Negative experience: My experience was extremely poor. I suspect that the other reviews are the best money can buy. We had an appointment first thing in the morning for wisdom teeth removal. We waited over an hour while the doctor was busy with other customers. Nobody kept us informed. Sure there was a reflective apology but it seemed like the doctor does this all the time. We had insurance but were told that a simple wisdom tooth removal was over $3000 dollars and we had to pay the difference. We should have left but we had already spent two hours there. After the surgery, the doctor didnt even bother to come talk to us. They hit all the bad points of a medical visit! Update: i was immediately contacted by Voss dental to elaborate on my experience. She spent a fair amount of time with me making sure she had all the points of improvement. My impression is that she took it all very seriously and there will be action item in the future. Hopefully these issues will be addressed.

Fantastic experience: TAUVANNE, SHEILA, ANNNA and the entire VOSS DENTAL team are absolutely amazing! I moved to Texas from California and was looking for a dentist that I could trust. A customer service here is amazing and they are always specific to each patient's needs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Negative experience: The biggest liar ever. The manager and the staff are not responsible for what they have to do and blame it on someone else. If you complain, They will block your phone number and cant call them. The owner is scared to talk to the patient when they make a mistake and patient is upset. I called several time and she refuse to talk to me but she were over and could hear me because I heard her when she was saying OMG, OMG, OMG when I was complain with her another liar manager over the phone. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They all have a fake smile over.

Negative experience: After they do very bad job on my tooth, six months later. They have a audacity to call me for a flow up .After they already damaged my other teeth. My tooth was okay. I was have only one tooth that was bad, and i went there to remove it and clean up . but after He done with the work. I have another problem On my left side up of my teeth, Very sensitive can eat anything very painful and I went back there let them know that I have another problem. He tried to redo it again... 10 minutes later he tell me that I'm good to go. When I went back home i feel the same problem again, and I went back for Third time let them know that I still have the problem. he try again, and still the same never fix it. so Now I give up and trying to find better place...will never go back there. ‍♀️ They don't know what they're doing. They just going to take your money and left you with more problem. back doctor with no experience with a high price ... please do not make the same mistake. ‍♀️

Negative experience: It was my first visit, they did scan and evaluation of work need to be done and scheduled for the next appointment that we both agreed. Staff and doctors were extremely friendly and nice. But later, confirmation came for a different time. I called and ask that we agreed for totally different time, and I can not come earlier since I have strict work schedule. But they refused to reschedule. I cancel my appointment and now see almost $600 bill on my insurance. Be careful people.

Negative experience: This place is great don’t get me wrong, but I’m currently here and my app was at 10 am it’s currently 10:54am so I’ve been waiting for about an hour, I don’t understand the point on an appointment if it won’t get honored.

Negative experience: I called and was asked to hold for “just a minute,” but ended up waiting over 15 minutes with no response. This level of customer service from the front desk is disappointing and unprofessional. I hope management addresses this issue to ensure better communication and respect for customers’ time.

Fantastic experience: Over the past year I have received great care at Voss Dental. I underwent major dental surgery here months ago; the lead up, surgery, and follow up care has all been great. Tauvanne was very helpful and understanding with my initial appointment, treatment plan, and the financial details. Dr. Hsu was very detailed and performed my surgery well. And his follow up care has been good. Pricing is competitive, financing is available, and the office staff worked well with me for appointments. I have already sent 1 friend to Voss, and I recommend them to anyone.

