Fantastic experience: As someone who has(d) a phobia about going to the dentist for so many years, I am so glad to have hygienists at Personal Care Dentistry who acknowledge my phobia, take time to check on me many times during the appointment, and make me feel as calm as possible. And they do a stellar job with keeping my teeth healthy. I may still not LOVE going to the dentist, but they’ve made it less traumatic to go.

Fantastic experience: Yeah.. yeah.. yeah. Always great! BUT it is what happened after our visit that really made us smile. We had mentioned to Dr. Walter Hunt that we heading up to Bentlyville free Xmas display Duluth. Dr. Hunt and staff tried to reach us relentlessly to let us know it was closed that evening due to high winds knocking displays over. We still went up (already on our way) and were able to see the area from our Pier B Resort room. The kids enjoyed watching the large turnout of workers show up who started putting the displays back together. Personal Care Dentistry always the best for our whole family.. and going the extra miles after care.

Negative experience: Terrible service. Told me insurance was covering a procedure even though insurance told them they were not. Left me with a 1000 dollars bill no apology what so ever.

I had impressions and a temporary partial made by Dena. She quickly did what she had to do and fitted me for the partial and I was on my way. I went back a couple of week later to get the permanent bridge and it fit perfectly. Thank you to Dena and Dr Kyle for their great work! Another example of their caring staff was over 10 years ago, a staff member called me in the evening to see how I was doing after I had major dental work done earlier in the day. Negative experience: Due to no fault of mine, my appointment - which was made months ago- was cancelled. I remade the appointment telling the person making the appointment I was having shoulder surgery. It was NEVER mentioned that I needed to wait 6-8 weeks after surgery to see a dentist due to risk of infection. Arrived at my new appointment date only to be told I could not be seen and had to reschedule AGAIN! I can’t believe after about 30 years of being seen here this is how I get treated for my dental services!

Fantastic experience: This was one of the best dental offices I’ve been to in a long time. Park dental - no thank you. Usually it’s the business office that’s an issue. So far My experience at Personal Care Dentistry has been top notch. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth today was personable, and gentle on my gums. She also was able to help whiten my teeth from some tea stains that have been bugging me. The makeshift waiting room (there’s some remodeling going on right now) was plenty comfortable and the checking process was easy. Plenty of parking and easy access to the building.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was at 11:00 AM. I did not have to wait long before getting called in. The hygienist introduced herself and was friendly and professional. She asked the usual questions such as a change to my medication and any issues with my teeth. She informed me that a full set of x-rays was approved by my insurance. I agreed with the x-rays. The cleaning was quick and comfortable. I only had to wait a couple of minutes for the dentist to come for his exam. The hygienist scheduled my next 6-month appointment; therefore, I did not have to check out at the front desk. There is one tooth that they will keep tabs on during my next appointment. The hygienist told me to call if it gives me any consistent discomfort.

Fantastic experience: The appointment went well, as usual. Mai (I believe that is her name) did a great job on cleaning the tartar from my teeth. I did not enjoy the process, but that is what happens when the flossing is not working as well as expected. In six months things should be better. This has been 9 months later and my appointment has gone well. The hygenist says that things are looking better. I am happy.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Personal Care Dentistry for several years now, and I think they are the best group of Dentists in the entire St. Paul, MN area! (I have been to several different dentists during my lifetime). Today, I had a wonderful and caring Hygienist cleaning my teeth, and Dr. Hunt was my Dentist today who is continuing to help me with some Dental issues I currently need to have taken care of at this time. They listen closely to me, and are flexible to meet my needs as a patient, as well as offering superb dental care. My Dad recommended them to me about 15 years ago, or so, and I am glad I followed his advice!

Fantastic experience: The visit was pleasant and efficient. I did not have to wait in the lobby for more than a minute before I was put in a chair for my cleaning and exam. My tech did a great job in a very short amount of time. My new dentist, “Dr Kyle” has a lot of integrity. My first visit was for a sore tooth. Dr Kyle could have told me I needed a new crown and I would have replaced it. Instead he adjusted the bite and in 10 minutes I was good as new. Apparently my previous dentist at a different practice did not install it correctly so I developed bruising of the nerve because the bite was off. I have had no problems with that tooth since that visit. I could not be happier with the way I was treated.

Fantastic experience: I was a non- patient and called Personal Care Dentistry when a crown fell out. We had just moved and I didn’t have a dentist yet. The whole staff welcomed me and Dr. Hunt fixed my crown. This office has a fantastic and knowledgeable staff!

Positive experience: Was cancelled. Office I was told had flooding Accidents happened and I didn’t take offense to having my appt cancelled. Was annoyed about asking for a review for an appointment that did not take place was my issue. Didn’t mean to disparage the clinic. I raised my rating.
