The office was the only one in the area willing to see me, before November, to conduct my six month cleaning regimen. When I arrived the office was clean and welcoming. The staff was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. I think I found my new dentist!

Fantastic experience: Staff was very friendly. The hygienist told step by step before she started, the Dr. came in afterwards and also explained my treatment plan with visuals. The Dr. understood that I was on the clock and allowed me to check in with my job and even offered to allow me to connect to WiFi. The front desk was extremely friendly and encouraging. I was offered a next day appointment due to a recent cancellation and was able to start my treatment plan right away. Had I known how nice this staff and office was, I would’ve made my appointment when I first moved to Columbia.

Negative experience: The wait time was extremely long. Even once I was checked into the back by the nurse I still had to wait almost an hour before the doctor even seen me. The associates at the front desk and the nurses who assisted me didn’t seem very knowledgeable about anything. More training maybe needs to be enforced. Sorry to leave this type of review but I’ve never had such an experience like this at any dentist office I’ve been to especially as a new patient. Best regards for any new patients, I hope it’s not like the experience I had for anyone else.

Negative experience: I can’t speak for the entire office, but our experience was quite disappointing and left us wondering how this place has received such glowing reviews. Most notably, our interaction with the hygienist, Nikki, was particularly unpleasant. She showed little to no bedside manner—not even a basic greeting or effort to make the patient feel comfortable. At one point, she used a dismissive hand gesture (beckoning with her finger) to call the patient over, which felt demeaning and unprofessional in a clinical environment. If you do choose to visit this office, I would strongly recommend requesting a different hygienist for your cleaning. Based on our experience, we will not be returning and would not recommend this practice.

Negative experience: I have had the worst experience since Dr T left this place, every time I come I have to wait 45 mins to an hour to be seen by the dentist, then they wait you sign something that they have told you what they will charge to have tge work done by you insurance before you have had anything done. I ask them to gave me 5 mins to call my insurance companyvto see how much they would cover for a tooth to be extracted so I would know how much I would have to pay out my pocket. Remind you I have already been there for a hour waiting on them, the tech told me they was not going to be able to do anything including my schedule teeth cleaning do to time restraint. I was so out done with those folks until i just walked out. I am now looking for a different dentist to go to, where i will feel more appreciated as a patient.

Positive experience: I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment on 06/10/25. The reason for my visit, though, was not so pleasant. My tooth’s (back molar) outer enamel weakened and broke leaving an opening exposing my dentin. It caused no pain, but having an opening in my tooth was scary to me. I was overly cautious and ate on the opposite side of my mouth, ha! After finding in-network dentists and reading reviews, I decided to make an appointment at this location. I used the online tool and received confirmation via text. I completed all new patient paperwork online. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly. Everyone that I encountered was kind and welcoming. I was extremely nervous so this was appreciated. I was serviced by Dr. Kennedy O’Brien. She did everything possible to make me as comfortable as possible and took her time to explain options to me. We landed on completing a Filling during that visit and made a future appointment for a Crown service. While I learned the filling is intended to last quite some time, I made an appointment for the Crown service three weeks later due to other commitments. I appreciate all the patience she exhibited and the education shared regarding options. In the interim, I continued to practice caution by eating on the opposite side of my mouth (to make me feel comfortable of not making anything worse - ha!) and brush/flossed as normal. However, I noticed changes in the Filling over the week, but assumed it was normal…? Unfortunately, my Filling fell out a week and a half later (this past Saturday night). I must have swallowed it as I noticed it was gone after eating bread and rolling my tongue over my tooth. :( That’s my experience in a nutshell! Very professional and patient-centered environment. I will determine next steps (if I will call the office regarding my Filling or wait until my upcoming appointment).

The staff from Nikki, the hygienist, Precious, the tooth polisher, and Breanna, the dentist, were all great...wonderful bedside manner. I could have fell asleep while they all worked on me! Negative experience: Ive had nothing but good experiences with this establishment but this time i had to take time out of my day to facilitate the correction of a bill between the office staff and my insurance. I was sent a statement with a dollar amount. This statement did not identify the dates of service or service provided. Office staff states they have been attempting to contact my insurance and insurance states they have been attempting to contact the office staff. Insurance states the submission of claim had insufficient information to process a payment. In any case, i had to take time out of my work day in an attempt to correct this issue. Ive tried calling back the dental office and no answer. Earlier in the day i called and asked for an office manager and there was none on duty. The associate took my information and ensured i would receive a call back, but no call back in the last 4 hours. Office staff is disappointing. Hard to believe nobody on duty to assist me in such a simple matter. Called this office 3 times today.

