Fantastic experience: Very competent staff, comfortable, trustworthy and honest. Good place for dentistry if you want straight answers about how to keep your teeth despite greedy insurance companies. I've been using Desert Hawk for 5 years, no conplaints. Nice flexible appointment scheduling with automated text reminders. If you need a crown you can get one same day- no more than two hours in the chair.

Positive experience: 4 out of 5 stars. Wonderful dentist. Love my hygienist. The front desk staff won’t let you in the door one second early. I would feel so much more welcome if I was invited to come in and take a seat until my appointment time. Wind, rain, snow, heat, it doesn’t matter they’re not going to let you in.

I got in and they took care of me by even making a permanert crown for my tooth right in the office so I didn't have to get a temporary cap until permanent cap was made. Fantastic experience: Dr. Liontas has been my dentist since moving to Pueblo West 13 years ago. I've always received outstanding care from him and his staff and today was no exception. Due to an ongoing dull tooth ache, I called the office to see I they could work me in the following day or early the following week. To my surprise I was given a same day appointment. Dr. Liontas performed a detailed exam and studied the x-rays, but the cause of my toothache was not immediately clear. Although he was clearly busy with a slew of other patients, he took time in between patients to dig further to get to the root of my tooth issue. Clearly a very caring and competent dentist! The same goes for his staff. They consistently go out of their way to take care of their patients' needs. I can highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: At 76 years old, this was my best experience at a Dentist office. Driving back from Texas, about 8 hrs. from home, I lost a crown. Made an appointment with Desert Hawk Dental. Monday morning at 10:00 they fit me in. The dental assistant started by scanning the missing crown site, taking digital pictures, downloading these on their computer, allowing me to watch the modifications to perfect the crown, the dentist cleaned the old glue and created a new landing spot for the new crown, the data was entered into a machine. This machine took a 1" square block of material and proceeded to build a crown (I got to watch this too). I've had many crowns, but nothing like this. In two hours, I was all done, completely...no temporary, no multiple appointments and they worked their magic with my insurance and paying the bill. What a great experience. The schedule is full but they are working extended hours to get people seen. You often don't see a healthcare provider that actually wants to help you! This is an amazing team.
