Fantastic experience: They're usually efficient, they know their job, and they do their best to help you.

Negative experience: My bill here is estimated to be around $28,000. It took more than 20 minutes to fill out one of their forms on my iPhone 13, which their software refused to accept and send. The software does not allow you to print out your work at this point, so you cannot save a copy. A call to the office tells me that I need to do the form on a computer, rather than a phone. The form itself has serious errors, as it does not allow you to specify Medicare as the primary medical insurance. $28,000 is far too expensive for the patient to have to suffer their poor choice of software!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hyatt is the best he always assure you and makes you feel completely comfortable!!

Negative experience: I would give Fewer stars than zero if possible. I had a consult appt for a very painful extraction needed. That went well only to find out they “couldn't”schedule the procedure until 6 weeks later. I told them I was not able to sleep or eat and it had been 2 weeks of this already trying to get in somewhere for help. I was told to call daily to ask for cancellations which I did. I asked to see a different surgeon who may have a sooner appt. but was told that’s against practice policy. Dollars first apparently. I was surprised that their priority wasn’t to do what’s best for the patient. There was only one day I couldn’t come in bc of a 1 day flight / trip for a new job. The day before that flight when I called, I told them that was the only day I couldn’t come. The scheduling mgr (Robin) told the receptionist to offer me 7 am that day even after I had just said that was the only day I couldn’t make it. I asked to speak to Robin. They put me on hold for 19 min. After a while, I realized the office had closed while I had been on hold. Someone picked up after hours (answering service maybe?) and had no idea why I was on hold but that everyone was gone for the day. I asked to be transferred to Robin’s VM. Trying to hold back tears, I left a message that she has not returned to this day over a week later. If you’re looking to be treated with any care or compassion, look elsewhere. I did and I’m So grateful because I won’t have to deal with these people again. Medical care in this country has degraded to the point of people being able to casually ignore people in major pain and asking for help. This is clearly a top down issue is employees are able to Ignore messages and be so callous. I hope they replace Robin as a manager; the way I was treated speaks volumes about the practice patient approach and ethos.

Negative experience: The operator answering the phone is rude unprofessional, and disrespectful when I called and said I have questions about what oral surgery deals with to see if they can help with my dental issue put on a long hold and put in a voicemail, then called back the same operator then lied said she didn’t wouldn’t give me a supervisor or her name and hung in my ear. l wouldn’t recommend this oral surgeon based on having rude unprofessional staff. You’re unprofessional staff member is giving this business a bad reputation, other reviews had same experience with the person answering you’re phone

Negative experience: We had to take our 15 year old for 4 extractions. We saw Dr Naiden and had a horrible experience! Our consultation went fine but when we came in for the procedure he had no patience whatsoever. She was very nervous and he played right into it. The more anxious she got the less patient he got. I would not recommend them to an enemy. Ended up going to Akeso and had the total opposite experience!

Fantastic experience: I was visiting OMs from Delaware and was referred by my Dentist for Oral check up on a lump i thought could be cancer. They worked me in for an appt with Dr. Kim for 2 days later. He did a thorough exam and it turned out to be nothing. Big relief!! He and his assistant ((Evelyn) were both very nice, professional, and understanding.

Fantastic experience: My experience at The Maryland Center for Oral Surgery Owings Mills Md. was great. The receptionists were very kind and informative. The process went very smoothly. Dr. Kim was my Oral Surgeon and his team. He is very knowledgeable and very understanding of how I was feeling about my 4 wisdom teeth being pulled. He assured me everything was fine. My procedure was at 9:00am and I was done before 10:00am Dr. Kim called me at the end of the day, Which was very nice, really a great experience. Thank you Dr. Kim, Shelly and the rest of the team for making my 4 wisdom teeth removal a breeze…….

