Fantastic experience: Even when there's a STAT request (cracked denture) everybody seemed ready to help out. I brought in the denture yesterday, and they should be ready tomorrow. This is an old denture, but they were confident it could be repaired. There will probably be a replacement in the foreseeable future.

Fantastic experience: 1st visit: Unfortunately the office experienced a doctor that had to leave early so my husband and I were asked to come in at the same time. This led to a delay in our services and we were there for almost 2 hours. Also technician made me feel it was my fault as she said my teeth were harder to clean than she anticipated. Just not a good new patients experience for us. 2nd visit: Completely satisfied. Excellent front desk, cleaning and checkout. Technician professional and quick. This experience complete turnaround from last.

Positive experience: This dentist accepts my insurance so I like that however, the actual Dentist don’t often stay at this office very long. The last time I had my teeth cleaned, the dentist did not even look at me. I have had problems with my gums and therefore have to pay for a deep cleaning every time continuing the rest of my life and sometimes wondering if I’m really getting a different cleaning than my husband does. I did have to remind them to check my gums this time

Fantastic experience: It was the most wonderful dentist apt. I ever had. I had dentures for 2 yrsi I had visits to other dentist trying to get my denture fixed so I could wear them I seen a new dentist at PRODENTAL He looked at my mouth looked at my denture and said this is what I would like to do I told him OK. He did it had me put my denture back in but it was different. I looked at my daughter who went in with me and grinned I said it don't hurt anymore and then I did something embrassing myself I started crying when I left and got in car I had a breakfast roll in the car I cut a small bite off popped it in my mouth and started to chew NO PAIN. WE STOPPED AT A STORE AND MISSY GOT CHEESE POPCORN I ATE TwO HAND FULLS I STARTED CRYING AGAIN ALL DAY ANYtIME I WAS NEAR FOOD.I ATE SOME THE FOOD TASTED SOOOO MUCH BETTER. THANKSGIVING IS COMING IM GOING.TO ENJOY IT AND IF I NEED TO SEE A DENTIST IT WILL BE THE ONE I SEEN WHO FIXED MY DENTURE NO OTHER HE WAS NOT ONLY A GREAT DENTEST BUT HE WAS SOOOO VERY NICE. Fantastic experience: I deal with a lot of dental anxiety due to previous bad experiences, and everyone here was fantastic at making me feel comfortable, specifically Dr. Atsitty! This was my first cleaning in a long time, and the hygienist was very thorough.

Negative experience: Absolutely worst dental experience ever. I have been someone that goes to the dentist every 6 months and my first experience last year was great but on 9/29 I left bawling. First off my hygienist said that I was prone to cavities, (I’ve never had a cavity in my life) and I said no and she said sarcastically that I probably have one now. I couldn’t believe she didn’t even know anything about my teeth when I had been there before. The entire time she was using the water pick she was spraying water all over my face and kept having to dab it off when she would stop. Never have I been covered in water during this process. Then the dentist (who I didn’t see last time and was a temp dentist) came and was staring at a screen behind me saying hmm I think that’s one and maybe that one and which number did I say. This freaked me out and she then looked at my teeth for about 5 seconds told me I needed 7 fillings and walked away. 7!!! For someone who’s never had a filling in 25 years I was quick to say I was going to get a second opinion. The hygienist then shows me some AI program I had never seen that told them where there “may” be cavities and she wasn’t even looking at my x rays. I asked questions and she didn’t even know how to answer and I said I would get a second opinion. I left bawling and called my previous orthodontist for a referral and went and saw Dr. Hamilton in Columbia the next day. They were lovely and he took new x rays and told me I have 1 and almost a second one that need filled and that’s it. Not 7. I booked with them because I will never be going back again. The absolute worst possible experience where I just felt like they were trying to get me to buy new treatments that weren’t covered by insurance that I had never heard of. I think they should truly feel awful for making someone think that their teeth need 7 fillings when I need 1 or 2 all to make some more money. Just be prepared for people that don’t know your records, are rude, and also will brush your teeth so fast to get done with you. Thankful I found somewhere way better who actually treat me like a person.

