Fantastic experience: When I had a concern about a bump on my gum, my usual dentist office was closed. Prattville Dental Care scheduled a work-in for me. The front staff are very efficient and friendly. The first person who saw me before the dentist came in (sorry, but I don’t remember her name) was very accommodating and had a wonderful demeanor. Since it was just past time for my six-month cleaning, she did that for me as well. Dr. Julie Scott was very thorough and caring and took care of me right away. She has a very pleasant personality. After such a great experience, I am changing from my previous dentist to Prattvile Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: These dentures are too big! I had a scan and then the impression was made. When the impression came back it hurt real bad on the left side but Dr. Perenni thought it could be adjusted on the real dentures. Then at the appointment that I was suppose to receive my dentures they wanted to do another scan, not sure why since I already tried the impression in. When I did get the dentures they were too big. This is my third lower dentures since my teeth were extracted on May 2nd. None of them fit. I feel I paid alot of money for a product I have a hard time using. So what's next? I feel i should be reimbursed for at least half of the money I've spent on miserable dentures.

Negative experience: I had severe pain for 48 hours after extraction. Dentist was unable to give me any pain relief, beyond tramadol. I had a terrible 2 days. Dentist indicated I should go to my pain management Dr for additional pain meds--that indication by the dentist is unethical, irresponsible, improper, and unworkable. I continue to have soreness today [9/18] I will not be using this dentist again [unless it is an absolute emergency] I plan to request the $50 fee to be returned. I will be using Dr Scott when need arises. Please contact me for clarification and/or additional information.

Negative experience: Good, I don't trust this dentist at all. How does one have good X-rays and scans to come back and all of a sudden I have gum disease. I don't deal with any bleeding, swollen, or inflammation in my gums at all. Neither do I suffer from bad breath either which are all symptoms of gum disease. You all stuck this huge machine in my mouth that was scraping the inside of my mouth multiple times then "measured" my gums as well. Of course someone will have pain when someone is sticking a sharp object down your gums. Then on top of that no cleaning ... you would think they would ATTEMPT to clean my teeth if one is supposed to have gum disease but nope you all just sent me on my way. Even you all could've attempted to do a partial clean to "make sure the disease wouldn't get worse" this is my first and last time coming there. I will be getting a second opinion from a different doctor because my mother said you all gave her this same treatment when she went to this dentist office. You all tried to diagnose her with gum disease, she went to a different dentist and they stated she did not. Honestly I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at a dentist office in a couple years, and let me say they were the sweetest! They were patient with me, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I’m usually someone with super high anxiety with doctors and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait to see them again.

The office is well kept and has dental tech that I hadn't seen before- I got the usual X-rays but also a full mouth 3D scanning. Fantastic experience: If I could give a thousand stars- I WOULD! The best experience I have ever had at a dentist office. I had not been to the dentist in a while, so I was pretty anxious about my appointment. I shared my concern with the staff, and Carla immediately made me feel better about coming to my appointment. I arrived to my appointment and was greeted with a smile by Carla at the front desk. Waited for maybe 5-10 minutes (filling out new patient paperwork mostly). I was called back by Jamie, who was my hygienist. I cannot say enough great things about Jamie! Jamie explained each and every thing that she was doing and answered all of my questions. Her explanations were very thorough, and I learned more in this one visit than I ever have at other dentists altogether. She checked in throughout the whole visit to make sure I was okay and aware of everything she was doing so that there were no surprises. She was so easy to talk to and ask questions to- felt like talking to a professional and a friend! After my cleaning, Dr. Perini examined everything and answered any questions. She was also great and informative. Also, they have so much helpful technology for scans, etc. It was pretty cool to see the scans and actually understand what is going on and how to fix it. I’ve never been excited about going to the dentist, but now I am! I have already told my mom and coworkers about this place! I am so thankful for the staff here. Even if Jamie isn’t your hygienist, you will likely get another one that is just as great, based on what I’ve experienced so far.

Fantastic experience: Great staff... I need an adjustment my bottom plate, called on a Tuesday was seen the very next morning. Adjustment took a total of 8 minutes including the moment of checking in until I checked out. I did not feel rushed. Time was taken to ask me what happened and ok let's adjust them. Bottom plate fits better than before. Thank you so much If you have United Healthcare insurance this is the Dr to see.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Scott continues to amaze me!! I had an appointment on May 7th to fill two cavities (top and bottom very far back in my mouth). Her dental assistant prepared me very well for the numbing shot by using topical gel. I’ve never been to a dental clinic that was so very thoughtful and caring!! Dr. Scott took her time and really comforted me and kept me informed so I wasn’t caught off guard. I have a very large, thick tongue. However, she took extra care to assure me that I wouldn’t come out with a hole in my tongue lol. Gee, I enjoy these previously unpleasant dental appointments. I appreciate the extra time Dr. Scott provided me even though it was nearly 5 pm, regarding how to effectively floss my back teeth that are very crowded. I’m excited to learn about the personal journey on which she is about to embark.. I know that she will be blessed and that she will be a blessing!! Dr. Scott, my favorite dentist, you will be in my daily prayers!! You must hurry back to the office so I can continue to enjoy tooth cleaning and drilling as I have grown to enjoy lol. That’s awfully selfish of me, but when you find an amazing doctor that you can trust with your teeth, I figure it’s acceptable to be selfish. The entire staff was so helpful and personable!! Negative experience: I came to get my teeth cleaned the other day and I feel like I did not get the quality service that I usually get and the reason why I am saying this is the lady that clean my teeth charge me for something I did not receive she asked me if I wanted it fluoride today and I said yes and she charged me for it, but I did not receive it☹️ I don’t know if she forgot or something or what but I didn’t realize I didn’t get it until I look at my receipt when I get home

Fantastic experience: I just moved back to Prattville after 27 years in December. As you know, it takes time to establish care in a new city. But this past Friday night, I had a took that DEMANDED my attention all weekend long. Long story short, after going to another business and being told they "may not be able to extract today...we'll see", I sat in their lobby and called Prattville Dental Care. The got me in 5 minutes later and Dr. Perini was OUTSTANDING! Patricia was also patient and walked me through everything. For ALL my future dental care needs, they have my loyalty. Thank you PDC!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit. As much as I hate going to the dentist, this was a great experience for me. Of all things I ended up having a tooth extracted. However, I barely felt the shots to the gums and did not feel the tooth being extracted. Dr P and the rest of the staff are great! I would highly recommend them!

They even provided a blanket for me when the room got chilly. Dr. Rachel is so kind and sweet. If you get stressed going to the dentist this is the place for you!