Positive experience: The professionalism of an all- female group was not missed. I appreciated the cleanliness of the office, the pride the staff took in their individual jobs, and the greeting and checkout service rendered. A new experience for me in some ways and eager to get my scheduled restoration under way.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient here for several years, recently started seeing Dr. O’Brien when the previous Dr left and she is awesome and so is her dental assistant! The front staff is always very friendly and helpful! Never a problem getting an appt and availability is usually good!

Negative experience: I wasn’t impressed and highly disappointed on my very first visit. I’m unsure if I will return for further care. And I plan on canceling my Son’s upcoming appointment. My decision is based on my current Insurance policy and plan of care. I pay good money every two weeks for the best dental plan. But we all know how it works. I’m supposed to get Annual Preventative care (at least once or twice a year) which includes Cleaning for free based on insurance. Then anything else falls under the plan and what they will pay for and what I’m responsible for paying for. Now I received x-rays, etc. But NO cleaning. Because their recommendations and treatment plan will be in works. Which means I just missed out on my First free cleaning through insurance. I wasn’t asked what I wanted, I was told what was best for me. I don’t totally disagree with the treatment plan. But Thank You for counting my pockets. So where I could have got my first cleaning free under insurance. I’m waiting on the total cost of deep cleaning, etc. So before I make same mistake on my son. I will find a Dental office that will give at least his first cleaning based off how my insurance works, with recommendations for any other care to follow. Because now I have to wait or come out of pocket for my care. So I wasn’t impressed and Highly disappointed.

Negative experience: I made an appointment here 6 months in advance as it can be very challenging for me to find work coverage. I received multiple reminder texts about my appointment and showed up 20 minutes early but they did not see me on the schedule. When I offered to show them my appointment reminder texts, they found a note in their system confirming that I had an appointment and was there at the correct time, but they had neglected to put me on their schedule officially. They refused to work me in at my scheduled appointment time, despite having come early and scheduling half a year in advance. I was forced to decline the alternative time they offered me because, as I said, it's very challenging for me to arrange work coverage and I would not have someone available for the additional hours they wanted me to wait. I expect a business to be more accommodating when an error is theirs and I will not be rescheduling with them.

Negative experience: It did not have a good experience after getting a root canal . I had two crowns place. They had to be removed twice because they did not fit, they were wrong. I'm still having issues with them. I would not recommend my friends to this practice. I was patient with them to make everything right, but I'm still having problems!!

Fantastic experience: Omg where do I start! My visit was full of amazing energy! It all started with front desk staff! Front desk was amazing and check out staff was awesome and very helpful! I would love to give a special shout out to Heather, she’s very patient and kind, very gentle when she was cleaning my teeth and funny. Also, she made me laugh the entire time I was there and we were even vibing to some music while she was cleaning my teeth. My entire experience from beginning to end was such an amazing experience. I’m glad I chose them and you should too!

Fantastic experience: It all started at the front desk! I encountered two really gorgeous young ladies that first greeted me...and made me feel all warm and welcomed (I don't remember their names but you'll know when you see them)...didnt have to wait long...paperwork was easy and straight to the point...then...there's Heather!!! She was soooo AMAZING!!! I've never felt so comfortable with someone cleaning my teeth! Like, I kinda fell asleep I was so relaxed! She didn't hurt my gums with the sharp "pokey" thingy or choke me with the "spit sucky" thingy...her hands are super magical!!! I also enjoyed all the cool gadgets she used...like the 3D model of my teeth on the screen (zombie-like but really cool)...or when she turned off the lights and used the UV light thingy to look for whatever she was looking for on my teeth (thought she was gonna burn my lips but she didn't)!! Or, when she used that gauge thingy to check for gum disease (she patiently explained what she was doing and the importance of doing it)...ooooo and I loved when she let me choose my flavors (I chose strawberry and raspberry which were really delicious... even though I wasn't suppose to eat it but I did a little... oops)...so, very long story short...I enjoyed my new patient experience here!! Will be back soon!!

Negative experience: I arrived early for my appointment just to be told that it was canceled. They said that they text me for confirmation. I told them my appointment was set up when I was here the last time and that I don't always view my text. They replied, "we called you." I looked through my old calls and voice mail, didn't happened. Enough is enough. I'm now at another Dentistry. My wife had the same problem. It's so sad that they don't care about their customers. I would have been willing to pay a fee if I did show up. I waisted time and money. Terrible customers service.

