Fantastic experience: Dr.Pinkus is great and just did my two root canals so professionally, that was 2024,It’s over a year later and now Dr. Pinkus did two more root canals and I have two new crowns for the bottom right. He’s great! Such an amazing experience working with Dr. Pinkus he’s the sweetest and so kind and caring as well as gentle. No pain. He doesn’t hurt you as promised! Ty so much. Cleaning on Monday! Fantastic experience: went to National Dental on Saturday l got a cleaning done i haven't been to the dentist in a while and went for a cleaning i was nervous at first but the minute i walked in the manager made me feel very comfortable the whole team is very professional Clean and Informative.The Dentist explained what I needed and how to maintain proper hygiene. I highly recommend that you consider them in your Dentistry needs.I was truly blown away from the experience.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at this office, the office was very clean and organized. Everyone was welcoming, especially the office manager Alicia and Dr. Pinkus. They made me feel comfortable and cared for. I would recommend this office to everyone!

Negative experience: STAY FAR AWAY from National Dental, I would rate this place a zero if I could. Alicia, the office manager, is a liar and an absolute fraud. Alicia provided a quote for an ortho treatment plan, I insisted on seeing the cost of the treatment from insurance provider and she told me that she had consulted with my insurance to provide the cost estimate of $6800. Subsequently, I signed a contract to pay for the braces and aligners over a 2-yr period. Turns out she never consulted with my insurance provider and instead, provided me with an out of pocket rate; a decision that if I had known, would have prevented me from going forward with the treatment. She straight up lied to me. It took several months of back and forth before she would eventually submit a claim to my insurance company which she consistently stalled, as she tried to conceal the pre-negotiated insurance cost of the treatment from me. After several back and forth with ND and my insurance provider, I found out that the treatment would only cost about half of what ND told me, had it gone through my insurance. Unfortunately, because I signed a contract for $6800, it has been almost impossible to get care credit to adjust that amount. I've been going back and forth with National Dental and Care credit and Alicia has been so unhelpful, extremely rude, dismissive, lacks customer service skills. She even yelled at me at one point and then called me back later to apologize for yelling. Alicia is fraudulent and she deliberately tricked me into signing a contract for a higher treatment cost knowing fully well that the quote from the insurance company would be significantly less. She is a liar and a fraud. She's definitely doing some shady business to get you to pay more. If you do decide to go here, then make sure to speak to your insurance company directly to confirm any prices they tell you. I have been going here for 2 years, but held off on leaving a review because I wanted to give them a chance to rectify this and they never did. Unfortunately, because I'm in a contract with them, I will finish out the orthodontic treatment plan. However, I will not be using them for any future dental needs and will be seeing a different dental office for any separate dental needs.

Negative experience: a few years back a heavy set tall dentist was very disrespectful and started pointing at my mother about how if she wants her records that she would have to pay.

Fantastic experience: Had one of my best dental experiences this week. Dr. Pinkus and the staff were patient and gave me a pain free root canal. Even after the numbness wore off, there was no pain. BEAT VISIT EVER!!! ( NOTE: As of this week my dental anxiety is more than manageable

Fantastic experience: My experience at National Dental Flushing absolutely wonderful! The staff and service were top-notch and the entire team from the front desk and dentist! Specially thank you to my hygienist Glenore De Jesus and the best manager Alicia. Each of them went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at National Dental. I was in the office for nearly three hours, and in all that time I didn’t receive a cleaning, an extraction, or any actual treatment. The biggest issue was the complete lack of communication among the staff. It felt like nobody knew what was going on, and I kept getting different answers from different people. The office manager in particular was extremely unprofessional. Instead of helping the staff coordinate or resolving the confusion, she stepped in to explain my dental issues and potential treatment options. That felt inappropriate and uncomfortable, especially since she’s not a medical provider. I’m not sure if it violates any HIPAA rules, but it definitely didn’t feel like something an office manager should be doing. Overall, the disorganization and lack of professionalism were unacceptable. I left without the care I came for and with no confidence in their ability to manage patient information or treatment plans. I would not recommend this office based on experience

