Positive experience: Great, only that the reason for me going in was to get a referral to have my tooth pulled by an oral surgeon. Which cost me over a hundred dollars to see me, but they never had the oral surgeon call me. When they said they sent the information to the surgeon. Still waiting on call back.

Fantastic experience: What an office. Everyone is so friendly and comforting. The office is clean and am very happy with service from front of the office to the back treatment area. I signed up to start the Invisalign treatment first part of November and feel confident I will be taken well care of. The streets of St. Charles has a periodic Invisalign open house, and I highly recommend if you or a family member has been thinking about getting them, go hear about it. Give yourself an even more beautiful smile than you already have!

Fantastic experience: The Streets of St Charles have always taken good care of me! I have been going there since Dec of 2024. I am on Medicare and Medicare Advantage plan I would say 95% close to 100% of my dental bill has been covered. I have only had to pay one time in the beginning. I hadn't been to the dentist in many years and yet I never felt judged. They were caring and made sure I was comfortable. I like the way they take the time to explain everything to me and answer my questions. I have never had to wait in the waiting room more than 5 mins. They have an efficient staff who are quick to check my insurance plan to make sure my procedures are covered that same day. I received text message reminders for every appointment so I don't have to worry about forgetting it. My dental hygienist talks with me during my procedures which makes me feel relaxed. There is a TV right in front of you if you need distraction. She works with expertise and efficiency providing the best care for me. Highly recommend! Thank you Streets of St Charles!

Fantastic experience: I was super nervous about getting a tooth pulled.I haven't had the best dental experiences. Both the dentist and her assistant Amani mad sure I was comfortable and gentle. My tooth was out in less than five minutes. No pain during or after the procedure. I am one happy and satisfied patient.

Fantastic experience: Today I finally had my "problem" tooth pulled at Streets of St Charles Dental. I didn't want to lose a tooth (and Dr G advised against it) but the alternative was just too costly and since I would have to go elsewhere for the root canal and I already had one bad experience with an endodontist, I decided the tooth had to go. The first tooth I've lost since having my wisdom teeth extracted (and that was under sedation), so I didn't know what to expect, but God love her, Dr G made it quick and painless. She talks to you thru the procedure so you know what's going on at all times. I won't go to any dentist but her. Hopefully the post-op will go as smoothly as the extraction.

Positive experience: Haven't even had my first appointment here yet, called to confirm my appointment and NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE.. how is there not a single person in the office to answer the phone??

Negative experience: This office has the worst communication of any business ever! They tell you anything to get your business then when you question what they tell you, their answer is that was a former employee so we can’t help you. I have also had two different appointments that I drove 30 min to after leaving work early to find the office closed and no one contacted me. They also over billed my husband when the insurance paid for the service. I called the office a month later to question the bill and again, the answer was that was a former employee that over charged us by 300+ dollars. Then said it’ll take 30 days to refund us! I also received a call that my retainer was in when I told them I had moved out of state. I was told to stay by my phone as they would call me within ten minutes. A week has passed and no call. When I questioned the Dr on all Of this, she (Dr G told me I was being unfair by bringing this to her attention! Save your time and find an honest ortho/ dentist!

Negative experience: The dental work may be fine, but their crowns are subpar. Had one done in 2022 that's failing. I called to see about the warranty process to realize that they only warranty them for a year, which is a stark difference from every other dentist in the area that does 5, leaving me with the responsibility to cover 100% of it. I'd get cleanings done here but nothing else.

Negative experience: I am so over Streets of St. Charles dentistry. First, you never get the same dentist, but the doctors seemed okay. Sheryl the hygienist was AMAZING - I am going to miss her- hate I wasn't able to let her know I will never be back. It's the receptionist desk and who I assume is the office manager. She is complete trash. First, my 6month appt HAD to moved the day before my appt to 3 months out- per the office. Today I arrived for my appt. To be turned away. The office manager says, "we been trying to contact you". I am confused as my number has not changed. I asked, "how have you been trying to contact m?". She said "we sent a text message", but in the same breath, she says "oh you opted out a text messages. And our phones were down yesterday to let you know we needed your insurance card." I said well can I send it tonight or when I get home? Her, "Oh no, we need your Insurance right now." So I drove from Clayton all the way to the streets of Saint Charles to not get an appointment where I'm already three months out past my six months. Mind you my appt was at 4pm today and nobody attempted to call me today when the phones were working. I have had other issues with the front desk today was the last straw. If you can stomach the reception desk/rude office manager, the doctors are OK but since the reception desk makes your life a living hell you will never learn how well the doctors are. Moving on.

Negative experience: Hate the idea they know the full coverage of your Insurance.To me they use it all to there advantage and use it all and still have to come out of pocket.Make sure u shop around for different prices in service for dental work Not so happy prices to the roof then tell me at time o u have a credit why because I got over charged.

