Fantastic experience: 5 stars all the way! Best dental office in El Paso! My children love it here. Every visit is amazing. The dental assistants are always great and a pleasure to talk to. The dentists here are beyond wonderful. They are so sweet and gentle with all my children. My kids are toddlers and I have one pre-teen. It is safe to say this is one of their favorite places to come. They don’t cry and they are never scared to come to the dentist. They ask me now if they are going to the dentist. Thank you to this wonderful and amazing team for my making dental visits fun for the kiddos also I can’t forget the front staff lol the are the real heroes without them the office wouldn’t run so smoothly. They make it easy for me any time I can’t make an appointment or I need to reschedule. They are always polite and helpful. It’s safe to say this dental office is mom approved

Fantastic experience: This place was recommended to me by a friend and I will spend this recommendation. I have a LV2 autistic son and he did so well. The staff were so patient and gentle with him and understood how to communicate with him throughout the whole visit. If there were more stars to give I’d be adding so much more. Highly recommend this place for your children. Very knowledgeable and informative every step of the way.

Fantastic experience: I love that they are open after school hours so kiddos don't miss out and they have early appointment before school for any procedures kids might need! My kids loved the free arcade and the movie theater! The movie is playing within the whole building so even if we are called they can continue watching the movie. The staff was amazing!! So sweet and kind!! The doctor is so direct and honest!! Answer every question and gives options!

Fantastic experience: They take great care of my children and they have best ice cream. Update: Aug 2025 I am down to 1 child the others are now adults. My child still loves coming here easy check in best dentist and staff is friendly the hygienist we got was awesome too. It’s a fast and easy process no hassle for me I like it because we are in and we are out in no time . Very happy here will continue to come until my child out grows this place

Fantastic experience: All 3 of my kids have been coming to Texas kids dental care located at joe battle for the past 10 years. Theyve been nothing but super attentive and caring with all 3 of my kids . My oldest will be 9 years old this year and has 0 cavaties she's been getting seen since she was 6 months old. As well as my other 2 also with 0 cavaties i feel as much as it plays a huge role at home it also comes with them getting daily checkups every few months. There office is always super clean. They always have super fun activites for the kids specially during holidays . My kids and I love going it's always a fun experience. All there stuff is always so nice as well as there doctors . I love my kids to be seen by Dr.Jennings his always so polite always introduces himself always asking us if we have any questions and sure indeed always answers them all his always super caring to all his patients. Once my kids see were around the block they already know where we are heading to they love going to the dentist which should always always be a loving fun experience for them as kids .Team NO CAVATIES

Fantastic experience: My kids have been going here for about 2yrs now. And we love it love the whole lobby set up and activities. I love the staff and how sweet and helpful they’re. Fantastic experience: Had a very good experience here my daughter was very nervous until we came in! They had a huge play area, movie theatre, arcade all the nerves went away! We did an exam, xrays and cleaning everything went very smoothly (no cavities) she got to pick a reward and got a soft serve ice cream Very smooth experience considering we didn’t have an appointment and just walked in, definitely coming here for all our future appointments thanks texas kids dental

Negative experience: I came here because I can't find a good dentist in El Paso that's actually good and caring that they have empathy towards my child came here because of the reviews thinking it was a good dentist for my kid turns out it just like everywhere else the first time I brought my child to this dental place the dentist was acting so nonchalant towards my concerns that basically he was just being dismissive for my child it seem like he didn't care at all they just gave me an appointment to put a crown on my child. The day of my child's appointment the dentist that saw my child kept saying what was the reason I wanted my child to have a white crown if it was because of cosmetics reasons I said no that it was because my child was in pain he kept asking my kid what tooth hurted acting like I'm lying and my child pointed at the one without the crown and he still thought we were lying saying that I wanted it on my child for cosmetic reasons which is crazy to assume I came here because my child has pain in his tooth not for "cosmetic reasons" like this man said the dentist name is Mr. Daniel Yoon he is Asian please please beware of this dentist he is extremely rude and to me it doesn't seem like he knows how to interact with kids or adults I don't understand why he's in this job. I'm immediately changing dentists I just wanted to write this review even though the dental office doesn't care but I did it just to help others be aware of dentist Yoon so people can be aware of staff like him I hope they get rid of him because reading the reviews it's not the first time someone complains about this rude man other than that the staff at the front and some staff at the back are really lovely and nice people shame dentists like Mr. Yoon ruin the place.

