First was for a xray and second one was for a cleaning and I have forgotten the nice ladies name that took care of me. Have scheduled several other cleanings with her. Set up a plan to get the other teeth fixed and never once forced me into anything yet. Have many more visits to go to yet so we will see

Fantastic experience: I had my appointment for my annual teeth cleaning on Thursday. I was taken back in good time, and prepareed for the procedure. My tech took my X-rays first, then Dr. Came in and checked, my teeth. Then the cleaning began, my tech was very efficient and gentle. My experience is always good at Bay Smile Office.

Fantastic experience: I was from out of town on vacation dealing with severe tooth pain all weekend. I called them as soon as they opened Monday morning. They got me scheduled for late morning. Got there a little early, they took me right back and got me X-Rays, doctor Michael Grandy seen me shortly afterwards. He was very knowledgeable and through along with funny. He gave me medication to help with the infection till I can get back home. One day later I feel so much better. The whole staff was very professional and the office was spotless. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

However, the entire staff is super nice! Tiffany is the sweetest and most personable. She ALWAYS remembers what is going on in my life and asks about things. And I love the different flavors of fluoride.

Negative experience: *Edit*Still love Dr Gangwisch but they will no longer accept me as a patient since I had the unfortunate experience of having Covid twice and missed appointments. I have been to several Dentists in the Bay County area and this has been the very best experience. Clay Gangwisch and his lovely staff are so friendly and efficient. I am so glad to have finally found a dentist that is trustworthy!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Bay Smiles and especially Dr Grandy. I was expecting a consult for a situation late on Friday with an appointment for another visit. However, Dr Grandy immediately handled my emergency including the arrangement with a specialist for the same afternoon to complete the task. Fantastic experience: ** For starters, please read any of the few negative reviews with caution. We don't know the true story. Most seem like rare isolated incidents where the patient is more to blame than the dentist. I'm just say'in.... (and no, I'm not compensated in any way for my review. I give credit, when credit is due.)** Dr. Gangwisch and his assistant, Karen, are the absolute best dentists I have ever had in my 48 years of life. And, I've been to a few. It's not just me who thinks this. I referred my parents and they have referred several friends who all agree Dr. G is the best in every way! He is honest, friendly, gentle, and always has your best interest in mind. Instead of telling you that you need a new expensive crown, he will tell you to "keep an eye on it, if it breaks apart more or gives you trouble, then we can deal with it. For now, it has some more life in it." - (paraphrasing). They have two offices. I have gone to both depending. One in PCB and one in Lynn haven. I live in PCB, but I'm still not far from Lynn Haven. They also have 3D printer machines that will make your crown right inside their offices. No temporary needed nor are you having to wait 2 weeks in most cases. Bay Smile prices are fair and they can set up payment plans. Karen, his assistant, as well as Dr. G...we consider our friends. Because that is the vibe they gave/give off from my first visit 7 years ago (2018). They are a cutting edge dental practice and as professional as any dentist could be. Don't waste your time anywhere else. I use to avoid the dentist at all costs. Went many years without going because I hated it that much. Until my bad teeth caught up to me and I had no choice. But, after having a lot of work done by Dr. G, I don't mind going to the dentist anymore. Because they make it seem like its no big deal. Easy come, easy go. My teeth are awesome now! By the way, Dr. Gangwisch has 4 other dentists working within his Bay Smile practices...so if you have an emergency, they always have a dentist ready to help. I now have a mouth full of perfect teeth thanks to Dr. G and Karen.

Fantastic experience: Bay Smile Docs got me in quick when I lost a crown. It was going to be an easy fix, until they looked at my X-rays. I didn't realize I could have so much damage under my crowns from not going in for exams and cleanings last year. Now I need a bridge. Dr. Melter is the only dentist to touch my teeth since 2004 and I will trust him with this work, also. The best in the county!! _________________________________________Ok, so I came to do a new post about Dr. Melter and saw that I forgot to post that last one. I went back yesterday to get a temporary bridge on my right front upper teeth. It was a 4 hour ordeal once he got under the other crowns. He was gentle and he and Terry talked to me and kept me calm through the whole thing. The extraction of my piece of tooth that was the reason for the temporary was another long process, more than the doc expected. But, he waived the extra cost and accepted the original amount after my chin try insurance payment. I love Dr. Melzer and his assistants and everyone in this office. I recommend these good folks to anyone who needs excellent dental care from someone who isn't in it for the money!!!!

I haven’t had the opportunity to meet Dr. Gangwisch. The office staff keeps this place in tip top shape! I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes in the lobby. The dental assistants are so sweet. They are great at chatting and keeping me distracted so I don’t get too nervous in the chair. Fantastic experience: Dr Melzer and his assistant Terry are wonderful. I came in as a new patient for a cleaning and x-rays and Dr. Melzer discovered a cavity. My next appointment was for the filling and I was apprehensive as I had not had a filling in years. Terry is so friendly and made the experience easy. Dr. Melzer was so gentle that I did not feel any pain at all. This is by far is the best dental experience I have had. Dr. Melzer and the entire staff exceed my expectations and I’m thrilled to be a patient as this practice.