Negative experience: This place is nothing more than a nightmare. My son went in for a checkup at cleaning, brand new patient. Not being used to insurance yet, as he is a young man, they talked him into this $1000+ dental plan and did part of the plan that day. That day cost him $315 and his insurance paid another 300! He did not need what they started! I am livid. We are paying this balance and never going back! Buyer beware!! They should be ashamed of themselves.

Negative experience: My initial visit a little over a year ago was fine until they canceled my appointment to fill my cavity. Then today, I called and informed them that I had a dental emergency and needed to get in asap and they tried to schedule me for 3 weeks out. I have a cyst that formed over an erupted wisdom tooth for context. I needed to go in for at least an assessment and referral to an oral surgeon. This is an issue that any dentist could tell you shouldn’t go untreated as it could damage my surrounding teeth and tissue and I’ve already been in pain. They ignored this and tried to schedule it like a regular case. I decided to take my business elsewhere. Staff definitely needs a little more compassion.

Negative experience: The dentists are barely passable, and in my opinion their business practices are reprehensible. When I went to have a crown put in, the crown broke within a week of installation 5 times before they finally fixed it. This office also uses an automated system to send out bills, often before any sort of claim has been sent to the insurance company. It seems like they’re trying to double dip and get people to pay extra while still getting paid by the insurance company. They likely owe a staggering amount of money to their patients. I would caution anyone from using this office. While their dentists might be passable, in my opinion their business practices are reprehensible.

Positive experience: I’m not sure what has happened, but at my daughter’s appointment and my recent appointment. The staff seems so lost and disconnected. I checked in my daughter and was told they didn’t see her on the list. I received 5 text messages confirming our appointment and physically called to confirm. The other front desk staff said oh I see her and there was no further correspondence with me so I had to ask are we all set? Wait times are longer and nobody seems to know what’s going on except the dentists and a few hygienists that have been there for a while. Not sure what has happened in the last 6 months but it’s a completely different experience from what it use to be and not for the better. I rarely ever comment on things like this our last two experiences have been less than positive and really bizarre.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful team, safe and comfortable environment, informative and patient. Crystal was amazing at answering all of my questions, making sure I understood my insurance benefits throughly and checked in with me multiple times if anything changed! Samara is wonderful! She made me feel safe, heard, and taken care of through my whole process, and made sure I felt comfortable! (Also a wonderful person to chat with!) Dr. Giacomini is the best dentist I’ve ever had and I will continue to follow her as long as I can! She was informative, kind, and made my appointments breezy. And of course, Elisa is wonderful to see at the start of every appointment. I had just moved to the area and have always been nervous about dental work, but all of these women made my experience easy and actually, enjoyable. I heavily recommend Streets of St. Charles dental! These women know what they’re doing and truly want to help and do what is best for each individual. You will be happy you chose this dental practice! Negative experience: Our experience with Streets of St. Charles Dental has been nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable. For over a year, we've been receiving bills for random balances that we don’t owe, and the office has consistently failed to provide any clarity. Last year, after their own audit, they discovered that they actually owed us money! Despite this, the random bills kept coming. Every time we called, we were told to ignore them because their system was “taking time to update.” This week, we reached out again to try and resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the office manager (whose name I don’t get) was dismissive and extremely rude. She flipped the script on us, and claimed that our insurance had terminated prior to an August appointment, which was completely incorrect. We had insurance coverage through the end of the year specifically to finish our dental work. When my husband pointed this out, she refused to listen, talked over him, and insisted we owed money, brushing off our concerns in a very unprofessional manner. At this point, my husband understandably got upset. He requested that all billing information be emailed to us so we could track down these mysterious charges ourselves, and promptly canceled all future appointments as we would never be returning. The office manager still refuses to send us any of the requested billing information. After hours on the phone with our previous insurance provider, we were able to listen in on a call between the insurance company and the dental office. It turns out the entire issue stemmed from their office incorrectly submitting something to insurance. The office manager was caught in her lie to us about us allegedly not having coverage, and it was obvious she was fabricating reasons to cover up their mistake and demand payment we did not owe. Our experience proved they will bill you instead of fixing their errors in submitting things to insurance, which is absolutely unacceptable. Between the endless billing errors, lack of accountability, and the rude, unprofessional behavior of their office, I would strongly caution anyone considering this office.

Negative experience: I should have sued for malpractice. I was told i had to remove all of my fillings to white to get a new partial. I used a lot of vacation time to remove all and it made my teeth weeker. Once they left the numbing in my mouth and walked away.i thougjt that i would die because i could not swallow. She was fine but I had started with a plan to fix a couple of teeth and the new doctor wants a different plan not happy! And if I go with my doctors plan I have to have another visit with her to decide. Why didn’t the give me the correct doctor! Not sure if Iam coming back!