Negative experience: Called last week (last tuesday)to schedule an appointment to get a tooth pulled. My referring dentist sent over the xray. Their Receptionist said they got the x-ray and would call back with 24 hours with a "treatment plan" to get the tooth pulled. They never called back. My referring dentist referred to a different place, a mile away and got the tooth pulled Friday. That dentist and my primary dentist were puzzled as to what was complicated about the tooth, as to need planning as it was a loose wisdom tooth. I personally have a feeling the receptionist didn't take my call seriously, and didn't know what she was talking about. Maybe I called during their lunch break and she just wanted me off the phone. Weeks passed since I got the tooth pulled and they never got back to me. Which should say a lot about their organization Oh well

Fantastic experience: Dr Stanhope and both assistants that helped during my consultation and extraction were kind, helpful, and professional. The wait was short, they answered all my questions and explained things thoroughly and they listened when discussing concerns and adjusted accordingly. I would highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: Had appointment scheduled for February 14. It was a month ahead. Waited about a month and they just postponed it to March 18. This is total disregard to patient's needs, receptionist was rude and did not care.

Negative experience: I am extremely tired of doctors offices calling days prior or a week prior to an appointment after a patient has waited weeks or even months for said appointment for a “ scheduling “ issue aka he’s going on vacation. To push said patient’s appointment back another month . It’s unprofessional and it’s inconsiderate. This behavior is deplorable. Hoping to find a surgeon that’s consistent , reliable , prioritizes his patients and respects their time.

Negative experience: I called this afternoon to schedule a new patient consult appointment. I was put on hold for over 2 hours before I finally disconnected and called again. When I (gently) let the person who picked up the phone know that I had been on hold for over 2 hours, they said “oh okay” and put me right back on hold. I was so encouraged by all the positive reviews here, as I’ve had poor experiences with doctors in the past, but I am not feeling that way now.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Hyatt for two extractions I was so nervous and often thought about cancelling the appointment. Dr. Hyatt’s warm smile and genuine concern made me feel so much better and the procedure went better than I thought. It was quick and painless!!!! Love Dr Hyatt

Fantastic experience: Office staff was great. But Dr. Stanhope was AMAZING!!...I was nervous and he put me right at ease. His bedside manner was top notch..He even called to check on me...I honestly don't feel like I had 3 teeth removed this morning. I felt nothing and I have no pain. His care and knowledge helped cure my major fear of the dentist. If you are looking for quality care and compassion when you're afraid of getting dental done like I was, stop putting it off and reach out to Dr Stanhope I promise you that you won't be disappointed. This is my honest opinion. I am not an influencer and I was not paid to do this lol...It's the truth...

Fantastic experience: Went to the Cockeysville office to get wisdom tooth removed and an extraction in my gum cause teeth had formed a cyst around them. Dr Micael Schwartz was my doctor. He is truly a one of a kind oral surgeon. When I woke up I didn't even realize the procedure was over. I had a little discomfort in the office that was immediately treated. My prescriptions were already once I got to pharmacy for pick up. Dr Schwartz called me to see how I was feeling. Such excellent bedside manners. I would definitely recommend him to family/friends. He is very knowledgeable and also his staff is A+. Thank you Dr Schwartz for a stellar experience!!

Fantastic experience: After two pregnancies that were rough on my teeth, I had to get three extractions. I am so happy my dentist referred me to this practice. Dr. Hyatt and his team made all of my anxiety disappear - they were all so friendly! On the day of the procedure, I was greeted with smiles and playful conversations from the moment I stepped foot into the office, until the second I walked out. The procedure went flawlessly and I have no pain.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a consultation at the Owings Mills location and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was a little nervous going in but from the moment I walked into the office I was more than pleased with how I was treated throughout the process. Dr. Colin Stanhope and his assistant were awesome. Everyone else that helped me were very courteous. Everything was explained to me very well and was given all of the options that I had. Glad I picked this organization and location.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional service by all staff members. I had my lower teeth removed and had full lower implants performed. Dr. Hyatt made me feel comfortable and Loved his chair-side manner. He is one of the greatest! Please check out this business for any of your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous at first but Dr. Hyatt and Emmit, his assistant were great. My procedure was completed quickly and I have had minimal discomfort. But what really sealed it was the phone call from Dr. Hyatt at 8pm just to check on me. Great service. I highly recommend him and this practice.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with Dr. Schwartz. He canceled my procedure the day of (they were an hour behind as well). The day of my implant procedure, Dr. Schwartz wanted to retake X-rays because of some uncertainty with doing the procedure. It’s not that I don’t respect him wanting to be safe and ensure good, long lasting results, but he had months to do this and he decided the morning of (I had taken off work for a few days to prepare for this procedure) to retake my X-rays. I just thought it was seemingly unprofessional and incompetent. I left the office, got my refund and will never use this surgeon again. Also- the music in the office was way too loud and an inappropriate genre of music for an oral surgery establishment.

