From my first interaction with Jeaninne to the expert care of Dr. Sperling, and the support of the staff I encountered (Alisa, Priscila, Ana), everyone was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. The procedure was so smooth, both Jeaninne and Dr. Sperling took the time to answer my questions thoroughly, understood my preferences for anesthetics/sedation, and kindly guided me through the process. Negative experience: Office was ran smooth as far as wait and staff were friendly; however, this place is way more pricy than the average dental office - and I kept getting pushed to get work done after I told them I just had a baby and I’m on maternity leave so money is tight. They kept trying to make me apply for credit to pay for procedures for which I went to a different dental office for a second opinion and I did not need. NO empathy just pushing to get their rent and salaries paid. It seems as though they look after their own pockets more than your well being.

Fantastic experience: Where do I begin!? From being in pain to feeling no pain, from the nervousness to the calmness, this was truly an amazing experience. The amazing dental assistants Ana, Jolie and Vanessa went above and beyond to make me feel at ease. I can’t express enough how Dr. Sperling has the most amazing hands in what he does. When I tell you I did not feel any pain at all, I truly mean AT ALL. My biggest fear is anesthesia but all of that went away when I heard Dr . Sperling say “you’ll feel pulling, noise, pulling“ and in a matter of seconds my tooth was gone. Not once did I feel that numbing sensation or feel any pain. I had an experience that I must say left my fear of sitting in the dental chair at ease. If I can give this practice 10 stars more I would . I was not scolded, and the team has worked with me since to maintain a healthy routine with several checkups and cleanings a year. I specifically want to thank Tania, my dental hygienist. PS - My name on the review would suggest I'm family, but I only originally chose the office for the coincidence. Now, I keep coming back for the quality treatment I receive as a patient.

Negative experience: I chose this office based on its positive Google reviews. I had been coming here for regular cleanings over the past two years and always kept the same providers since they were familiar with my dental history. Initial Visit – October 2022: My first appointment was in October 2022, where the office’s claims benefits specialist verified my coverage and collected a copay for the initial visit and X-ray exam. After this, I had only scheduled cleaning appointments. In May 2024, during a routine cleaning, I was asked to pay an outstanding balance that my insurance didn’t cover. Before agreeing to any payment, I did my due diligence by contacting our benefits department. After reviewing the situation, our benefits coordinator informed me that it was handled. They also said that the office staff mentioned that there was another claim on October 18, 2022 and that they couldn't figure out who to file a claim to. However, after contacting the insurance company that we had coverage at the time, they provided us with a receipt showing it was paid. We forwarded it to the office. My insurance is employer-sponsored, so I don’t control which provider is selected for coverage, especially if changes are made mid-term. The office claimed they had four coverages on file, but they were all active on the dates of service. Before each appointment they verify if the coverage is active or not. To simplify matters, I created an Excel spreadsheet for them to file a claim correctly and kept them updated about any changes via email or during office visits. Despite this, the issue wasn’t resolved. Even though our benefits coordinator helped resolve the matter in May, I was once again asked to pay the exact same outstanding amounts during my most recent cleaning. Although I was already skeptical of their billing practices, I decided to give the office another chance. Instead of proactively contacting me to resolve this matter, the office waited until the date of my visit to inform me that I owed additional money. I was left speechless. Additionally, when I went in for a routine X-ray and profi, I was told not to perform any further exams. They only proceeded with the cleaning. This experience left me feeling disgusted, frustrated, and disappointed. If you’re only seeking routine cleanings, I would advise caution before visiting this office. Last week they called me to tell me that they have reached out to the correct provider and that the check from the insurance company was lost in the mail. The insurance carrier confirmed they would reissue the check with no issue. Based on how this situation was handled, I’ve decided not to return. This post is to make sure that people verify what they are paying for.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! If I could give 10 stars I would! I first came to Dental care of Hollywood due to having a bad experience at another dentist. I was told by the other dentist office that I needed a root canal, two crowns, and three cavities filled. I was very skeptical because I take great care of my teeth. I found Dental Care of Hollywood on google and they had great reviews so I decided to go there for my second opinion, and I am so glad I did! They did X-rays and a full exam and assured me that I had no cavities, did not need any crowns or a root canal. It was such a relief to hear. At that moment I knew I could trust them. Since being their patient for nearly 3 years now they have done nothing but take excellent care of me and my teeth. They actually care, listen to what you need/want, and are HONEST! Not only that, if your appointment is at 10am you are actually seen at 10am. That is huge to me seeing as I go on my break from work and they respect my time. Also, I had a crown from years ago became loose and called them right away, they made an emergency first available appointment and after a short exam assured me the tooth looked fine and all they needed to do was clean it up a bit and glue it back in place. I feel like any other place would have taken advantage of that situation and charged for a completely new crown. I cannot recommend Dr. Hans and his entire team/staff enough! From the front desk to the dental assistants to the doctor. They are all amazing! Even if I lived hours away I would do the commute just to have the reassurance that I am in great hands. Trust is a big thing when it comes to my health and they have gained it 100%! Can’t thank them enough!