Fantastic experience: I avoided the dentist until I couldn’t. And so it was stressful trying to find somewhere good to go. But somehow I got lucky and found National Dental Flushing. Nice clean space. Friendly front desk. The staff that helped along the way with X-rays, imagining and assisted were all professional. Alicia helped come up with a plan I was comfortable with. The hygienist Glenore gentle and did a wonderful job, and Dr Pinkus was friendly, and quick. He made sure was ok throughout the process. Really appreciate everyone that took care of me there.

Fantastic experience: Honestly, ending up at National Dental, after all the consultations with other dental clinics to find the right fit, was the best decision I have made! I’ve got a procedure that’ll take a few months to complete, and Dr. Pinkus has been amazing through it all. I didn’t feel any pain even with my first ever root canal was done and that is just one of the many. He makes sure you’re okay the whole time. An expert in his field indeed. The whole team has been great too. They REALLY care and even helped me find a way to finance everything without stress. I feel so confident I’m in good hands here. I won’t go anywhere else after this — National Dental Flushing is where I will stay!

Positive experience: It’s a fairly decent dentist office in the Flushing area. Their lobby and waiting room is nicer than other small dentist offices in the area. It’s more roomy and comfortable. The hygienist that I had my second time coming here, two days ago, did a great job and cleaned each tooth very well. They take Medicaid insurance, however fluoride treatments/topical varnishes have to be paid out-of-pocket. I’m from the West and those were covered by insurance over there (Utah). Also, the dentists over there would always give each client a little “goodie bag,” after every cleaning, including a new Oral-B manual toothbrush, a small tube of toothpaste, and a new little thing of Oral-B string floss. I wish they would do that over here in New York! Hopefully they see this review and consider it. It really leaves a great impression.

Fantastic experience: First off the staffs are wonderful, the establishment is nice and clean. I had Dr. Pinkus who is great, he talks you through step by step on what he is doing, and is also funny. I got a implant done which did not hurt at all and was the easiest process ever. So if you need a dentist this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pincus assured me that I would not feel pain during the procedure. I didn't! He also said I may feel some pain after the numbness wears off. I DID NOT! It is the next day, still NO PAIN. Not even any sensitivity in the area. Dr. Pincus along with his assistant did an excellent job. They kept me informed on what was being done. Fantastic experience: When I walked into the dental office, I noticed that it was very clean and had a comforting atmosphere. The reception area was great, calming, and the staff was very friendly. The dentist was also very direct and straight-forward with me without any sugarcoating explaining all the procedures and answering all questions I had asked. Overall, my visit to the dental office was very positive and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family, a lot better than my previous office by a mile.

Negative experience: Beware of this place at all costs. Not only are the front desk girls rude and nasty they will turn you away on your appointment. They don't even give you a grace period either. I was 15 minutes late to try to find this place as a first time patient and to top it off this area is very busy with a high volume of people. They wanted to reschedule my appointment because of this. Mind you my appointment was booked a few weeks in advance. No courtesy whatsoever to a potential new patient. From the front desk to the assistants even to the dentist himself. They are all just uninviting, cold and rude. Don't waste your time or energy, find a place with a professional team that are kind and welcoming to their patients. I would give 0 stars if that was an option.

Negative experience: My mother and I both had very negative experiences at this dental office. The staff, especially the manager, was dishonest and constantly trying to push unnecessary treatments. My experience: I came in with a broken front tooth and needed an implant. They gave me a ridiculously high quote, clearly taking advantage of the fact that I was desperate. The dentist was rude and unprofessional. When I told him I was still in pain despite the anesthesia, he didn’t believe me. After that, I had to wait weeks for the implant and no one would give me any clear information, even when I called multiple times. My mom’s experience: She needed dentures, and they did a terrible job. The dentures were painful, uncomfortable, and way too bulky. They told us her insurance would cover the cost, then said it would be faster if we paid upfront and they’d file for reimbursement. Later we found out they didn’t even take her insurance. They lied straight to our faces. On top of that, my mom was battling cancer at the time, and they showed zero compassion. This place is dishonest, unprofessional, and only focused on making money. Stay far away.

