The staff is warm, welcoming, and truly attentive. They always listen to my concerns and work with my needs. I can’t recommend Apex Dental Studio enough.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first time visiting Apex for an exam. I had a nice experience, the front desk staff, the person seeing me, and the doctor were all friendly and timely. The office is comfortable. They had good communication, explained and discussed with me what I needed, they're not pushy. They had nice drinks and a hot towel they offered at the end. Fantastic experience: It was my first time there since I came from a different office. Dr. Andy and staff were great. From scheduling to front staff to assistants to Dr. Andy. It was a great experience. I had my wisdom tooth removed. I was able to get a same day appointment for an emergency and next day appointment for surgery. They worked around my schedule and surgery went smoothly. I didn't even feel a thing! I will be bringing my family here after a bad experience at my other practice. Thank you for taking such great care! Dr. Andy even texted me after extraction to see how I was doing. It's far from home but I don't mind driving for good dental care.

Fantastic experience: New patient review here! I never thought I would be writing an amazing review about a dentist, but here we are! I recently switched insurances so I was on the market again, which had me stressed to the max. Lucky for me, I found Apex in network and went straight to google reviews first, as always. I called immediately after seeing the perfect reviews. I was booked into a new patient appointment in less than 24 hours! I ruled out other offices for taking too long to respond. Check in here was so easy- I texted in all my info and did the online forms beforehand, a practice I really appreciate. For my first appointment today, the reception staff were so warm and friendly. And everyone had on cute costumes for Halloween! Great communication through the process. This place is all about attention to detail. The office is beyond beautiful- It will blow your previous offices out of the water. I didn’t even know dentist waiting areas could be fun and have music in the lobby, movies, gaming consoles etc. I don’t know why all dentists don’t have this! I didn’t get to indulge those for long though, I didn’t have to wait long to be called back. Everything was so clean and looked brand new. But that’s not the best part. The room was beautiful, and the chair- the chair is heated AND massages! I was offered a blanket or a pillow and since I’m naturally cold, I was in Heaven. I was so comfortable. I had to keep reminding myself I was at a dentist office! For services, the dental assistant took all my imaging and it was painless and easy, showing me the images and talking through them with their very high tech equipment and displays. I met the dentist, Dr. John Le, who was amazing. Personable, conversational and really listened to my goals and we formed a plan together for my care. At no point did I feel rushed which is a huge deal for me. I was even offered a same day cleaning which I was due for, and the hygienist was phenomenal. Also friendly and sweet, and no pain at all! I have sensitive teeth and she really made me comfortable. I just watched my movie over my head on the ceiling tv and almost fell asleep. Upon check out I was given a swag/goodie bag that had some useful and quality products! Overall, 12/10 experience and so happy to have stumbled upon a new dentist that I hope to stay with for as long as possible Thank you Dr. Le and staff!

Positive experience: The staff is friendly but beware…. as I was completing the consent forms electronically on their iPad, I was asked to agree with and sign approval for a warranty on the fillings they were doing. Nowhere did it mention an additional cost and nowhere could you “opt out.” Luckily, they have tried this with me before so I knew to ask a staff member, “is this warranty for an additional charge?” She said,”yes.” I said “well how do I deny it?” She said,”oh, you just sign an ‘x’ for your signature and I will take it off in the system.” Glad I asked! Just be aware of this “tricky” practice they have going on.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at this new dentist’s office! The space has a really cool aesthetic, and I loved the fun touch of an old-school Nintendo 64 in the waiting area. They even gave me a thoughtful welcome gift with an awesome cup, toothbrush and toothbrush squeezer thingy majig! Literally just what I needed. The dentist was so nice and took the time to really listen, which made me feel comfortable and cared for. A special shout-out to Coco, the hygienist, who gave me the best cleaning I’ve ever had in my entire dental history ☺️ thorough, gentle, and amazing results. I’ve always hated getting shots to numb, but Dr. Andy did so well that I barely felt a thing; something I didn’t think was possible. My anxiety about the shot was the worst part. All the dental assistants are also great at making sure you’re comfortable before, during, and after treatment. I will be telling all of my family to go to Apex.

This dentistry is truly at a higher level than any oral care facility I’ve ever seen. I have had care from apex dental for about 8 years now. Recently needed implant surgery, it was such an easy process with them. I couldn’t be happier.

