Fantastic experience: Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They were professional, gentle and very nice. The equipment seems state of the art to me too, but maybe that's just because I haven't been to a dentist in several years. This is a great place.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wylie is a wonderful Dentist. She made me feel very comfortable with the root canal procedure as I had a bad experience with a previous Dentist. All of the people who work there are all caring and very warm. They all make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend this place. Best Dentist I ever had . Fantastic experience: Great experience all around on this visit! I came in with a chip around a filling and some pain but mainly afraid it would crack worse if I didn’t get it treated quickly. The staff was so quick, thorough and kind and got me in and out in less than an hour. And with absolutely zero pain even on the injection. I wish all doctor visits were this quick and easy! Fantastic experience: I have always had the very best experiences with this location! Every single person on the staff is so welcoming and is very talented at making you feel instantly comfortable. The exams are thorough, but everyone who has worked on me has had a gentle touch. Even my partner, who has a big fear of anything medical due to poor past experiences, said this was far and away the best dental experience he has ever had, and he is looking forward to returning after straightening out unrelated insurance issues. I also appreciate that after the new night guard I got with them started cracking and breaking off after only a couple months, they apologized and explained that they've since switched to a new lab that uses stronger materials to produce the guards, so they will replace mine free of charge. Additionally, I've never felt like they've tried to upsell me on unnecessary things. Even my aforementioned partner, who has some extensive dental work needing to be done, said that they gave him options he didn't know he had by explaining preventative procedures he'd never been offered before. He now is likely able to keep a tooth he was convinced he would have to lose. It's so reassuring to feel like they just want you to have a healthy mouth and to feel comfortable and safe while achieving that! See y'all next time :)

Fantastic experience: I had such an amazing experience at Enamel! All the staff were extremely friendly and the office is very clean. They have great up to date technology and X-ray equipment and you can even watch Netflix during your appt! I saw Dr Petersen and she was so great and took the time to discuss a treatment plan with me. The front desk staff was also fantastic and walked me through my insurance coverage and answered all my questions. 10x10 wild recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Truth be told, this is a reluctant review. I don't want to tell everyone about my favorite dentist, or their awesome staff. So, I am not going to. I will not drivel on about how caring, practically minded, and generally pleasant people they are as they do one of the most thankless jobs on the planet. I am not going to say that their treatment plans have given my teeth and gums a renewed vigor and healthier, happier approach to their original purpose - the succulent taste of a well-incised brisket bite or, that of a crisp pink lady. I'd recommend them to anyone that has had a bad/scary experience with other dentists in the past. Everyone was very patient and kind. Very thorough too! The hygienists and doctor answered every question I had about my teeth and treatment plan, and showed me exactly what I can do to improve my gum health and hygiene regimen (no vague instructions like "just keep brushing"). Fantastic experience: Updating this because I had my second visit today and my 5 stars stand! Love this place, and I’m not typically a fan of the dentist. Their staff is so sweet and caring and I got to watch Gilmore Girls the whole time. In and out in an hour for my 6 month checkup and cleaning. Will be coming back! Went to Enamel for the first time today and felt well taken care of even before I walked in. Their entire team is a true delight and helped me feel at ease. They had their insurance head come in prior to my treatment and breakdown what my insurance would cover and what they wouldn’t and allowed me to choose what I could afford/needed most that day. Then the dr and nurses were all incredible and treated me with the highest care. Have never felt so in love with a dentist before!

Fantastic experience: Best hygenist ever today. So good and gentle. Also, I had 2 poorly fitting crowns replaced at Enamel and am so happy. No more cold sensitivity. I could eat salads again after years of avoiding anything cold.

Negative experience: This office attempted to employ predatory methods against me. Went in for a simple filling fix but walked out being quoted over 6 Thousand dollars ($6000!) worth of work, out of pocket, after insurance for a large number of things. I went and got a 2nd opinion at a different dentist (Glow) down the street on Southwest and they said the filling replacement was all I needed and paid less than $100.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted with prestige hospitality, nothing dishonest, just pure genuine spirit from everyone. As a healthcare worker I know the role it takes to make a patient feel comfortable and this office definitely exceeded that from the front desk rep to the dentist hygienist, everyone had great attitude. I like this place a lot.