Negative experience: I’m livid. Waiting time is ridiculous. My 4 year old kid needed to fast for 8 hours for an appointment at 12. He hasn’t eaten since 10 pm. It’s currently 2:15 pm and still have not been called. Only update I get is if I go up to ask. My poor kid is going on 16+ hours with no food, 5+ hours with no liquids. These doctors need to be more considerate when scheduling. Haven’t even received an apology for the inconvenience.

Fantastic experience: five stars always! I have been taking my kids for four years now and the staff is always very nice. If theres a procedure to make they make they explain it .The dentist are patient with them. The place is always so clean too. As a mom of a 3yo and 4yo dentist can be scary and with them is always a fun experience!

Fantastic experience: My daughter loves coming here, the Drs answer her curious questions, like today she was wondering when she would need braces and the Dr explained to her when and if she may need them in the future. The staff is on it from the reception to the tech walking you out. I’ve been bringing my two daughters here for years and they always look forward to it because of the staff and Drs.

Fantastic experience: We love this place. My daughter adores going on the merry go round and the train. The personnel are so patient and kind as well. I have another baby on the way and I know they're gonna be coming here with their big sister to have just as much fun. The ice-cream and cookies are a big bonus too! 10

Negative experience: Took my child for a check up and was told they wanted to put some protective seal around the teeth. When the appointment was scheduled the DDS wanted to gas my child for no reason other than to charge the Medicaid. They take advantage of people who are on government assistance programs. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My husband and daughter are living it up. With everything you can do at this office. It's more than just a dentist. But let me tell you from the moment we walked in you were greeted and the staff is very helpful and welcoming. Dentists are great with kids.

Fantastic experience: My kids loved hanging out in the carousel, train, playground, and arcade before they were called up for their check up. The staff at Texas Kids Dental care is professional and kind. I took my two young children for a regular check up and they made sure their visit was easy and painless. They're so good they were able to get X-rays of my pre-schooler's teeth! That's skill lol.

The employees were all so nice especially this one gentleman who I felt gave us such an unforgettable experience! He got the carousel and train operating for all there to enjoy as well as the adults. Fantastic experience: my daughter got her wisdom teeth removed about a week ago and it was all a smooth process. The doctor was very nice and explained everything thoroughly. Very good Spanish speaker.

Fantastic experience: When I first saw this place I thought that the games and merry go round were overkill. That was before I had 6 kids. My son recently had a bad toothache (caused by trauma) and this children’s dentistry was the only one open on a Saturday that was willing to see him. After meeting a few of the Dentist and speaking with them I was confident that this was a great place to bring my children. They didn’t try to fabricate cavities that weren’t there like so many other places have tried to do. I have taken my kids to 3 other dentistry’s throughout the years, all of them trying to make us do treatments on supposed “cavities” (not true) that didn’t exist or they were on baby teeth that were already going to fall out. We try to take a holistic approach when it comes to these types of things and we believe this dentistry respected our approach on this matter. We recently brought all 6 kids to get their teeth cleaned and it was a breeze. I guess the games and playground weren’t so ridiculous after all. My kids loved it! I highly recommend this children’s dentistry! Thanks Tim Jennings and Texas Kids Dental.

Negative experience: Horrible costumer service, over 1hr waiting they called 2 patients that got there later than me! my 9mo had his appt at 7pm, I called to see if they had something earlier, they said they could see him at 5:30, I arrived at 5:10pm and was not called until 6:15pm, girls at the front desk have horrible attitudes.all to have the DR just to check my son in less then 1 minute.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this dentist office! I love the entertainment that they have for the kids while waiting. Once you go in the room, it’s a quick and easy experience. Staff is also very friendly, and patient! It’s definitely worth the drive!

Fantastic experience: 1st time at this location and I was surprised. This was a better experience than the horizon location( no hate). Staff just went above and beyond for me and my kid. I will be happy to see them again for next check up. Go early so that way you can enjoy the message chair and your kids to have some fun before seeing the dentist. My kid will not let anyone touch her teeth and they were able to do get the cleaning done with a breeze. Overall I was amazed and blown away. They also gave my kid a teddy bear as well. Ice cream and cookies after. They also gave us a first time goody bag/water bottle. I just want the staff to know that all your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. There’s a big smile behind the emoji, just hiding face for safety purposes.

Fantastic experience: Amazing how many things my baby can do. They are also so understanding and nice… my husband had called and made an appointment it was for the wrong location and they said they could still have us. It was so fast they were so helpful and they also give out ice cream and cookies to kids and adults… they also gave us some hats and a bottle I loved it. It was so cute.

