Fantastic experience: My children have been patients since toddlers and now they’re adults. The staff is always courteous and friendly. Appointments are easy to make or reschedule if needed. The wait time has never been over 10mins in all the years we’ve been coming to this location. My youngest has just turned 18 and has POTs (dysautonomia), vasovagal syncope, anxiety and hypoglycemic episodes. The staff has always been so sweet and calming and reassuring to her. Which helps because if she gets anxious it can cause a domino effect with her heart rate followed by a sudden drop in her glucose followed by fainting. I don’t think she will ever change dentist offices because she feels they know her. I always recommend this office to others.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Riccobene dentists since moving to NC. Everyone was so pleasant and made me feel at ease, so professional too. My cleaning was pain free. The young woman that did my x-rays was very patient with me. I am glad I chose Riccobene!

Fantastic experience: I had an issue with billing that the office manager called me to discuss and was very apologetic and said I should've been notified that I'd be charged which I wasn't. She is refunding my money which was a Godsend since I am on a fixed income and had no idea I world be charged for my cleaning.

Positive experience: I’ve been going to Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry for about for a few years now, and there’s a consistent problem that keeps reoccurring. Every single time I call to get an estimate or price for a procedure, the front office staff confidently provides a number — and every single time the actual cost ends up being two to three times higher than what they told me. This raises real concerns. Either the staff is not properly trained, or this practice is engaging in predatory pricing behavior. Either way, it has cost me a lot of money unexpectedly. I strongly encourage anyone considering this office to seek second opinions and compare estimates elsewhere before committing.

Fantastic experience: I have had extreme dental anxiety for about 12 years. Over the past couple of years, I’ve been referred to many dental offices and surgical centers. Today, Dr. Saleh and Harley did my fillings, and it was by FAR the best experience I have EVER had. Fantastic experience: I’m a new patient to this office, recommended by a friend. I was lucky to get in quickly. They worked me in and worked with my schedule. I waited 3 mins and was greeted by Ashley she reassured me that I was in good hands. I’m horrified of the dentist . But she quickly calmed me down from jumping off the ledge. Lol she walked me through the steps and the dentist came in did his job and I survived.The doctor was really good and had a great beside manner. The first time in 54 years I didn’t have a panic attack. I chipped both of my front teeth over the holidays thank you for making my experience at the dentist something to smile about!! Fantastic experience: This gorgeous young lady had to have a root canal, they graciously let me sit in the back with her. They gave her some of the most amazing nitrous oxide ever. She came through like a champ, and had the best assistant ever. We can only hope that every dentist office can aspire to be Like this one. Great job guys.

Negative experience: Billing errors and lack of clarity regarding costs. I paid the agreed-upon price but was still fighting over new charges . With two insurances, I still have to pay $118 for one filling only.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Riccobene (McGee's) has been awesome. I'm usually an apprehensive dental patient and require sedation, but Dr Boctor is really a "Gentle" dentist, and I made it through two separate procedures with only numbing! Sandra is great as well! I love her pink themed room also. It's gives a Zen vibe, that's really calming. I highly recommend Riccobene Associates for your next "gentle""dentist appointment!

Positive experience: As usually occurs, I had a lovely, caring, knowledgeable hygienist do my cleaning. It was as much of a pleasure as a cleaning can be!

Negative experience: Beware of Riccobene. They apparently bring in random dentists not affiliated with their company when they are short staffed. If you have insurance and are expecting for your visit to be paid, you better make sure that you are seeing a dentist that is in your network. My daughter (under 18) normally covered by my insurance was seen by a random fill in Dentist who was not an in-network provider of BCBS. After numerous phone conversations with Shelby and my insurance company, we finally discovered this dishonest practice by Riccobene. So instead of cancelling or rescheduling my daughter with an in-network provider, and not informing us of this situation at the time of her appointment, she was seen by an out of network provider which is not covered by insurance. I now have to pay a $320.00 bill because of the Benson Offices' incompetence. Me and my family have been going to the Benson office for the last 6 years and am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled . I have since moved all my family to a newly owned family dental practice in Dunn. I would suggest you do some more googling.

Fantastic experience: They were great with me. I got there early and I was taken in on time. Such a great working staff to keep patient with there time of appointment.

