Fantastic experience: Excellent dental cleaning experience I felt very comfortable and relaxed during my visit to . Dr Bahl dmd .! The dental hygienist was very friendly and professional, and explained everything she was doing. The cleaning was quick and efficient, and I was satisfied with the results. I liked how they took the time to answer my questions and concerns. The office environment was clean and welcoming. Fantastic experience: Dr Bahl and Carmen are a very professional team. Carmen worked me into Dr. Bahl's schedule on very little notice when I chipped a front tooth. Dr Bahl made my tooth look whole and natural, more than I thought would be possible. She explained what she was doing and worked efficiently and skillfully. Her standard of care is highly ethical in that she does not do more than is needed in order to charge a higher fee. The three best words to describe Dr. Bahl are "professional," "ethical," and "trustworthy."

Negative experience: Very bad doctors! I came there to get 1 tooth filling and they sayed that my lip feels sallow but it was bleeding and sallow when I came home it was bleeding nonstop! Very bad lie and they should know what’s going to happen

Negative experience: I have been a patient at Palo Alto Dental Group for the last 25 years. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my appointment unexpectedly today due to some unavoidable reasons. However, I was informed for the first time that now I would be charged $58 for the late cancellation. I understand that policies may change, and it's reasonable to notify patients of these changes. However, I feel disappointed as a long-term committed patient to be treated as if I am someone who has abused their policies in the past. It's quite disheartening. The service has changed not for the better.

Fantastic experience: It's the best dental clinic on earth! They have the kindest doctors and they make a supposed to be "painful" experience very comforting! Years ago... Dr Keller was so kind to let me make an emergency visit on the New Year Eve.. I was very grateful to have my fallen crown fixed on the same day... I actually called enormous number of dental clinics in that area and got rejected before finding this clinic... I was so lucky and I miss him... I still clearly remember all the details of that dental visit with Dr. Keller... Especially the Beethoven music and the comforting words from the doctor and nurse and staff there...

Fantastic experience: I have been visited Palo Alto Dental Group for the past 10+ years. It's a world class facility equipped with state of art dental devices. Everyone is so nice from front desk clerks to hygienist (Gina) to my dental doctor (Dr. Kono). The service is excellent. I am lucky to find such a wonderful customer focused dental office. Fantastic experience: Palo Alto Dental Group is extremely friendly, professional, and efficient. I actually enjoy my visits there and my interactions with the staff. My prior dental office was one where I liked my dentist but dreaded interacting with the office. Because of this I avoiding visiting and neglected my dental health. My wife recommended Palo Alto Dental Group this recommendation has resulted in a great improvement in overall health. PADG got me back on track, and were great in handling scheduling and insurance. Everyone who I deal with is pleasant and the care and advice is exceptional. The approach is conversational and interactive. I feel engaged in the process and am more proactive in my care. The location is convenient and parking is always available.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient here for at least 15 years. Last week Palo Alto Dental Group called to reschedule my dental hygienist. I am assuming that my dental hygienist had a family emergency because she had to go out of country unexpectedly It would have taken a couple of months to get an appointment with her but when I asked about appointments with other hygienists, they were able to schedule me the same date and time as my original hygienist. I found the substitute hygienist to be competent and gentle. Thanks for excellent customer service!

Fantastic experience: In all these years, I have never had a dentist explain to me why I have these reoccurring problems with my teeth. Dr. Peter Kono spent time evaluating my teeth and making recommendations with the reasoning behind his recommendations. The BEST.

Fantastic experience: Palo Alto Dental has been taking care of our teeth for over 30 years, with 3 dentists (2 of them have retired). Everyone -- the front desk, hygienists, dentists -- is friendly and professional. My current dentist, Dr. Kono, is outstanding: a skilled craftsman, gentle, gives a running commentary on his work, and is happy to answer all questions.

Fantastic experience: Great staff! Love my dentist Dr Bahl! She’s very easy to talk to and takes her time. I like the fact that I never have to wait more than 5 minutes upon my appointment time slot to be seen. Highly recommended!

