Fantastic experience: I love all of the nurses and the dentist here!! Dr. Fred has been amazing through my kids surgery and fixings ! They are attentive, explain in detail, and compassionate! Highly recommend to anyone looking for good dentist for their babies!!

Negative experience: Those receptionists are not helpful I feel like a brick wall could do more than them.

Fantastic experience: It's amazing that literally everyone you encounter at this business - front desk staff, dental assistants, dentist - EVEYRONE is unbelievably friendly and kind. Our son has special needs and not 1 time have we felt uncomfortable or unwanted due to his disability and how he reacts in a dentists office. In particular, Dr. Frank seems to have a way with children. He is able to make even the most uncomfortable child be somewhat at ease vising the dentist. I can't say enough of praise for this dentists office. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMMEND!

Fantastic experience: I just took my son 3yo to his first appointment! The staffs really does take their time and making sure they’re comfortable and they don’t push them to do what needs to be done if they’re uncomfortable. I really appreciate all their help. My son now likes going to the dentist

Fantastic experience: Sophia's room for my daughter's post opp was absolutely amazing, my daughter has sensory problems so its hard to stay still in other rooms that are less decorated but she enjoyed the dinosaurs, the books and the monkeys on the light to look at! Very kid friendly and sensory friendly as well! Was in and out!

Sophia C. you were by far our favorite! The room instantly set the mood for my son to feel nice and calm. He felt at ease the moment he walked in and your kind attitude made it even better! Fantastic experience: Seriously the very best place around! I recommend them to everyone I meet and suggest to friends and family and all facebook communities. If your child needs a dentist, go here! I travel over an hour from where I live. Also, if you have multiple children, they can do them all pretty much the same time. They have multiple doctors and are absolutely incredible with the kiddos. They have tvs on the ceilings for kids to watch while they are getting their teeth fixed as well.

Negative experience: I made an appt for my son to be seen. Arrived at our appointment today and as my son was getting a cleaning I was told that I owed over 100$ for his visit because they are a premier dentist and my insurance, delta dental, only covered 60%. Why didn't they tell me this when I scheduled the appointment or even while checking my son in. Why was I told mid cleaning. The cleaning was maybe 5 minutes. Then as I was checking out they told me I had a credit on my account and that I owed nothing. Again why didn't they tell me this prior too because then I wouldn't have had to decline xrays. Overall not impressed with the reception staff, billing or overall service

Fantastic experience: I brought my son Eli in . We had switched from another local office. Both kids have dental anxiety from that office. However Valley Pediatric Dentistry took their time with my boys. The hygienist was so patient and spoke gently to my youngest during the entire cleaning. He called her kind. The dentist Ms. Ballantine is wonderful. She was cheerful and acknowledged Eli and chatted with him while she looked at his teeth. She then explained in detail what we needed to do for Eli’s teeth. She was kind and wasn’t in a rush to get outta there. I really like her. The differences between the old office and new are like night and day. I recommend this place for all kids but especially ones that are afraid of the dentist! They will be doing a sedation for both kids. And I’m grateful that I can sit with them while they go to sleep. It’s important to let our babies know we are right there. Switch to this office if you haven’t!

Fantastic experience: Receptionist got us in for my 4 year old with autism, for an emergency crown replacement with in two hours! Not only was she amazing but the dentist and hygienist are just the best, patient and nicest we’ve ever been to.

Negative experience: My child had a bad experience getting a cavity. So then we tried sedation dentistry and three cavities turned into five. We paid in advance. While my child was unconscious, they came out and wanted more money said there were more cavities and wanted to do another procedure. I cannot speak on the cavities performed, but after getting a second opinion it seemed they were trying to do more work than necessary. I felt so taken advantage of. Then months later I received another unexpected bill.

Without question this is the most attentive, skilled, patient, and caring dental office for pediatrics in this area . I just want to thank the entire staff especially Dr Fred, his assistant Justin and also the female assistant that helped care for my daughter during her procedure.They took the upmost care and concern for her and answered many questions along the way . Super informative and just an all around incredible experience for us both . Thank you valley pediatrics team . You're all rock stars and it shines through and through that you take pride and passion in everything you do here. Negative experience: Going down hill. This place has become extremely crowded and loud. The technicians change by every visit. I recognize no one. The dentists themselves are great but it’s everything else. Today our hygienist didn’t know how to take pictures. She needed another technician to help her. We went in for an emergency appointment and all they did was assess, not fix. We have to wait another week. Took photos while waiting….