Fantastic experience: DCCH is an amazing dentist office! Within the first few seconds walking in, the front desk ladies greet you with so much positive energy you can’t help but to smile. Everybody was extremely polite and friendly, yet very professional when needed. The equipment, chairs and the office in general had a an amazing level of hygiene and sterilization! The Doc and the assistant always made sure I was comfortable enough as a tall guy! In between the procedures we were chopping it up and cracking jokes like we have been knowing each other for years! Fantastic experience: Great new patient experience. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. They're considerate of appointment times as I didn't have to wait ages to be taken back and seen. The front desk and schedulers were accommodating of a busy schedule. My x-rays with Vanessa were the smoothest l've had (normally they re super uncomfortable and I need re-shoots but she was great). Tania, my hygienist, was thorough but gentle and had a lot of excellent recommendations for me. I also appreciate how they are very transparent with pricing (thanks, Kat!). Fantastic experience: I got my braces here. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The doctor and assistants did a great job of explaining the importance of my dental hygiene with braces. They were very professional for my monthly visits and helped suggest ways to keep teeth clean. Getting my braces adjusted became a quick routine, no pain or discomfort. **Update** I took my braces off a couple years ago. I now have amazing teeth and a great smile **Update#2** my smile is still great! They’ve done a great job of cleaning my teeth and helping e keep my smile. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dental Care Center of Hollywood since the end of 2021, I got my first Implant the same year and until today this procedure has been a success, Dr. Sperling and staff are amazing, knowledgeable , very professional and skilled top to bottom and most of all friendly, they took the time to explain things to me and answer all my questions, every time going to this office is a great experience and I will definitely keep returning, cannot recommend them more Highly. Fantastic experience: This dentist office was recommended to me by a friend, and I must say, it's well worth the 45-minute drive! From the moment I walk in, I'm greeted warmly by the receptionist, and the rest of the staff is just as welcoming and friendly. One thing that's always stood out to me is how helpful and willing they are to answer any questions I have. The dental hygienists are incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, making sure to explain every step of the process. The dentists are also fantastic, especially Dr. Sperling, as they always take the time to address my concerns and provide me with valuable information about my oral health. I also want to mention that they helped me with my braces for about year, and I couldn't be happier with the results. They were attentive and supportive throughout the entire process, and I truly appreciate all of their hard work. Most recently, they went above and beyond by fixing a chipped tooth for me on very short notice. I am incredibly thankful for their prompt and expert care! The office itself is clean and modern, creating a comfortable atmosphere, and I'm always impressed by the level of care and attention to detail that's provided throughout all of my visits. Fantastic experience: Great experiences since I known DCCOH, this time I was able to check as a patient the high dental level that I suspected, Yane my country hygienist did a professional cleaning for me, her smoothness made me feel always comfortable while the Dr Sperling did a thorough examination and gave me, not what I wanted, but certainly the best treatment for my dental problems. I am glad and relieved to meeting them, no doubt in recommending this dental place.

Fantastic experience: When I started my treatment at Dental Care Center. It was my first time in a dentist offive since I was a teenager. But the the team here are absolutely welcoming and helpful. You never feel like you are just another number on a list. They know you and greet you by name. And that may seem like a small detail but I feel welcomed and they are always smiling and happy to help. They have alot of experience and expertise that when I leave the office I always feel I learned something and it makes my day. So thank you to the team and I encourage anyone to visit.

My first time there I was greeted with big smiles by the team, Kat was great, she helped me to schedule all my appointments and explained everything. Fantastic experience: I first came here 7ish months ago when I first got dental insurance through my job. I had just been to a different dentist a month before who told me I had 5 cavities. After seeing Dr. Sperling, he told me I had 0. I was still doubtful and insisted he check again so he used a different camera to check my teeth again and showed me my scans so I could see for myself that I had no cavities. I was very relieved, obviously, and booked my follow up cleaning for today. I saw Tanya for my cleaning who was very gentle and friendly. She was so calm, I had a relaxing cleaning even though I had a drill in my mouth. And she also wasn’t mean to me when I admitted I don’t floss regularly (hehe). Everyone at the front desk is also very nice and efficient, I was in and out of the center in less than 40 minutes! In conclusion, I am glad I found this dental center :)