I had no problems during my visit. I have to brace myself for the cost because I don't have dental insurance, but I'm compensated for that, knowing my experience has been that work done Palo Alto Dental Group has been well done, so there are not problems later. Fantastic experience: Always five stars at Palo Alto Dental group. A group of really caring people to help keep you in the best dental health possible.

Positive experience: Always good, although this time I was told to arrive by 1:50 PM (I arrived early at 1:40) but was not called in until 2:10, twenty minutes later. Got back to the office later than I had planned.

Negative experience: Warning: surprise bills - check your insurance because they won't. Months ago received an email saying this Dental Group would be becoming a "non-contracted provider" with our dental insurance provider Delta. They claimed via email "you will be able to use your Delta plan in our office and we will continue as a courtesy to process, all claims for you" which tricked us into thinking Delta would continue to cover all costs. They also told us clearly that "Our insurance Coordinator will contact you before your next appointment and can answer any questions you may have" which did not happen. Months after an appointment we find that we're now out of pocket because Delta won't cover their services. Awful experience - felt like there was so many opportunities to explain what would happen and how things would work and they miserably failed at that, hiding behind vague statements in an email. We're no longer patients.

I went to see Dr. Kono, was brought in right at the time of my appointment, and was out within an hour. The work they did was diligent and painless. I just had a emergency visit withA different Dentist, new to me she was very professional very fast she repaired my tooth she was working alone without an assistant and she was amazing. Fantastic experience: Dr Kono is an exceptionally professional extremely knowledgeable dentist. The dental hygienist Enrique, is very gentle, despite some painful gum rescission cleans my teeth/gums with out causing pain. The office is run efficiently and appointments run on time.

Fantastic experience: I can't believe that I have been coming to Palo Alto Dental Group for 20 years! I spend a few years before that going from dentist to dentist trying to find one that was aligned with my values... that is, the opposite of the "drill, baby, drill" ethos. And this was it -- I don't ever want to repeat that dental search, so I make a point of traveling to Palo Alto for my hygiene appointments no matter where I've moved to (even out of state!).

Fantastic experience: No one "likes" to get a crown, but Dr. Kono and his team made the necessary procedure comfortable. I've been a patient for some 20 years and have always had great experiences with this practice.

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone to this dentist office since I was a young child. I was a patient of Dr. Iverson., then Dr. Scott and now Dr. Iverson (the son of my childhood doctor). Everyone in the practice is top notch. I no longer live in Palo Alto but make the commute twice a year. Well worth the drive. always very, friendly professional and clean.

Fantastic experience: Maria, the hygienist, was so gentle and very professional. She explained what she was doing during the procedure which was very helpful. Doctor Bahl was very efficient in checking the condition of my teeth and was very kind during our conversation. Also, the receptionists were very patient.

Fantastic experience: Cudos to the entire team at Palo Alto Dental! I went in for a one time dental cleaning and was scheduled to have my cleaning with Dr. Vanzina. At first I was nervous because I hadn’t established care with them before. From start to finish my expectations were blown away. From the secretary who personally said she would call to obtain my dental X-rays to walking out to the parking lot to help me find my way in, to Dr. Vanzina herself. I have never left a cleaning with so much knowledge about how to better care for my teeth. From educating me on the type of floss to use, to showing me what angles to brush, to telling me about receding gum lines and the implications on bone health, to explaining the importance of retainer maintenance and the transfer of plaque from an orthotic to your teeth, it was hands down the best cleaning I’ve ever had. I have always in the past scheduled cleanings based on the hygienist working not the dentist because not in 30 years has a dentist ever spent even a 1/4 of the time or effort explaining things as Dr. Vanzina did (and yes I’ve had dentists clean my teeth before). And without even a sip of water or second thought she walked into another room to start another cleaning as soon as my appointment was over. The effort and devotion is truly unmatched. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Positive experience: The place looks very clean. But on another subject, I wish they took the suggested X Rays prior seeing the dentist, so the professional could have a better diagnosis of the teeth situation before seeing you, instead of asking you to have that done when you’re leaving the office after you saw the dentist. It doesn’t make sense to me having X Rays done when you’ve seen the dentist already and he won’t look at those x rays until your next appointment six months later where clearly the teeth situation could have changed, especially on a child.

