Fantastic experience: I had some pain and needed to see a dentist that was close by. I was recommended to see Johnson Dental and they truly are great at everything they do. My fillings were done on the same day as well as got other dental issues met. All the staff were great and there was not alot of wait time. Everything was done to perfection. Fantastic experience: My first visit was amazing. I have not had to look for a dentist in almost 24 years but I needed a dentist in my network so my insurance would pay so I chose Johnson Family Dental. All the staff were nice and I felt very welcome there from thr first time making an appointment to walking in the door and talking to the receptionist to the dental hygienist cleaning my teeth and finally meeting the dentist. I am so glad I chose them for my dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown pop off and went in the next day without an appointment to see if they could put it back on. Their staff worked me in and I was out the door in less than 30 minutes. And at no cost. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Negative experience: Long story, I had four fillings done here in good faith that there would be quality and professionalism. There were some red flags (like craftsman tooth boxes for dental equipment) that I sadly ignored. Had concerns after one of my fillings where bad because I had extreme sensitivity (more than I had before I had the filling done), and the doctor told me it was normal, and that they could re-do the filling but didn't think it was necessary and checked all of my fillings they did (which were my first cavities/fillings I've ever had done) and said they were all perfectly fine. They did a zinc oxide treatment on it that I was assured wouldn't stain my teeth--it did and then some. The tooth with sensitivity and three others were stained green/grey and I was absolutely mortified. They brought me back same day, so an hour long appointment got doubled with me coming back. No apology from them, and they couldn't explain what happened. They offered to try to polish it off or do the fillings but were still adamant it wouldn't do anything. Decided to polish off the staining and "wait and see" for longer as the dentist said, to see if sensitivity eased after 2 months (since procedure). They were able to polish it off the staining but it most certainly made it more sensitive. They gave me a free $20 Amazon knock-off toothbrush I guess for all of my trouble. I was very unhappy with the whole experience so I got a second opinion and made a long drive to a new dentistry. They not only quoted me the same work for substantially LESS cost, but they were also less invasive, more modern, the office was impeccable, friendly and professional. The most unfortunate thing was they told me all of my fillings were SOFT and about to pop off. Terrible news. I am going to schedule with them and pay for my filling all over again because today, a filling popped off--and it was on my "good side" I thought was did right. It's been less than 6 months since it was done. No, I'm not going to come back to get them to do it all again, even if it was free...they messed up all of my fillings and I'm holding my filling in my hand. I don't trust them. If you're young and wanna keep your real teeth as long as possible, go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit. Each person that I interacted with was professional. The exam was thorough and the staff provided a treatment plan as well as the cost of the plan. I left happy.

Fantastic experience: My very 1st visit with Johnson Family Dental was very surprising: I was having a tooth that had been hurting for a while. Absolutely no waiting, got an appointment the very next day I was called from the waiting room before I even got set down. The girl was very friendly and inviting, got to work immediately, asking questions,taking X-rays and had a plan of action. The Dr. had me numb and tooth extracted and was very kind in explaining what had happened with my tooth, and already had a plan for some more extractions that i will need and I was out the door with in an hour . I'm sure my next visit will be more of the same, very friendly and professional office .

Negative experience: I've been a patient here for about 2 years. I was pleased until the beginning of this month. I had an appointment fot a cleaning on July 1st. I received 5 texts and 1 email reminding me of the appointment. The last one was the day of. I showed up and the office was closed for the week. Not one text said that. They were to return on the 8th. I left a voicemail on the 1st. I waited until today, the 17th, thinking they might at least call to apologize and offer to reschedule. Nothing. I informed them I'm going to find another dentist. Poor patient service, especially because it was their error.

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency with a tooth. They got me in right away. Turned out I had a cracked molar and needed an immediate root canal. Dr. Austin did a fantastic job! I've heard horror stories about them and the possible pain afterwards. He definitely knows what he's doing, no pain or discomfort whatsoever!!!

Fantastic experience: Another pretty big procedure that had my anxiety through the roof - but Dr Johnson and his incredible colleague took time to explain, calm, ensure that there was ZERO pain, and made everything as comfortable as possible for me… again. The care, knowledge, and support that this office shows to their patients is absolutely unmatched! I’ve never had such “peaceful” dental care in my life. I can honestly say this after having a root canal in the spring and another crown prepped today. From the front desk to the very back of the building, everyone is just so KIND… a blessing for patients like me!

Negative experience: Dr. Whitney had to correct a filling that her associate Dr.Tanner did on my back tooth. She explained that since it was a correction I would not be charged for the filling. While she was working on that filling she told me she was going to have to do the other filling that Dr.Tanner also messed up on the tooth next to the one she was currently working on. At no point during that visit was it discussed with me that I would be charged for the second filling correction. I received a bill for $155 for the spontaneous filling correction. When I called and asked to speak with the office manager on April 17 she was in a meeting and would call me back after talking to Dr. Whitney. She never called me back. I called back today and was told that I was responsible for the bill and they were sorry they didn't tell me they were going to charge me or collect payment at time of service. I've been going to this dentist office for years and never had a problem but this is unacceptable. If they would have told me upfront that I would be charged $150 for the second correction I would have declined. I have since canceled all my upcoming appointments for me and my husband. We will be seeking dental care elsewhere.