Negative experience: Very slow and unorganized. Been here since 830 and the procedure calls for a drink that needs to be consumed then wait another 45 min before they can start. It is now 918 and still haven’t even been called for the drink. Half the staff has come in late. I doubt there clock in times are at 910. Never heard of it. About 6 different patients have been called in before us even though they arrived after us. Whether it’s different procedures or not the lack of attention or care for the patients is sad. After this, we will be looking to change Dentists. I strongly recommend looking into wait times. Unless you have all day to waste because of their lack of attention. The staff apparently just blames the doctors. So if that’s the case then expect this to happen to you guys as well.

I absolutely loved it and so did my daughter, they had games for all ages and even a small theater to watch movies. Fantastic experience: LOVE THIS PLACE!!! This is the ONLY DENTIST MY KIDS RUN TO!!! My two kiddos have always BEGGED to go to the dentist since we started coming to Tx Kids Dental! The entire staff is extremely from the front desk to the dentist himself. The rooms are accommodating to all children and the waiting rooms are so much fun, the kids don’t even realize they’re at the Dr office. At the end of it all, the kids always receive a sweet treat, toys, stickers, or something else special so the first and last memory they have of the dentist office is a positive one.

Fantastic experience: My son goes to this office for his primary dentist. He has a blast. They take care of him well and the staff is very kind! The waiting area is a fun playroom with his favorite part being the arcade and train ride!

Fantastic experience: Today I brought my son to West Texas Dental because his previous dentist would no longer see him since he has turned 18. Let me just say wow! The whole place is wonderful. They have a playground for the little kids and an arcade for the older ones. They have a mini movie theatre and they give you ice cream and cookies when you leave. Well that’s all great but let me tell you everyone is super nice! There was a man cleaning the waiting areas CONSTANTLY ! He even changed gloves every time he changed surfaces or went to a different area. The assistants were good with my son, the technician did a great job with the cleaning. The doctor came and offered his opinion on what he thought would be the best plan of action considering we will be having a procedure done soon. There is not a lot of waiting either. I’ll be changing my other kids to this dentist as well. Thank you West Texas Dental!

Fantastic experience: My son had his wisdom teeth extracted, and Dr Payne and Ms Sandra made an extremely great experience. He had no pain and hardly any bleed. Dr Payne did call and texted to check up on my son after the procedure was done. Ms Sandra was very nice and knowledgeable she explained how the procedure went and what the aftercare would be like. Overall, wonderful experience the staff in this office are always very welcoming and friendly from the moment you get there until the moment you leave. Definitely recommending to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: Today was my daughter's first dental appointment ever! She had a blast! She was looking forward to her appointment all week and Texas Dental did not disappoint. The staff was communicative, friendly, helpful and so patient. My little chatter box was completely amazed and can't wait to go back for her next appointment. Negative experience: My kids absolutely loved playing and the staff were great. We saw Dr. Yoon and he had absolutely terrible bedside manner. When asked if our 2 yr old used a pacifier, bottle or sucked his fingers, I made him aware he did "suck" his two fingers only at night to fall asleep (no other time during the day) & he had the audacity to tell us that if we didn't make him stop by the time he was 3 that he would be sending us to a specialist that would make him stop. Yet, when we asked for professional advice on affective ways to do this, he answered back with "You go on google. Type in 'How to get my child to stop sucking their fingers'. Get a pen and paper, write down what they say and go down the list and see what works". Overall, he didn't acknowledge my kids at all, was rude to his dental assistant, he was very arrogant with his remarks & he did a great job at making us feel like terrible parents.Needless to say, we will not be taking our kids back.

Fantastic experience: Alexis helped us our whole visit this time she was extremely helpful and kind. It’s always nice to go here my kid gets really excited and the Assistants and Doctors are always really kind and friendly. I don’t recall liking the dentist when I was a child so it’s nice that my kid gets to experience enjoying and liking the dentist

