Fantastic experience: I’ve been too many Dentist and I finally found the one that I am very comfortable. Staff is awesome. My doctor Dentist is awesome. Very clean with a great atmosphere.

Even though they like New York pizza better than Chicago pizza (I know, no one is perfect) I will definitely continue going. I have found my Wesy Valley Dentist!!

Fantastic experience: I experienced an emergent issue with my front teeth and I contacted this dentist. They were able to get me treatment within 24 hours. The entire staff from the front office to the dentist working on my teeth were kind and pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family and anyone in the market for a new dentist.

Negative experience: Terrible experience with this office. I asked a lot of questions and this seemed to annoy the dentist. I didn't know what "the spacer" was and when they shoved it in, I hated it and was concerned I'd vomit. When they took it out, I asked not to have "the spacer" again as I told the attendant their shots with adrenaline and the up and down motion of the chair made me nauseous. Meanwhile, the room next to me was playing rap music so loud it was obnoxious. While I was numb, during the procedure, the dentist said we're not the office for you and walked me out, then proceeded to ask for payment. This office is not on Delta Dental and is not a fit for someone who expects a gentle, caring experience.

But it’s not just her; the entire team goes above and beyond. From the receptionists and billing staff to the dental assistants, everyone treats you like a real person, not just a patient. Positive experience: My wife and I had a pleasant visit at Village Grove Dental Care. We came in for cleanings and the staff was friendly and helpful. The office is clean and feels quite comfortable. Process was fairly quick and the cleaning went fairly well. One of the issues I have was that the X-ray and Imaging technician was attempting to sell nightguard and appears to try to sell that to pretty much every patient but the Dentist didn't mention that at all which was a little weird. I think they don't quite have intercommunication all the way down. Another issue that is pretty common among all dental care centers is that they don't really reach out to insurance companies to see what and how much they cover for the procedures they recommend and we end up paying more than what was originally listed on their pricing sheet. I would strongly recommend to always ask them to check with the insurance company and find out exactly what and how much they will cover for such procedure before you get stuck with an unexpected bill. I know this is significant work but it would be helpful for your clients to know with certainty how much something will cost.

Negative experience: In my recent experience at this dental practice, I encountered several unprofessional individuals who failed to provide adequate service. Firstly, the receptionist appeared to be unaware of the necessity of scanning a driver’s license for the practice. Her lack of knowledge regarding legal requirements and potential misinformedness was evident. Secondly, the male dental assistant, whose specific role was unclear, conducted two x-rays and two photographs of my molar without demonstrating sufficient expertise. The dentist, upon overhearing my conversation with the receptionist regarding the activation of the “do not sell my information” clause on my chart, attempted to assert that the practice does not implement such a policy. She inquired about my last exam, dental issues, and areas of discomfort. Her behavior suggested a sense of favoritism and a desire to influence my treatment decision, particularly when she repeatedly asked if I would prefer to pursue treatment in India or the United States. This approach was perceived as discriminatory and prejudiced. Following her interaction, the dental professional presented me with a paper detailing the cost of a procedure that was inot available at the practice, as we were required to undergo a root canal. This information was not provided by the dentist, and the dental professional was unaware of the dentist’s suggestion. I specifically requested an email containing my x-rays and photographs, confirming the accuracy of my email address. Despite this request, the dental professional failed to send the necessary documents. In conclusion, I believe that the practice’s management and staff need to undergo comprehensive training in customer service, effective communication, and the avoidance of personal biases. The current environment, characterized by a loud television in the customer lounge and piped music, contributes to a chaotic and irritating atmosphere for patients.

Fantastic experience: I got my tooth worked on and everyone explained what was going on and best treatment for me. I enjoy coming for any kind of work needs to do weather its cleaning or simple things. Everyone is very nice and sweet.

Positive experience: I went to get tooth cleaning, but they found multiple cavities and refereed to the dental prosthodontist for more comprehensive study. Did not explain why the tooth cleaning was not done. It was disappointed.

Negative experience: I am so upset. I called this place because my insurance company told me I am covered through them and the lady on phone told me no, then she said well I have to check and get back to you. She never got back to me and another person again said no I don’t think we take that insurance? why would my insurance company have you listed under their website under covered? Please get people that know what they are doing!! For this reason alone I will not be using your company for my treatment. Not helpful didn’t call me back and very rude. You guys need to really think value hiring people that actually know what they are doing I saw other reviews that mentioned same thing about insurance issues! Unless you guys are scamming people on purpose this is not OKAY! Do better you won’t be getting my business

Fantastic experience: Scheduled me within 2 days to restore a filing as a result of a root canal whereas the regular appointment wait was 4 weeks. Dr. Gomez was very thorough and professional, taking just a few minutes to complete the tooth filing.

