Fantastic experience: I had an old filling drilled out painlessly by Dr. Jim Clayton on Feb 1, 2017. The assistant, Reva, was very upbeat and competent in her job making the temporary crown. A very positive experience for this admitted "chicken" at the dentist office. In Aug 2022 I had my teeth cleaned ( 2x/year).The hygienist, Christina, was very thorough in cleaning my teeth but just as importantly, she loves to educate about how to keep our teeth and gums healthy. I learn new info from her at every cleaning. I've been a patient of Dr. Jim Clayton's for 30 years and have always been impressed with the professionalism of the dentists and all the staff.

Fantastic experience: I continue to be impressed with this practice, which I have now been going to for several years. Tracey is the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had. When I first started with her, she explained how to improve my own daily dental hygiene routine, which has greatly reduced the amount of plaque buildup I develop between cleanings. This has also improved my breath. No hygienist had ever taken the time to explain this before. And Dr. Edwards is an outstanding dentist. She’s always very thorough, knowledgeable, and kind.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at the office was extremely professional and welcoming. Dr. Edwards was her usual wonderful and friendly self and took great care during my cavity filling. I always heart fully recommend this office for any dental.

Fantastic experience: I had a first appointment with Northampton Dental Specialist Group; full mouth x-rays and a comprehensive oral evaluation with Dr V Arora. He is up to date on current technology, and enthusiastic to discuss an upcoming procedure (a crown) with me. He didn’t waste time trying to up-sell me on issues which I said weren’t important to me. The 3 other support staff I interacted with in the office were efficient, personable, and concerned about my experience. All a welcome relief from the local practice I’d been using for 40 years.

Positive experience: Polite, professional, friendly, great experience! My hygienist is awesome, and the front desk is super friendly. Highly recommended. Only thing is, had a crown done, one broke within two days. I went back to have it replaced and it completely fell off a few months later:( They were temporary, so it's not uncommon, just was a little annoying. However, the office was great about addressing it! A little stressful experience getting the permanent crown, but people were apologetic about it and meant well.

Positive experience: Hygienist Linny is great and I've always had a good experience at NDSG. The only reason for my giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because scheduling is so difficult. I needed another appointment in 4 months but they had absolutely no availability until 7 months out. Because waiting that long will affect another appointment with a periodontist, I have to hope that someone cancels and I can get their slot.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment today for a cleaning with Tracy. She was awesome! She explained everything, answered my endless questions with patience and most important was gentle. With extremely sensitive teeth, cleanings can often be painful - not so today. Dr. Wall checked my teeth and I found him to be the same, patiently explaining what he saw. This is my first time with both and I’m looking forward to them being my regular hygienist and doctor. Going to the dentist is never fun both they both made the experience easy to deal with Update: I had another appointment with Tracy for a cleaning. I appreciate her calm gentle manner which helps to put me at ease

Fantastic experience: Excellent practice, very well run front desk. Dr. Aurora and his assistant Steven worked efficiently with excellent communication. Having a tooth extraction is never simple but they worked very well throughout the process. Dr. Aurora is technically adapt but also a great communicator. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr Edwards did a very good job with my crown. She took great care to see to it that I was comfortable throughout the entire process. She also took the time to insure a good fit for the crown. Very pleased.

Fantastic experience: The office is clean and welcoming. From the receptionist to the hygienists to the dentists, everyone treats me with warmth and respect. I'm shown my x-rays. If work needs to be done, it is thoroughly explained. I'm very happy with this dental practice!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to the NDSG for dental care since I moved to the area in 2022. My experiences have all been thorough, attentive, and careful. I have gotten fillings, an implant, and a root canal (I came knowing that I needed an implant after a prior extraction), in addition to routine cleaning. For each of these I've been given good explanations and documentation. Each of the doctors I've worked with has been respectful and gentle. I'm happy to recommend this practice without reservation.

Fantastic experience: It has been nearly two years since I transferred from another local dental group to NDSG, and every time I go in for a visit I feel that my decision to switch was wise and beneficial. My dentist is Dr. Edwards and my hygienist is Linny and both are simply excellent at their respective professions--and at communication. At NDSG I feel that my wishes are sought and respected, and the result is a satisfying experience. Nobody likes going to the dentist, but at least all NDSG staffers are competent and pleasant, and they also have a sense of humor, and this makes every visit worthwhile.