Negative experience: ProDental is mostly a good experience, they get you in and out without any fuss. But all your people and systems address me with the wrong name and pronouns. I know for a fact that the correct ones are in there too. I know it can be tricky in medical systems, but it adds to my dread every time I am due for an appointment.

Negative experience: I called the office and scheduled an appt according to what I read on their website that they have root canal treatment, the doctor manger saw me and said it’s not the root canal, it’s the tooth cavity under the bridge that I had so, I scheduled another appt for that, I figured out that there is another dentist, I asked about the first one he said I’m responsible for such work. Then he asked the nurse technician to remove the bridge and make a temporary bridge while he is filling the cavity. They gave me 6 weeks appt for the permanent one. Before the 6 weeks it divided to two pieces, I called the clinic, and was time for the perminant one I figured out that the color is light brown, I refused it, they gave me another 6 weeks after that the technician fixed it not the dentist. Then I had pain more than before and can not eat on that side, I went again & there was a third dentist who told me that I need to remove it and see what is going on, I refused because I don’t trust them anymore and I paid more than 5.000$, 2.600$ out of pocket and the remaining by my 2 insurances. They referred me to Jefferson City and I think it’s there way to end each work for them. I’m still in pain and I called the clinic as usual no answer just voicemail and no body called back. I figured out that they are not professional in a root canal as they mentioned on their website. I will call my two insurances to investigate the case.

Fantastic experience: They are consistently very nice, helpful, gentle, and considerate. Going to the dentist is rarely fun, but at least they apologize profusely for the torture. And I think they mean it .

Fantastic experience: My son has been with Aris twice. He has Down Syndrome and is very anxious about going to the dentist. Rather than insisting on a thorough routine exam, Aris took the time to go through each step with the help of a huge, lifelike mouth with my son. First, she would show him what she was doing, then let him do it on this plastic mouth. He warmed up to her, allowing her to do more and kept him engaged. Being intuitive with assessments is what makes her special. We will continue to build his confidence and trust and appreciate her patience.

Fantastic experience: I had just moved to columbia and picked ProDental as my new office! The workers were all friendly and accommodating! Everyone was patient when needed to be and I was happy with my clean!

Negative experience: Well you all sent me this to comment, but I have to say it was the worst teeth cleaning in my entire life. I had gone to ProDental previously and a very nice older black lady did the cleaning and she was great but I guess she has moved on, the young lady that did the cleaning was very rough and was in a hurry, the first ten minutes she talked to all the other techs about many things and was so distracted she actually poked my tongue and I jumped and she did not say anything she just kept going? When she flossed it was so rough my head was moving back and forth! I very rarely ever do these surveys but I will not be going back to there again.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very friendly and the hygienist was very sweet and gentle on the gums. The above was a review I wrote a long time ago and never posted apparently. But I have to rave about the repair on avchip that was recently experienced on my front tooth because of a fall. It wedged between my two front teeth leaving a separation. It is fixed perfectly! I appreciated both the friendly tech and the patience of the dentist as it took over an hour.

Negative experience: Called for some pain. I had high hopes because they could get me in right away. The dentist said he wasn't certified to do the work needed, so they wanted to farm it out to an office in jeff city. Then I has to wait on 3 other people to come by and do nothing so I could leave. After my meds were up I called back and asked if they could just pull the tooth. Receptionist said she would have to go ask the dentist if he could do that. She said she would call me back the following day. That's been 2 weeks ago and not a word. I'm not sure what these people do all day. I guess some standard dental practices are above their pay level?

Fantastic experience: It took me a long time to get an appointment, but once I got in, experience was great. I was taken back to a treatment room quickly and the team got started on my x-rays and measurements right away. The assistant, hygienist, and dentist were all efficient and professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment, taking care to avoid some painful spots I had pointed out. I need a few fillings, and they were able to get me scheduled quickly for those.

