Fantastic experience: IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT...I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH MY FIRST INITIAL VIST..WITH THE XRAY AND THE DENTIST GAVE A THRO LOOK AT MY RESULTS AND HAD SOME GOOD RECOMMENDATION. I LOVED IT ..THE FACILITY IS VERY CLEAN AND WELL ORGANIZED.WITH AFRIENDKY AND CURTIOUS STAFF AND DENTIST..This is a 5 location in fishkill, NY Dutchess County.

Positive experience: I had a dental emergency and was new to the practice. I had read negative reviews and had concerns. The office is immaculate, bring own reading mat. The girls at the front end are on top of their game. The xray tech was very personable. The surgeons assistant was a warm and calming if you are nervous. The surgeon was top notch. Kind, patient, skilled, took extra care to prenumb thoroughly, gave me extra time when he saw I was afraid. If you are a smoker, you will be nervous and smoke before hand, try to chew a piece of gum, or mint, as the regular dentist wasn't good at hiding her distaste. She came across honest, skilled and a bit “something”, more business like. To be fair, they took me as an additional patient they were not expecting so may have had a time crunch.

Fantastic experience: i have a ridiculous phobia of the dentist and Dr Dubin left the practice so i was going to have someone brand new to me. Dr. A was fantastic and so was his assistant. i had a root canal and temporary crown done. I have 2 more to do and feel so much better about going. They were so kind. 8-10-22 EDITED TO ADD IVE continued to have a positive experience here and my 8 year old who is on the spectrum and has ADHD has benefited from the skilled, patient and kind staff here. Dr Hinkle is amazing and while I know they are busy , I never feel rushed and my son is very comfortable with the staff here from the front desk to the hygenist to Dr. Hinkle. I highly recommend this business! Update.. my son is 11 and still goes here. Sadly Dr. HINKLE left but somehow they managed to replace him with Dr Melissa who is equally skilled and great bedside manner. Patty cleaned his teeth and she was outstanding! Very personable and knowledgeable and my son loved her. Fast forward to Thursday Jan 29th I had been having pain that was increasing for a few days. I was miserable and they got me right in, took exrays and we came up with a plan of action. Antibiotics and pain medicine and an appt with Dr O on Monday. I truly appreciate all of them there and trust them implicitly. Dr O is fantastic! The billing ladies are amazing although Im horrible with names but they were kind. Their office seems to stay busy but I never feel rushed or ignored. Then there was Val who called me about my instructions for Monday and to answer any questions. She was so kind and empathetic as well as encouraging. Im also in health care so I know it can be challenging to manage everything going on but the staff here are truly fantastic!

I don’t remember my dentist’s name, but his voice is incredibly soothing, which honestly makes such a difference if you have any dental anxiety. He was confident, thorough, and completely on point with everything he explained and did. I felt listened to and well cared for the entire time. You can really tell this office cares about their patients and the experience, not just getting you in and out. Clean, calm, professional, and kind across the board. I love it here, y’all. Fantastic experience: I had 2 root canals at the same time with Dr. Chung and I was extremely nervous and anxious. He was wonderful!! I didn't feel a thing!! He and his assistant were great, she answered all my questions and the doctor spoke in such a calming tone during the whole procedure that I was actually relaxed.

Negative experience: This was the worst dental practice I've ever experienced. I was in the waiting room for 30 minutes, then kept waiting in the exam room for about 15 minutes. The dentist spent about 15 seconds glancing at my teeth and was extremely rude and unprofessional. She seemed to take personal offense when I asked any questions. I would strongly advise against going to this practice.

Fantastic experience: The Dr was so gentle! She literally talked to my son the whole time letting him know everything she was doing. She was very understanding and patient, and very reassuring! Definitely recommend anyone with kids to go there! The best place!

So to watch him get a filling without tears, without fighting, without any fuss was amazing. The care and gentle handling was outstanding. Fantastic experience: Great place to bring your whole family. Great, kind nurses and doctors! My daughter (4) had to have a crown put on her molar. The dr and nurse were so extremely patient and kind. They super professional and not pushy. They did an amazing job and my daughter has not complained at all with her new "princess crown"