Positive experience: I have had a few providers cycle through causing some disruption but today was amazingly efficient on a last minute emergency they got me in same day and out in under 30. Love quality provided efficiently. Today would be 5 stars, 4 is overall

Fantastic experience: Best cleaning and dental specialists in the area! Going to the Dentist is not usually regarded as fun, but it’s a good experience here. My hygienist is really gentle, and efficient. Cleanings are refreshing, and never leave my gums sore. Appointments are easier here, than I’ve ever had anywhere else. Dr Edwards is kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable with a healthy dash of humor. When I have had fillings and crowns done, they have been exceptional. I love it here!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Edwards filled several cavities for me today and it was along procedure but she was very attentive to my level of discomfort which she minimized as best she could. She is very focused on what she is doing, but also takes time to explain things that are happening or that she is seeing. Her cheerful and friendly demeanor help me to relax throughout the procedure. My only complaint was the background music...I would have preferred some Bach or Vivaldi...

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at NDSG for 15+ years. There is a reason for my loyalty--the dentists and hygienists are top-notch and the office staff are warm, helpful, and responsive. For the last several years, I have only needed dental cleanings. Each one of the 3 I have worked with have been excellent. Linny was my most recent hygienist and is a stand-out. "Looking forward" to dental appts is a stretch, but I always know I'm in good hands at NDSG. Can't recommend them more highly!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Northampton Dental. Everyone was friendly and professional. I wear a mask when I go anywhere and easily asked the dental assistant to wear a mask and she did. She explained everything she was doing. The Dentist was also wearing a mask and spoke to me about her findings and laid out a plan to address my dental issues. I later met with a coordinator to discuss my financial obligations. Overall an excellent visit. On third visit I had 1 broken tooth and the remains of a second tooth root removed. Both the tooth and the root were removed without any pain or discomfort. After the novacaine wore off there was no pain Andy denture went over the area with no issues. It was quick and much easier than what I anticipated. So glad I found Northampton Dental.

So grateful for them and the care and work they do. Today I met a new hygienist, Beth, who was AWESOME!!! She was thorough, considerate, meticulous, and very informative. What a great experience! I truly cannot recommend this practice enough. Thank you!!! For my very first visit here, I must say that I was very impressed. Timely, personable, down to earth, knowledgeable, informative & sensitive to the needs of the patient. I left feeling very happy that I did my research and found this dental practice & Dr. Edwards. Everything about my teeth was clearly explained using excellent analogies that were understandable. Considering past experiences with the dentist where I became so fearful of going, the dentist and hygienists here made sure they were sensitive and prepared for future visits by making decisions and notes in my chart that would ensure success for my next appointment. My fear of going to the dentist will no longer be a concern. I am so happy!!! I will recommend this practice to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: My kids and j have been going here for years. While most of the dentists we used to see have retired, it is still a good experience. The front end folks and thier hygienist are always helping and very pleasant.

Fantastic experience: I'm very happy with NDSG. I'm going on my third year with them. The staff is warm and friendly and my dental hygienist, Greysh is just the right mix of warm and personable while being professional, delicate and thorough. I have very sensitive teeth and gums so I make for a jumpy patient. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: As usual, the team at NDSG is great. My cleaning and X-rays were painless and fun; as was the conversation during the appointment. Linny told me I have to brush more than once a week, but I don’t think that’s accurate. Haha, jk.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service. I was very sorry to see Dr. Clayton leave the practice as he is the most caring and excellent dentist I have ever had. However, I went in for a cleaning and Cassie is the best dental assistant ever, she is professional, knowledgeable and gentle with her cleaning. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Edward’s who Dr Clayton trained and she is excellent, thorough and definitely shows the competence that Dr Clayton has.

Positive experience: The appointment was for a cleaning. It went well and I was pleased with the everything except - the long wait for the doctor to come in. I have a condition (peripheral neuropathy) that can fatigue me. I was fine during the cleaning, but the fatigue hit me during the wait. This made the rest of it not so pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Compassionate with excellent customer service. I had an urgent dental need not only at a bad time for me but also a really inconvenient time for their office. Yet they came through for me. I will forever be grateful.

Fantastic experience: These guys are so professional, organized, and punctual. I walked in for a 3 PM appointment at three, and walked out again at 4 PM. That is awesome! Excellent service, the staff are all very kind and skilled, and I feel very well cared for AND informed every time I come. They always answer all my questions. No hidden fees or surprise bills. And my teeth are very healthy and happy.

Fantastic experience: I needed emergency dental care and Dr. Clayton saw me that same afternoon. It turned out to be a major undertaking, and he completed the work that day. They were all incredibly patient, generous and excellent at their jobs. I can't recommend this practice highly enough. ** Now that I've been seeing them a while, I underscore the message above. Very professional, wonderful hygienists, and very clear and helpful about payment. Five stars. Have now seen three dentists, and all are equally excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, painless.

Fantastic experience: This was My second visit and both times with Chelsea. I lucked out getting her as my hygienist. She is amazing. friendly and personable. Dr. Edwards is the best. Both she and Chelsea are so upbeat and make you feel so good. Great decision on my part to switch to this office.
