentist and was SO nervous. Dr Love and his staff have gone above and beyond to help her feel more and more comfortable with the dentist. She’s had so much less anxiety over her last two appointments. We’re very grateful for that! Even I always ask for nitrous during procedures and last time didn’t need it. I think Dr Love being so willing to explain everything is helpful and puts patients at ease.

Fantastic experience: Our family loves Restoration Dental! All of the staff we have interacted with is kind and professional. I brought all my children in for their appointments today and we had a lovely experience. It is challenging to find a doctor that is patient, understanding, and creates a comfortable environment for young children and that is what you find here. Dr. Cate helped calm each child as they had their appointment (the older ones had some fear surrounding dental appointments from the last place we lived). No tears and a positive memory for my babies and myself. We did not feel rushed through and I felt listened to and cared for as a parent. We highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: Michael Love is an excellent dentist. I had a tooth that another dentist told me couldn’t be saved. Michael told me it was 50/50, but he thought he could save it. He put in a lot of time and effort, but saved the tooth and then put a great fitting crown on it. Not many dentists will put the effort in and/or don’t have the skills. Thank you again, Michael!