Negative experience: I really liked this place when I first brought my kids here but now it’s so overly crowded and overwhelming loud to the point you can’t even hear what the hygienist is saying . I felt like I was in a factory , awful service , my daughter barely had her teeth cleaned and the dentist barely looked at her teeth . The dentist spent maybe 5 minutes with my daughter and moved on to the next patient . I will not go back . Not quality work or patient care at all .

Explaining everything in great detail and most importantly taking the upmost care of my son during his procedure. He is such a special man, you can tell he was made to work with children. She's only 3, and is excited for her next appointment! She loved both, the hygienist, and the dentist! Thank you all for making her feel comfortable! Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience. The waiting room is large and clean with some interactive children’s activities. We waited at most 5 minutes to be called. Once we entered the cleaning area, both the tech and dentist were extremely helpful and patient with my almost 3 year old daughter who was feeling very anxious about her cleaning. We opted to brush and try the dental tools next visit. The dentist was wonderful at engaging with my toddler, she did a demonstration on my daughter’s lovey and allowed my daughter to feel comfortable. Throughout the process the dentist sang the itsy bitsy spider and put my child at ease. At the checkout station we received a reward and were able to write my toddlers name on the board to join the “zero cavity wall” . Overall we had an amazing experience and my toddler left happy. We will be back. Thank you for your kindness and patience.

Negative experience: I called to make an appointment today, October 14th, 2024. Around 8:30 am, and the lady on the front desk was rude and disrespectful. I tried to explain everything and she was very rude and she did not want to listen to me. That’s why I’m not going to make an appointment in that facility, she made me feel very bad.

Fantastic experience: Best Pediatric Dentist around!! I've been taking my kids here for at least 16 yrs and they are about to age out. Hope to find an adult dentist as wonderful as this place! From cleanings to braces to scheduling their isn't a bad word to say. Through the years it has grown beyond belief as a practice so its gotten extremely busy but it hasn't effected my girls care one bit!! 5 stars all the way.

Both of my kids have some anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist and they are always so patient, kind, personable && reassuring that it makes the process so much more comfortable for them! Both dentists take their time when explaining things to us, and as a parent, that goes such a long way because it just shows they truly care about my children and their wellbeing! :)

Negative experience: This is not a review on a provider or dentist. This is strictly a review of the appointment process. We received a prompt response in reference to a request for appointments, however the response we received was a bit concerning. We requested new patient appointments for our children. The receptionist who contacted us started the conversation with “I see you requested new patient appointments, however (name of child) has had two no show appointments and on the third no show we can decline appointments” she continues her statements about their appointment policies when I had to interrupt her to state that my children have never ever had inquiries to their practice, much less had appointments booked. It was AT THAT POINT, she took the time to verify birthdate information of our child. She had another child’s profile pulled up and was siting their appointment no-show’s. She then stated “well at least you know our policy now”. After seeing and hearing about billing practices and charges that seem askew from time to time, we decided to not proceed with using this facility. Errors starting at the booking process can be extremely dangerous to patients and providers and also shows a lack of diligence. I’m not saying everyone or anyone else for that matter would have this experience, however we will not take the risk to visit a practice with such mannerisms.

Fantastic experience: the Valley Pediatric Dentistry team is absolutely wonderful! i had suspected my baby had tongue tie and set up an appointment with them for a consult over the phone (so so easy!!)! Dr. Kim, was the one who assessed her ties, (tongue and lip, class 3&4) and did so great explaining to me what it meant, what problems it can cause, and how treatment is performed + aftercare! i was lucky enough to get an appointment next day, to have her ties released and corrected! Dr. Kim and Sophia were MARVELOUS the day of! i was so nervous and Sophia did a wonderful job reassuring me that she was going to be okay, explained everything well, had WONDERFUL energy, and gave me a few extra minutes at the end to do feeding in her super cute decorated space! it took them MAYBE 30 seconds start to finish, to do the procedure and then was completed! 100/10 recommend them!! my baby WILL be back as a regular patient once her teeth start to come in!❤️

Fantastic experience: Very clean building, polite, informative staff. Our hygienist and dentist were fun and kind, we felt very comfortable. They were so quick and thorough and we were able to get all three of our kids in at the same time which is so convenient. Highly recommend for your kiddos!