Negative experience: I usually don’t write reviews, but this experience deserves one. I went to this office for treatment and ended up having to go back twice for them to fix issues they created. The first time I went back, I tried to be understanding. The second time, when things still weren’t right and I was still in excruciating pain, they were nasty and defensive instead of professional. When I asked specific questions (the kind I was told to ask), I was met with attitude instead of clear answers. After their own mess-ups, I was basically told in an angry tone that I could “get a second opinion” – while they did nothing to actually help me that day. I left there still in severe pain, with no real solution and feeling completely dismissed. Between the repeated mistakes, the lack of empathy, and the rude behavior, I would not recommend this dental office to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience Dr. Melissa was so nice and patient with my baby. New update!!!!!! after my first experience taking my daughter for her visit turned out to be great. My second experience was horrible. I went in for my regular cleaning. I sat and waited 45 minutes after a long wait I noticed the hygienist that I am supposed to see was walking through the doors with her pocketbook. When I inquired, I was told she was done working for the day that was very disrespectful and I stopped going there.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at office is great. They make you feel so comfortable. And for me that is so good cause I have a really bad neck and they fid everything they could to make sure that nothing was hurting me. Cant say enough. Fantastic experience: This was the first time my mother went to visit Dr. OH. He was polite and friendly. The staff was great too! She was there for an extraction.

Positive experience: First time going and it was better than I expected. I thought a check up included a cleaning, so I was a little confused why a cleaning was not done at the same time. They are booked out until next September just to get a cleaning.. will probably make an appt elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I had 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted with Dr. Eric Oh. He and the team were absolutely perfect throughout the entire process, being extremely thorough about instructions pre and post-op, explaining to me exactly what would be taking place, and executing with total professionalism. I was in and out within 30 minutes, and I feel great only a few hours after the procedure. Thank you Dr. Oh.

Fantastic experience: I was scheduled within a couple weeks of calling (I was not in pain), which is great considering the industry and sometimes waiting months. I needed an extraction, turns out I still had a baby tooth that never grew an adult one. At 28 years old, they let me keep the tooth the woman who assisted the dentist was very kind and we actually chatted and she gave me advice on future needs. The dentist was also very kind and noticed my nervous behavior and reminded me to breathe through the procedure. I was also sent home with a cold pack and instructions for healing. As a teenager, i had a dentist elsewhere that used my bust as a table for their instruments once, they did NOT do this here.

Fantastic experience: The appointment was for my two children 8&10 years old. It was our first time here because it was a referall with pediatric dentist. We arrived on time for appointment, greeted by lovely staff and taken right in. Children were made to feel super comfortable and the pediatric dentist was amazing with each child. Before leaving, we made sure to reschedule our next cleaning appointment and follow up with same dentist in this office because we want to come here from now on.

Fantastic experience: The most wonderful staff!! Everyone was so nice and helpful!! Would definitely recommend to anyone!! I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed, and recovery has been great!! They obviously know what they’re doing!!

Negative experience: These reviews must be paid for cause this is so far from the truth. Go to Yelp so you can get the REAL scoop on this place. I had an appointment for my son a week ago and I was running late driving up from the city. I attempted to call about 10 times and no one answered the phone. My wife also attempted to call. When I finally got through I was told that I would be fine upon arrival. When I got there the office manager (Kaitlyn) started saying that I was late and she wasn't sure what could be done. Meanwhile all the employees were busy talking and socializing. Answer the phone maybe?? I told her about my phone call assuring me that I was fine but she continued to lecture me like I was a child. When I had enough and told her so she threatened to call the cops and kept telling me that I had to leave. We completed our visit and today we received a text message that we need to find a new dentist because my wife and son can't go there anymore. The attitude and hostility was ridiculous. Customer service is horrible. The place reeks of AMATEUR. READ THE REVIEWS!!! So many people can't possibly be wrong. Avoid this place at all costs!! If I could give it Zero Stars I would. Read the other reviews I am not alone.

Negative experience: Poor customer service. Waited an hour and 40 minutes for nothing. If they schedule for an appointment make sure you check and see if their machines are working beforehand. Otherwise they will leave you in the dust

Negative experience: I waited over seven months for this appointment, which was supposed to be my yearly exam. My appointment was scheduled for 3:00 PM, but I still had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen. When they finally brought me into the room, they didn’t even seem to know the reason for my visit and started asking me why I was there, even though this appointment had been scheduled in advance. I was originally told this visit would take about an hour because new patients require more time. However, they took only a couple of quick X-rays and finished my exam in less than 15 minutes. Then they told me I would need to come back on a different day for the cleaning. When I went to schedule the cleaning, I was told I would have to wait another six months because they were already booked that far out. So after waiting seven months for this appointment, I was basically told to wait another six months just to get my cleaning done. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and like my time was not valued

Negative experience: Had trouble finding a dentist to do root canal. My insurance contacted this business and scheduled me for November 4th at 9:30 am. I waited two weeks for the appointment. When I arrived and was finally seen, dentist looked at my X-rays (that they have had access to for some time before the day of my appointment) looked at them for literally fifteen seconds and said he cannot perform the procedure as he was not confident he could do it based on my tooth’s shape. Referenced me to endodontic. That business said they couldn’t see me until APRIL 2026. So I took off a day from work, drove an hour. Just to be told they couldn’t do it, when they could have looked at the xray over the two week period before I saw them and came to that conclusion without wasting my time. But hey, anything to get an extra insurance payment for an appointment right. Thanked the dentist for being honest about his abilities, but that doesn’t change the fact that they wasted my time just to make an easy buck.