I don't feel like a patient or customer at this juncture of our relationship even though their focused attention to service and level of professionalism have been demonstrated with each visit over the past couple of years. From the greetings I've received once entering the door and with each subsequent encounter I've had with staff members, I've been welcomed and treated as a family member. The staff was engaging, yet not intrusive, and displayed a genuine concern about my overall oral health and well being. I'm glad that I was referred to this practice and can't envision going elsewhere, unless Dr. Dawson recommends it.

Fantastic experience: We’ve moved in Buckeye from Carmel, IN nearly 3 years ago. It has been quite a challenge finding new doctors, specifically a dentist. I’ve had horrible and traumatic experiences in the past. Thankfully we found Village Grove Dental. We’ve had positive experience so far, both staffs and doctor treated us with respect, kindness and greeted us with a smile. They are knowledgeable and seemed to care about their patients. I strongly recommend Village Grove Dental.

Negative experience: my wife had her first appointment there today and it was a pleasant process with the doctor and everything like that, but when it comes to the expertise of the insurance staff and checking to see if insurance is accepted there and what can and cannot be covered by it. they lack expertise and experience in that department and they just tell you one thing and then when the process is done, tell you another they don’t check before hand. No prior authorization is done would make sure this is done before you go because you could possibly be charged as you walk out the door like my wife was. I will be canceling my appointment with them.

Negative experience: During check-in we noticed that they were trying add in extra services. We were ONLY there to get our teeth cleaned. But they were trying to get additional X-rays which were not needed, Fluoride treatment not asked for and an examination that is only needed once a year.

I've been on MS medication for nearly 20 years and have had gum issues in the past due to medication side effects. That is no longer an issue, my gums are perfectly healthy now. Negative experience: I decided to give them a second chance after my last visit when the power went out and I had to be rescheduled months after the fact. I tried calling today to set up an appointment and Fern explained to me that I wouldn’t be able to make an appointment if I didn’t agree to get a new set of x rays. I mentioned that I had newer x rays completed at a dental office less than 1 year ago and could request them so they could have them on file. She then stated they will still need new ones and then I brought up ALARA. I am not symptomatic and am only coming into the dental office for a routine exam and cleaning. She said the doctor will not be able to diagnose unless they take new x rays during my visit. Diagnose what??? I can’t tell you the last time I had a cavity. I’m a former dental assistant and take good care of my teeth. I have attached the ADA guidelines that state a DENTIST should prescribe x rays based on the patients health history and vulnerability to oral disease. So clearly, ALARA is not practiced in this office, meaning you may be getting unnecessary radiation exposure and/or they are trying to squeeze out as much money as possible from their patients. I really liked the dentist and the hygienist from my first visit but I will not be returning. I wish I would’ve read more reviews before calling today.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible. The hygienist refused to clean my teeth after she said I had periodontal disease. She said it in a smug, condescending holier than thou tone of voice. She is NOT qualified to deliver that kind of diagnosis. I will never return. Booking an appointment takes several months. I’d give this place less than a zero if I could.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient of Dr. Vanessa Dawson. She is the best! She came highly recommended and I am so happy with my new dentist. Her staff are very professional and friendly, my hygienist Maggie is the best i have ever had. All the receptionists are wonderful, no waiting to speak of, everything runs extremely smoothly.

Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Dawson. She is an amazing dentist. She takes her time and really gets to know you. Every time we go in for a cleaning, she makes us feel like she remembers us and knows us. It’s nice to have a dentist we trust. This last visit we had a new hygienist who was also new to the office. She did well at the cleaning. She forgot to give us tooth brushes and tooth paste etc. She was a bit rough on my sensitive areas even though I wanted her where the sensitive spots were. My husband said she did a good job on his cleaning.

Fantastic experience: Village Grove Dental Care is the picture of state of the art! I loved all the cool gadgets and ways that they got a good picture of my teeth and oral health. I really loved how kind and caring the entire staff was. The professionalism was above and beyond. This is by far the best dental office I've ever been to. I also appreciate the care given and I did not feel like I was given recommendations on procedures I didn't need done. My teeth were good and there was no pressure to add extra services I didn't need. From start to finish I was extremely impressed and will highly recommend this practice.

I hated dentists and the idea of someone being inside my mouth. Village Grove has completely changed that mindset. I adhere to a 6 month schedule and I actively look forward to it. Positive experience: A bit unorganized. New girl that took me back very nice but took too long to find a BP cuff and figure out where things were. The appointment for a cleaning and exam just way too long. I also felt the place was just not clean. It used to be spotless in there. I dropped something on the floor and the floors looked very dirty. Staff extremely nice!