Thank you Voss Dental for making it right!!! —————————————————————— I was referred here by a family member and my initial impression was that they have a nice facility and a generally amenable staff. The fact that they offer financing with a third-party to help make dental work, more affordable as a plus and it’s part of the reason that there are even two stars on this review. I went here for a root canal and a crown about nine months ago. It was already a struggle to arrange time off of work to attend appointments, but it was additionally frustrating about how many appointments were required for the entire process. At minimum had everything gone as plan, it would’ve been a total of three appointments for the root canal procedure, impressions for the crown, and delivery of the crown. That confused me initially because the last time I had identical work done with a different dentist, it was completed end to end in two appointments, but I decided to go with their established process. As someone who has had major procedures/trauma/facial surgeries, I experience extreme anxiety around having dental work done. I literally had it explain this to 2 receptionists, several nurses and 3 doctors before finally being passed off to a doctor that provided a script for 2 anxiety pills prior to my procedure - including one of those doctors telling me that “I just didn’t look that anxious” to him. So, 3 appointments later, and after being permanently glued, this crown has now come out a total of five times, no exaggeration. The first time they did some additional work on my tooth and reapplied the crown and after it came off again they created a new crown (which required additional appointments and time off from me) and that one has come off on its own several times. Each time it has come off I have not been eating anything and intensely crunchy or sticky. The last time. I was eating Alfredo sauce and pasta. Add that each time it comes off I experience tooth pain which doesn’t make sense if they did a root canal to deaden the nerve At this point, I doubt my boss even believes me when I tell him that I need to make yet another appointment for them to get it right. Considering it has been a couple months since it came out the last time and had to be reglued, I begin having issues with another tooth rather than starting over with a new dentist, I returned to Voss for another root canal and crown. The root canal work was literally completed not even a week ago, and the first crown has come out again. Now I am reconsidering, whether or not I will return for the second appointment to proceed with applying a crown to the second root canal because they couldn’t make the first one actually stick on numerous attempts!!! I honestly don’t know what else to do or say at this point considering I am still making payments on the initial work that I’m having problems with. This is legitimately a dentist office, they have one job. At what will now be eight appointments and counting I am seriously in doubt on whether they can actually do it.

Negative experience: Charged $150 for a clearly faulty nitrous oxide tank. Manager was rude and extremely defensive. Don't go here unless you want horrible pain and to be swindled.

Negative experience: I've been to Voss Dental numerous of times and the few times I have seen the orthodontist he has been the most rude dentist there. I was referred to see Alireza Hourfar by the dentist they did my fill in and I also wanted to get a consultation for braces. He always seem like he’s in a rush and as if he can’t answer any questions his patient has. When I had questions he would leave out the room and have his dental assistant try to help but the assistant didn’t know the answer to my questions so she had to bring him back to the room. This encounter was from the first time I ever seen him for a consultation. His attitude has been awful every encounter, and he hates when his patients ask questions. I would hope that the dental school he went to would have taught him that it’s over to educate your patients and help them. He told me I wouldn’t be able to understand simple questions because I don’t go to dental school. I simply asked him to see my X-rays and he assumed I wouldn’t know what I’m looking at so he didn’t want to show me. If you’re looking for an orthodontist please make sure you’re going to someone that won’t rush you out of their chair and someone who loves to help and educate patients on their teeth. Because this orthodontist is the complete opposite. By far the worst experience I’ve had with a dentist. I would not want someone with this attitude and lack of care working on any tooth of mine.

Negative experience: Terrible dentist office with even more terrible receptionists and customer service. I've been coming here for a long time because I did my braces there, so I've seen the way the receptionists behave over and over again. First and foremost, the smaller gentlemen with curly hair, a nose piercing, and glasses, spends the entire time gossiping and speaking so loudly everyone in the patient waiting area can hear. From gossiping about his coworkers, love life, his boss, to the most vulgar comments. Being bilingual, I heard and understood it all in both Spanish and English. FYI- the TV is not loud enough to silence your inappropriate conversations. I went yesterday for a cleaning and was told I had a cavity. The dentist told me he thinks it could be touching my nerve and requested another scan. The hygienist said she didn't see anything, then walked away and came back and said the dentist said I needed a root canal and crown. Then the treatment coordinator came and told me I had no insurance (which I do) and said it was going to be $2,600. She left and came back 2 times with different numbers and information. She then told me my total was $934 IF I needed a root canal. So, the hygienist said no, dentist said yes, and treatment coordinator said maybe/possibly don't need a root canal. After I finished up with my cleaning I went to check out and the girl with short Ombre hair with bangs and lash extensions had to be one of the most incompetent receptionists I have ever come across. Since I got to the office and walked up to the desk, she was the only one available and did not greet me. She had her head in her hands the entire time with a stank face and didn't speak to me. I was helped by the white girl with a nose ring and curly hair with a red strand in it, she was sitting all the way to the left. She was very kind to me and helped with the insurance confusion, so definitely a shout-out to her because she had great customer service! When I sat down, the girl with the bangs was complaining the entire time about how her head was hurting, and she didn't want to work and didn't feel good and every patient who came in was not attended in a friendly manner. For my check-out she had no clue what to do. We needed to schedule a visit with the Endo and she asked what dates/times I could come in. She said no to everything, and every question I asked she just looked over at her coworker to answer it for her. I finally had to ask if there were certain times and dates the endos were available and surprise surprise, there is. Zero accommodations for timing and all she did was repeat the dates that I had already said no to. I ended up scheduling but cancelled because the headache of incompetent, unprofessional, receptionists and staffing is not worth the headache. If you are looking for a better dentist and don’t mind the drive, go to Portrait Dental in Katy. I wish I would have made the drive out there instead of dealing with this.