Fantastic experience: I’m 69 years old, and I’ve been to ProDental about five times now, for cleanings, and two crowns; and I really feel comfortable there. Very informative, highly skilled, very cheerful and likeable, all of them. I see Dr. Wymore, and you can tell he loves doing dental work. And note this: if you get tired of keeping your mouth open, ask for the “Tooth Pillow”. Not uncomfortable in the mouth, and it props the mouth open, and does suction both. The comments below, from other patients, also ring true for me: “Amazing staff” “… smiles and pleasant vibes…” “… explaining everything in full detail, so a person can understand what will take place.” “… very thorough…” “I really like the environment and the overall service here.” How is it like this? Response from the owner: “High-quality patient care is incredibly important to us.”

Fantastic experience: Pro Dental is amazing. They took care of my wife’s teeth and made her an amazing denture and partial denture. She is very happy with all the work they’ve done. Now it’s my turn to have my teeth fixed and get partial dentures! They pulled 2 teeth the other day and the dentist, Brennan Tolnay, did a great job getting my mouth/gums as numb as possible for the extraction. I’ve been recovering just fine since then. There’s still A LOT of restorative work needed on my remaining teeth, but I am confident that Dr Tolnay will continue to do an excellent job!

Fantastic experience: Calvin has to make a new denture and he also has dementia, it is difficult for him to tell the doctor how he feels about the new denture, Dr T was great he checked the denture and how the denture position in his mouth and tried to figure out what was wrong and tried his best to help Calvin, then he found out the upper one and the bottom one did not go together, so he decided to redo the bottom one. He had gone extra miles trying to make Calvin feel more comfortable with his new denture, we are really appreciated his effort and he sure is a great dentist. Tina

Negative experience: I went to get two fillings back in April. I had to go back a few months later. Instead of fixing the poor job they did, the dentist blamed me. A day later, my gums are purple and the pain is through the roof. I don't recommend.

Negative experience: Follow up Review (July 2024): I’m going to leave my original review up because the exceptional service received hasn’t changed. However the admin portion soured me so much that even if my insurance were to be in-network once more I’ll never return. After my last cleaning a few months back I received an email notice showing I owed the clinic money for services rendered. No problem I called Prodental back and they said “No worries ignore the bill we are taking care of this directly with your insurance”. A month later same notice. Same answer provided. A month after that I get the same notice I owe Prodental money. So I called and the person on the other end tells me “you’re going to have to call your insurance directly and sort this out because we have not received payment “. Ok cool I’ll sort it out myself. But before I did I went to Prodental’s site to see if they took my insurance and lo and behold my insurance was no longer listed. Same thing on my own insurance website. So decided to call insurance anyway and just ask if they knew how long ago Prodental became out of network and it was a full 2 months before i went in for my cleaning! So you mean to tell me that on my appt reminder call, you couldn’t inform me that I was no longer covered in network with my insurance?? And then couldn’t even figure out that the reason you weren’t receiving payments for my outstanding bill was because my insurance wasn’t in network EVEN THOUGH your own website no longer listed my insurance. The worst part is that I actually enjoyed my hygienist so thoroughly (as it relates to dental care) that I wouldn’t have minded paying the difference had you told me at any point! That kind of at best ineptness, and at worst cowardness in flinging me to deal directly with my insurance company is why I cannot recommend anyone reading this to do business with this company. However as I said my original review (below) still stands and If you don’t need to worry about your insurance situation or have enough out of pocket to cover services on your own then I’d still recommend. Oh and all 3 of my previous dental offices (including one locally) called me ahead of time telling me that my dental insurance at the time (United Concordia) was no longer in network and gave me the option to keep my appt or cancel. ORIGINAL REVIEW (2023): Came in with very low expectations not gonna lie. Long wait for initial appt, office was listed with other lower cost dental offices such as Aspen, Compass etc (alot of private offices aren’t taking GEHA Federal) so thought i was going to be getting a very low end experience like in the past. Such was not the case. Clean office, excellent layout but most importantly the Dental Hygienist Makayla was very professional but most importantly very very very very very gentle with my teeth. Did not feel one single shooting pain that i normally get when the hygienists are quickly scraping my teeth. Thats all i really ask for. I take care of my teeth really well but have a bit of sensitivity around my gums (made worse by allergies). Highly recommend place. Well worth the wait especially if ur already proactive with ur oral health.