Positive experience: I’ve been to this office maybe 2-3x before and I’ve always had a good experience both with the doctors and their staff that is why I have chosen this location multiple times for me and my family members. I went there today, June 10th to have my tooth extracted and I was surprised that after they asked me to open my mouth, without any explanation on what they are about to do, they swab my gums with local anesthesia, waited a little bit for the topical anesthesia to work and then the doctor proceeded to injecting the anesthesia without even saying a word, no explanation on what he is about to do. I just felt insignificant or unimportant for a proper explanation. The procedure went fast though, no complications but I just wish they will take some time to talk to their patients because needless to say simple explanations help patients feel reassured and understand the care the can expect.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars because this the best oral surgeon ever. Staff friendly and Doctor was awesome took him 5 minutes to complete my procedure. I hate going to dentist but here I didn’t even know he completed work and it didn’t even hurt … will definitely refer friends and family.. Special thank you to Ms. Jackie she help keep me calm because I was nervous before I got started she so nice and treated you with care while waiting to see Doctor Julious Hyatt the best … Thank you all ❤️

Fantastic experience: Dr. Michael Schwartz makes the visit possible with his empathy, kindness, and honest explanations. He is the best Oral Surgeon in all of Maryland, and his office reflects this. Emmet was my x-ray guy who made me less nervous. Thanks to Dr Schwartz for his most scientific approach to each new problem, and making me feel like everything will turn out right.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Schwartz and his staff are awesome, kind, and caring. I had a wisdom tooth removed today (5/14). The team helped me to feel very comfortable throughout the process. Dr. Schwartz checked on me to confirm I was alright before leaving the office. He also followed up with a telephone call much later in the day to see how I was feeling. I highly recommend Dr. Schwartz. Also, if you experience dental anxiety, I strongly encourage you to consider this team.

Fantastic experience: My visit today for multiple extractions and an implant were professionally, painlessly done with great care. Dr Schwartz maintained a very friendly and personable interaction throughout the procedure. Unfortunately, I can’t recall the names of the ladies that assisted Dr Schwartz during the procedure but they also were outstanding. The gentleman, Emmit that prepped me for the procedure was great settling any nervousness I had before the procedure. Overall, the entire staff including check-in were awesome! Fantastic experience: Coming to the dentist can be pretty scary. My anxiety is always high. The entire staff made me feel extremely comfortable from the front desk to the back door. They assured me that everything was going to be okay and that I was in great hands. They were right. I had major dental surgery with NO PAIN. I would recommend this office over and over again. Positive experience: Satisfied Service. Surgeon was informative and empathetic with my questions and concerns. Nurses were compassionate and hospitable. Phone call communication consisted of long-wait times and needed to leave messages. After care instructions and communication was exceptional. My only suggestion is to include extra clothes and velcro for head wrap. The velcro didn't last 24 hours.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing oral surgery office and the BEST 12/10 recommend! I had to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed yesterday & was super nervous since I’ve never had surgery before. Dr. Stanhope did an incredible job and his staff made me feel so comfortable, it felt super quick and the pain is not as bad as I expected it to be!! Dr.Stanhope also calls later in the evening to check on how you’re doing after surgery, which is super nice! I had trouble finding the perfect oral surgeon, so if you’re looking, THIS is the place to go!!!

