Family Dental Care of Powdersville

Positive experience: I like the assistants and Dr Sibal. They are a little expensive and have to have the money up front before any work is done. I paid over $5000.00 last year and just got the work going. I don't like to pay that much and now they're trying to make me pay some more.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Siblings friendly and excellent. His dental hygienists do a good job and makes you feel comfortable.

Positive experience: The dentist Dr. Ben was very very sweet and calmed me down with my fear of going to the dentist, however the hygienist Angel was very rough with me. I was struggling with getting the x-rays done and she kept trying to put it into my mouth, resulting in a cut & bruise on my palate.

Negative experience: Showed up early for six month cleaning for my handicap wife, said they canceled her appointment because she didn't answer a text message, my wife doesn't respond to text messages or emails from anyone she has cognitive issues, I told them she cannot answer your text? You should know that this isn't are first visit, problem when the girl beside her was smirking, laughing, She thought it was funny, they don't know how much work it is to even get her there, let alone cancel the appointment we have had for six months? I told her this was BS, my wife doesn't respond to text? The lady said she didn't care thats our policy, I said this is still BS, they kicked me out, said they would send me a letter? I believe they are discriminating against handicapped people that do not use cell phones? Told them they should send messages to me, they didn't care. Good thing is I found a higher rated dentist the same day and they would give me a 20 percent discount! Do not use these guys, the dentist Cybil, did a crown for me, I had to return 3 times, before the crown actually fit, he acted like i was putting him out, He obviously thinks my time isn't valuable DO NOT USeThem!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have had some dental experiences that I would rather not remember for various reasons. Family Dental makes me feel at ease and don't get frustrated when I have a problem having x-rays. (I have a bad gag reflex, which sometimes makes it hard to get xrays.)

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Family Dental Care of Powdersville with Dr. Wellman. I had broken a back molar. He removed the broken molar and gave me thorough advice on how to care for it as it healed. The staff was very good too. Family Dental Care of Powdersville is a wonderful group. They take the time and care to let you know what they will be doing. Very thorough and careful. I had a cleaning and Stephani let me know everything she was doing and was very gentle. The whole team is great.

Fantastic experience: My Dental visit from beginning to end was wonderful Dr. J even though he said I could just call him. J and staff were thorough and they were extremely attentive, helpful and professional. They made sure I was comfortable and understood everything regarding all services. I had a loose bridge and had to have a tooth extracted. I have done so well since these procedures they were very thorough and explained everything as they proceeded they assured me I would feel no pain and they took care of that. They were extremely gentle. I would highly recommend Family Dental Care of Powdersville, Dr. J and his entire staff and I plan on going again to see Dr. J.

Fantastic experience: I came to FDC of Powdersville by recommendation and I was not disappointed. The front desk staff, as well as all whom I encountered, was friendly and professional. The technology used to take my x-rays seemed state of the arts. The hygienist was thorough and gentle. Dr. Wellman was friendly and informed me of my current dental state as well as possible future needs.

Fantastic experience: Words cannot describe how amazing the staff here is. I called after hours in excruciating pain and the receptionist completely understood how angry I was due to my pain and was absolutely sweet,caring, and sympathetic to me trying her absolutely best to get me help without asking 100 questions. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with so much compassion it was tear jerking. As soon as the receptionist realized I was in as much pain she had me sit down and didn't ask me to talk much at all. The nurse was soooo sweet and nice and even turned the TV on for my girlfriends son to watch while they wete in the room with me waiting for the dentist. The dentist was off the charts amazing. Super friendly and nice and treated me luke we had been best friends for years. He explained worst case scenario and worst case pricing and even the worst case pricing was really cheap. After all was said and done I ended up paying $100 less than they quoted me. I will never go to another dental office again i dont care if I have to drive 2 hours to see them. Would highly recommend and go again

When I called to make the appointment and ask questions I spoke to Jordyn, she answered all of my questions with ease and was able to get me in within two days of the initial call for my cleaning. She was very knowledgeable and kind. I have a fear of the dentist and I am very hard to handle, with that being said, when I went in Kristine was the one that took care of me. She handled me like a CHAMP. She was so sweet and made me feel comfortable being there. When Dr. Wellman came to see me after the cleaning he was also very kind and understanding of my fear and handled me as such. Overall I am very pleased with my experience and I feel confident in putting my dental health in their hands. <3

Fantastic experience: FDC of Powdersville is a dentist office that cares about their patients. Great care from everyone there. I highly recommend Bin Wellman, DMD on a perfect job as a dentist. He performed a root canal in the office and nothing bothered me afterward. Some people that had root canals with other dentists could not work afterward for a few days. This is a great dentist office. Again I highly recommend this facility and all that work there.

