Negative experience: I am autistic. I told everyone that I came into contact with that I was autistic. I wrote in my application that I was autistic and had ptsd from child abuse. At some point everything became too much and I had a meltdown. They are refusing service due to my autism. Autism isn't a choice. Meltdowns aren't a choice. People with disabilities have the right to exist, we have the right to Healthcare. As an aside, the moment I realized I was beginning to have a meltdown I left the building. I do everything in my power to avoid issues, but you can't control other people's feelings about people with disabilities. Thankfully the Ada exists.

Fantastic experience: I have say It’s nice to meet good people doing good business when so many try to take advantage. I am here from out of town. I broke a decent piece of my tooth. I have no insurance and live paycheck to paycheck. Not only did the professionals at this dentistry book and fix my issue immediately, they gave me a new patient discount that really helped me out. Words can’t describe the scrutiny I went through calling other dentistry’s in the Louisville area. With that being said, I highly recommend Harvey and Nichols family dentistry for business. Not only were they helpful and professional they showed me that they are in the business to actually help people. Fixed my emergency same day and gave me a great price to help me with my Situation.

Negative experience: Difficult to get ahold of office staff . Put on hold for over 11 minutes and no one answered. Left message per request and no one called back.

Fantastic experience: Chelsey was wonderful! She has a great personality and did fantastic with my x-rays and cleaning. She is very gentle and knowledgeable. Dr Harvey came in to look at my teeth and he was very polite and educational. I was very pleased with my service and the both of them. Also I would like to add that the receptionists were very polite and nice. I am now a patient with them. I would definitely recommend this office of Dr Harvey’s to take care of you. Thank you!!!

Positive experience: I have always had great experiences until recently. I went in September where a cavity was missed. It grew very large. They did a deep filling hoping that would fix the issue. Since that made things worse, I had a root canal. After the root canal, I am still having extreme pain. I went back in and they told me it is normal without even looking at the tooth. Disappointed after how much money I have spent trying to fix this tooth.

Negative experience: My poor experience has been with scheduling. I made an appointment in September of 2024 for a new patient appointment for first available date in February. Called today to confirm the time of that appointment and they "don't have it scheduled." They do not have me booked for any appointment and were not able to fit me into their schedule. This is the second time that I have had issues with scheduling a new patient appointment and will prevent me from recommending this office to anyone else. Staff are nice on the phone, but when I've waited this long to be told they never noted or scheduled it is beyond frustrating.

Negative experience: Haven’t been to this dentist in over a year because they had issues with my insurance. Just today my entire family gets charged for 500 dollars and my charge is over 300 dollars even though I only went to one cleaning in 2023. Seems like they wanted someone to blame it on so they blamed it on me who doesn't have dental insurance at the moment. Some shady practice going on here and they are money grabbers. Will be going somewhere else next time. Was better before Hinton sold the practice.

Fantastic experience: Just started with this office yesterday. I’m usually scared of going to the dentist but this was the most comfortable I have ever been. Everyone was great and made me feel so welcome. I would recommend this dental office to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Chris Nichols is a great dentist and their dental assistant Sue is a wonderful person. I had to get a tooth extracted and ended up having a really bad panic attack and started crying. Sue never made me feel like I was being ridiculous and really helped me through the process with patience. It was a painless experience and went as smoothly as possible, they definitely know what they're doing. I'm very thankful, they were so kind. I would absolutely recommend this office. Especially if you have dental anxiety.

Negative experience: Had tooth extracted last week, mentioned multiple times my last extraction resulted in a dry socket..Went back today on my lunch break because the pain was getting worse so I already knew. He numbs me and jabs the metal pick in the extraction site repeatedly for 5 minutes to get blood flow. Tells me not to rinse my mouth and to baby the site (which I had been doing bc I’m traumatized from the last time) and sends me on my way. I’m headed back to work and look in the mirror with blood flowing down to my chin. I had to rinse it!! And I can’t find ANYTHING where what he did today is a recommended treatment for a dry socket. I said “they didn’t do this last time!” And he says “so you have a history of them?” Yeah fool, Ive told you multiple times. Not to mention the day of the extraction I had to go back and ask about the antibiotic bc he never sent it.. nobody follows up when they say they will either.