Fantastic experience: I had an extraction performed by Dr. Hyatt and his attending staff at their Ownings Mills facility. Everyone was super nice and thorough. Dr. Hyatt explained my procedure and answered all my questions in great detail. I’ll return in a couple of months for part 2, with a consult for an implant procedure. I highly recommend this practice and especially for anyone who may have reservations around dentist offices and procedures. They will make you feel at ease.

Fantastic experience: My follow up appointment with Dr. Schwartz, for the first time in the Owings Mills office. Similarily to Hunt Valley very positive experience. Starting with the front desk lady, then the doctor's assistance personnel to reviewing the results of my treatment with Dr. Schwartz. My husband had a question for the dentist about his teeth & Dr Schwartz took his time & answered him. Many offices would have rushed us out of there. The waiting room was packed with patients.

Fantastic experience: Had a very good experience with Dr.Hyatt. He has a positive attitude and is very knowledgeable. The staff is also very friendly. They use technology to make a 3D image of your teeth, which improves accuracy of your procedure. The only downside is they are pretty busy and you will likely wait a month or 2 for the consultation. I believe it's worth the wait.

Fantastic experience: I was there for a consultation with Dr. Schwartz. Everyone was friendly, prompt and professional. So far, very pleased! Back 3 months later to have my implant done. Fantastic experience: Everyone in this office is wonderful, caring and kind. I keep telling folks I'm in love with Dr. Schwartz because when it comes down to it, I'm never happy going to the dentist but he has a great way of putting you at ease. Fantastic experience: Good client interaction with Admin staff, though some confusion about my wife's Dental card where she could have received a reduction in payment, great Dental tech support, Great Dr. support in achieving what I came for. He was successful where the previous two Dentists (specialists) were not. He was successful with my wife's dental needs too. Overall, Great experience. Great experiences continue. 11-9-23 Minimal wait time. Dr. Hyatt was timely and efficient in reviewing implant work. Assistant to Dr. Hyatt Heather) was most excellent; competent and great interpersonal skills. A breath of fresh air in a doctor's office.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Hyatt performed a difficult bridge removal prior to extracting the anchor tooth. He was pleasant and reassuring throughout the procedure. Best of all, he expertly administered the local anesthetic, and as soon as he saw me begin to wince, he topped it off. It was very nice receiving a call from him at home this evening to check on how I am doing. Very pleased with the care I received. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kim and his staff were very nice to fit me in after their scheduled appointments as an emergency when I experienced a very painful cracked tooth. The front office staff was helpful and friendly, the surgical staff couldn’t have been more kind. Dr Kim was helpful in explaining the procedure and performed the extraction in less than a half hour. I didn’t believe him when he said I would only need Tylenol for pain, after having been in excruciating pain for 5 days - but it felt like a miracle! All my pain was gone! What a relief. Thank you Dr. Kim and Staff! I’ll see you in a few months for my tooth implant!

Fantastic experience: I had Dr. Stanhope take out all 4 of my wisdom teeth and was super pleased with how smoothly the surgery and recovery went. I chose to go under general anesthesia and the Dr made me feel very comfortable. a little over 2 weeks post op and I’m doing great!!

Fantastic experience: I severely cracked my tooth at 10am. I contacted the office and they immediately made an appointment for me for the same day. I was in the Doctor's chair in about 3 hours. I needed the tooth removed as it was cracked in haĺf well below the gum line. Dr. Hyatt was absolutely Awesome. He removed the tooth then installed an implant. It is now 5 hours after the procedure and I don't need any pain medication. Thank you Maryland Center for Oral surgery!!!