Positive experience: Dr. Wiley was great, but their office must’ve had an off day. First they tried to polish my teeth before cleaning them. Then I waited 20 minutes in the chair for hygienist to show up. Finally saw the hygienist at 12 o’clock for my 1130 appointment. Total time for my appointment one hour and 30 minutes.

Dr Peterson is a true joy to see and for someone who digs around in your mouth or delivers somewhat sad news (I always have cavities) she makes the experience pretty good. Fantastic experience: Sunday afternoon I was miserable with an abscessed molar. I saw that Enamel had slot for an "Emergency - toothache" at 9 am on Monday. I took it, having never been there. I met Dr. Petersen at 9 am, and she'd removed that problem molar by 9:35. (I'd had a root canal on that tooth 25 years ago and again 20 years ago.) My relief was immediate. It was odd getting a molar removed, but it didn't hurt and my mouth hasn't hurt since. I am super grateful for Dr. Petersen and Enamel Dentistry.

Negative experience: Have been a patient at Enamel Lantana since 2020 but recently decided to switch providers after several negative experiences. Had to get a filling done and the anesthetic needle struck a nerve, which led to me squeal out in pain. The hygienist just started laughing. Serious lack of bedside manner for a healthcare professional and not cool. I also had a glob of cement stuck in my gums from a filling that led to an infection. I recently switched to the South Lamar location and it’s been a positive experience.

Negative experience: I had the weirdest experience going to Enamel for a simple cleaning. After being there for 2 hours (not exaggerating.. I was in the waiting room for 10 mins, then in the chair for over 1.5 hours), I got xrays, talked to 3 different people about the xrays (the xrays were completely normal- I have no issues with my teeth at all). Then they told me THEY RAN OUT OF TIME TO DO THE CLEANING LOL. Why in the world did they keep me in the chair for 1.5 hours and not clean my teeth? I was so confused. My husband called to try to sort out what happened and they told him they coded me as “needing a deep cleaning.” I ended up making an appt at a different dentist and was in and out with my teeth cleaned and zero issues identified within 30 mins total. I’m still in shock about how odd this experience was. Red flags for scam

Positive experience: Although I gave a 5+ star review when the owner, Dr Patel, was practicing there 2 years ago, now the new staff is not at his level - the office still looks very good, with modern equipment, however the friendly and smiling staff is somehow manipulative for dollars: I went there, choosing to pay any amount (since my new insurance told me in advance they do not have this office in the network), but the staff ignored my old records in the file, pushed and refused the scheduled regular cleaning, pushing for deep cleaning (after taking Xrays, as required) and also other unnecessary things like laser treatment etc (that Googling government articles, medical etc, I saw big risks of laser (cracking enamel etc) or deep cleaning (also with many risks, including receiding gums, infections, 4 months cleaning, etc, you can ask Google to display many articles). So, for an edgy diagnostics (based on probe measurements), these risks are not worthy now, but the staff refused vehemently my proposed Disclaimer. Dr Patel, you have lost a faithful admirer! To everyone reading this review: there are good doctors in Austin, but...it is a rich city, hungry for money (my insurance confirmed it), so my advice is to do your research and don't believe all you were told. If you take the risk, you can find many good hygienists' offices in Austin, even with the same day appointment. Thank you for reading, all the best!

Negative experience: I had a frustrating experience at Enamel Dentistry Lantana, that indicates significant issues with their communication and transparency about costs. When I initially called to schedule a teeth cleaning, I was quoted around $120 with the assurance that, as a new patient paying out of pocket, there would be no additional charges. After having to reschedule my appointment multiple times due to work conflicts, I confirmed the pricing each time, and the staff consistently assured me that a consultation prior to the cleaning was included in the quoted fee. However, upon arriving for my appointment, I was told that there would be an upfront $99 charge for the consultation, contradicting what I was previously told. This lack of clarity and consistency is unacceptable and left me feeling misled. Given this experience, I will not be returning to this practice and advise others to approach with caution regarding their pricing policies!