He successfully performed root canal treatment on my back teeth, which was painless and saved me from having to extract that big tooth. Dr. Zhou was also incredibly thorough and took the time to explain everything clearly regarding my implants. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The star of the show was their office manager, Alicia, who was super-loving and kind. She walked me through the process beforehand and made sure I was comfortable with the procedure unlike other offices who try to upsell you on things that you do not need. What I really appreciated was their focus on patient care — they didn’t rush, answered all of my questions, and gave helpful tips for maintaining good oral health. The scheduling was easy, and they were on-time with my appointments. I highly recommend National Dental to anyone looking for quality dental care in a professional and friendly environment!

She and the front desk / medical receptionists were honest and very helpful with explaining how the appointment is supposed to go and any out of pocket cost. They worked with me as much as they can. I really appreciate them. Evelyn was very kind and examined my teeth and told me the truth and what I should do. My teeth and gums were not in its best shape and she told me the truth and the out pocket cost but not forcing me to choose to do anything. She gave me options and was very thorough with it . I’m glad she didn’t shame me either. She was helpful and kind. And I appreciate her and the front desk/ medical receptionists and the dental assistant for their thorough and kind care. Positive experience: My experience was quite strange. The day before, I was told I had mild inflammation around my gums, and a cleaning would fix everything by Dr. Stanley Pinkus. When I came in today, I was immediately arranged to have a cleaning. After telling the hygenist what the dentist from the day before told me, after prodding my gums, the hygienist Danna told me that my gingivitis was becoming severe but was fixable. She then recommended gingival irrigation and laser bacterial reduction. Another person came in and showed me the treatment plan, and somehow, the costs total up to more than $800 and that my dental insurance (Delta Dental) would cover only $50. My gums were bleeding, and I didn't want to have any future troubles with my oral health, so I agreed to the procedures right then and there. After all, I didn't have a cleaning for more than a year, so I figured it was my problem. The hygienist performed the procedure, which was done nice and quick, even though I bled a lot. However, later, the person who came in with the treatment plan tried to get me on periodontal cleanings, which made me question whether I paid extra for unnecessary treatments. Overall, service was impeccable, but I feel somewhat cheated at the end.

Negative experience: The experience was HORRENDOUS!! I came in to have a lentil-sized fibroma removed from my tongue. It needed to be biopsied. Instead of simply testing the excised fibroma, this butcher - Dr. Matuza - chose to cut off the tip of my tongue!! After 3 weeks, the sutures have still not dissolved. I am numb. My tongue is jagged. This cold, condescending man actually told me my tongue will grow back!!! After that brutal experience, not one person from the office called to ask how i was doing. I was sent home with no aftercare instructions save what to do in the event of a tooth extraction! I had to google for post-surgical care instructions The final insult was during the follow-up which i dreaded going to. I explained to the Butcher that I had been in excruciating pain for 4 days. His response? He shrugged and said, "Well, that's abnormal."

Iwas on vacation with my wife in new york city all the way from Rochester, all after sudden my tooth start hearting I have found a dentist office that is great, I must tell you, the staff, especially the doctor, was very professional, I enjoyed my visit, I didn't feel any form of discomfort, I only know that the doctor says that he was finished with the extraction. Negative experience: The dentist did a poor job with my filling and didn’t want to fix it himself. Instead, he told me to go to another dentist. I had asked for the same dentist who did my consultation, but they said only this other dentist does the fillings. Overall, it felt unprofessional and like they didn’t care. Avoid this place and don’t waste your time like I did.