My youngest one is always scared of doctors, but to tell you that he came out smiling and enjoyed his dental appointment meant the world to me. They took care of us. The doctor answered all my questions to the concerns, I had in regards to my daughters dental needs. I have the outmost respect towards this location and staff. They deserve a 5/5 if not even higher. Im so glad i came here the staff was nice as well as the facility. The doctor was patient and answered all my questions and concerns. Fantastic experience: I would the best dental facility for kids hands down. An attraction spot for kids and makes kids want to go to the dentist instead of fear it. All staff members are very professional and knowledgeable. They have all the arcade games from our childhood (80s-90s) that our kids can experience and play for free. At the end when your child has a good visit n no cavities, they can get treated with an ice cream or cookie! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I have recently taken my kids in and they both needed dental work. The staff is friendly, patient, and transparent in regards to the prices of dental work. The front desk employees are always so helpful. I had a question via phone call in regards to care credit and paying for dental work that would be needed. I spoke to Larissa, and she took the time to speak with her manager to verify the answer she was giving me was in fact the right information. She called me back in a timely manner with the information I was seeking. That piece of information just gave me a sense of relief. Thank you Larissa for really helping me with the information. Also a big thank you to the RDA who help me and was patient, especially with my son not wanting to drink anything, and the RDA who assisted my daughter while she got her first ever extractions. Last but not least, thank you to the amazing doctors.

Fantastic experience: We just had our appointment at Texas Kids Dental at this location, and Art made my children's day, very attentive and informative about the waiting time. Also, we have beign going there for awhile now and he is always making sure the waiting and game areas are clean, checking on people asking if they need anything. Also have always telling about the events the office have for kids. And all this always with a great attitude!

Fantastic experience: Great place, my son is 1 and he absolutely loves it they have so many things for the kids to play with so the wait time goes by real fast. Not only that but the check ups are usually super quick, staff is real friendly and patient.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough how much I love this dental office. my son just turned one but I have been bringing him since around 7 months. all the cool games & theatre (it's like a mini peter piper in here!) is a plus while waiting. (oh and I can't forget about the goodies after the visit!) he doesn't fight to get his teeth cleaned and he's getting used to the visits so I hope he continues to love his visits (: the dentist always addresses any concerns and is fast & gentle.

Fantastic experience: My two boys have been going here for a while now! They absolutely love it! My oldest who is autistic has a hard time when it comes to getting his teeth looked at though but I'm grateful these people are calm and patient with him. It puts a little stress off of me to know that they work with us on that part.

Fantastic experience: I was a bit nervous taking my son to his 1st appt at 6 mos old. After researching a bit I decided to move forward with Texas kids dental. He’s now 13 mos, we’ve been there 3 times and all have been great experiences. Staff is great, Drs have been great and patient.

Fantastic experience: I dont think I can ask for a better experience for my kids dental needs!! The staff is awesome, so inviting and help the kiddos not be scared at all!! Sandra has always been my "go to" dental assistant because she has known my kids since their very first appt here at joe battle office and we love her, she is so awesome ❤️ The dentist are always so good to my kids and they love it!! Not to many kids like going to the dentist and they love it here and don't mind the dental work! Thank you for all you do!!

Fantastic experience: Holy Amusement Park. This place is awesome. With all the offered activities I don't mind a longer wait. :) We came for a routine check up. The staff was friendly and efficient. I was told from the beginning that costs will come up and how much. That amount did not change by the end and I wasn't met with "hidden" expenses. The doctor (Dr Jennings) was great, explained everything to me and the kiddo and made sure no question was unanswered. Best of the whole visit in my opinion: Ice Cream afterward. Free cone with vanilla soft serve. Exactly what the doctor ordered on such a hot day. I am looking forward to taking him again.

Fantastic experience: My 2 year loves to come here and enjoy all of their fun activities! The doctors and staff are really nice and have great people skills. They also try to make sure my toddler is not as nervous when he goes. They give me a lot of great information to make sure my kids teeth keep growing great.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had to be sedated for treatment. She was super nervous and the assistant, I believe his name was Eric r was amazing. Talked her through it all and made her feel super comfortable. Thank you Texas kids staff for all being amazing

Fantastic experience: As a child who hated the dentist growing up, I’m glad I found this place for my children. It’s such a comfortable relaxing environment and the staff is amazing and gentle! My children have so much fun from the time they walk in that by the time it’s time to see the dentist they cooperate so well! I love it here!

Fantastic experience: I'm not sure where to start. Amazing staff. Very clean office. So much entertainment for the kids, and massage chairs! You'd think all that was to distract from maybe super long wait times or poor service. Absolutely not! I experienced a smooth intake flow as a new patient for my little one as well as thorough explanation as to what's needed and why. I could go on, but I'd want people to actually read this.

Fantastic experience: The insurance verifier and the front desk were so nice and helpful. I never struggle to get through on thier lines and they always call back when they say they will. My son needed to get four extractions, Dr. Payne took extra time to ensure he was relaxed and comfortable. The extractions were so quick and painless, it was over before either of us realized it started. I came here when I was younger and have always brought my children here since having them because of the excellent service. Thank you Dr. Payne and team!