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They broke my permanent retainer when doing a cleaning. Then, when I asked them to pay for a new one they would only offer for them to do it not my orthodontist. That was fine until they ghosted me. Had multiple phone calls with them and I waited for a call back to discuss when they could do it and then I never heard back. Their office manager is extremely bull headed and does not work with you at all. $250 of my own money later and my orthodontist gave me a new one. One of my teeth also moved in the process so safe to say I will never be coming back and I will tell everyone I know how horrible they are.

I have horrible anxiety surrounding dentist and everyone in that office was amazing and extremely helpful in easing that. Fantastic experience: First time at the office, I was very impressed. I have been going to another dentist since 2004 and well I guess the other place was not up to date. They not only did they measure my gums on the outside but in the INSIDE!! That was a first!! They took more X-rays and always checked my insurance to see what would be covered. Top notch all the way!!

Negative experience: This dental office charged me $120.00 for something with no line item or code. I was told they'd send me to collections if I didn't pay it. They also told me I had three cavities, but when I went to a second dentist I was told I have NO cavities. . . I still don't have any cavities. Kind of a rip-off!

Negative experience: My husband and I have been going there for a while, we liked the Dentist and Izzy. I called to let the office know my husband would be approximately 10 mins late for his appt. Neither of us have ever been late, cancelled last minute, or no showed. Being a responsible client I called to let the office know. I was informed too many people were coming in late so if you are 5 mins late your appt will be cancelled and need to be rescheduled. Many hoops were jumped through on my husbands part to get to his appt on time. Unfortunately, this was not enough and he was going to be up to 10 minutes late. You can sit in the waiting room for 10 mins without communication from the office that they are running late, but if you are 5 mins late your appt is cancelled. Our time is just as valuable, so Keep that in mind when you are choosing this provider. We will be going else where.

Fantastic experience: Had a root canal and crown taken care of along with some other work. Due to genetics, I metabolize pain killers quickly. Going to the dentist has always been rough and I usually have to fight through the pain. But the team here is phenomenal! Dr. Mertz and Kendall are a great team - they managed to get the job done and were constantly checking to make sure I was doing alright, even though it took multiple injections to numb me up. When I tried to tough through the pain, the doc told me straight up that was not necessary and not going to happen. I love they really look out for their patients. Good people who sincerely care. Shauna, the hygenist responsible for getting my choppers all shiny has an excellent sense of humor and Shauna is so personable. Loved the conversation and just how homely Streets of St. Charles is! Megan the manager and everyone at the desk is professional, kind and polite. They truly delight in the service and hospitality that comes with reception. Coming in is like coming home! From a bachelor, that means something! The people here really enjoy being personable and delight in seeing smiles as much as sharing smiles! One heck of a good firm!

Fantastic experience: Megan was the front desk receptionist and I was very nervous being honest about the last time that I went to the dentist which was a very very long time ago. She reassured me and just made me feel really comfortable and I felt no judgment. She also took the extra time to talk to me about payment options, and really just took the time to speak to me so I was less nervous. Shauna cleaned my teeth and did my x-rays and she is wonderful! So sweet and so funny made me feel right at home. Talk me through the whole procedure. Therefore I felt like I wasn’t nervous to ask a lot of questions. I’ve never felt this comfortable at a dentist office. I’m actually excited to go in next time and get my teeth cleaned! The prices are incredibly reasonable, and they were very upfront with me with everything! Overall, I feel like this is probably one of the best dentist office in the St. Louis area.

Positive experience: I haven't had a dental appointment in years. Not scared, just no insurance. My hygienist was the BEST! Sarah J. was not only sweet and compassionate, we had a blast. (Is that possible at the DDS? Yes!) The Dr. also listened to me, and there was no pressure on my treatment plan. Highly recommend this practice !! I also noticed a special for exam, xrays and cleaning for less than $100 for new patients which is great if you have no insurance! Only downside, kinda hard to get a person on phone and reminder texts to me were a little excessive but will recommend.

Positive experience: I was charged more then the price I was given. I was given the pay back in May and again several times on the phone. The lady who did my bill seems like she did not know what she was doing and had to redo it at least twice. Did not care for the assistant. She did not seem happy. Dr Sarah G is wonderful. I also had a coupon for 25.00 I do not see that on my receipt.

Fantastic experience: I have anxiety when it come to going to the dentist but the environment here was calming. Every procedure was explained to me prior to being done. They even take time to educate you on different procedures, which is rare. Alexis and Dr. Mertz really impressed me. Thanks Ladies!