Positive experience: The customer service here was outstanding. Office staff, hygienist, and assistant were friendly and kind. I saw the dentist for probably less than a minute but he was friendly. However, this was probably the most painful cleaning I've had in a long time. I have fairly good teeth but I left with red marks on many of my gums, which has never happened before, and bled a lot during the scraping. So. while I really liked the staff, I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Great visit like it’s always been over past seven years. Great Staff that are Professional and super nice. Candace, my Hygienist, was thorough in the cleaning and polishing of my teeth. They called me and my wife back within 7 minutes of arrival. Whole process was done in 45 minutes. Fantastic experience: Great bunch from the desk to Kelly my dental hygienist. Great job and a great cleaning very gentle but did a good job. I’ve gone to some dentist in the past and the hygienist are like grinding on your teeth forever can be very uncomfortable. my teeth just as clean as the one grinding on my teeth forever. The doctors exam was very thorough and they have some great plans to save money. Appointment was on time great bunch. Very clean and everyone was very friendly.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been bringing our 5 year old daughter here for almost 2 years. Every experience has been absolutely incredible. We had an appointment today and the receptionist was chatting with my daughter like they’ve been friends forever, she loved it! Our hygienist was gentle, explained everything she was doing, and was so friendly. My little had x-rays today and the x-ray tech explained every single step to her. The dentist came in and was friendly, quick, and efficient. I highly recommend them!

Negative experience: They dismissed me from the practice after starting an extensive health plan to get dentures. I missed 2 appointments out of over 10 in a year (one due to having covid). It’s ok for them to call and cancel your appointment the day of but be careful of remembering your appointments. Dr. Dawson and Alah are my favorites! Love this office. They are very compassionate, professional, and strive to make you comfortable.

Negative experience: I literally felt like I was robbed having work done here. Mistakes were made on their behalf, but of course there was no accountability on their part and I had to pay for it. A horrible experience. Never again will I go here. Update: The “permanent” crown that they put on came off today. It’s been less then a year. Of course they will only fix it after billing me and the insurance for a couple of things. This company is deplorable…

I leave there knowing my teeth have been cleaned thoroughly, my questions are answered or taken care of if necessary. They are always using the best equipment available or techniques to ensure they are delivering the best service possible to their clients.

Negative experience: Update:8/09/2024. Monies have been refunded to me but they lost a customer. Trust is gone. 8/01/2024. Have found another dentist. They checked my balances before my appt. Update:Make sure you check your insurance balances, they claim to not know your balance. Every dentist or medical office I been to have always check before they perform any procedure on you. If you need an appeal u have to stay on them. What a nightmare for the working class. They wanted me to call to discuss my situation. They took no responsibility. We trust our medical office to give us GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE. Shame on them. This was an 200.00 mistake I should have had a chance to reschedule until next year. My experience with them has not been great.I have never experience this with any other dentist in over 30 years. Last year I was quoted a price, but after the service it was a different price. They told me not to worry about the balance, so I paid the price quoted to me. Six months later they perform a service, that the insurance deemed not enough evidence to support service, so they appeal the decision with the insurance company. Insurance company ends up paying. The dentist office decided to add balance from last year in, after that they told me not to worry about payment. The Issue I have, if I had a balance from last year, why I didn’t receive one notice from them. Didn’t show a balance when I paid for existing work. I had to stay on them to get appeal from insurance company. I cancel future appt. , paid all money due. They didn’t care if they lost a customer, I think I wasn’t important enough to them. Lesson learn, keep track of insurance limits. Don’t trust them, end of day they will get the their money.Will not refer anybody to this practice. Office Manager took no responsibility .

Fantastic experience: Wonderful dentistry practice. I've consistently gone to the dentist for years and I've never been consistent with flossing. My dental hygienist spent time educating me about my teeth and explaining why flossing was important and why regular brushing didn't cut it. I've started flossing twice a day and my gums don't bleed anymore, they aren't sore and I can most definitely tell a difference. The dentist herself was also really nice and did a more thorough exam than I've had in years. I really appreciated the high quality care. Stand was super friendly. I'll definitely be coming back!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend them enough. I'm always nervous about going to the dentist but this is the best place I've gone. Great pediatric care too, my son loves it. I've had two cleanings with two hygienists and both times they were so patient and gentle! I was so nervous when I had a different hygienist on my second visit but I shouldn't have been worried at all! They have the latest tools too which makes cleaning faster and easier, but it's the hands that guide the tools that make all the difference. You all are an asset to your office and your profession. Fantastic experience: I showed up for appointment a day early☹️. And the receptionist managed to work me in two hours later. So I went grocery shopping and that took up my extra time. The PA who cleaned my teeth was gentle and thorough. She and the dentist gave me helpful advice and I Thank them.
