Fantastic experience: Dr. Thompson and his staff are the best. Great dental care. He and his staff take time to genuinely show compassion to their patients.

Positive experience: Got to a 9 am cleaning checkup appointment 15 minutes early. Took me back 10 minutes late at 9:10? Cleaning took 30 minutes, then I waited 15 minutes for a dentist to come in, quickly review x rays, teeth and state everything was good, couple of minutes. In total a 30 minute cleaning checkup was turned into over an hour?

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so professional and very kind. They take time to listen to what you say. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

For those of us that understand the importance of dental hygiene we're fortunate to live in an area that has several great options. For me and mine, since our move to Maysville, we've enjoyed River Valley Dental. From my first visit with Dr. Dan, an emergency root canal before a business trip, I knew this was the place for us. Always a great staff, friendly, fun and make you feel as relaxed as a dental office can. They still like to ask questions while their fingers are in your mouth, but I think that's the first class they all take in their dental training. You can't go wrong with RVD.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist in way too long after having negative experiences. I started experiencing some pain and they got me in right away as a new patient. All of the staff have been great, including the dentist. Never once did they make me feel bad about not going to the dentist in so long. They even gave me reassurance by giving me positives about my teeth! I just went back in to get 2 crowns and a filling and somehow they had me out of there in 2 hours! These have been the best experiences I've ever had at the dentist and it's highly appreciated!

Fantastic experience: I had to change dentist as mine retired. So I was a little apprehensive about going to a new place. Everyone in the building was wonderful. They seem to have a really good time. I had x-rays and cleaning done by Devon. He was great. Then later, I had a crack tooth that was filled by Dr. Brian and Becca assisted her. They were wonderful. I can’t say enough about how smoothly everything went.

They were extremely kind, considerate and nonjudgmental. They explained all of my options and we planned out a procedure to follow. Negative experience: Very disappointed in River Valley Dental. In my opinion they are just there for the money. They was going to charge $600-$700 for a night guard that I could not afford. Then I had a cleaning and the dentist was busy and couldn’t do post cleaning check. I rescheduled (I live an hour away) but b/c I’m having an issue with a tooth I r/s. They wanted to charge me an additional fee. No thank you. I will find another dentist. Sad. I thought the owner was a Christian.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend going to River Valley Dental for new dentures. Before my new Dentures they lined my 2012 set, they turned out beautiful. They have tirelessly worked with me to make me happy with the new Dentures as well as the fit and the way they look when I smile. They are wonderful and patient!

Negative experience: I will never go back there. Had a tooth pulled last Tuesday. Have been in pain since. Went back this past Monday they said it looked good just inflamed. Noticed last night they left part of the tooth. Goig to be there waiting on them to open today. Never again will I go there. I don't recommend this place at all. Went back this morning and they removed a huge piece of bone that was left from the extraction. How they missed it I have no idea. It was huge

Fantastic experience: I noticed one of my front teeth had become discolored with mild pain associated. I called around, as I did not have a regular dentist in the area. River Valley Dental got me in quickly for xrays and consultation with Dr Bryan. She presented 3 treatment plans. I ultimately chose a root canal and crown over an implant or bridge. She assured me that the tooth was worth trying to save and if she got "in there" and didnt think it would be ideal or successful, she wouldn't proceed. The front office were able to get me in the next day. I was very nervous as I have always heard root canals were very painful. It wasn't at all. Dr Bryant is wonderful. She made sure I was completely numb (which was the only uncomfortable part of the appointment). She completed the root canal and then used a sort of scanning technology to create my crown which was milled in office within minutes. I am floored at how this crown looks! It is identical to my own teeth. I was made to feel comfortable from the beginning to end, educated and informed of multiple treatment options, on top of receiving top notch care. Beautiful, natural looking work! Dr Bryant and her staff are the best of the best!

I really appreciated how Dr. Thompson stepped away for a few seconds after my anxiety started to rise and get to be too much after I heard some crunching and cracking during my procedure to remove a wisdom tooth.. Which helped tremendously!!

Fantastic experience: My dentist retired and I am a cancer survivor in poor health. I had a dental emergency and since radiation is involved it was important. My daughter is a patient there and told them my story and they got me right in. Very nice people caring people. They fixed my tooth and gave me a prescription for mouthwash Causing my pain to leave. The heavy treatment I had from cancer has left me With enough discomfort without that tooth hurting me. What a wonderful dentist office they run!

Fantastic experience: High recommend! I love my hygienist. Does a great, gentle job. Very personable. I’ve also gotten a night guard from them two years ago which was an easy experience. The dentists I’ve seen have all been professional. I haven't had any work done by them, so I can’t speak to any cavity filling experience.

Negative experience: Dentist at River Valley Dental looked at my teeth for 10-15 seconds and said she was “stumped”. No effort whatsoever. Not worth taking the day off work. Currently still feeling pain and looking for another credible dentist to handle it.