Negative experience: Just finished calling them, and they couldn't explain to me what the 65 dollars a month payment is for. One implant, the top arch or the bottom or what. I am calling to get info, and if you all took time out to answer questions, maybe that person would want to make an appointment. This was the second time calling them to get information, and they did a poor job

Came in for a cleaning and left super happy with their work! Both the doctor and the hygienist are great people super nice and down to earth! Positive experience: Everytime I come on time for my appointment I have to wait 35+ minutes to get seen ! It’s crazy . Then they lied and told me I wouldn’t need gum surgery before I got my braces and of course months down the line now I all of a sudden need the gum laser surgery. The 3rd party financing does not accept HSA which is wild. Update : ANNA was amazing and I wish I had her through my whole braces journey! The Orthodontist made the suggestion again about the gum surgery again but he did not say it was mandatory . I was in and out in a timely manner so I believe they are improving on the scheduling procedures. Overall I will continue to get services here. I got my braces off and my teeth are perfect !!

Negative experience: This is the second time I have waited months for new Invisaligner trays. The communication is terrible and this is very unacceptable considering the fact that each month the “contracted amount” of 160 is drafted from my account with no problem. You all are taking money from me with no products in return. When I expressed my concerns yesterday all the doctor had to say is why did I not come in earlier.. because your front office administration stated the earliest I could come in was 6-7 weeks out. This is ridiculous and very unprofessional.

Negative experience: I don’t write negative reviews until it’s critical as I’ve owned my own businesses. Just came back from the clinic. I was trying to dig further about doctors diagnosis and recommendation after the x-rays. Dentist Ehab said he won’t get along with me, his style is different, and didn’t answer all my questions. I asked him not to jump to conclusions in the first 5 mins of meeting, I could be going through a personal stressful situation. To that he said it was nice meeting, got up and left with his technician. I waited there and no one showed up. After a few minutes Not sure if it’s just Ehab who’s arrogant, too quick to judge people, and unnecessarily rude in their face or the entire practice. I’m only documenting my experience.

Fantastic experience: I’m always nervous about going to the dentist! Kenia and Dr. Hsu made the experience very comfortable. She was gentle with the x-ray and cleaning process. He made the fillings go by so fast. They worked very well together! Thanks very much for making my visit the least stressful as possible. All there staff was very polite and professional. I recommend going to Voss Dental.

Negative experience: Make sure to call your insurance to check in they are in network, I was referred here by my dentist and they never once mention they were not in network. I went ahead with the root canal procedure that doctor boululi recommended and was shocked when my insurance told me they were out of network and there was no prearrage rate. So they fleece my insurance and wipe out all my benefits. I had to pay 1k out of pocket as well... I think they are not transparent in their billing so always ask for a statement plan and make sure you know what insurance is paying and what you are owed. Lesson learnt the hard way

Fantastic experience: Went to Voss Dental yesterday for the first time. It was a very busy day for them. That being said it didn't stop the staff top to bottom from being true pros! Dr. Tsu really cares for his clients. He's an excellent dentist. His assistant Kiara made sure things were comfortable and had a great attitude. Highly recommend this duo and this place for your dental needs!

Fantastic experience: Amazing visit. First time visiting the clinic and I was very impressed with how nice the staff were at check in. Unfortunately the power was going in and out the day of my appointment lol. But the staff was very nice about the matter. Josh who was my dental hygienist was sooo sweet, he helped me rescheduled my appointment. I was seen promptly and it was no pain whatsoever, My teeth feels and look amazing. Josh was very gentle at cleaning and for the inconvenience he gifted me with a teeth whitening kit demonstrated how to use it, I love the treatment and I will be making this location my primary dental office. Thank you Josh and staff :)

Fantastic experience: Very trustworthy and the receptionists/nurses are very respectful especially David and Brian. The nurses are very helpful and are able to reassure you if you have any questions. Overall, a solid 10/10

The doctors were so gentle & understanding to my needs and i love that they took the time to explain my whole treatment and answered all the questions that i had. Fantastic experience: I don’t know why I took so long to go here! This was the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. I went in as a new patient today and everyone from reception to the dentist were kind and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there. The procedure itself was also a breeze thanks to their staff.