Negative experience: Horrible staff! Carmen (the office manager) and Kasandra are horrible to deal with. Kasandra lies and will say anything to get you off the phone and Carmen seems like an inexperienced office manager despite claiming she’s been doing this for 10 years. Rates here are also super high compared to other dentists. Don’t believe the fake reviews, go somewhere else!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr. Wylie and Dr. Peterson. They are both exceptional professionals with outstanding chair-side manners. They explain every step of a procedure thoroughly, both before and during treatment. They also take the time to discuss follow-up care and answer any questions you may have. Additionally, patients are able to see their dentist at every six-month cleaning visit, which is not always the case at other dental facilities. If you experience anxiety or fear about visiting the dentist, I believe either Dr. Wylie or Dr. Peterson could help change your dental experience for the better. Their kind and gentle styles make going to the dentist a stress free experience. Both of my daughters and I look forward to seeing these ladies every year.

Negative experience: I rescind my previous 5 star rating from a year ago and rate this 1 star for the following reasons: **Disappointed with the Decline in Customer Service** I used to be extremely happy with the services at Enamel Dentistry at Lantana Place, but sadly, things have taken a turn for the worse. Everything seems to have been switched to an automated system, and the lack of personal touch and proper communication has been frustrating. For instance, I kept receiving automated texts to confirm appointments, but no one ever bothered to pick up the phone and call me directly. The system then sent me a text the day before my appointment stating it was cancelled—again, with no courtesy call to explain or confirm this change. I had already blocked off time in my schedule, so this was a huge inconvenience. When I called to address the issue, I managed to reschedule for the same time. However, because of that initial cancellation text, my secretary removed it from my calendar without my knowledge. As a result, I missed the appointment and was subsequently charged a $50 cancellation fee. This experience showed a complete lack of good customer service and accountability. The reliance on automation feels lazy, and there’s no effort to ensure that customers feel valued or properly informed. I am extremely disappointed and will be reconsidering my options for dental care in the future.

Fantastic experience: WOW!! That's the best way to describe my experience at Enamel Dentistry. Dr. Petersen was amazing, I had to go in for a bridge after I had to have a front tooth removed and she was so patient and kind. I loved that she communicated with me through out the entire process. She was super professional and she was super easy to talk to. Her dental tech Leslie was absolutely a doll. She worked her magic and created a temporary bridge out of thin air for me so I didn't have to walk around anymore like a toothless wonder. She knew I was a little apprehensive as most of us are at the dentist but she kept talking to me and keeping me calm. Carmen helped me with the financing and went over all the paperwork. Dr Petersen and her staff were by far the best dentist I have been to in a long time. If you are scared and unsure about going to the dentist, put your faith in these people. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Lantana Enamel Dentistry for a few years now. Everyone is excellent, from the dentists to the hygienists to the assistants and administrative staff. They are knowledgeable, skillful, and empathetic. Both of my kids are patients there as well and have had very positive experiences. I have also recommended friends who have been happy as well. I can’t recommend them enough!

Dr. Paiva took the time to explain everything, and Maya was incredibly attentive throughout my visit. The care and attention to detail here are top-notch – I left feeling confident and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: In my 55 years on this earth, I have NEVER had a dentist that was even close to Dr Petersen as far as quality work and truly caring about her patients. She and her assistant Taylor made my experience there an excellent one simply by making me feel comfortable and like I wasn’t just a number. I have some health issues (cancer and back problems) that certainly make doing dental work a challenge, but they were quick with a blanket, pillow for my back, sunglasses, and most of all, a smile. I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr Bethany Petersen. In her, I have found my dentist.

Fantastic experience: Just recently moved to Texas from South Dakota and let me tell you... this is like no dentist office I've ever been to. I got the privilege to have Dr. Bethany Petersen fill my cavities. Not only was she amazing, but so was everyone else in the office. They have state of the arc technology, that I've never seen before; just blew me away! They did an incredible job. Would recommend it to anyone!

Positive experience: I really do love this place! I have high anxiety, and many times need to be sedated for the simplest of procedures at the dentist. Here, the dentist is fantastic. The only reason I give four stars is because the hygienist isn't always as empathetic or compassionate with procedures and my anxiety along with the pain I feel even during a cleaning. However, the dentist is always aware and calms me down when she is around.