Fantastic experience: Arrived early due to not knowing the covid 19 procedure, and called the office from my car, the office staff asked me to come in very polite and personable, had my temperature taken and asked a few questions to ensure I felt well, very professional. Short wait before being taken for treatment, asked similar questions about my recent health, small talk , then X-rays quick brush up clean and check with the staff all being calm and professional before being taken back to the front office, all very friendly and welcoming and made me feel calm about visiting the dentist,

Fantastic experience: This was the most comfortable experience I've ever had at the dentist office. The first person that always sees your teeth is the assistant, and she was very sweet and understanding of the condition of my teeth. I am kicking myself for not remembering her name, but she was wonderful! Dr. Sibal explained every step to my procedure before and during it. Him and his assistant were also constantly checking to make sure I was comfortable and not in any pain. I've never had a dentist make the numbing shots be completely painless! Dr Sibal took the time to go into extensive detail about a a completely different procedure that I had questions about and calmed a lot of my anxieties surrounding it. The billing and front desk team were also very kind and down to earth. They were very knowledgeable about future treatments. Even though it was the end of the day, I never felt rushed. It may be odd that I'm excited that I've finally found the dentist office that feels right for me, but I hope that whoever reads this review makes the same choice that I did.

Kristine was genuinely wonderful for my cleaning, always made sure to be as informative as possible, especially when using the new tech they have. Getting able to see a 3D scan of my own teeth and having them able to rotate it around and look at in real-time is such a wildly great idea that it should be the gold-standard for all dental practices!

Negative experience: I will definitely be going back to my old dentist for multiple reasons. One they're way to expensive and personally the "fill ins" looks bad. Definitely unhappy with the service.

Negative experience: Initially went in for pain in my gumb Wich involved x ray of course. In 4 short visits in Wich were split into 2 parts, a deep cleaning (2 trips unnecessary) .Then yesterday fill ins . I get done go to front to make the appointment for the other fill ins,Wich could've been done that day also. She informed me that the next visit would be 394$. Also before leaving I noticed I wasn't given a mirror to see the work that had been done. I was sore so I proceeded home. Got home to look and I can still literally see where work wasn't done that they said they did. The fill ins he did do l, he didn't do so great on.Now I gotta see my old dentist to fix out of my pocket. They don't let you know cost. Never warned me I was getting close to meeting my limit. Did a poor job and left me hanging. Then called ready to confirm the "next" appointments, after me telling her I couldn't afford it today. So you're confirming an appointment a week away. Why not wait until the day or 2 days before? I guess they want that money. I sure wish I would've went to Foothills dentist to start with. Dr. Ayers is incredible.

Negative experience: It was not my greatest experience. The tech that did my cleaning was very “amateur” in his skills and a bit standoffish. Ultimately, i was sprayed numerous times, and my jaw was killing me by the end of cleaning because I had to keep my mouth open for an exceptional length of time. He lacked any sensitivity to my body language which was very obvious. Learned he was not a full time employee and maybe that is why he failed to express the normal quality of care I usually receive. ☹️

Fantastic experience: I've only had a couple of visits but what I appreciate most is the non-judgmental attitude that everyone seem to have. My teeth are not in that great of shape and I have a lot of work that needs to be done but Dr Jay treated me with kindness and respect. I have many more visits to go and hopefully one day I will have a beautiful smile again. Would love to go back again and have the bridge work done that Dr Jay and I discussed I have $4,000 on my dental insurance but I'm going to have to come up with $500 out of pocket even with the 4,000 so that only is the reason why it is difficult to do at this time I just wish the price is more so high but everyone there is great especially enjoy Dr J

I felt no judgement from them. Aside from the soreness afterwards (which I completely expected since it had been so long and I hate flossing) there was no pain! Everyone that I met was very nice.