Negative experience: It was a great experience when I first tated comming here but not anymore. It's an unorganized mess now. A dentist at this location put my crown on and in 2 months it just fell off! They ask if I can come in at 11 as if they had an opening which they didn't. After I was there for 50 minutes and asking why it was taking so long the response was I was a work in. I had already been hit with one bad experience after another with them so I didn't want to wait an unspecified amount of time. Give me an actual appointment. They completely mishandled me getting my crown initially and I had to call to find out what was going on. They have scheduled an appointment for me in the past without talking to me first and they have not scheduled a cleaning that I was told was going to be scheduled. The list actually keeps going. I don't know what happened but all my experiences with them in 2024 have not been good. Update: I was lied to and did not get an appointment scheduled. Please do not go to these people. I spent thousands here for terrible service and work that wasn't done properly. I know have to take other actions because they will not correct the issue. The nasty front desk person that didn't schedule the appointment called me ugly!

Negative experience: Today I called for an emergency visit because I broke a tooth. Basically, to find out what can be done. I waited in the back for an hour but found out my employer changed insurance carriers for dental. We were still not loaded. I offered to pay for it with my FSA card but I don’t think the lady verifying insurance understood. I then waited up front another 30 minutes, no communication made to the back while they thought I left after telling them I would wait upfront in hopes of still being seen. I wasted Sick Leave and time today to not be seen.

I went in with a lot of anxiety, and left with my questions answered and a smile on my face. All of the girls at the front desk were the cherry on top to my visit. I can’t wait to be back!

Negative experience: I had the worst experience at Killian Road Dental Care. I arrived for my appointment and an older lady named Kasey or Katina ,the Hygenist came to greet and get my cleaning started. At the beginning of the process, I knew that this encounter was going to go left. She had a horrible attitude, and she was extremely confrontational. Eventually, the back and forth between us escalated and I asked for another hygienist. The office manager came out whom was very nice and explained that this lady was a temp that was brought in for the day and they offered to change my appointment to another day and time because they were full. I won’t be going back to this dentist office. I work over an hour away, and had this appointment scheduled for weeks. Only to get there and receive sub par treatment. So requiring me to take off work again to accommodate a poorly mannered employee is not a good use of my time.

Negative experience: Although the ladies were nice the organization is horrible. I made an appointment on line showed up and they told me the online is inaccurate then proceeded to schedule me 3 months out. While i was on my way to the appointment they called less than an hour to reschedule my cracked tooth for another 2 to 3 months out someone called out and they cannot do anything about it I had to get upset for them to reschedule a week later. When at the appointment i sat from 10:40 until 1 before going to the back then an additional hour and half to get a tooth pulled. Its like we doing pop up dental offices but the service sucks

Negative experience: Can’t tell you how disappointed I was with these people. The periodontist they referred me too sent me back to them for 2 cleanings. The first cleaning was scheduled and not only did they not clean. But they charged me $300 for X-rays I didn’t need and told me because I smoke and drink coffee that I had some stains. Well that’s what the appointment was made for. I lost money and time at work for absolutely nothing. Then they send me a text saying they scheduled me for another cleaning in 7 months.

Negative experience: The front office staff definitely needs to work on developing their professional skills. The staff discussed a patient delinquent bill loud enough to be overheard in the lobby. The receptionist slammed down her headset and ran away from her desk yelling after failing to communicate on the phone with a patient. My invoice arrived to my house billed to someone that’s not even on my insurance policy.

Negative experience: All I can say they LIE. Here's the back story. They charged me for a free consultation. I asked multiple times was it free. Not one, not twice but three ppl said yes. I had fed them all the information from an otho and another dental clinic. I'm not going to blast the doc name because she was sweet. But unfortunately I fed them everything and turned around and and they fed it back to me, but "try" to put it into there on words. They didn't check nothing in my mouth. All we had was a conversation. Now how in the hell I get billed for having a conversation and the consultation was supposed to be "free". Call today the lady Judy, Jennifer whatever she was so rude and nasty after I explained to her what happened. Then proceed to tell me she was there. I asked her was she there was we had the whole conversation. Her answer no. So she got so disrespectful and was like "mmmmk well I'm not going back and forth and hung up". I'm not nor my insurance is not paying for something that I was told it was free.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. The ole bait and switch with their $99 special. Said they couldn’t do the deal after I asked if there would be an issue if I had other problems and they said no problem. Well they charged me $79 for exam and x rays which I wouldn’t have gotten done if I knew they were going to screw me. Beware of this place