Negative experience: I came to establish care at this dentist, my previous dentist stopped taking my insurance. I take care of my teeth but I am a huge coffee drinker. I got some pictures taken of my teeth and I could see some stains, but I do not have any cavities. Well I was told that one of the stains on my molars was a severe cavity that would not be able to be filled, but I wouldn't need a crown either, it was something like a fill but a little more extreme but less extreme than a crown (I cant remember what this is called since I have NEVER heard of it before). I was shocked!! The dentist never even touched the stain to see if the tooth was soft underneath. I have had many cavities before and I know what a cavity is like, and I know I don't have any (well i have a cavity on my wisdom tooth, but it doesn't bother me, I will extract when it does). Regardless I asked why cant he do a fill, to see his response and he said that the cavity was too severe.......NOPE. I know he is the dentist, but I am 45 yrs old...I see a dentist regularly and I know the state of my teeth. A stain is VERY different than a cavity, regardless, I would prefer a fill first, then if that doesn't work we would move on from that. the office was clean and everyone there was very nice and polite and the guy that helped me was extremely helpful and nice, but the fact that I was being offered a service by the dentist, that I KNOW I don't need is wild.

Negative experience: This is the most attentive, and caring dental practice you will ever go to. If you need a dentist, you need Dr Tran and his team he has the best staff their friendly they're up to date on the latest technology and the key is a ace at being a dentist and taking care of your mouth and your needs. If you get any chance at all go see him. Just to meet him the man is a nice thing you should go shake his hand would be worth it. I initially had given this place a good review, I'm taking it back. After all I have been through, This doctor decided that my case was too complicated for him. Well that just says that he's not really good at what he does. You know all the best thing about the beautiful new denture and beautiful new smiles and beautiful implants, is boasting, but I guess only if you are not older,handicapped and begging and pleading for help. I needed this doctor to take control and he wimped out. DONT GO.IF YOU HAVE A COMPLICATED CASE. HE CANT OR WILL NOT HELP YOU ITS TOO MUCH WORK IT APPEARS. LAZY

Fantastic experience: Awesome place! If God were going to have dental work done, this is where he would go. I committed to the process of getting permanent teeth recently and they have done everything to do an amazing job as well as make me feel comfortable during this process. In the beginning of it I was concerned because I hate needles and surgeries so I was apprehensive every time I sat down in the seat to be worked on, but with great people skills, care and concern for others, and professional demeanors they have made me completely comfortable with going in for the next surgery every time. Dr Andy Tran knows what he's doing and I trust him because he knows what he's doing and how to make it as comfortable as possible. Also, I got to mention Lauren. Here's why, Lauren not only makes each visit comfortable but makes everything that I need to be told understandable instead of using medical terms or jargon that no one can really understand. She's professional and has amazing people skills and she's sharp, meaning she can speak to on whatever level you're on, so I never feel like I'm in some medical office sitting in a chair about to be worked on. And Dr Tran and her work well together because the ability to understand each other and communicate perfectly together with the doctor and his staff as their performing a surgery on you is exactly what you want to see during your surgery and that is exactly what you find here. There is never any need to explain anything about the present moment to each other during each process and for me that is exactly how I want it to be during my procedures. Also want to shout out to the front desk employees for making all intake paperwork and such processes as carefree and smooth as possible. Thank you for the staff that cleans my teeth and thank you for just working in such a small space well together and and making every patient feel better. I look forward to seeing Apex dental with Dr. Andy Tran and his staff in the next visit every time. Each visit feels more like rec.time than a dental appointment at Apex Dental Studio in Hutto, Tx. They're janitor even help me unlock my car with his own tools when I locked myself out one day and you can't get much more helpful from everybody in a company than you do here. Fantastic experience: As a 17-year-old who has battled with their smile since childhood, this wonderful studio and family have transformed that. They have made me love my smile after getting braces, and I can't believe that they have made me love wearing them for three years. I could go on and on about how effective and reliable they are, but it's the individual personalities and moral work of each employee that really makes this lovely studio their "it" factor! What a fantastic studio and family business! They genuinely make you feel at ease, extremely proud, and happy with the way your dental work turned out!

Negative experience: Will never come here again ! Everyone stay away don’t waste your money! Andy is rude and moody super weird ! Immature staff - I had to request one girl to not touch me - she was dropping tools and giggling ! Ridiculous! Expensive ! They are oops you waited to long price increase and now you need more work done! Which was not true - this office was trying to stick me for 3 crowns only needed one Very unprofessional while you’re in the chair all they do is talk and when Andy is not on rude mode ! Andy thinks he is a comedian very unprofessional!