Negative experience: 50000. For dentures. The whole ordeal was miserable. I still have trubles. I was never so excited to have a good dentist and beautiful new smile. Negative experience: First of all the building is posted NO weapons allowed. That scares me because it says to criminals it’s safe for them to shoot the place up. Then they have three 3️⃣ pages on an ipad of history to fill out that some of it is redundant and some of it is n/o/y/b. I was treated good by staff but.

Fantastic experience: ProDental had the friendliest staff! They are very understanding of those with dental trauma. Always do a very thorough job and prioritize the patients’ long term dental health. I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere they have created. You can ask all the silly questions and they do their best to answer. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: They sent me out to a specialist -which was fine. He was not covered by insurance and I had to come out of pocket for a deep cleaning on both sides. Fine. The problem I have is that Prodental did NOT EVEN GIVE ME A CHANCE TO PAY the balance I have with them Before they sent my bill to collections. It's not years old. And I don't have money just laying around!!! I tried to pay them today and schedule another appointment only to hear this!!!! I explained when they took me on as a patient that I only wanted what the insurance would pay for as I had to pay the specialist. They did extra x-rays, bill me and won't give me time to pay!!! Now I have to find another dentist because the work is not done and I know I'm going to have to come out of pocket to pay, which is fine. But I need someone who understands that I work and don't have it just laying around. I have to wait on a paycheck and I have to live as well. So to rush me to collections Not only Pissed me off but lost them a patient!!!! So if you don't have the money Right then and There, DONT GO HERE!!! If you Only have insurance and not additional money... DON'T GO HERE!! Even after explaining to them, they will Ignore you and Still charge you!!!

Fantastic experience: Great customer service, helped with getting finances for all my services for current and future procedures. Also extremely caring dental hygienists who pays attention to the patient’s pain and wants to know if tooth or gum pain and uses the numbing gel immediately plus gives it time to take effect before working on that area. Being in my 70’s this is the first dentist that has really cared for their patients and has turned me around from hating the dentist. Will continue using Pro Dental.

Fantastic experience: Good location. I never struggle or compete for parking. Nice waiting room. Depending on what day you go and what time of day the wait can last anywhere from 5-30 minutes (including showing up 10-15 minutes early to the appointment). Friendly hygienists. I've had both Sam & Kimberley! Both were super nice and kind. I transferred here from a small town dentist, and the service is amazing in comparison. I haven't felt judged about my oral health, and the recommendations the hygienists gave me for a nicer toothbrushes and mouthwash came with coupons! ProDental takes care of their patients. Would recommend.

Positive experience: Very personable hygienist. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Wait time was a little long but the care I received more than made up for that.

Positive experience: Been in pain/discomfort for months. Misdiagnosed a cracked tooth after a filling as a bite alignment problem followed by a sinus infection. Finally got a diagnosis after asking if it could possibly be cracked. I should not have to diagnose my own dental problems that I didn't have prior to a filling. Appointment is almost 2 months of away to get a crown. Miserable experience. Prior to this experience, 4 or 5 cleanings went fine and also had a filling done perfectly. Results may vary. Update: The staff and dentist were incredibly helpful in the final stages of this problem. After we were able to diagnose the cracked tooth, I was able to get the appropriate treatment and am now finally experiencing relief. A big thanks to the team at ProDental for helping me out given the circumstances.

Fantastic experience: Aris was pleasant, empathetic, and very professional in performing a gum procedure that was important to my health as well as the duration of my teeth. I recommended her to my lovely wife and others who want to go through the deep scaling gum procedure only once.

The appear to have the latest technologies and made things as painless as possible while working with my insurance to maximize my benifits. Would suggest anyone looking for a great dental office to go here and give them a try.

Negative experience: They are money hungry. Told us that when my mother got dentures that the price of realignment was included with the estimate. We paid in full and when she went back to get it done they wanted to charge her another $651.