Fantastic experience: My son had a wisdom teeth removal surgery by Dr. Oh. All 4 teeth were removed in less then 30 minutes. My son felt fully awaked in 1 hour after the procedure and the bleeding had fully stopped after 3 hours. He didn't need more then 1 Tylenol pill. Amazing doctor and assistants. Very professional and cordial. And they take Fidelis!

Fantastic experience: Great place, friendly staff, and clean atmosphere. My son had two extractions. The staff explained the procedure and made sure he was comfortable. Dr. Oh was nice, knowledgeable and quick to complete the procedure. My son did not experience any pain during nor after the procedure was done.

Negative experience: Stay FAR away. Went in for pain due to a damaged filling, and was assigned Dr. Ayuko. Absolute incompetence. He gives no time to review the issue with me, the time that he did spend was used by him to discuss his displeasure with their DSO. Told to come back two weeks later for a root canal. Come back, and he tries to do it on the entirely opposite tooth! "My notes say this tooth, I'm the doctor, are you saying I don't know what I'm doing?" Yes Dr. Ayuko, that's exactly what I'm saying. The office is a joke. I got a proper root canal at another dentist who cares for their clients and knows what they're doing.

Fantastic experience: I swear I’ve spent more time in the Burger King drive thru. I was in, novocaine’d up, and my tooth was out before I could say “hey, how long does it take to yank a tooth out?” I’d highly recommend this place. Everyone was super nice. It’s very clean. The dental hygienist made me feel comfortable when I told her I was stressed about the whole thing. I may go back to have a tooth pulled just for the heck of it.

Negative experience: Scheduling is ridiculous. Don't waste your time. I scheduled my appointment online for 08/29/2025. I received a call a few weeks prior and they told me that there was an issue with the online scheduling so they rescheduled my appointment for over a month later 10/03/2025. Prior to leaving the office, they scheduled me for another appointment on 10/10/2025. Today, two days prior to that appointment, they informed me that I have to be rescheduled again because someone messed up and scheduled me, an adult patient, with a pediatric dental hygienist. I asked for a November appointment as I have work priorities but they kept on providing dates that will not work with my work schedule. Do not waste your time. I'm finding a different dental group/office as Family Dental Group of Fishkill just wasted my time.

Positive experience: Parents: You need to specifically ask for the dentist to be in office for an exam when making an appointment otherwise youre only getting a cleaning with no exam. The hygienist is the best though, very happy with her. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: From a parent who never loved the dentist themselves (and probably would have if I grew up with a dentist like this one!), my daughter loves it here! From the sunglasses for the bright lights and the cozy blanket to make them feel snuggly - everyone here is amazing with the little ones! They also give them the power of choice from flavors, to toothbrushes and all things into their goodie bag. Highly highly recommend this dentist office for your littles (& as an adult!)

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with periodontist Dr. Tola on August 1st, 2025, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I arrived at Family Dental Fishkill, I felt welcomed and well cared for. Dr. Tola was incredibly attentive—she took the time to thoroughly examine all my X-rays and carefully explained the treatment plan she developed. I really appreciated how she made sure I understood each step of the upcoming procedures. Her assistant (forgot her name) was also wonderful—patient, gentle, and professional while taking the X-rays. The entire team made me feel comfortable and confident in the care I was receiving. I’m grateful to have found such a dedicated and compassionate dental office. Highly recommended! Update -- I went for a third visit to the Family Dental Group Fishkill for a deep cleaning. Dr. Tora took the time to thoroughly examine me and clearly explained my concerns and treatment. The entire procedure was efficient and seamless, and I’m very pleased with the results. The assistant—whose name I unfortunately don’t recall—was both friendly and professional throughout.

Fantastic experience: Dr oh the surgeon was amazing & so we're all the nurses/employees there! Everyone makes you feel super comfortable. I was having a bit of a panic attack before I went under for my 2 wisdom teeth and dr oh & the 2 nurses calmed me down and made me feel very at ease & comfortable ..woke up and didnt realize I was even done! Fantastic experience: I have been taking both of my children to family Dental For a few years now, and I must say, Dr. Melissa Saintil Is always amazing… She always remembers my children. She always makes us feel welcome always explains things in Clear and comprehensive way which I love. Also, we seen Julie her assistant for the first time this visit and she was amazing with the cleaning and honestly her personality is really suited for young children 10 out of 10. Recommend my children love going to the dentist.