Negative experience: I felt comfortable with the appointment scheduler, front staff, and dental assistant but the dentist seemed arrogant. I asked questions of options and he gave me 2 (extraction and partials…I’m trying to keep my teeth), and after I probed for more information/options he said that there are other options but they get more expensive. He had a sly grin while answering. He didn’t know if I could afford the more expensive options or not, but didn’t give them to me until I probed. I want bedside polite manner and that wasn’t it.

Fantastic experience: It’s hard to put into words what Apex Dental and Dr. Andy have done for my life, but I’ll try. This isn’t just a dental review — this is the story of getting my confidence, my happiness, and my smile back after nearly two decades of hiding it. Growing up, dental care simply wasn’t an option for my family. We didn’t have the means, and brushing my teeth was just something I was told to do, not something I understood. I had no real education around dental hygiene, and unfortunately, the consequences caught up with me. By the time I was 22, all of my back teeth had rotted out. Eighteen teeth — gone. Top and bottom. I was left with only my front teeth, which were never meant to take on the job of chewing, so over time they wore down too. I didn’t just lose teeth — I lost my ability to smile, to eat normally, to speak without self-consciousness. For the next 18 years, I avoided mirrors. I learned how to talk while hiding my teeth. Negative experience: I used to really like coming here, but honestly in the last 1-2 years this place has gone downhill. I had my suspicions for awhile, but my last appointment confirmed it for me. I came in for my usual cleaning. They told me I needed X-rays which I'm not sure why because they did them at my previous cleaning and technically, X-rays are only required every 2 or 3 years. I should have declined. Then they assigned me to an inexperienced hygienist. She did not follow the usual cleaning protocol that is performed. Normally, cleanings take 30-45 minutes, but this took a whole hour and a half!! She started by flossing which is often done after the cleaning. Instead of using the ultrasonic scaler which they had always used at all my previous cleanings, she spent a whole hour scraping at my teeth and gums until they were raw and bleeding. The whole time she was really rough and aggressive, pulling on my chin and mouth. She seemed very dismissive about my constant twitching and discomfort. Her whole demeanor was unprofessional and really rubbed me the wrong way. When Dr. Le walked in 30 minutes into my "cleaning", the hygienist told him she was concerned about the inflammation in my gums and recommended that I schedule a 2 session deep cleaning. I felt it was absolutely unnecessary given she butchered my gums and he agreed with her and insisted to me that I schedule this deep cleaning....ummm WHAT?! She then used the ultrasonic scaler for less than 5 minutes and it hurt even more because my gums were already scraped and raw. She then put away the ultrasonic scaler and spent another half hour scraping my teeth and gums again! After that, she finally finished and walked out of the room and didn't come back except to give me a toothbrush, floss and some mouth rinse. I didn't see her again after that. No polishing was done which is usually the process in a cleaning and no fluoride was applied which I originally requested. One of the ladies at the front desk came in and tried to schedule me for this deep cleaning and I told her I'd wait. Then she walked me out. I was beyond disappointed. I've NEVER had that kind of experience with a cleaning before and it really put me off. I wouldn't even call it a cleaning. Unfortunately, after this experience in addition to trying to pile on unnecessary treatments which they had done before, I will not be coming back. It is clear to me that they care more about their image and making money than they do about their patients.

Fantastic experience: Really, good experience. First time going to dentist during this new COVID-19 era, but service was awesome. Dr Andy and his wonderful assistant Kayri took time to explain my kids options and got me taken care off.. This is the first Dentist to talk and explain to my 7 and 4 year old kids on what procedures they will have performed on them. They were both calm and everything worked out very well. I would definitely go back. Taylor and Morgan were amazing , explained all the steps and took care of my crown . I always feel welcomed and their service is top notch. Much appreciated .

Fantastic experience: Since 2023, I have been a patient of Dr. Andy Tran. and Dr. John Le. I chose this office because of the equipment information posted on their website and Google Maps. I have been living in Austin for almost a decade, and in that time I’ve visited three different dental practices. Of all three, Dr. Andy Tran’s practice is by far the best regarding equipment quality and technology. I consider this a critical factor because it directly impacts patient care, efficiency, and practice success by enabling better diagnoses and therefore more accurate treatments. I am confident in my assertion that Dr. Andy does not let his practice fall behind. In my experience, I have seen firsthand how other practices fall behind, and I don’t see Dr. Andy doing that. Of all the team members, my favorite is Morgan. She is meticulous, thorough and overall detail-oriented, and I believe that’s a key to the success of any procedure, but especially in a dental practice, where attention to detail is paramount.