Fantastic experience: While vacationing in Hollywood from upstate NY, I had a major dental emergency. I called this office and was given an appointment that day. Dr Sperling and two of his staff stayed after office hours to complete the repair. He saved my vacation. I was treated promptly by a very professional staff. I was put at ease and immediately knew that the treatment and procedure recommended was the correct one. I received clear instructions on what to do following the procedure and had no additional complications. I am so grateful to Dr Sperling and the entire staff at Dental Care Center of Hollywood.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked through the door, all the staff I met were very welcoming, kind and courteous. I’d not been to the dentist for a while but not once did I feel judged or uncomfortable. Despite having a short window to receive my initial treatment, this practice accommodated me and the level of treatment and care I received was something I’d not experienced before. Finally, as mentioned, all staff from the front desk to hygienists, technicians, and the owner were so kind and professional, especially the dental hygienist that treated me, Tanya. I found her to be extremely gentle, thorough, knowledgeable and helpful in advising me on my future personal dental care. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sperling is an amazing doctor. The level of care that he provides to his patients is paramount. I was referred to him by a close friend and when I began seeing him, his office was not covered by my insurance. I was willing to pay out of pocket. The level of work that he does rivals every other dentist I’ve ever seen. His entire staff is extremely attentive and caring. I recently completed Invisalign treatment with him and my results were nothing short of amazing. A good dentist is hard to find, a Great dentist is rare. Dr. Sperling is great at what he does! He will never disappoint you.

Negative experience: I have been a Google reviewer for years, with over 50.000.000 views on my pictures, so I am responsible and think twice before posting a review. In this case, I was a patient of this clinic for two years, usually having appointments every two weeks. The customer service is fakely good. They can talk over your face about things utterly unrelated to your case. I want Invisalign and four implants to begin with, and I plan to have veneers at the front teeth. For some reason, nothing went easy: It was the most excruciating experience with a dentist that I ever had. Implants were put in and taken it out a few times; at one point, the dentist screw on my gum without previous notice. Two screws that made me bleed every day until I could not tolerate the pain ( I took a picture to send to the dentist as I was bleeding every single day)- He removed the screw. No comments. On another visit, the dentist accidentally cut a tooth on the lower incisor and made no comments. I had to remind him about it, and the answer was: "Oh, that is nothing. I will put some veneer." Maybe it is nothing for him, but not for me. I ended up with a sensitivity on that tooth. The Invisalign was made at their lab (cheap material, and after almost two years, they gave me one of the real Invisalign). In resume, it was a waste of time and money. The bite ended up with issues, and I went to see another dentist when the last cap broke eating a salad, just a month after they put it on. At that point, my new dentist called this office, and they told him that the crown was temporary. Well, that was new to me as I was told they finished my job. This painful experience cost me more or less 20.000 dollars. I ask for the best quality they can offer on crowns. My actual dentist show me the difference in quality and poor quality. That was very disappointed, and feeling that I was treated as a fool. I must comment that after the pandemic, they are still charging me 15 dollars for every visit. All the time and pain I spent here was useless, as I had to invest time and money to correct the bite and the esthetic of my teeth. If you ask me, I said to look for another dentist and check background and not trust reviewers that only sign to Google to leave one or two reviews; they have no picture and no record of being real Google reviewers. My honest advice: Stay away from this office.

She remembers small details about my husband and I, she makes sure I am always comfortable and answers all of my questions. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dental hygienist.

Fantastic experience: Let me start off my saying that I Highly Recommend the Dentist, Dr. Hans Sperling, and his staff at Dental Care Center of Hollywood. They are all absolutely Awesome!!! The Staff is welcoming and very professional. The website describes Dr. Sperling as the “Gentle Dentist”, and I concur with that description, Dr. Sperling is indeed a Gentle Dentist. I have always had a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist, and naturally, due to my anxiety, my dental health was thoroughly lacking. At my consultation, he discussed x-rays, examined my mouth, and formulated a treatment plan, which outlined the course of corrective action to improve my overall dental health. After meeting with Dr. Sperling, in the first visit, I met with KAT, who was very helpful and knowledgeable and took the time to present financial options and available resources to achieve my dental health goals. Thank You "KAT”, your help was greatly appreciated !! I had my second visit today, wherein, I started my treatment plan and anticipated that I would experience major discomforts during the procedures that were performed. However, I am pleased to say I only had slight discomfort which was the normal numbing process. Dr. Sperling, informed me that I would feel a slight pinch, and actually manipulate the jaw while injecting the medicine, which I think made the process less painful. Both Dr. Sperling and his assistant explained the procedure before starting, and informed me of what was being done during the procedure, and they constantly checked that I was not experiencing any discomfort during the procedures. It is also worth mentioning, that the office is very clean, and is equipped with the updated technology. I could not made a better choice in selecting this dental facility, and I am very happy that I made the decision to take that step and make the appointment!!! You guys Delivered. Thank You!! Negative experience: I have been trying to get my teeth cleaned for more than 5 years from this dental office. Each time I go they have to take x-rays, waste of my time. I tell them my teeth are strong and I have no discomfort. My dental insurance covers me to get two free cleanings a year. They refuse to give me my free cleaning and tell me that they need to do deep cleaning which costs are $826 after insurance pays it’s part. I would think as a consumer you get what’s covered and not try to unload things that you can’t afford. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone. If you can’t afford there prices, give me what my insurance covers, they don’t.