Fantastic experience: The greatest oral surgery I’ve ever had. I was still asking “Is the tooth coming out?” when they were already done stitching. I literally didn’t feel a thing LOL!! Very professional and friendly staff, Dr. Kim even called to check my progress hours later before he left the office for the day. Tooth 31 is gone and I’m healing up well, I can’t even see the stitches and it hasn’t been a full 12 hours later yet. Thanks again!!

Fantastic experience: This is my 2nd or third experience with Dr.Schwartz and I could not be more pleased with the experience which by definition won’t be fun. His staff is pleasant extremely competent and very professional. Dr. Schwartz is all that plus excellent at placing and installing the implant.

Positive experience: The wait was almost an hour. The procedure time was around 15 minutes. Thankfully Dr Hyatt and his team were awesome. But why such a long wait?? I should wait to do this review after the numbness wears off. I might feel like I got punched in the jaw and my review of this office may change.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kim did an amazing job with my emergency wisdom teeth removal. I was in a lot of pain. I called the office and they had time for me that morning, the procedure toke around an hour, whole visit was about 2 hours. They did a fabulous job and i would recommend Dr. Kim and the entire staff to anyone. Great people, very kind and informative. 10/10

Negative experience: Dr. Hyatt here is an absolute joke. After seeing me and scheduling me for surgery to remove my wisdom teeth due to extreme pain, he proceeded to cancel on me one time (through a weird message app, not even a call!), NOT prescribing me any pain meds or antibiotics, leading me to need to go to the ER for pain. Then, after my ER trip, I was on my way to the surgery appointment when he CANCELED FOR A SECOND TIME! 40 MINUTES OUT FROM THE APPOINTMENT! I was never given any medication for my pain and swelling, and Hyatt canceling twice on me was absolutely unacceptable. It was only via luck that Schwartz was available to help me get them out, and get me medication, but do NOT see Dr. Hyatt. He certainly won't see you!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful Experience, Dr. Colin is a fantastic surgeon. He is great with the injections. He has bedside manner as well as knowledge of his craft. Those two are hard to come by. Expressing both makes him a fantastic doctor. He surely makes his mom proud!! The entire staff were very professional and compassionate in my care. Thank You Again!!

Fantastic experience: The office was very clean. The ladies at the front desk provided a warm friendly professional atmosphere, great first impression. The dentist took the time to explain in detail what was going to take place. He patiently answered all of my questions. This was a very good experience and I highly recommend this office and specifically Dr. Colin Stanhope. The young lady in billing was also friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Michael Swartz is the best. It takes a long time to get an appointment with him however he's worth the wait. I've had a lot of dental work done over the years and he's the best oral surgeon I've ever had. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: This was by far the best experience I have had at a dental office. The office was very clean. The staff was patient and kind. Dr. Stanhope was the best he took his time to explain each step before he proceeded, he made my daughter feel so comfortable before she had two teeth pulled he made small talk, he engaged with her. It was painless for her. I would give this office 10 stars. I would recommend anyone who needs oral surgery to Dr. Stanhope. 10/10 recommend. Best experience ever. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: One day post tooth/root extraction. Feeling like I felt prior to extraction, pain free, still some tenderness. I'm completely satisfied with the success of Dr. Hyatt taking care of the extraction in no more than 10 minutes. I felt a little pulling & one piece of tooth/root was out then the 2nd one. I delayed extraction to get mentally prepared from 7/28 to 8/16/23. Wish I had not done so because Dr. Hyatt took great care of me. If you need a tooth extraction, I highly recommend Dr. Hyatt, someone who definitely knows what he's doing!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was professional, friendly and kind. They made sure I was comfortable. They even gave me a pillow for my neck. Dr. Schwartz was kind and was recommended by my family dentist, Dr. Virmani. It was quick and painless. I was given written instructions for home care and it all went very well. Fantastic experience: I am truly pleased with the service I received. Everyone in the office is very pleasant. The dentist who performed my extraction was thorough. And very informative, and his chair side manner (lol) was impeccable. My 8 yr old son was in the room, on his tablet. He ensured he was comfortable before beginning. My tooth was out, comfortably in 30 mins or less. I received a follow up call from the doctor to check up, after the procedure! Dr. Schwartz was great at making me feel comfortable and also called me about a couple hours later to make sure I was doing fine. Fantastic experience: When I called for an appointment, I was suffering in extreme pain and Danielle was very sweet and compassionate and did her very best to get me in to see Dr. Swartz as soon as possible. Dr. Swartz and his team are nothing short of amazing. Went in needing an extraction due to a fractured root canal with an infection that had been going on for many weeks due to a misdiagnosis at another dental practice . Dr. Schwartz immediately identified the tooth needed to come out. He was so good administrating the local anaesthetic that I didn’t even know it was happening. And the extraction experience itself was super fast and painless. Dr. Schwartz is a highly skilled oral surgeon with an impeccable bedside manner. If you need any oral surgery/dental implants this is the place to go. Highly recommend, you will be in the best hands possible.