Fantastic experience: 5 Stars - Excellent Experience! National dental in flushing provided me with the best dental care experience I have had till now. Professional, courteous, friendly, and extremely kind staff. They are very easygoing and made the whole treatment much easier. Dr. Pinkys was incredibly thorough, gentle, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I had a root canal and whole process was smooth and painless, Dr. Pinkys and Miss Gloria were very knowledgeable and reassuring. They are both sweet and I love them! Miss Glemore (the hygienist) was thorough and gentle during my cleaning, and she gave me some excellent advice. She is so sweet and kind! Miss Alicia the manager, I love her she helped me a lot! I love when she’s checking me if everything okay. National Dental flushing you guys are the best! I can't wait for my next visit this coming Saturday! Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: The doctors and staff are very professional. I used to be afraid of visiting dentists, but Dr. Stanley always reassured me, saying, 'Nobody is going to hurt this lady at all—haha!' I had a dental emergency and needed to have a tooth extracted. They were able to perform an immediate implant! The process was challenging, but thanks to Dr. Stanley and a very kind elderly staff member, I now have a perfect dental implant. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Fantastic experience: took my dad who has dental needs to get his two root canals last week and it was a pleasant experience. My father did not feel any discomfort and was immediately ready to continue his day. Dr. Pinkus and his staff are kind and professional. Alicia the office manager treated us like family and explained all the numbers clearly so we understood what insurance covered and what it didn’t.

Fantastic experience: Ladies in the front desk very helpful ,last minutes appt accepted. The dr who saw me forgot to send prescription for pain and antibiotics,once I get to the pharmacy,they told me there were not prescription ,office was closed ,when I called to have the prescription sent,called emergency number ,which supposed to answer 24/7 ,didnt answer ,now I'm suffering the pain being saturday night,and the office open on monday. update : I received a call Sunday morning from the office apologizing for the inconvenient, and the lady sent prescription to the pharmacy

Fantastic experience: At first not gonna lie, I dreaded even stepping foot into the place (still do!) . This isn’t because of their service though so you good on that, I simply have a fear of the dentist (like most normal people!) I will say, I don’t really like doing these reviews but if it will make you feel at ease, this dentist office really did make me feel like I’ll be okay and I was. Root canal was a success and I only shed one tear (from my own fear alone). Great Great work! Good looks for the bless up!

Fantastic experience: After 3 years searching for a good dentist Finally, I found it at the National l Dental Flushing location his is Doctor Zhou Excellente and experience Doctor,Everyone At the office were very professional with friendly. Alicia helped me with the treatment plan process. I came in pain today, and they took care of me immediately. I'm so happy , l will able to sleep tonight. I highly recommend National Dental Flushing location.

Fantastic experience: I had a great visit at National Dental in flushing Queens. It's a beautiful, modern office with professional people working there. I got an approval notice today in the mail and feel good about that and it happened within 7-10 days.

Negative experience: THIS PLACE IS AFTER YOUR MONEY! Came here for a simple routine cleaning covered by my insurance, but ended up paying an extra $200 for stain removal because they claimed that was not included as part of the regular cleaning. As stated by the hygienist, Everlyn, the extra charge was simply because it took longer to remove the stains, not because they used any different products or equipments. To me, that sounds like they strive to do the bare minimum, but will only do better if you pay more. I have never experienced an extra charge for stain removal at any other dental office I have been to, including the one I just went to that did a wonderful job at removing my food stains at no extra cost. As for the dentist, Dr. Stanley Pinkus, he came in for no longer than one minute after my cleaning, looked in my mouth for no longer than 2 seconds, did not examine my mouth at all, and told me my mouth looked great. He asked me about my cleaning and told me to leave a review about the place. Well, here’s the review. Not a happy customer, will NOT be going back!

The hygienist gave me a cleaning and the doctor was prompt and friendly and reasurng. I felt comfortabl and look information to try procedure and was promis to get my dentures in a month.