Positive experience: The hygienists and doctor are great, but they are ALWAYS running behind. Even if it's the first appointment of the day....which is very frustrating. I don't think we've ever had an appointment that didn't require at least an hour, for a simple 10 minute cleaning.

Fantastic experience: We have been very pleased with the professionalism, the courteous nature of the staff (front and back of the office) and the ease of getting through the appointments. Today after his appointment, my 12-year old said he really liked the guy who was the hygienist. He said, "he seemed like a cool guy". We'll done.

Fantastic experience: The office is very nice. They are very informative about caring for your child teeth. They go into great detail with the child about what they may be doing wrong and what is necessary to take care of their teeth. They are very accommodating and friendly. The office clerk from today was very helpful and friendly. If you want your child teeth to have the best care, this office is the best!

Fantastic experience: Love this place! Everyone is so polite! Reah is so helpful at the front desk with arranging both my kids cleaning/ortho/cavities apts and making sure my daughter was seen before her vacation with her dad. Love Dr. Fred! He's very informative and super nice. The kids feel absolutely comfortable here and they even have a game projection in the waiting room Justin was wonderful as well!!

Positive experience: I have 2 children with sensory issues and anxiety about dental work and the assistants and dentists have always been kind, considerate and patient. They put us all at ease and my oldest no longer has trouble with his cleanings. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I always love this office so much. The kids have fun when we walk in and I think it makes them more comfortable with seeing the dentists. The dental assistants are always top tier with their friendly-ness and compassion towards my children! I’ve seen a couple dentist but the woman dentist(I forget her name) who seen my kids today was so sweet! I just really love this office for my children!

Negative experience: I loved it here until they wanted to change a bill the day of an appointment. We were quoted 500 for a procedure and even the insurance documents came approved at the same cost. Day of the procedure our new quote was for over 1200 dollars. They couldn't explain the difference other than they now wanted to separate the procedure into 6 visits. This was predatory and greedy. Canceled all my other children's appointments over how we were treated. We were warned about this place from other parents in the area that is is lipstick on a pig. Looks good from afar but is really far from good.

Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Valentine. My son has sensory issues and she was wonderful with him and gave me realistic advice to help him with his oral hygiene. She also took the time to speak with me about my daughter and gave helpful information for her continued dental health. The privacy of my children’s and my information is important to me and that was protected as well. I have been in situations where medical information has been stated loud enough for the whole room to hear, and that did not happen here. I really appreciated that.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience with Dr. Fred! We went to him with our three month old daughter who had a tongue and lip tie. He spent a lot of time with us explaining the procedure and was honest about what was actually needed. The surgery itself was expertly and quickly done, and now we’re confident her little mouth will be able to develop properly. Thanks Valley Pediatric Dentristy!

Fantastic experience: Valley Pediatric Dentistry fit us in the next day! They were so nice and welcoming. My son needs an extensive amount of work done and they were so comforting. I drove from MD to see them and I am so happy with my choice!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Valley pediatric Dentist for almost 2 years for all three of my kids. They are always punctual and polite. My girls really love the assistant Anita. She is kind and gentle. Check in and check out are always quick and and answer any and all questions I may have.

Negative experience: My daughter was put to sleep to have extensive dentistry work done to her mouth ever since having it done threw them her fillings fall out at least 3 times a year so much so my insurance couldn't cover anymore fillings and I had to pay out of pocket last year. When calling to schedule they book you out MONTHS having a 5 year old wait MONTHS to get her tooth fixed AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very friendly. The waiting room was clean and the game in the corner was very entertaining during the wait. The dental hygienist was patient and understanding with my daughter. She had a hard time with the X-rays and the hygienist did everything she could to get the X-rays without making my daughter feel bad or rushed. This is the 2nd time we saw the dentist and both times and he has been super understanding, great with my daughter and not pushy. He also takes the time to answer any questions and explain everything thoroughly. I have also brought my autistic twins here and they were great with them! The staff actually listened to the advice I gave to help keep them happy. They didn’t push them too hard. Just got done what they could and we left with zero meltdowns. This is a great dentist office for all children! They will find a way without making you and your kids dread the dentist. As a parent, that’s all you can ask for!