Fantastic experience: Great customer service. Wonderful Doctor and understanding. Told him that I cry when I see a dentist he was genuinely gentle with me. Explain I must of had a bad experience and he understood. Biggest problem to be true full is waiting for an appointment. He said he has 2 more Dentist coming in August. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have zero complaints. I wasn’t in the schedule i had come in as an emergency fully prepared to wait a few hours. I didn’t have to wait a long time. Everyone from the front desk to the surgeon was extremely nice. Answered all of my questions, granted reassurance and even called several hours later to check that I was okay. It’s as good as a dental appointment can get!

Fantastic experience: My first time having general anesthesia for oral surgery went great. I was so nervous but Dr. Hyatts friendly and cool personality really kept me calm. He is unquestionably the best dental surgeon in Maryland....and probably in the entire country. I just left his surgical center/ office in Cockeysville where he extracted a molar. Over the years he has extracted numerous teeth of mine, installed 12 implants, performed an apicoectomy, etc. You name it and I've probably had it done. I've had all of my procedures done under local anesthetic, and I can honestly say that I've never felt any discomfort- EVER! He is an artist when it comes to giving shots. I've had many different dentists give me shots over the years, some of them very painful, so I know what I'm talking about. As for all of the procedures that he has done for me, it is simply amazing how quick and painless he gets things done. The molar that he extracted this morning took less than two minutes. He first came in and gave me a shot and then left the room for about 10 minutes while the anesthetic took affect. The tooth that he pulled today was broken off at the gumline so there was literally nothing to grab onto. He sectioned it off into three separate pieces, as the tooth had three roots. He then pulled out one piece at a time and in less than two minutes he was done. Not only is Dr. Hyatt an exceptional surgeon, but he is a genuinely nice guy who really cares about his patients.. This evening, probably around 8 o'clock, I will receive a phone call from him to make sure that I'm doing OK. This is something he has always done after every procedure… He takes the time to call me from his home to check in and see how I'm doing. He's one of a kind. I also want to mention his staff. From the time you enter his office until you leave every person you come in contact with has a smile on their face. This morning I had interaction with two receptionists and the dental assistant who helped with my tooth extraction. All three of these people could not have been nicer. I simply cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hyatt and his surgical center. Fantastic experience: I have no negative comments at all,just high praise.I don't complain about the wait because it's not often do I wait longer than my scheduled visit time. A longer wait time means that he is giving another patient a little extra TLC. My visit went over the expected time frame, because Dr.Schwartz was dealing with an extremely tight space and he wanted to make sure it was done precisely. I truly appreciated his dedication for accuracy and precision. Once he finished the implant, he thanked his team for their good work.I've been a patient of Dr.Schwartz for a couple years now. Each visit has been nothing short of a great experience. The entire office staff is always helpful and professional Dr.Schwartz explains everything as he goes through his procedures. The staff was caring, pleasant, professional and very calming. If you need any Oral Surgery or Dental Implants I recommend you go to the office in Owings Mills only. Dr Michael Schwartz even called later to check on me. You don't find that type of care these days.
