They're very thorough making sure to communicate any issues coming in so they know what to look for and how to fix it. I'm so glad we changed dentists. I'm just disappointed we didn't do it sooner. We absolutely love Children's & Teen Dental.10/10

Fantastic experience: The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The office is clean and very nice. I scheduled an appointment for all 3 of my kids and they were able to get seen the very next day. The staff is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and gentle. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my kids felt comfortable during every step of their treatment. I really appreciated how they answered all my questions without rushing and offered honest advice about my kids dental health. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for quality dental care in a welcoming environment!

Fantastic experience: Got a new patient appointment pretty quick, did all of the check in online, lobby had a play area for kids, didn’t wait in the lobby very long, staff was friendly, I got to sit with my child while he was being treated and the dentist was very thorough with the issue my child was having. This place came highly recommended and I’m glad I chose to go here.

When I tell you the entire staff are the absolute best, I mean the absolute best! They are so patient, kind, and they know how to make the children and parents feel comfortable. We will not take our children anywhere else! Dr. Smiley is literally the best

Fantastic experience: Very clean office, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Both of my kids were extremely nervous going in, but both left with clean-er smiles!! My son has to have a baby tooth extracted, but he isn’t even nervous about it now. It was also very quick!! My toddler is even excited to go for her appointment now! Dr. Smiley was quick but thorough as well.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome!!!! My son had a gum infection and his last dentist didn't do anything for it. This place on the other hand was on top of it. Plus my kids love going to them which is strange bc they hate the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Children and Teen Dental-Gardendale is a wonderful pediatric dental practice. The receptionist was very pleasant at check in and welcomed us with a smile. Sarah is a caring and patient hygienist. My son was ready to hop in her chair as soon as we got to the treatment area! My daughter, on the other hand, was not having it and was very scared but Dr. Smiley and her team were very patient with her and managed to apply the fluoride treatment with ease. Dr. Smiley is very personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable. She made sure to address any concerns that we had and always provides helpful tips to help us develop better brushing and flossing habits. My son is wheelchair bound but the clinic is accessible and always accommodates him without issue. We will continue to drive from Madison, AL, for Dr. Smiley and all the wonderful staff at Children and Teen Dental-Gardendale!

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Dr Carol Anne and all of the staff! I drive over 30 mins for my kids to see her because they absolutely adore her and everyone there! They think going to the dentist is fun and I would like to keep it that way!

Fantastic experience: Today was my children’s very first visit to the dentist. This place was beautiful and kid friendly the moment we walked in. The hygienist was warm and welcoming and took us back within 5 minutes. The Dentist was thorough and explained everything with clarity a child could understand. I’m so happy I’ve chosen Children and Teen Dental group. Both of my kids walked out happy and actually excited to come back. Now that In itself is quite the feat, I mean, who really likes going to the Dentist? THANKS AGAIN !!

Forever Smiles gave an extensive list of work my 3 yr old would need done...doctor at Children and Teens took actual x-rays and he only needed 1 small filling. Everyone was kind and friendly. While getting my child’s two teeth pulled today I got a little lightheaded and the nurses brought me an apple juice and crackers. They are awesome! Dr. Smiley was great with my son as she talked to him through the whole process.

Fantastic experience: This was our first visit here. I was blown away at how quickly it went by! It almost seemed not thorough enough, but it was, lol. I appreciated the dentist letting me view my daughter's teeth X-rays and explaining things/any concerns I had. The hygienist/tech was patient, friendly and understanding with my daughter's questions and nervousness. We saw a different dentist than who the appointment was made with, but no biggie. This was also the first time that I've been to a dentist where the patients are literally laying only feet from each other, in the same room, having stuff done; interesting setup. I would only recommend, just out of courtesy/privacy, to not be so loud when coming out to speak with the patients about what procedures they're having done & other details. Maybe do that behind the closed doors. :)

Fantastic experience: The staff and Dr Padma are all amazing! Anytime we have had any kind of dental emergency they work us in or they will ask for pictures to show the Dr and they stay available on text messages explaining what is going on etc. They are all so sweet and gentle. Kelsey up front always answers the phone when I have called and she is just amazing and so sweet! I am so glad I switched my boys over to this office. Thank you all for always being ontop of your job and being so welcoming!

Fantastic experience: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I Took both of my children to Children and Teen Dental- Gardendale today. My little girl who is 18 months was not scared of them at all! They made us feel welcome and loved! My little boy who is 5 had some cavities that needed tending to. They took care of them today and we were still in and out in under 2 hours! I was so impressed with our visit today!

Fantastic experience: I can't stress enough how thankful I am for Children's and Teen's Dental! Dr. Padma Gulur was absolutely wonderful today, she worked fast and effectively to see what was causing my child so much pain and pointed us in the right direction. My daughter has been seen by this Dental practice for years, she loves the doctors there. she's not had one bad experience while being seen. They make her feel comfortable and make sure to address any concerns that she may have , whether she's having a cleaning or other dental work done. Thank you so much to all the staff for everything that you do!

Positive experience: We've been coming now for a while and have always been happy with our service / dentist. however my daughter was not happy with the dentist who cleaned her teeth she said she was very aggressive and hurt her teeth very badly which has never happened. I could tell she was aggressive when she approached me to tell me the results after she cleaned her teeth. If it's noted in our chart who we used today we will make sure we don't see her again next time. Other then this issue we love coming .

Fantastic experience: I love this place so much! I can’t even begin to explain just how wonderful they are with kids. They do their best to keep your kids comfortable. My daughter was very anxious about being at the dentist. She tried to jump out the chair every time a new instrument was introduced. They took their time to explain what the instrument was and used demonstrations. They were so patient with her and made her so comfortable. I also like how they have televisions for the kids to watch as they’re being worked on. I wouldn’t go any else for my kids. Not to mention how fast they get you in and out.

Fantastic experience: Today (04/26/2024) was my son’s first dental appointment he’s two years old and I couldn’t be more proud of him and the staff for how they handled the situation. Children and Teen in Gardendale is a great place if you want to have your little seen by dentist/staff who care and have patience to help make your little feel as comfortable as possible for their first time or at any point.

Fantastic experience: This was the best denist I have ever been to with children ! They are very kind and my kids dont like anyone that they think is a doctor or nurse but they wasnt scared at all here . They are very patient and understanding .
