The staff? Absolute rockstars. They’re positive, kind, ridiculously detail-oriented, and somehow make you feel like your royalty. Their technical game is next-level—they explain everything so clearly that even I actually get it. And the vibe? Chef’s kiss. Chill, welcoming, no sterile “scary dentist” energy here. If you want the MVP of hygienists, ask for Sydney. I’ve got a set of teeth with more quirks than a reality TV cast, and she handles it like it’s nothing—calm, skilled, and makes me feel totally at home. 10/10 would recommend, and yes, I’m still talking about a dentist’s office. Fantastic experience: I have Sjogren’s, for those so don’t know what it dries out your mouth, your eyes, your skin, your throat, everything. It is especially damaging to teeth. I have my teeth cleaned every three months to keep on top of things. Today my hygienist suggested taking be complex, which I was always already doing, but glad to know that it would be a benefit me in my Sjogren’s. Another hygienist at one time at Dr Wold’s had suggested my using another product that you simply put a tablet in your mouth and it helps create saliva, which is extremely Helpful during the night. I’ve been going to Dr Wold for many years. I’ve lost track of how many I think it’s when he first started his practice here in Gilbert. I wouldn’t trust anybody else with my with my teeth, my mouth, etc..

Fantastic experience: On Friday, I broke the crown off of a recent root canal which was done in April. I've had bad experiences with implants, and was so fearful that I was going to have to have another one. Dr Wold did amazing detistry by creating a new post and replacing the previous crown after some making some adaptations. I got my smile back without waiting for several months of going toothless. Words can't begin to express my joy. Thank you Dr Wold.

She also explained one of their teeth whitening solutions and was so knowledgeable and helpful! My Hygienist Sidney, was also welcoming...and did an outstanding job cleaning my teeth and even answered all my questions. Fantastic experience: My previous dentist of 12 years recently retired so I was in the market for a new office. I spoke with my neighbor, who is a dental hygienist herself and has worked with many dentists in the East Valley, I told her my concerns that I feel many dentist are very “salesman like” and try to pressure patients into getting unnecessary work done under the guise of being proactive . She highly recommended Dr. Wold. She had worked with him in the past and assured me he was exactly the type of dentist to fit my needs. More on the conservative side, honest and non pressuring and when he says work needs to be done you can believe him. My first appointment was today and I was pleased with the experience. Friendly front office staff. Mari the hygienist was quick, non aggressive but detailed and thorough. She explained everything she was doing prior to starting. Dr Wold was warm and professional. I will definitely be returning to this office and have already referred other family members.

Fantastic experience: This afternoon was my very first experience with Higley Groves Dental, and the experience was seamless from start to finish - from the initial call to set up the first appointment, to the cleaning, check up and then consolation. The office attendant was timely, efficient and knowledgeable, and couldn’t have been friendlier. The dental hygienist is probably one of the very best in the industry; thorough, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly - very impressed here. Dr. Wolf is as good as they get; personable, friendly, professional, thorough and knowledgeable. I have quite a bit of work to be done over the next few weeks and I am confident that the results will exceed my expectations. I have had some horrible experiences in the chair and some phenomenal experiences in the dental chair - todays experience was one of the absolute best in my 45+ years of seeing a dentist.

Fantastic experience: At 84, I may be Dr Wold’s most Sr. Invisalign patient. It’s nice to have an all-in-one general dentist/orthodontist. Had traditional orthodontic treatment as a teen and again 40 but this method is much superior…. and certainly faster! Higley Groves Dental is the best!! The 7-month active phase of my invisalign treatment (prior to night retainers) has progressed beautifully and will be completed next month. I could not be more pleased with the results!

Fantastic experience: After a traumatic experience at another dental office, I have been very hesitant to schedule an appointment anywhere. I kept reading such great reviews and then after having a filling come out, I had no choice but to set up an appointment. The staff was so kind and mindful of my dental anxiety. The hygienist was so sweet and great at communicating. The doctor was just as everyone described…calming, knowledgeable and was understanding of the situation and why I was past due for a cleaning. They have restored my faith in a good dental office.

Fantastic experience: I really like the entire crew at Higley Groves Dental. I recently moved 5 hours away and I still came here for my appointment. I needed to do a few scheduling changes, which were gratefully done without issue, I get great advice & education on how to care for my teeth from the hygienists, and Dr. Wold is never pushy with treatments, offers options, and when teaching his employees techniques, he always speaks kindly to them. I finally got the bridge for my front lower teeth that I really should have gotten years ago but held off due to fear. I will gladly drive the 5 hours again and again to have my dental work done at this office. I highly recommend the team.

Fantastic experience: I have used Higley Groves Dental for a decade and they have been great. This week, I had severe tooth pain and they were able to get me in the same day. My issue needed special care from an endodontist. Dr. Wold's office called 3 different endodontists and found the one with the earliest appointment and set up the appointment for me. This is exceptional service and I truly appreciate them doing this for me.

Fantastic experience: I have TERRIBLE dentist anxiety, and probably would not have made an appointment if it weren’t for the fact that I was in so much pain… But this doc is different! He has a very calming demeanor, and prescribed some meds to help with my anxiety (I had to have a root canal) Long story short, I slept through most of the procedure! He did an awesome job, and now I have some convince to do routine dental work at his location. If you have any anxiety about dental procedures at all - this dentist is your guy!

Positive experience: Staff are great and have never had a bad experience. Only negative would be the once you confirm your appointment they still send several additional reminders that ask to confirm again and again and then several requests to leave a review . Not that it is a big deal, but once is enough. We are all busy and it gets a bit annoying.

As for details to know if this is a good fit for you, here's a bit about my experience here and compared to past dentists: I've been to real bad, evil, painful dentists that resemble the old Shel Silverstein poem about a Crocodile and a dentist that enjoys pulling teeth, so when I met Dr. Wold and he asked me to tell him a bit about myself, I assumed he was just looking for dental background. He pushed on... so, I understand more about your dental past -but tell me more about yourself. He has a very gentle bedside manor and does everything possible to make the experience comfortable. He obviously fosters a similar attitude in the office as everyone there was pleasant, friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. For a technical review, the practice employs techniques I hadn't seen for a while. I got used to CEREC dental milling -same day crowns and digital 3D scanning devices at another office. That other office cost me 20 times more (with insurance) and had me put off dental work which I couldn't afford, so I'm not complaining - but this office does use molds and an outside lab. To be fair, the outside lab zirconia crown is superior in quality - it just takes an extra visit. So far, my wife, daughter and me have been and we've all had superb 5 star experiences. I'll be taking my son and other daughter here soon.