Fantastic experience: Was in severe pain for 3 days and no other office could see me anytime soon as a non-existing patient. But they got me in, took care of what I needed done, and took away my pain. Everyone was super nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I just had the best root canal ever! (Yes you heard me right!) Dr Blystone and her assistant Isabelle did a fantastic job! They made me feel so comfortable. Once I was numb, they got the job done. I barely felt anything. Dr Blystone was very gentle and thorough. I highly recommend this duo!

Fantastic experience: Professional, always timely, and their costs are always very reasonable. I had some chipped front teeth and my Sons had some cavities. Dr. Nichols and his assistant fixed us up in short order. We were in and out in a hour, and Peyton made my front chompers look like new: she is an artist! Look no further: this is where you should get your teeth taken care of

Positive experience: All of the staff is very nice, but do NOT get a crown done here. I had to go in 3 times to get it drilled down, the last time they told me if it still hurt I would have to get a root canal. I went home to my original dentist I have had since I was a kid, and he told me "No wonder your tooth hurts, this crown is not even close to matching your teeth." He drilled it down and my teeth have FINALLY had some relief, after 6 months. If I wouldn't have gotten a second opinion, I would have had to get a root canal. Just be careful!!!

Fantastic experience: Most definitely the best Dentist practice I’ve ever been to. Every employee I’ve interacted with has been friendly and professional and efficient. I’ve never felt pressured to have more work done than necessary just so they can earn an extra dollar. The hygienists go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and everybody that has worked on my teeth has been extremely skilled!

Fantastic experience: This practice was recommended to us by my coworker and they absolutely exceeded my expectations… the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating ( I had appointments with both kids at the same time so I had to bounce back and forth between the rooms), the doctors were very nice, explained everything in detail, and the service was great! We had school notes for the kids and referrals in hand before we even got out of the exam rooms! My kids are actually excited for their next visit I highly recommend them !

Fantastic experience: It's really hard to find excellent friendly professional service like Nichols and Harvey Denistry. I didn't have but a 5 minute wait until I got to the back which means they respect your time. They were only supposed to do 1 thing but because of a cancelation they did a thorough examination x rays and explained everything about my insurance and payments. I could NOT have got better service anywhere!!! I found my permanent dentist and I'm grateful!!!!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit and I will continue to come here for my future dental care. Dr. Gleason was great and informative about establishing a care plan for my dental situation. I didn’t catch the First Lady’s name who assisted me, but she was fantastic while doing my x-rays. I needed a cleaning so I was introduced to Emma and could not have asked for a better dental hygienist. She was so very kind to me throughout the whole procedure, and made sure I was comfortable. She was thorough and chatted with me the whole time, offering tips etc as we went. She made a difficult visit so much easier. Everybody I encountered during my visit was great. I could not have asked for a better experience!

In spite of the remodeling going on, your facility is very clean, all of your employees are fantastic, and I was so pleased with the treatment I received. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Harvey for many years and have always trusted his conservative advice and treatment. With the addition of Dr. Nichols and Dr. Gleason, the services have been expanded to root canals and same-day crowns. This has eliminated driving to Louisville or other locations to get follow up work. All of the doctors and staff are extremely friendly and helpful in advising their patients to make the right decision concerning healthcare. You never have to wait long in the office for your appointment, and I feel confident I receive the best care possible from Harvey and Nichols. The staff is outgoing and professional, the dental hygienists take care of you like your family and Harvey and Nichols are very professional and caring with their work. They have done cleanings, extractions, and crowns on my teeth and I have always been completely satisfied. The best advice Dr Harvey ever gave me was to get my daughter’s wisdom teeth removed when she was 15. That has kept her smile perfect!

Fantastic experience: This has been my dentist office for 3 years now. When I went for my first visit I filled out the paperwork and answered it had been 15 years since my last dentist visit. They were not sure what to expect when I opened my mouth. LOL. I have one of the best sets of teeth they have seen!! Love everyone here and they treat you like family. We still joke about the 15 years all this time later.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the best places I have ever been to have dental work. The staff ( Dr. Nichols’s, Tasha, Andrea, Beverley and more) I highly recommend it. I had a root canal crack from a previous place and the team there went right to work on how it fit me best to fix it. In the end I got a new bridge. I have also had two cleaning and a crown. The work was outstanding.

Fantastic experience: Chris got me right in when I was having severe dental pain! He was quick to numb me up to get me out of pain and then got me in for a root canal the same day! I am very impressed! 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: I used to HATE going to the dentist when I was a kid. When I turned 30, my wife talked me into going to Harvey and Nichols and I’ve been going ever since. Great business, great people. They will take care of you and your teeth.