Positive experience: The teeth cleaning was great, but to be charged for the dentist to look at my teeth for about 5 minutes over $65.00 is pretty steep. Since I have Delta Dental I paying up front.

Fantastic experience: Friendly front desk staff, knowledgeable radiologist made for a very fast and successful appointment. Full payment required for services rendered as PADG no longer accepts Delta Dental insurance. Good experience overall.

I have never had an issue, or a complaint with the quality of care or warmth of their staff. Fantastic experience: Palo Alto Dental Group is fantastic! Dr. Sachi Bahl is extraordinarily caring and highly expert. I recently had a dental emergency and received outstanding care. My phone call to the emergency after hours number was returned within 3 minutes. They opened their office for me on a Sunday and their partner Endodontist also saw me on that same Sunday. My dental procedure then occurred at 8AM the following Monday. I have been with this group for 20 years! I also highly recommend dental hygienist Sang, who is meticulous, efficient, and proficient in the latest techniques.

Positive experience: My normal Hygenist was out. Will give 5 ⭐️s for getting me in same week. Will admit gal I saw doesn’t do as thorough a job as Maria. But, I’m just particular and Maria is Great!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at the PA Dental group most of my life (since age 7 or 9). I have had very efficient dentist, and the dental staff - always friendly, helpful, and very positive. My pattern changed - in 1994 = moved to Santa Rosa for 3 1/2 years. I still drove down to the bay area (stayed with a friend) and WENT TO THE P A DENTAL GROUP FOR my appointment. I highly recommend this dental group to my friends. I am a very happy patient. :)

It was a near emergency, she'd reviewed my records from a past (retiring) dentist, and had arranged a followup with a specialist (if needed, for the next day) before I arrived. The staff there were all helpful, professional, and efficient. They patiently worked me in, the assistant touched my arm in that perfect, human, present kind of way when the doctor was giving me the shot, and Dr. Bahl did great work. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for years. My dental hygienist is Kelly and my dentist is Dr. Ball. Excellent and professional front desk staff. Shout out to Sunny. A bit pricey however that is balanced by knowing you only will receive the care needed.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Vanzina and her team are so professional and kind they put me at ease and provide excellent dental care. I had a traumatic experience at Grace Dental (DO NOT GO TO GRACE DENTAL) resulting in an hospital admission and unexpected surgery. Dr. Vanzina explains everything thoroughly and her expertise in dentistry is evident. Cannot recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: On the referral of a friend, I went to Palo Alto Dental for treatment for tooth pain. I saw Dr. Kono ( the younger). He was fantastic. Dr. Kono is skilled and gentle and provided a pain-free fix for my problem. The staff is equally great, too. If you need a dentist, Palo Alto dental is the place!

Fantastic experience: I've been with PA Dental for years, as have several of my family. It is an extremely well organized, friendly, and competent outfit. Never a wait. They interact well with my Delta Dental insurance. A few days ago, two days before Thanksgiving, I had an unusual pain in my jaw above one tooth. I went in without appointment, and they took care of me. They called back the next day to check in on me. I have been with the same hygienist for years. She is careful and thorough. Very little turnover of employees, and as far as I can tell, dentists stay for years as well. I know mine have.

Fantastic experience: Love this practice and all staff. Clean, beautiful office where they practice impeccable safety protocols without removing warmth. Just had my cleaning and Gina was thorough and gentle at the same time. Dr. Kono is a great dentist. He is empathetic , friendly and as gentle as can be these past 25+ years. He will go out of his way to complete all procedures on the day of appointment and do a wonderful job. He always follows through to see how you’re doing after the procedure. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Bahl at the Palo Alto Dental Group for the past 15 years. I am of an age where, unfortunately, my teeth are requiring an above average amount of dental work. I have a lot of experience when it comes to having my teeth "worked on". I can not say enough good things about Dr. Bahl. First and foremost, she's an excellent dentist (and painless!...kidding). In addition, she has an up beat attitude and is always willing to take extra time to answer questions and allay concerns. Dr. Bahl will honestly give me the pros & cons of various procedures. Dr. Bahl's assistant Carmen is first-rate as well and has a special quality of being able to calm one's nerves before a procedure starts. I have recommended Dr. Bahl to my friends and family.
